Visiting Dallas for a conference at a nearby hotel, we spotted Brown Bag Provisions on the map and decided to take a quick walk along the Turtle Creek Trail and stop in for lunch. That was the best decision we could make. The gentleman at the counter was a great help to give us tips on his favorite menu items and was super knowledgeable.
I had The Charles (pastrami) sandwich and a side of wedge fries. The thick-cut pastrami was tender and rich, the melted swiss and whole grain mustard gave the perfect tangy accent and the horseradish pickles added a light kick that brought it all together. I'm planning to stop at least one more time before my trip is over. If you're in the area, make sure to stop in as well, you well love it!
