14 Bagel Spots In and Around Montreal (That Aren’t Just Fairmount and St-Viateur) | Eater Montreal
"For those who live on the South Shore or who don’t mind taking a bit of a detour in the name of carbs, a Brossard Bagel is as legit as any Montreal bagel out there. Opened in the early 2000s as an off-Island alternative to the famed bagel stops in Montreal proper, Brossard Bagel has become an area favourite for the traditional hand-rolled, honey-boiled bagels this city is so well-known for. There are 15 sweet and savoury flavours to choose from — including coconut, carrot and raisin, and all-dressed — each hand-rolled, baked in-house, and served fresh." - Mallory Frayn
Service was relatively fast, and they were kind. We really liked the smoked salmon sandwich and the one with smoked meat. I wished I could have a bite of each kind of bagel.

We got a bagel freshly baked and still hot 🔥 nothing really beats this.
In southshore, i know 2 spots that offer firewood baked bagels: Brossard Bagel & Oze.
We tried both to compare, i very slightly prefare the Oze. Also i prefer fairmont bagels in mtl and st-aviateur is my favourite spot still. But guys, we splitting hairs here! All 4 spots are AMAZING. Stop by and get one fresh while its hot!

Brossard Bagels makes excellent bagels, plain and simple. We had breakfast bagels and sandwiches and everything was very tasty. The bagels had a great texture with a bit of a more crunchy outside, but soft inside compared to the bagels in our area in the US which are more chewy.

We were visiting from Toronto and decided to do a trip to Montreal. We couldn't leave without a bag of Montreal bagels. We usually go to Fairmont but decided to check out this place as it was on the way. In my opinion, this was one of the worst decisions. I asked for fresh bagels which I usually get at the other bagel stores. The cashier was kind and said yes. After the purchase she asked the baker and he said to give us the old ones. The bagels were stale, not fresh and not good to eat. They also have Jamaica pies and samosas at this store. Please try other bagel stores

We came to Montreal for a soccer tournament and the entire team ate here for lunch. Everyone loved the experience of watching the bagels being freshly baked with real wood fire. The quality of the food was off the charts. The owner himself served the team and the rest of restaurant team were soooo patient. The quality of the food is worth the drive and coming from Toronto...this experience is definitely in the books. Will come here everytime we are back and wondering if this could be delivered in Toronto 😎😊😋.
Thank youuuuuuu team Brossard!!!

We purchased twelve bagels from Brossard Bagel, selecting the fresh-out-of-the-oven sesame seed ones. These bagels were pleasantly chewy, warm and delicious.
Additionally, we sampled the samosas, although they had been microwaved, causing a loss of texture. Despite that, they still offered good taste.

I really loved my tuna bagel sandwich.
The coffee was really nice. You have a wide option of self-service coffee machine.
The outside seating was really nice. It would perfect when the weather is good.
The service was nice.
Every once in a while I go to this beautiful place to have some bagel sandwiches with some French Vanilla coffee. I would like to add that I tried the Salmon bagel sandwich and it is delicious.

Bagels to die for! Generous portions and delicious wood oven baked in house bagels. Basically mix and match, you pick up what type of bagel you want, ex rye, whole wheat, onion and many more to choose from. Then you pick what type of meat you’d like to have. Plenty options to choose from, too.
