Google
Broth and Basil has been cemented: the vermicelli with charbroiled beef or short ribs. It’s a consistently delicious and satisfying dish—one good enough that I never felt the need to explore the rest of the menu. I figured pho was pho, but the Pho Wagyu recently proved me wrong. On a whim, I decided to splurge on the Wagyu Plate option, and the difference was immediate. The star of this bowl is, without a doubt, the steak. . The flavor and quality of the Wagyu elevates the entire experience, offering a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and a deep, rich flavor. While the vermicelli dishes I usually order are fantastic value, the Pho Wagyu is an absolute indulgence that is worth every extra penny. This isn't just an upcharge for a name; it’s a premium dish delivered through exceptional ingredients. It’s now my all-time favorite item on the menu, and I doubt I’ll be going back to my old standard any time soon. If you’re a regular like I was, do yourself a favor and try the Wagyu—it’s worth breaking tradition for.

Google
Best Thai Tea!! been coming there pretty often and it’s really good every single time! My favorite are the Pork Belly sliders! The spring rolls are very appetizing as well. We had the rice with the beef today and the beef was really juicy. We also got the Pho Wagyu which was super good the only thing is it came with some brisket which was not good it had a certain taste to it, like it was old. But i put it to the side and enjoyed the rest which was amazing. Very good deal for what you pay for.

Google
Food was very tasty. They give you large portions. The broth was perfect! Definitely worth the money.

Google
The service and the food were very good. I had the Pho Phenomenal and it was as good as the name. The shrimp spring rolls were tremendous. I'd highly recommend it.

Google
My family and I ate here today for lunch, and overall we were extremely happy. Three of us tried various pho, one rice/com dish, and one hu tieu, as well as egg and spring rolls, and the beignet fries shared for dessert. Everyone was pleased with their food, even my family that had never tried pho before, and I can say I found the pho wagyu extremely enjoyable, definitely top three for bowls of pho I've ever had. Portions are a good size, the average person should expect to be full by the time your meal is done, or otherwise to have enough left to take home. None of us were hungry enough to eat many of the beignet fries right away, but they were also excellent. The prices are fair for the quality and amount of food, not expensive for my limited dining experience in this part of Texas. Most entrees are $10-20. The only thing any of us were at all bothered by is incidental to being successful, lots of tables, customers, and food traffic means it isn't perfectly quiet but that's far from the worst problem to have. Definitely recommend!

Google
We stopped by on a recommendation to try a new place since we usually hit local spots for Pho. Overall it was good. Not a traditional place, has a more modern feel. I am pretty sure it’s not a chain but it had that feel. The beef Pho was really good. Not sure what sizes they have available but ours looked like a large. I wasn’t a fan of the flat plate for my V bowl, especially since the fish sauce usually collects at the bottom in traditional bowls but the food was good. The service was excellent and it added to the overall experience. we will go back for sure since we moved to Thai side of town.

Lawrence B.

Google
Food was really good! The food options all looked delicious based on the menu. Simple and white inside. Seating next to the kitchen is very noisy so try not to sit there. The waiter and other employees were really nice. Highly recommend this place. The Vermicelli dish option is a must try especially the phenomenal. Beef short ribs were seasoned well. Looking forward to coming back m!

Google
We went 3 adults and 3 kids (Age 7, 4 and 1 years) for dinner today. The person in 2nd picture and who sat us table said since we are 6 people, there will be a service charge. We said 1 year old is not even having dinner. He said ok but when we paid he slapped 20% service charge (a compulsory tip) 🤬 If this is how small business is going to treat customers with kids; I recommend go somewhere else. There was nothing special about food and overly salty.

Yelp
I love pho, and it just happens to be in the area. I've never been here until today and I really liked their broth. It has almost like a sweet lingering taste. The portion is very generous as well. I had the egg rolls, which were delicious and crispy. The place gets pretty packed for lunch and a lot of people also get orders to go, showing that it's a favorite for a lot of people. The service is excellent, super friendly staff and fast to get food out and clean the tables. They're located in a pretty busy plaza, but the food is really good and that's why you can tell people choose to come here. I would like to try the vermicelli and rice next time. Because I'm coming back!

Yelp
Really good pho, and overall a high quality restaurant and experience. A notch above your typical Pho restaurant. My only suggestion would be to consistently allow your patrons to use your Wi-Fi. It seems to be a dead zone for Verizon, and the guy next to me was connected to the WiFi, but when I asked for the password I was told it's private. Good is definitely fantastic though.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner and was really happy I did. Parking situation is a little crazy, had to park a bit away and walk over, lots of traffic in the area. Was seated right away and given a menu. Service was quick, ordered my usual fresh rolls and pho with everything. Rolls were very good, fresh and loaded with shrimp and pork. Pho was good, nice flavor to the broth and loaded with meat. Looks like almost every other pho place inside, utilitarian and industrial. Enjoyed it and would definitely come back

Yelp
Excellent food! And service. Quick and reliable. We love ordering in and out. XOXOXOXO

Yelp
If you haven't checked out this local favorite, put it on your list! Always clean and comfortable with staff that always greets you with a smile. LOVE that I can sub any noodle for Zoodles here. I don't know of any other place to get Pho or Vermicelli with a zucchini swap! Meats and veggies are flavorful and broths are perfection.
google avatar

Yelp
Hủ tiếu special is not special when there is no pork belly. Y'all should have what you put in your menu. The broth tastes just salty and water, bland. Phở with rare steak and brisket. Got home with no rare steak. No green onions. Broth has no flavor. Very disappointed. If you don't know any better.
google avatar

Philip Y.

Yelp
Wagyu beef served on a sizzling iron plate is a great deal. You would not expect such a high quality beef from a pho restaurant. A special dish created by the chef and sourced from Ranger Cattle. Love it! The pork broth was kind of salty but the side salad was great.
google avatar

Jeanna L.

Yelp
The 3x I have been the food is just great. Meats are quality and the produce is fresh. This last time I decided to try something on the lighter side- grilled shrimp and zoodles (zuchini noodles) instead of the vermacelli. They were fresh and a healthy portion. Service is always quick and efficient too. Cute spot to eat it as well, with cool artwork on the walls! Another top reccomendation is the beef short rib and pork egg rolls!

Yelp
My relationship with this restaurant has changed for the better over the years. It went from a place I was just kind of "meh" about to one that I actually get cravings for. Great environment and location and very friendly service here. I realize I actually prefer venturing beyond the pho side of the menu and ordering the vermicelli with choice of protein (the grilled shrimp is a personal fave of mine). It's filling and quite fresh and healthy. Note: this is really best enjoyed at the restaurant as opposed to takeout or delivery. It's just better when it's fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Yep yep yep!!!! Rainy day, great PHO... cold soccer game. This place was awesome! They have kids bowls for just $9. We got the rare steak pho and seafood pho. Both hit the spot. Service was fast and attentive.
google avatar

Gregg M.

Yelp
As usual, I experienced excellent service, outstanding Pho and comfortable ambiance. My rare steak and brisket Pho was outstanding today. Very lean proteins and very fresh herbs and jalapeños. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Keep up the great job! Surely a repeater for me.
google avatar

Kimm N.

Yelp
Food : 4 the seafood pho was good but their hu tieu special noodle has really tasty broth with hint of fried dried shrimp in it. The spring roll was ok. Service - 5 fast Ambiance - 4 basic simple quick hop in and out setting.

Yelp
If you follow Texas BBQ you will see that this is the most inexpensive way to have a dino rib. The beef rib pho is heaven on earth and the meat portion is huge (see pics). The bao bun sliders and vegan egg rolls were a delicious addition to our meal. I was super impressed with the pho. That beef rib was tender and delicious. The service was freindly and efficient and the food was very delicious. I love this area and there are many decent restaurants to enjoy. I would definitely return.
google avatar

Jana C.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean, and I liked the not-too-assuming atmosphere. There's so many options for pho! That's awesome. I got the flank and brisket pho, and the meat and noodles were great. I was not a huge fan of the broth. In my opinion, it was too aromatic and had too many spices in it. It was good, but not my preference. But overall, I'll keep this place in mind and visit again. I'd love to try the spring rolls and vermicelli noodles!

Yelp
I've wanted to try this place forever, so I'm glad I got to check it off my list. We ordered the Pho Beef Rib and Vermicelli with Charbroiled Pork and Pork Egg Roll. Out of the two dishes, we enjoyed the pho more. The pho broth had a more star anise flavor than I liked, but it was still pretty good overall. The star of the dish was the beef rib. Wow! The meat was tender, the flavor was terrific, and it cooked perfectly. I would go back there for that alone. It was a casual setting and there was plenty of seating on the day we went for lunch. The waitress was nice, and the food came out pretty quick. If you're craving Vietnamese food, this will do this trick.
google avatar

Patti R.

Yelp
This place is so very delicious. I seriously love the vermicelli and am so excited they have the charbroiled chicken. It is so tasty!!! The pho is crave-worthy and I appreciate you can sub out for zucchini noodles in their dishes. They also offer beef rib and you can add it to an existing dish or get their beef rib pho. That thing is so tender and flavorful, it's criminal!
google avatar

Ashlee G.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out since I have been wanting to try some real good pho. So glad I did cause omg this was the best pho I ever had. I decided to get the bun sliders and shrimp pho. They came out with all the topping for the pho before it came out. Waitress was super sweet and nice. Pho was steaming hot such a big bowl I didn't finish it but took some home with me! Will most definitely be back for more!

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant in Pflugerville. Fresh, healthy, delicious, and filling. Fast, too. The food is consistent, the wait staff are friendly, and the location is clean. Both my husband and I always get the pho brisket. He orders his with zoodles (zucchini noodles). I order mine w regular noodles. I add siracha and hot oil to mine. Delicious. I always have a little extra left over to take home, too. We would be here more often, but their kids' menu is very basic and has nothing that our kids like. Kids' prices are also very expensive for what they provide. Very plain and very small kids meals. We just don't bring our kiddos when we come here. If you do bring a couple kids, you're best off having them split one adult meal. Both for variety on the plate and for size of their meal. My kids are just not into plain noodles w meat or plain pho. I'm not docking any stars for this shortcoming since the pho is THAT good. If they ever do add some better kid options, we would be able to visit more often. Hopefully, the owners will see this and consider it. If they don't, we will still be back!

Yelp
I decided to try this place while I was in the area. The restaurant has both a front and back entrance, with the L-shaped layout resulting in more tables in the front area compared to the back. Overall, there's a decent amount of seating available. I ordered the Pho with rare meat and brisket. The broth had a slightly sour taste compared to others I've tried. Each diner receives their own plate of herbs and veggies when ordering Pho. However, I don't recommend taking leftover Pho home from here. Despite separating the broth and noodles into two different containers, the broth had a strange taste when reheated at home. The service was prompt and efficient. I was seated quickly, and my order was taken without delay.
google avatar

Paula L.

Yelp
Great pho and hi tieu noodles. It was a taste of South East Asia and I loved it! Place was clean, service was quick, price was reasonable.

Yelp
Reviewing this spot again after 5 years. I can't say much has changed since our first time visiting back then. To say it quickly, the fresh rolls did not taste fresh, the rice paper was either insufficiently soaked or the rolls were sitting out for too long. Just a small detail but they also mistakenly gave us pork instead of shrimp. I was excited to try the bao but that quickly faded on first bite. The bun itself was a bit too chewy and not in a good way. The duck tasted overcooked, I was expecting soft+fattiness but got the exact opposite. The pho is very overrated here (by yelp reviews) in my opinion. The broth lacks depth. I cannot recommend this place over any other pho restaurant that I've been to in the Austin area. Our waiter was very kind, that's the only positive experience I can takeaway from the visit.

Yelp
Craving a good Pho fix, my wife and I tried this place out last night. It is close to our temporary digs, and I had read the reviews to see if we might like it. We arrived around 6:00 pm and the place was packed. We put our name down on a wait list and within 5 minutes we had a table. The decor is minimalist with very cool wall murals. It does have an industrial feel, and the high exposed ceiling causes the ambient noise to be a bit amplified. Our table was a little small (even though it was designed for 2 people) as the condiment tray took up a bit of space. Condiments include Sriracha sauce, Chili sauce (in a squeeze bottle), Hoisin sauce, salt, pepper, chopsticks, forks and spoons. The menu provides plenty of options to include some Wagyu beef options. Intrigued, I ordered the $22 Pho Wagyu and my wife had the $15 Vermicelli Phenominal. Both portions were large. Below is my feedback: - Pho Wagyu (10/10). It was presented with the raw Wagyu beef placed on top of the noodles (I assume so the customer can see the marbling). The server then poured the hot (delicious) broth over the top of the meat and filled the bowl. A plate of bean sprouts, lime wedges, Thai basil, and sliced jalapeños accompanied my Pho. After loading up the bowl with the garnishes I dug in. - Vermicelli Phenomenal (9/10). This dish included vermicelli with char grilled pork and chicken and was accompanied by a pork eggroll. Her dish also included some greens and shredded carrots, crushed peanuts, and a small cup of vermicelli broth (which was a little too sweet for her taste). When the server was pouring my broth, she asked if he would pour some over her vermicelli, which he graciously did. She didn't care for the eggroll as it was a little greasy and the pork was more like a paste than ground pork (what she expected). Bottom line: We will definitely be back for more. we'd like to try some of the other dishes on the menu like the rice options and the Hu Tieu specialty. Do yourself a favor if you're craving some great Pho and stop in for some at Broth & Basil!

Yelp
Visited in-person about a year ago, but wasn't too impressed. However, I recently ordered to go and now I am considering a return with the family for lunch. To go, I ordered their pork chop vermicelli with a pork spring roll. It was so delicious and much better than I remember from my initial visit. I ordered through Door Dash and the delivery was prompt and food was still hot. The order was just as I requested (no onions). From what I recall, the restaurant is very chill and relaxed, and spacious and suitable for the whole family.

Jason L.

Yelp
The pho is amazing! Their broth is the best and they use very fresh, high quality ingredients. I'm hooked. Frequent customer. Always great service from the entire staff. Shout out to Simon especially - always very personable, professional and genuine.
google avatar

J C.

Yelp
The vibe inside is modern and cool, definitely attractive for young adults. The pho broth was decent, however the noodles were a bit disappointing. They kept breaking apart as I picked it up with my chopsticks, I ended up maneuvering with my spoon as well. I don't think this would be top of my list if I'm in the area, but maybe the vermicelli could be an option to try next.

Jesse S.

Yelp
Amazing prompt service, food is always hot and ready to go. I recommend you start with a serving of spring rolls then followed by the pho w/charbroil ribs, then wash it down with a cool refreshing tall glass of Thai Tea. Broth & Basil never fails to satisfy even the hardiest of appetites.
google avatar

Joaquin B.

Yelp
Well what can I say. Rice hot, charbroiled beef horrible. Cold, tough, weird sweet taste. Broth nice and hot. Service, maybe I will let you know when I ask for my check, Ambiance ok I guess. Food use to be really delicious I have no idea what happened. NOT A FAN RIGHT NOW.

Dusty Dane N.

Yelp
Order pork spring rolls and they had no pork in them!! I called and they basically called me a liar! HORRIBLE customer service!! DO BETTER!!
google avatar

Emily P.

Yelp
Delicious ! I love their Thai green tea. This is my family's go to spot when they come visit!
google avatar

Yanet G.

Yelp
Went to have a solo date and from pictures I saw in reviews to what I saw in person is really similar. Food was great and had a unique taste from other places I've been. Employees really attentive as soon as you walk in, they really respectful and friendly. Will recommend if going in a solo , couple, or group date.
google avatar

Rachael R.

Yelp
My go to pho place in north Austin! The broth has a lot of flavor! I also love how clean and pretty the restaurant is! Meat was delicious and fresh!
google avatar

Leah G.

Yelp
I picked up a noodle bowl for lunch about a week ago. The website said that the order would take about 30 minutes, but I decided I would wait there in case it was ready early. As soon as I drove up and was able to find a space, I walked in to the clean restaurant that smelled divine, and lo and behold, my meal was ready! The charbroiled chicken noodle bowl was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I will be back!
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We stopped by on a Saturday evening to try this place. Service was excellent. All the food came out quickly and was hot and freshly prepared. Our group consisted of vegetarians, carnivores and pescatarians, who all found their meals delicious. Broth and Basil has earned itself a place on our rotation of special restaurants.

Maria P.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken dish and it was supposed to come with the egg on it. I showed the waitress the picture. I was so disappointed in this place. They were so unprofessional. I did not get what I ordered and on top of that, a long strand of black hair was in the my soup bowl. I called over the waitress and later on the manager came over. They were unprofessional and did not ask me if I wanted something else. They had the vibe that they did not care. The manager with the ponytail was pathetic and did not act any better. I just asked for my money back.I do not recommend this place.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Excellent combination of noodles and pho , this spot had quick service I was amazed how quickly the pick up order was available. I would go back
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
We stopped in here for the first time. I've seen it listed as one of the better places to get good Pho near home, my wife and I have a favorite place for Pho, it may have just changed. I don't usually "recommend" in my reviews but this time I have to say that I really recommend the dry-rub wings as an appetizer. Wow, they were some of the best wings I've ever had. My wife had the Pho, I tasted the broth and it was delicious. She said it was some of the best she's had too. I ordered the Vermicelli with grilled chicken. Again, it was really good, lots of chicken, noodles and sauce were great. We've driven by this place so many times without stopping in, it's now going to be our destination for Pho, wings and anything else on their menu. Cap this visit off with good service and a friendly staff.
google avatar

Felicia L.

Yelp
This is a solid pho place! There are a number of different options with proteins. The place is smaller and it fills up fast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was all delicious!
google avatar

Ari R.

Yelp
It's fine. I wish I had more to say but really that's it. I didn't super like this place, but the food was solid. The space was clean and bright, a little crowded. Honestly, it can get packed and this isn't the kind of spot I would consider worth a wait. Don't come hungry because your food will take some time. It's in a small shopping center and the staff is nice enough. If you're already in the area looking for pho you can't go wrong here, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Dan A.

Yelp
Delicious quick and authentic. Priced right as well. I wasn't sure the Wagyu Pho would be worth it but it is. Super tender and flavorful.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Quick service for a great bowl of pho. The egg rolls are very good we should have gotten the four count to share.I liked that they have more high end choices if you want to splurge. Such as the bone marrow pho. But they also do the classics very well. There was even a choice to switch the noodles to zucchini noodles. My fiancé got them and was able to enjoy pho for the first time in a while because they offered this.
google avatar

Tritney B.

Yelp
My co workers and I decided to try something new & recommended by another colleague. Being that the pho is delivered with uncooked meats in person it was my perception that it would be delivered fully put together but raw meats were bagged and TRANSPORTED to be put together. The broth itself was incredulously lack luster & lacking any taste. My self & my coworkers were unimpressed & regretting our lunch choice. The delivery was the only seemingly positive part of this experience.
google avatar

Angel G.

Yelp
I was there for lunch and the food was so delicious and a variety of vegetarian dishes.
google avatar

Lily W.

Yelp
Was craving Pho and decided to check this place out and was blown away, I'd say this is the best Pho I've had in the Austin area. Very good service and the ambiance was exactly what you'd want from a local pho joint, casual and comfortable. I'd give 10 stars if that was an option, great job Broth & Basil staff!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Honestly, one of the best "to-go" phó places I have been. Was in a pinch for dinner and had to make an executive decision FAST! Place a quick to-go order for the Beef Rib Phó and it did not disappoint. Rib meat was super tender, seasoned very well, all the fixings that come with, (onion, fresh basil, jalapeño, bean sprouts and lime) all fresh which was amazing. I got an order of egg rolls. Really crispy and not soggy after being in a to-go container for approximately 20 minutes. Fish sauce was on point and not too tart. All in all, really good takeout. To-go counter was quick and friendly. And the restaurant itself self was pretty modern. Nice simple feel to it. Loved the paint mural on the walls.

Yelp
Let me first start this off by saying i LOVE pho.Since moving to texas 8 years ago, its become a staple in my diet. Its the perfect food for me when im feeling under the weather or when i just want a super tasty soup. Broth & Basil for sure will satisfy all your pho needs. The portions are generous and the taste always delivers, ive never actually eaten inside the restaurant, ive always gotten it to go but i can say they package everything to go very nicely and the container ensures your pho will not spill. There are not too many Places to get pho around pflugerville,so im so happy this place is near my house!
google avatar

Jr. J.

Yelp
It was very good! I can't wait to visit Texas again for this! Had the Wagyu Bo Luc Lac and beef rib pho, the best hands down!
google avatar

Patrick W.

Yelp
Do you know that good Vietnamese food is hard to find In Austin. in a pinch this place isn't bad. They serve good food, and the place is air-conditioned. I really liked their café sudha, iced coffee. my wife, who is Vietnamese said she would certainly come back. There's so many different food courts in this area of Pflugerville, and this one is just a little out of reach from the other fast food places, which makes it a dining experience. Plenty of parking and comes recommended by me and my wife.

Yelp
No peanuts mean no peanuts! My experience with Broth & Basil was bittersweet. I had read many of the reviews and had high expectations so I ordered several dishes. The ordering experience was smooth and painless and the employees were very pleasant. I ordered the pork eggrolls, 2 meat pho and vermicelli phenomenal "to go". The eggrolls had such flavor and an even amount of pork and veggies. The fish sauce truly enhanced the taste. What was even more surprising is you can tell they weren't purchased from a third-party warehouse that supplies eggrolls to every restaurant. I can honestly say they are the best eggrolls I have tasted in quite some time. The pho broth wasn't anything spectacular but there was a decent amount of meats and since it was "to go" I could manage the veggies. Definitely the "sweet" moment. The "bitter" part of my experience was with my vermicelli phenomenal. I specifically asked for no peanuts or cucumbers. When I arrived home and opened the plate, I immediately noticed the peanuts! I quickly picked up the receipt to make sure that it had been noted and sure enough no cumbers and no peanuts was there. Although the person who was going to eat the dish didn't have a deathly reaction to peanuts, it was still something that was requested be removed from the dish for a reason. I am disappointed that the kitchen didn't respect the wishes of the customer. If I do return, I will definitely stick to just the eggrolls.

Yelp
From California had I'm from California visiting my grandson and had some food delivered.I tried this place and I got to say it was probably the best fate I've ever had.I would give it 20 stars.Thank you so muchno
