I’d been craving a lobster roll and
I had a hard time finding one. While fancy places often have them, finding one on the menu at a more casual spot is rare. Luckily, I found street parking in the Gold Coast area and decided to try this restaurant.
The small restaurant had a clean and well-thought-out layout. Although the lobster roll was $34, I couldn’t resist ordering it—and I’m so glad I did!
The beverage I also ordered was that
Ginger lemonade was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with a refreshing finish, ideal for a hot day. The lobster roll came in a brown to-go box, packed with thick, juicy chunks of lobster nestled in a buttery, moist, toasted bun. Instead of the usual French fries, it came with crispy fried tots topped with fresh shredded Parmesan cheese—a delightful twist!
Everything was crafted with care and attention to detail, which I believe was worth paying $34. They seem to have several locations in Chicago, but I’d love to see them open one in the suburbs. And if they do, I hope they keep this incredible food quality.
That’s what made the experience so special!
