Brother Marcus - Review - London - The Infatuation

"If Brother Marcus gets too many more siblings there’ll be a Succession-worthy struggle for dominance. The Eastern Mediterranean restaurant already has four spots in Islington, Borough, Kensington, and Spitalfields. This latest arrival will be in Covent Garden. There’ll be a similar menu to the other locations, with a big focus on brunch as well as dishes like tomato stacks, koftas, and mezze plates. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Great location with a warm, inviting ambiance. We started with the toasted pita and baba ganoush—the crispy pita paired perfectly with the silky dip. The grilled halloumi was excellent, and the roasted chicken was tender and flavorful. The grilled kofta had a nice soft texture, though it was slightly dry. Overall, very enjoyable meal and clean facilities. Would happily return.

Can definitely agree with all the great reviews. Nice relaxing set up, although restaurant was full on a Sunday lunch time, we did not feel rushed and was served by a very pleasan Soniya. Soniya carefully explained ehich are the Gluten free options and gave good recommendations. Food is very tasty for wach of our dishes. We had the Gluten free Fried chicken, Shasuka with oita and Soniya has kindly offered and extra piece of super fresh Pita on the house. The Peach and Olive oil cake was divine. Its been a while I had good Gluten free cake. Highly recommend this place . Thanks Siniya for making this dining experience so pleasant.

Perfect spot for a brunch! Good location in town and spacious venue. We got there at about 130 so wasn’t too busy. The fried chicken rosti and sweet potato fritters were really nice.. Friendly staff however they weren’t too attentive and getting their attention was challenging sometimes despite not being too busy.

We were thoroughly impressed with Brother Marcus. Located between Seven Dials and Covent Garden, it couldn’t be better situated for anyone looking for a great brunch. The service was friendly, professional and efficient to take a large order with requests and bring out everything in good time. The food was very good quality and our veggie friend said there were plenty of great veggie options. Absolutely no complaints, everyone was very happy with Brother Marcus, it’s great food and great service.

Amazing brunch place with lots of Mediterranean options to die for, specially for all the non-veg eaters the fried chicken Rosti is a must try! Also lovely and warm pitas with flavourful hummus will be worth all your money . For desserts , I would definitely recommend the baklava sandwich which was a very nice balance of sweetness from the baklava and slightly salty with the pistachio ice cream in middle .

Great brunch spot in a fantastic location! Probably the best location you could ask for. The service is quite good — if they’re busy, you can leave your phone number, have a little wander, and they’ll call you when your table is ready, which is a brilliant idea. On the other hand, it sometimes feels like there aren’t quite enough staff inside; we were forgotten once and ended up paying at the bar after waiting a while for someone to bring the card machine. Marcus tea looks lovely and tastes great if you’re a fan of chamomile, and the smoothies are excellent. Portion sizes are fairly standard. The Eggs Benedict wasn’t bad, though the mustardy flavour isn’t typical and not really to my taste — but that’s just a matter of preference. The shakshuka, however, was very nice.

From booking the table to leaving the restaurant. I cannot fault the experience.Wonderful, attentive service. Really enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere from our terrace table upstairs. The team are well trained and knowledgeable and friendly too! The holy trinity in my opinion. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the pre show menu. Loved the rip and dip plate. Loved the roasted squash, crispy aubergine, kofta and harissaa chicken with herb salad mezze. Really tasty, fresh flavours and served quickly. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.

This was our second time back at this branch. We didn't have a booking but the staff here is very accommodative and we didn’t have to wait too long. Food was excellent just like the first time, especially the fried chicken rosti. Our waitress, Soniya was really attentive, pleasant and took the time to provide recommendations. Will be coming back again!
