Food was absolutely BUSSN! I ordered the fish and chips which was nice and crispy along with some salmon that was flaky and juicy. Came all the way from MN to try their food and I was VERY IMPRESSED! 😋😋😋

I love Brown Bag Seafood but prices are a bit inflated on food apps. That being said, I jumped at the chance to grab some while downtown taking care of some business. The atmosphere is definitely buzzing due to the lunch hour so the line was a bit long but moved fast. I ordered the honey sriracha salmon dinner plate with greens and grains and some hush puppies. Outside of the great food I want to acknowledge how great my service was. I left a large envelope with some documents and letters related to work (I had just left court and my work PO Box). When I realized it and ran back in, they knew exactly why I was back in there and the young lady ran back in to get it. Please forgive me as I am horrible with names and I meant to right them down, but I do remember Shanti who I believe was at the register, and 2 other young ladies (one was shorter) that were in the front. In a world where great customer service is scarce, people like them make a good meal that much better. Thank you ladies for saving me a lot of stress and an extra trip downtown! I will definitely be back.

It seemed like a great quick lunch spot. I ordered shrimp bowl with miso cashew and it was really good. The amount was good enough to fill my stomach up. It would be a great spot if you love seafood! I didn’t have to wait for the food and food was made fast. I loved it!

Average for lunch value. First time ordering was a bit confusing at first, but overall easy to follow. Food portion is a bit small, it is alright for a quick lunch. Got the hot and crispy shrimp with greens and grains, truffle-parm tots, and ginger Arnold Palmer. Crispy shrimp has good flavor, but batter is on the thick side, a bit heavy and oily. Greens and grains mis is good and fresh. Truffle-parm tots is decent, truffle flavor is light. Summer seasonal drink is refreshing and worth trying.

Awesome experience. The fresh tea option are superb. The apple crisp ginger is great!

Great food court option. I arrived to Chicago and needed a quick dinner, circa 5pm, before getting some work done that night. Brown bag was what it promised: a healthy salmon fillet, great garlic bread and some truffle oil tossed tots. The 5pm dinner special is $15. And the value is very good. I recommend this option. And feel better that I picked this over Shake Shack nearby.

I've had lunch at this place many times. The food portions are average, but the prices are a bit high. Today, I ordered clam chowder, but it was lukewarm. Their French fries and sweet iced tea are good for quick bite.

I order from Brown Bag Seafood Company frequently and the food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently excellent. The staff is fantastic too, often adding small touches like smiley faces on the packaging or a candy inside, which always makes the meal feel extra thoughtful. Yesterday, I accidentally placed my order at the wrong location. When I went downstairs to pick it up, I realized my mistake. Instead of leaving me stranded or out $15, the staff immediately stepped in. They prepared my meal on the spot, free of charge, and even said they would call the other location to let them know I wouldn’t be picking it up. That kind of service—going above and beyond for a customer’s mistake—is rare. They not only make great food, but they take care of their customers. I’ll continue to look forward to my lunches here.

Came in for a snack at 5:30 on Thursday and got their happy hour shareables Food 5/5: got the green chile shrimps, fried shrimp and hush puppies and all 3 were fantastic. Started off with the chile shrimp only as a snack and it was so good I went back for the other 2 and they didn't disappoint Service and ambiance 4/5: it's a food hall situated in Willis tower. Pretty nice for a food hall, service was counter service so didn't seem fair to rate for that Value 4.5/5: good value while getting happy hour, 5$/dish. Would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby Overall 4.5/5: Good food for food hall at good price if you go for happy hour 3-6.

The food was clean and so tasty but the highlight of this place is the customer service. Charlie went above and beyond. Will totally recommend to friends and family.

I don't work in the loop anymore, so I'm jot as familiar with where to eat. Brown bag seafood is my go to quick eat place in the Willis Tower. They are an efficient machine that can churn out food for busy people without sacrifice in quality. There is always many great options here that you can eat.. tried the blackened fish sandwich. Was actually quite tasty and I was a really big fan of their steak fries. Sauce is always good there especially boss sauce. #seafood #quickeats #fasterfood #chicago

This location is inside the sears tower/willis. The food is always good a little on the pricey side $16 for my shrimp salad but then again in this economy..it's probably normal price.

This is my favorite lunch spot in the loop. The fish is always cooked perfectly. The service is friendly and quick. Lots of healthy options - veggies, seafood. I recommend the greens and grains bowl with teriyaki salmon. But if you are not in the mood for healthy, I recommend the tator tots. There is lots of seating around the food court that this place is in. Shout out to James and Charlie for always being helpful and super friendly.

Will, who works at the front counter is super knowledgeable, personable and friendly. I recommend the food and the service. Nice courtyard to sit at to enjoy beautiful sunny days yummy great food.

I stumbled across this place when I went inside Willis Tower looking for Shake Shack. I saw a lot of people eating this so figured I'll try something local instead. I ordered: grilled shrimp, greens & grain, and pineapple lime gingerade. I'm impressed by how many shrimp they gave. It was fresh and juicy too. The spices and grilling were spot on. Flavorful with nice charred bits. The greens and grain was smaller than I had hoped. It definitely left for more to crave. I forgot the greens come with broccoli which I'm not a fan of. Perhaps next time I'd go with grains only. I was intrigued by the concept of gingerade so ordered it. They just give you a cup to dispense yourself. I appreciate how they ask you whether you want ice. I didn't get any. Since I got the cup, I actually tried a sip of the black iced tea and sweet tea as well. I figured since they're all the same price, if I change my mind last minute they wouldn't mind. I like both the sweet and unsweetened tea. The unsweetened version had a nice deep flavor. The sweetened tea was refreshing without being overly sweet. I ended up still choosing the gingerade because it's rare to find gingerade and the ginger flavor was obvious without being too intense. Their sauce options are fun too. They ran out of tartar sauce so didn't get a chance to try that. Out of the ones I got, I like the ranch sauce the most and hot sauce second. Also cute they gave a Swedish fish candy.

Delightful lunch inside the Willis Tower on the first floor. I had salmon with greens and sweet potato's and it had great flavor. Portions were adequate. Service is super helpful and friendly.

Was just wandering around downtown Chicago while waiting between Amtrak trains and came across this BB Seafood in a food court. I love seafood, and they had a crispy cod dish on the menu, so I gave it a try. This was a good choice! The cod was fresh and cooked just right. The bed of veggies was an interesting mix.

Food preparation. Found hair in my food. While my food was switched out without question, the staff had a dead stair and no remorse nor empathy to apologize for the disgusting experience. I put 2 stars as the food (second round) itself was tasty and hair free. I would have appreciated a remorseful reaction. Oh well, maybe this is habit or expected.

I have eaten here a few times. It is always good. I have not had a bad experience yet. The shrimp has great flavor. Salmon is also good. The portions are generous for the price!!

The food is top tier for the price especially if you go around "golden hour". Customer service at the Willis Tower location is always A1.

First time I ate here I ordered blackened fish mixed veggie bowl and the portion size was fair and great. Went back a week later and portion size was much smaller and fish lacked flavor. This inconsistency is why I will not be back.

The food was ok. The portion size sucks. Ordered truffle tots and got 12 tots in a small cup with a few pieces of cheese and barely any truffle oil. All for $4. Such a rip off. The greens and grains with grilled salmon I ordered were oily. Service was okay. The seating is shared between other food vendors. Such a disappointment. Not worth the money.

I've worked in the Sears Tower(Willis Tower) building for 3 years now and Brown Bag has been my lunch of choice many times. It's nothing but exceptional. The team is extremely personable and very attentive. It's great to have a place to come, where your order is always remembered. Kudos to the managers there!

I will probably not come here again because of the poor food quality and quantity. Quality- I got the lobster roll with a side of tots. The lobster was over cooked and very rubbery. I also didn't get much flavor from the lobster, it was overpowered by the sauce and the bread was very soggy so it broke apart when I grabbed it. Quantity- I barely got any lobster on my roll, it was about 2 claws worth of meat. Instead they gave me too many cheap tots to make up for it. Price- not worth it for 30 bucks. You can get higher quality and quantity from red lobster Atmosphere- I like the atmosphere being in the sears tower food court. Service- it took them over 40 minutes to make the meal which is unacceptable.

Love this spot. It's ways been so fast and delicious. And the new menu options are a fantastic addition.

I did a mobile order for pick up and arrived at this location when I realized I ordered my food to a different Brown Bag on accident. The team was nice enough to make my food on site with no hesitation! My food was done in a minute and it was much appreciated!

Popped in at this location a few months since it's close by my office. I had ordered the lobster roll at the other locations, so I opted for the salmon with quinoa and mixed green veggies. That has since become a favorite. Usually, once a month I will drop by for lunch and they always hit the mark. Nothing gets served up immediately after ordering, which speaks to cooking to order. I have yet to approach the counter and was met with bad service. And being mostly pescatarian, the salmon with quinoa and mixed green vegetable has become my go-to order. It's definitely a healthy lunch option and one with flavor.

Great service every time I come to this location. One of my favorite places to eat the food is awesome. I love it.

Good lunch place to get fresh fish prepared right after you order. Our family of 6 stopped by Brown Bag Seafood Co at Willis Tower on June 30, 2022. This is a small lunch place and we chose it based on reviews. The food was fresh and tasty. We saw how it was prepared after we placed the order. The portions are medium. The food is served on paper baskets and you order at the counter and then pick it and sit in the lobby. Fast-food style service, not really a restaurant. The ordering process was also interesting as you just circle you choices with a marker on and individual menu. Great idea! However, even with this method some small items like sides and extra sauces were not entered right and had to be re-done after order was complete. Appetizers: Truffle-Parm Tots - good Mains: Fish & Chips - good Salmon with greens on the side - good Sesame tuna - pass. Quite small portion even though I got "large". The sesame sauce was on the side. Daily Catch with greens and grains on the side - good. Overall, good place to grab some freshly made fish for lunch if you are around. Somehow based on the reviews we expected more.

The lobster roll is top tier! The warm lobster roll is my go-to since it is high quality, but the premium customer service is the perfect garnish to the dining experience. Johnny + Shay take care of you. Great portion sizes and options for the family. 10/10

We're ecstatic that this food hall is finally opening up! There are still plenty of ongoing construction and seating is rather limited, but the staff have been helpful in directing people and there are at least three places to choose from for a quick weekend lunch. At Brown Bag Seafood, we tried the daily catch (barramundi) power box and fish and chips. My original intention was to have the barramundi with vegetables but the mister decided to go all healthy to counter the fish and chips. I am generally not a huge fan of brown rice and quinoa but this time around, I thought they were a nice balance to the barramundi. My first choice for the afternoon goes to the fish and chips though. The fish came in thick and perfectly fried filet over a bed of chunky and well-seasoned chips.

Nicest employees of all time. I absolutely love this place, food always comes out fast and perfectly made to order. Definitely stop in if you're in the area!

A while back i ordered my dinner to go for work but i never forgot my experience. I arrived really early so they told me there was a bit of a wait but i didn't mind, the employee Phillip was super friendly. He even chatted me up about my day & theirs. While he and his manager were talking to me they were kind enough to leave me 'a little extra something' for the wait in my bag. They included some crispy delicious fries with my crispy cod veggie box and an extra sauce to try! oh my god it was so good and just what i needed after my rough day but their friendliness was the real reason I will be coming back for lunch more often!!

Brown Bag is a solid lunch option in the new Willis Tower food court. The line can sometimes be long, but it moves pretty quickly. I'm always really impressed with how good the fish is for a fast food restaurant. My one complaint is that for the price, I would hope for a bigger piece of fish. Overall - I recommend!

Wow, I don't remember brown bag seafood being this good (last time I reviewed one it was a 3 star experience). I ordered online and got the half grains half salad white fish box to go. For $12, this was a steal! It's usually very difficult to get grilled fish (not fried which is always cheaper for some reason). There was some sort of garlic-lemon seasoning over everything and it was very flavorful. Not to mention the size of the filet was huge! Online pick up took 10 seconds in and out. I would definitely come here again!

Lol, i start with this because i almost had a disaster happen when i was there. My high school buddy lives in the area, we initially tried a greek spot, but that place was busy. I wasn't too hungry, so we dropped in and got a couple of drinks. The Margarita i had was way too sweet, he ordered some lobster rolls. So, as i was leaving say 50 ft from the restaurant, I realized i didnt have my wallet. Ensuring panic, how was i going to fly back. So, i frantically head back to the restaurant, front desk didnt have it, place i sat it wasnt there. Cashier, and all the servers came out to help me look for it, luckily i spotted it in the corner mulch from where i sat, it had fallen from my pocket somehow. I did appreciate the workers coming out to help me out. High points for that.

I really want to love this place. I waited all pandemic to try this food and I was not happy. Very bland food. My fish was a little over cooked with no seasoning at all. The fries needed a little salt but ok, the coldslaw was not eatable (maybe I was supposed to put the vinegar in myself) not sure and the sweet tea...my lord was it sweet. Over all the price. I know this is Downtown Chicago but I paid $19.54 for two not so good prices of fish, fries and a very sweet drink. I will not be going back.

Great place for a quick lunch after going to the SkyDeck. I got the crispy shrimp sandwich and the Mrs. got the fried cod on a salad. It was very tasty and made fast but fresh. The cashier was really nice too. There was the general seating area for all the restaurants in the area which is where we sat. I enjoyed the architecture too!

Working in the Wills Tower, this is my first choice for lunch. Great, fresh food, healthy choices, and a very helpful staff. The fish and chips or crispy shrimp and parm tots with ginger-ade it's my favorite so far. The salmon is next on my list.

Lunchtime in the loop Willis tower has kicked up its lunchtime game. The food hall has a lot of options so I decided to try them...Brown Bag Seafood was my first stop. Brown Bag Seafood Coming here you grab a laminated sheet and marker and check off what you want so it feels very cafeteria-esque which is fine for the food hall. The line moved fairly fast and you can see all of the fresh seafood cooking (that was a plus). The cashier was friendly and took the time to answer my questions even with the line behind me (I kept it moving!). I ordered the fried shrimp power box and then the grilled shrimp lunch plate with quinoa, lime cilantro slaw and buffalo tots. First, everything was not just good but genuinely delicious. Here's the breakdown: Lime cilantro slaw was a little too citrusy. Again, it was good but a little too much for me. Buffalo tots, all I can say is I should have ordered two orders. Very good, good flavor. They are small tots but they give you a good portion. Fried shrimp power box was good. I only tasted a section but the ingredients were almost the same for that and the lunch plate. The quinoa is very delicious and multicolored. It is a perfect compliment to the grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp were cooked well, not over and not under. I went with the plate to get more protein and two sides. This seems like a great deal. The cost was a little more than what I would pay every day for lunch (I think I would typically stay $10 - $12 and this was closer to $15 - $18), but absolutely worth the money spent. I would recommend checking this place out. I was not disappointed!

Made a health conscious decision of eating here after a week of junk. So glad I did!! Ordered the grilled salmon salad w/ lemon vinaigrette. SOOO good. A nice big CHUNK of salmon which really surprised me. Hard to find a place that doesn't give cheap portions of salmon. The vinaigrette though was one of the best I've ever had. Please sell bottles of this!!! they ran out chowder after I ordered it. The lady was kind enough to give me two truffle tots instead. They were good, but deep down I still wanted chowder. I know they're not whipping that up in that kitchen tho.... Is there no microwave? I know it comes out of a bag there's no secret there. I'll be back tho
