My family and I came here to celebrate my godson's 21st birthday and we not only had fun celebrating but the whole entire experience was so awesome. Our server was fantastic and everything was clean, fresh and very well organized. The choices and quality are top notch. Highly recommend this culinary cultural experience.

This food is sooooooooo good, I had to bring friends. I just happened upon this restaurant because people were standing outside waiting in the rain. I thought to myself ain't no way I'm waiting in the rain for average anything, so I decided to have lunch there. Since I was alone I sat at the bar. Fantastic! BOTTOMLESS APPETIZERS!! Refills on broth. All you can eat meats and veggies. It was my first time at a shabu shabu, so now I gotta try more to see if this place was special. As of now, this is a must try! Highly recommended. Oh, the 1 point deduction is only because there were times I had to look for my server and 5/5 service is when the server communicates any delays that might impact their availability up front. Lastly, the music🔥🔥🔥

Good meat, great buffet selection and you have your own broth bowl on a heat-controlled. We have visited during lunch and it’s only $20.99. Great price for all you can eat, can’t beat that 👍🏼

Arrived on a Monday at 11:15 and my party of 4 was immediately seated. I love all the options of meats, seafood, veggies and other stuff as well!

This is my wife and i’s favorite go-to. Great varieties of meats . The broths are always delicious and tasty. They also have a great variety of vegetables and other toppings that one can pick out from to make their soup unique to their liking. Great alcoholic beverages as well. On the weekends it does get busy and the wait can be a while , but it is worth it

For vegans, order the miso or spicy miso with hot water instead of the normal non vegan broth. I had to ask for more miso because it was bland at first, but they happily brought me some to add in. Lots of yummy veggies to add in from the buffet bar. My meat eater family loved it too.Not rating atmosphere because some people will love it, some won't. It was crowded, lively, loud (from conversation, not music)

We went there recently for my daughter's birthday. The restaurant itself is nice. Very clean and trendy. Parking can be a bit of hassle. We selected first available seating and thankfully their patio area is really well shaded. The wait staff are great. Clearly explained the menu options. The options are plenty and fresh. Fast with food and drinks and attentive to refills of both food and drink Theres a good variety of selections and its all very good. Its not cheap, but theres a good value there. Go to Shabu-shabu, good food great place, great people. Bring an appetite to make it worth the price. The only negative thing is i had a complaint about how there seems to be a disconnect between the yelp wait list and when you check in at the restaurant. I spoke to manager privately and calmly. The onsight manager seemed more interested in proving how right he was which i was willing to listen to, because i was probably missing something to understand how it really works. But he refused to understand that there maybe some confusion from the customer point of view. He was condescending and at times outright rude. When i called him on it, he said i was being stern. It seemed we were at a communication impasse so i asked to speak to his boss. He very proudly, said he was it. Felt like he wanted to assert himself as the end of line and authority person here. Okay fine, let's try again. I let him know that i was sorry that he felt if i was being too stern. I also let him know that i felt he was being pretty condescending to a customer and a bit rude. An apology was not returned. Conversation had to end there, because the point of any conversation is two way communication. If its only going one way its not a conversation its a lecture. And i dont subscribe to the customer is always BS, but you should never lecture them or be rude to them. All the reviews are really positive and I get that im more than likely confused about some detail. But i wasnt rude, never raised my voice. I just tried to point out something that might be a little confusing. And i didnt appreciate how i was talked to to. Not that it makes a difference, but if it wasn't my daughters bday, and we had a somewhat large group i would have left and i would have missed out on good food and great service. With only the conversation (lecture) with the front manager being my experience. He is a well intentioned person, just think he needs some training on conflict resolution, it is a service industry its bound to happen again.

Donny was absolutely amazing!! Always checked on us and asked if we wanted refills on meat and our water. We didn't feel rushed at all. Thank you Donny!

Our server Donnie was awesome. He made our first visit to Hot Pot definitely not our last. Great food and flavors.

Rainy day, late Sunday afternoon, cold weather. This is the place you want to go and try. Just a heads up the wait can be a bit long so make sure to waitlist way ahead of time. I can't say enough, when it comes to broth shabu shabu I'll only go here. The waiters are good and the quality of the food is amazing. Definitely try it out and show up with an empty belly.

This spot is popular for a reason. Even though we showed up during their slower hour, there was already a waitlist. Luckily, the service moves super fast. You can order up to six plates at a time, so we went for the beef toro, Australian lamb, and beef shoulder. The beef toro was a little on the fatty side--but honestly, that's probably why it tasted so amazing. I'm a big lamb fan, so the Australian lamb was definitely my favorite. The only one I wouldn't reorder is the beef shoulder; once it's cooked, it gets a bit tough to chew. The food was so good we completely forgot to take pictures... which says everything.

Hands down the best AYCE shabu in the area, the meats and veggies are all so fresh and delicious. 5 choices of broth to choose from. If you're on a budget, highly recommend to try their weekday lunch menu for 20.99 per person and it's da bomb dot com! So affordable and decent for that price. They also offer appetizers like chicken kaarage (popcorn chicken) with different sauce. They have a dipping sauce station with several choices like ponzu, spicy ponzu, asian chili oil, cilantro, jalapeños.... The service was usually quick and the restaurant is generally clean. Definitely my #1 choice for Shabu!

Haven't been here since 2019 but recently came back & it was as good as I remembered! There was quite a wait on a week night, but you're able to join via Yelp waitlist. Waited about 25 mins to get seated. Ordered their house special and spicy miso as our 2 bases. There's a plethora of veggies, seafood, and noodles to choose from, & a sauce station. I tried all of the meats which included beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. Their karaage appetizers (soy and volcano) were yummy as well. Service was attentive and offered broth refills throughout.

I came right at opening on a rainy Friday morning. They open at 11am and I checked in at 11:08 with about 25 people ahead of me. Even with the crowd, my table was ready by 11:17am, which was impressive. I ordered the spicy miso, gyoza, and the volcano chicken karaage. The gyoza was great--just make sure to eat it while it's hot. The chicken karaage wasn't my favorite, but I also don't really like chicken in general, so take that with a grain of salt. For the meats, I ordered the beef toro and natural pork belly--both were absolutely delicious. The only downside was I found a small piece of plastic in my meat (probably from the packaging). It wasn't anything crazy, and the staff handled it really well. They comped my meal and double-checked the meat coming out after that. (A little bit of plastic in my food isn't going to keep me from continuing to eat here) The side bar was fully stocked and super fresh. I loved the udon noodles and bok choy. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can customize everything exactly the way you like it. Overall, a solid experience with great food and really responsive service.

This place has great service and yummy food! The wait time was pretty long when we put our name down but the wait was sooo worth it! I will definitely be back again when in the area!

I dinnered here on a Thursday night and boy it was cracking. For $29.99, you get a choice of 4 apps, 5 different broths, and 8 meat options. At the center of it all is a buffet stocked with an assortment of veggies, seafood, and a variety of noodles. If you're looking to get lit on delightfully colorful drinks, they serve them here too though not part of the AYCE menu. We tried 2 different broths. Sadly, the original house was lacking in flavor despite being stewed with dashi, kombu + secret blend of spices. I'd recommend ordering the spicy miso which wasn't so spicy, but very good otherwise. The meat variety is nice - you get to choose from. Broth doesn't inundate you with large quantities so you get a chance to try a little bit of everything. I personally liked the prime options better (prime blade meat + prime flat iron steak). The meat slices are more substantial and envelope the broth in its folds. The thing I loved most was the buffet where you get to choose your favorite hotpot sidekicks. You're not bogged down by 2 pounds of Napa cabbage and 3 pieces of broccoli. Even better are the noodle options. Instead of just the regular ole udon noodles, you can choose from glass, ramen, or egg noodles. If you like your shabu a little more specialized, maybe this place is not for you. However, I think if you like just the basics of shabu shabu - broth, veggies, meat - in large quantities, Broth is the place is for you.

I would say I come here a lot or when I'm in the mood for some hot pot, it's $20.99 for Lunch (11:30-3pm) and I believe $29.99 for Dinner. This place is very popular and gets waitlist a lot so on a busy day expect to wait between 30min-1hr. I would suggest joining the waitlist ahead of time before arriving. It's AYCE hot pot with appetizers and 8 choices of meat I believe? They have a self serve bar where you can get your fillings for your broth like your type of noodles, and toppings like rice cakes, cabbage, bean sprouts etc. it's a good selection followed by a sauce bar where you make your own sauce. The place is nice, it does get noisy with everyone inside and outside chatting, but the service here is really good. Unfortunate that I can't remember the name of the two men that helped my partner and I today because I didn't pay attention to their name tags but they were really good and the whole staff was just on top of it. Constantly taking our empty plates away, refilling broths, water, and checking up.

When visiting Southern California, this will often be my parents choice for family because of the unbeatable combination of value, options, and taste when it comes to a hot pot joint. While I think there might be a few spots that might hit higher marks in terms of quality of broth or meat, not many will offer AYCE nor the assortment of veggies, seafood, and sauces that Broth does at such an affordable rate for these harder economic times. Because of this affordability, Broth Shabu-Shabu almost always has a liine out the door, with expected waits around 30min-1 hour the 2-3 times we have gone. The lunch special all you can eat deal for $20 is pretty unmatched for hot pot and is part of why this spot is so popular. Definitely get on the Yelp waitlist right when doors open in order to get seated quickly. Inside is a pretty standard set-up, similar to a lot of kbbq places and while it is a large enough space, during lunch rush hour, there is a lot of bumping and shoving, especially exacerbated by the buffet get-it-yourself style for the veggies, seafood, and sauces. This is one of the major downsides of this restaurant: the times we have come there is a major lack of organization with waiters/staff having to dodge and weave around tons of little kids mixed with elderly adults in a chaotic mess. What's worse is that the floor was mopped before doors opened and multiple people were slipping and nearly falling over, which is a major hazard coupled with the hot soups coming out. On the bright side, ordering meats and appetizers was fairly easy and painless, with them offering up to 8 plates per round of meats (pork or beef are usually best) and it comes out very quickly. My parents especially loved having unlimited appetizers: potstickers and karaage. The meats are quite standard fare, with an assortment of soup broths to choose, from tonkotsu to miso, to their house broth; all of them have been pretty good choices. The assortment of veggies and seafood is expansive. I would often load up a plate of fish filets, seafood balls, shrimp, mussels/clams + a plate of veggies like bok choy, bean sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms + noodles like udon, ramen, rice noodles, etc. This diversity of options always leaves us very full and satisfied. Ultimately one of the best value hot pot places you can dine at!

Wonderful and yummy experience every time I come here!!! I do know my favorite spot to sit at is inside away from the kitchen area because that's where all the loud clanging of plates take place. Staff here are always very efficient in getting your meat orders or refilling broths. Buffet set-up with the vegetables and toppings for hotpot are always clean and well-stocked. I enjoy that recently they split the ramen noodle portions in half, rather than whole size, because one entire portion of noodles ends up being way too much so it's more manageable. I love the beef toro meat here the most!! Lunch prices are also really great and super worth it. Perfect for me when I need a meal to be full and feel rejuvenated after with a nice broth. Love also that you can waitlist through the app because it makes check-in very easy!!!

Absolutely love this place. I had their miso broth and it was delicious. They have a variety of selections for veggies and meat. Great quality meat! Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and took good care of us. It can get very busy so it's best to go first thing once they open. Joining the Yelp waitlist does help as well. Highly recommend!

Expect a two hour wait on the weekends, but you can plan ahead and join the waitlist in advance. You have to order the meats and the appetizers with your server. All the beefs, pork belly, and lamb were good. Appetizers are standard. The self-serve bar has a variety of seafood including blue crab, mussels, clam, fish, shrimp, squid. Also various vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, and noodles. Service was pretty attentive. Do keep in mind that they are strict with the 1.5 hour time limit. The booths are comfy - you can get seated sooner if you're okay with the bar. Overall a satisfying meal, especially on a cold rainy day!

This is honestly favorite place to come for ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SOUP The options of meat are great, the toppings/vegetable bar options are great, the service is normally great as well The service usually come around several times to ask if you want any more meat or broth. The flavors for the broth are great as well. If you love soup, this is the place to come! Especially on a cold rainy day It's usually crowded during dinner hours so expect a little wait.

My new favorite AYCE shabu place! I came here with my family and had such a great meal. I love the buffet set up for the veggies and other items to add to your broth. I just wished they had fish balls with roe or fish balls in general (not lobster and veggie ones). The meat selection was soooo good and I really enjoyed #1 and #6 off the dinner menu. Service was very attentive as well and quick. As for the broth, I chose sukiyaki and this was decent. It wasn't anything too crazy, and I was more focused on the meats anyways.

Its a place you are hoping to get the bang of your bucks. The meat slices are really really thin and the soup base tasted blend. This place is more fusion as a Korean interpretation of shabu rather a Japanese shabu place. We had to waitlist on Yelp for 90min on a random weekday. The restaurant is big with a buffet bar in the middle where they serve vegetables, noodles, and seafood for you to cook in the pot. Overall, I wouldn't come back but I can see how it's appealing for certain diners.

The broth was ok. They have a good selection of meat and veggies. The sauce bar is DIY as you would expect. Price is not bad either tho I'm from the bay so I'm not sure what the price range is down here, but for me it's at the right price.

Abundant thin cuts of tender and fatty beef all around! + In addition to the AYCE meats, they have a buffet bar to grab a variety of veggies and some additional protein. + Helpful, attentive, very nice staff. . Despite the ample seating, still a long wait during peak hours (weekend nights). - Wish they did online reservations. Have to join the waitlist in-person. - Outdoor seating: noisy ambience. Obnoxious cars revving their engines to the max as they rush by the dining area. Also service vehicles shining distracting bright yellow lights at night.

We came for AYCE shabu shabu on a Saturday night and joined the waitlist through Yelp. The app initially quoted 10-15 minutes, and while it took longer than expected, the time passed quickly with the busy weekend energy in the air. Once seated, the experience was smooth. You get the full 90-minute dining limit and they don't rush you--though with kiddos, I've never actually needed the full time. Once they're full, it's time to roll out. Service is steady, the broths are flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh. The kiddos picked this spot after a beach day, and it hit the spot perfectly. A lively atmosphere, fresh selections, and a relaxed pace make it worth a visit--just plan ahead on weekends to make the most of your evening.

First time here. We celebrated my cousins birthday. The fresh veggies buffet & seafood were fresh. However, my miso soup for my food pot was very bland. The service was good. Ambience is cool , especially since they play 90s music. Love loved it , as that's my era.

Great selection of meat, vegetables, broth, and many more! I wish they had a second sauce bar but their fresh market area made up for it and had lots of great choices. Our server was so nice and attentive.

The reviews speak for themselves as one of the better ayce shabu shabu spots, probably the best in Cerritos/Long Beach area forsure. Also, expect a long wait if you go at a popping time so make sure to hop on that Yelp waitlist. It goes by pretty fast! They have 5 different broths to choose from, House, Miso, Spicy Miso, Tonkatsu and Sukiyaki. I usually get the Miso or Sukiyaki which are great options, the miso is subtle and the sukiyaki is more sweet and savory. After you order you your broth, you can go to the toppings bar to add everything you want on a plate. Don't get too much or you might get too full lol. Then you can order your meats and your ready to go and your bucket of soup is good to go. Broth also has plenty of patio and outside seating, also a bar if you want some soju or beer. Great spot to substitute your Korean BBQ if you aren't feeling all that oil and decent pricing.

The reviews for this place did not let me downnnn. We had dinner here last Saturday as a party of 5 and we were told it was a 45min wait which we did not mind... The wait time went by fast and we were seated in a booth. The server gave us the rundown on how it all worked and made sure to make it clear to us that we only had 90 minutes. He was very friendly and upbeat. The buffet area had a good selection of veggies, seafood, and condiments and it was clean. We all grabbed a plate of each and began cooking our broths. I ordered the spicy miso and it was really good. It was very flavorful and had a nice subtle kick to it. I added a bunch of different veggies and sauces and mmm it was the best combination. Service was great throughout our 90min visit. I would so come again!

I actually love a strict time frame of how long a party can stay at an AYCE restaurant, because it helps wait times stay consistent. This restaurant is big and spacious (and yes! There are high chairs), with seating inside and outdoors (covered!), so it doesn't feel all chaotic. The vegetables and meat were all delicious and continuously were refilled, but dare I say it, my favorite part is making my sauces. Extra garlic? Yes, please. Did I regret it the next morning? Hahahahaaha

This is my favorite shabu spot! We had the lovely Donny as our server and it was funny to have him because he recognized my family and I because he served us before. It just tells me I come here too much haha. He was extremely friendly and always checking in on us to see where we're at and if we want more meat to order. Food is always delicious, but beware if it's your first time, that the wait times may be long. I think it's always worth it in the end. They currently have a watermelon breeze which is like a slushie and that was delicious, I would love to get that drink again. I would always recommend this place because of the price and food, I think it's all good.

This is my top recommended spot for people when they ask me where a food shabu spot is! service is top tier , it's always good vibe from the workers! They play great music. Theres so many workers and people willing to help you even if they aren't your server it's a team effort here. The wait times can get long so I recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp before going or checking the wait times. We came around 12 pm Saturday so it wasn't that packed yet but when we were leaving there was a wait out the door. Self serving station for sauces, noodles, and other things you'll enjoy in your soup. They have part of the all you can eat some chicken karaage and gyozas. Today I got the watermelon slush they have and it was so good !!

I've been here several times over the past few years. Broth is one of the restaurants that is responsible for my weight gain. They are an AYCE Shabu Shabu restaurant. You pick the broth. Appetizers and meats are ordered through your waiter/server. I always forget which is the best meat. I think we like flat iron steak. Vegetables, seafood, noodles and condiments are offered at the bar area for you to pick up yourself. I've had different servers and hosts greet me over the years, and they have all been fantastic. There is a 90 minute. I've never had any server last call me. I like them....yeah, they made me a fattie.

I love BROTH! It's a great value, especially during their lunch hours. What I like about BROTH's AYCE format is the availability to grab all of your veggies, sauces, and some proteins all by yourself. I like the variety the most, like whole eggs, quail eggs, potato glass noodles, different kinds of fish cakes, and more. The variety of sauces is also great. I love the fresh japanos, garlic, and green onions readily available. With my lunch AYCE, I got a pitcher of beer and a soju punch bowl. How fun!

Great atmosphere but service could be a bit better. Staff aren't checking in on you as much.

Celebrated sissy's birthday dinner. Got seated outside on a warm, summer Sunday evening but it worked out for our group of 9. It was congested inside since its serve yourself. Waited a good 30+ minutes after placing ourselves on the waitlist. An array of different seafood, Veggies & meats items to add. Staff is friendly esp Nathan; very helpful but had to flag down someone a couple times. Ample parking.

Not a bad spot at all, their dinner menu comes at a great price for a Shabu Shabu AYCE. The buffet area to put in your broth can get dirty sometimes and the sauce area is always dirty but the sides you can order tastes very good. Overall a good spot for it's price.

i usually avoid all-you-can-eat (AYCE) places because i have a sensitive stomach and worry that i won't get my money's worth, but that's not an issue here. they offer a wide variety of foods from their bar, different broth options, and a great selection of meats--everything we hoped for. the food was really good, and while it was a bit busy, that's to be expected on weekends. our server, mikayla (or "mikflurry," as she jokingly called herself), was super kind and attentive. she also had a great sense of humor, and i enjoyed that the staff had nicknames; it made the experience feel more personal. overall, i would definitely come back again.

Literally my favorite place in the whole world you can choose to sit indoor or outdoor. They have a wide variety of soju based drinks this a great place to come with friends and share a party bowl! They are always playing bops and the environment is cool. All the staff is pretty friendly and welcoming. As for the soup I always do spicy miso and enjoy their ayce apps. They have a good variety of items to put in your soup as well as a sauce bar. 10/10! I love coming here

I've had this place bookmarked for years. I've never had the chance to make it out until this weekend. However, I was disappointed in my experience. It started out great! I joined the waitlist and got there in time. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. I had changed my seating preference to outside seating and he was happy to accommodate! Where things went sour was when we sat down and met our server. She was very unwelcoming. I even considered asking for a different server. She seemed upset at the fact that we've never been here before and that she had to explain the menu. We never asked her to explain the menu, she just did so, but when she did, she made a deliberate attempt to not make eye contact and look away. She was reciting something she probably has done a hundred times and was just annoyed. This left a very sour taste in my mind, but we went on and ordered anyway. Meat selection and sides were all fine. I honestly have no complaints about food. Service the rest of the night was fine. No one came to pick up our dirty dishes until close to when we were done. We even placed them to the side. Our server only came to check in on us to order when she saw we had no food. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not worth being on my bookmarks for years, but I wouldn't be opposed to coming back. I like that they have outdoor seating tho!

LOVE THIS SHABU SPOT! Truly my fav one in OC and I always find myself back here. Food is great quality and is definitely one of the more affordable shabu places in OC these days. Love coming in for lunch special on the weekdays as it also tends to be less crowded Service is always quick and staff are friendly and attentive. Usually I don't have to wait that long for a table. Ambiance is nice, usually clean and lots of space available to sit, indoors and outdoors. Parking is also ample, usually no issues

Excellent dining experience! Yelp Waitlist is available so no wait when we arrived. Broth is flavorful and great selection of seafood such as crab as well vegetables and noodle at the buffet table for you to grab. Services is supreme and servers came by often to order meat. Have a lovely time and everything is clean despite being full of guests.

Food was okay -- not great, but not bad either. The customer service was great and the atmosphere was good. However, after waiting about half an hour, I expected more from the overall experience.

I had an awesome experience at this shabu-shabu spot thanks to our server, Donny. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. His meat was delectable and came just in time. I thoroughly enjoyed the cuts he recommended and took great care of us when we didn't know what to choose. He checked in just the right amount, made great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the meal. Exceptional service like his really elevates the whole dining experience. Parking is ample as well so you won't have issues with that. 10/10, would definitely enjoy his meat again, I'll definitely be coming back!

Oh my goodness! I could see why my friend instantly raved and wanted to show me this spot as we were in the area. There were a lot of people outside but the wait was seamless due to the waitlist check-in on the kiosk. You get a text once your table is ready. You even get the option to choose your preferred seating-- indoor, outdoor, or first come first serve. Sauce station was plentiful (and very safe for nut allergies-- no peanut at all, only sesame) and so delicious especially with the mix I made (ponzu, garlic, chili oil, green onions). The meats were good quality, cut thin, delicious and so so good! You order those from the server and then get the veggies and seafood and noodles from the buffet areas. It was crowded but with adjustment the meal was comforting and perfect especially in the cold. Servers were quick to follow up and ask if we needed anything-- BROTH refills (wow! usually places give only hot water), utensils etc. I found the broth to be rich in flavor and personally I loved the mix of miso soup and tonkotsu as tonkotsu by itself made the soup too salty. Overall was so impressed and would love to come back here again!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! We were seated at 8:26 pm and told we had an hour and a half seating time. By 9:12 pm, our server came over saying it was "last call." Confused, we checked Google and saw the closing time listed as 11:00 pm. When we asked why it was last call so early, she said it was because of the 1.5-hour limit. I told her it hadn't even been an hour yet, and she replied, "We tell you last call so you know it's almost up." Then, at 9:20 pm, she brought us the check even though our time wasn't up! We felt rushed, couldn't finish our food, and noticed people around us who were seated earlier still had their food and no checks. Quite the hot spot! When my husband and I arrived, the restaurant was busy with the perfect 'It's Friday night, it's Shabu night' Vibe. High energy filled with smiles and laughter. We were able to snag a seat at the stylish, 'lit' bar then a table. Libations of choice was Peach Sake that did NOT disappoint. BSS's 'all-you-can-eat' menu is top notch: Appetizer - we got mini battered chicken wings You can order up to 8 plates of meat - 4 perfectly sliced pieces My fav part - Veggie Bar!! One of my favorite things to eat is shabu-shabu! I've been hear a few time, and each time I come it is always just so good. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a large plaza. I went when there was no wait, but in the evening close to dinner time there is always a super long wait. I love how you are able to build your own dipping sauce. There are plenty of different sauces you can mix together to create a good or interesting/unique sauce. There are many different flavor combinations you could try out! The meat selection is quite limited, but all the meats are quite good. There a few selection of broths, and they are all good options! The veggies and other offering are also very good. The veggies are fresh, and there is plenty to choose from.

An absolute favorite of ours. My 7 year old daughter is unfortunately too tall for the kid's even though she eats like a bird but that's ok, lesson learned. Great service, good quality meats and self serve options. Indoor or outdoor the ambiance is great

Great spot for shabu! They have good options for meats, and the sides and sauces make it simple yet satisfying. We've been here a few times, and both times we were served by Damin. She's very attentive and genuinely kind. I work in hospitality myself, and I can tell when someone is authentic. The lighting is perfect (I hate bright spaces). I did try the outside seating once on a busy night and wasn't a fan, so I'll always stick to indoors, which has been great every time.

Had a great time at Broth! Everything was fresh, tasty, and atmosphere was great. The tonkatsu broth was flavorful, and the sauce bar had plenty of good choices. The most notable night was Ramil and my server Terra. Ramil was super welcoming from the moment we walked in. Super funny guy and had great energy. Terra explained the broths and didn't make me feel rushed, and had great recommendations based on what we liked. She made sure we always had what we needed, and checked in with perfect timing!

Broth Shabu in Cerritos has me in a chokehold, and Terra and Ramil are the reason why. Terra checked on us with the perfect balance of "I care about you" and "I know you're about to inhale that meat plate," which honestly felt very seen. Ramil was out here sprinting like an Olympic athlete every time we needed refills. I swear I blinked and he was already back with more broth. Both of them were so on top of everything it felt like we had VIP service without paying VIP prices. 10/10 experience, would let Terra and Ramil supervise my hot pot again.
