If you, like us, appreciate the simplicity of ingredients, and the glorious nature of vegetables treated with care, you will love Roots. From the homemade bread served with aoli, to the courgettes drizzled with olive oil and the charred aubergine cooked in the wood oven, Roots are looking to revive traditional Salentino cuisine. Our piccolo trattoria menu was bountiful, with a bowl of ragu and rigatoni to finish the savoury courses. The only thing that would be great to see, is a few natural wines on the wine list to compliment their ingredient-first approach to food.
