The best food we had on our Spain trip! We did the tasting menu and everything was out of this world. Small restaurant with great wine selection. The chef was personable as well. Good prices- couldn’t believe it didn’t cost more. We couldn’t choose a favorite dish bc they were all so great!! Thank you!!

The best well kept secret of Priorat, there I said it. Never expected I’d have a last minute dinner at what looks like hole in the wall that turned out to be one of the best meals ever. Also, huge kudos to lovely Inka who was serving the meals. What a wonderful service. But again, the food is just unreal. Oxtail croquettes and the chef’s take on the classic Italian dish… mouthwatering. I’ll be dreaming about it forever. And can’t wait to go back. A must!

This is a true gem in a small village in Priorat. The chef and his staff were very welcoming. He greeted us when we arrived and explained the daily dishes. It may sound like hyperbole, but this could quite possibly be the best meal I've ever eaten. Food is the passion here, and it shows...in the presentation and the taste. Essentially everything is made in house. And the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. If you value delicious food. You must visit if nearby. But make reservations in advance or you will be disappointed as they are always full.

Amazing food and the chef is a delight!

A must visit when in the area. Quite the experience! Creative, humorous, flavourful, informative and the service-amazing. Great selection of wine and they use local seasonal ingredients in their menu. Recommend!

I’d like to start saying that I am aware that my review represents a 100% my food taste and so it’s totally personal. Me and my friends are all agree saying that the ambience, the chef, the staff and the treat were a 10. You can see that behind there’s a fine dining experience. The professionalism, the treat, the table setting, the petit four at the end and other details were really appreciated. We’d also liked that there were few tables and a direct contact with the chef. I couldn’t give a 5 stars due to personal opinion around some choices in the cooking style. In my personal opinion too much milk cream in all plates. Yes, it makes food tasty and connects flavors in a velvet way, but if it is the thread linking all the menu, for me it’s a bit too much. Also, as an Italian, I would never accept a mushrooms “risotto” made with milk cream to get the “mantecato” effect and overall served as base of a tuna steak. I gave it a try, to the “milky mushrooms risotto” and the “tuna-risotto” combo: it was a big no. It made me a bit sad because, again, the ambient, the staff… all the premises were so good but I can’t say that the food was at the same level. But, as said at the beginning, that’s 100% personal and in general I appreciate creativity and innovation in the kitchen. But please: no milk cream in risotto (or in the carbonara 😉)

We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon, but I would recommend calling in advance and making a reservation, especially for more popular hours. The food was excellent quality and amazing value. You would pay 3x this in a big city. What a great addition to a Priorat wine tour.

Drive through stunning country side and get spoilt. Forever. You will now be slightly dissatisfied with any other restaurant ❤️

An amazing experience, a truly phenomenal dinner. The chef is gastronomic wonder. Truly innovative and imagitive. The ambiance is warm and inviting. To not eat here when visiting the Priorat region is truly a sin.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We went there for lunch. It is definitely worth seeking out and off the beaten track. The manager of Marco Abella winery in Porerra suggested it and google maps took us right there. The owner is the chef and he is from Brussels. The food is art work and it is delicious. The owner and his assistant are extremely nice people. He was clearly proud of his two specials and I would highly recommend them. Although they have a pretty extensive menu as well. The Priorat wine was inexpensive and fabulous. In our five week trip across Europe this was our favorite. One of the complimentary appetizers is a very large and fresh olive, skewered by the tip of a little squeeze bulb of some kind of sweet local Spanish wine similar to a Madeira. The plate is a casting of the owner's hand! You eat the olive while simultaneously squeezing the shot of wine while chewing the olive. I know, sounds crazy, but it is indescribable. I eat a lot of things but I have never had anything like that in my life. Truly amazing place.
