A most excellent service by the lovely lady Kim, who attends gracefully and courteously to every customer. She is truly the best. Attends to customer wishes in a manner rarely experienced. The food is excellent; if you haven't enjoyed Jamaican food before, this is where to go. If you have, then you'll agree.

A great selection of dishes. Everyone was pleased with their choices. The front of house woman was friendly and efficient. We had a big order, and everything was correct and everyone had a good portion of food.

A very decent Caribbean Restaurant that is very Jamaica focus. The food is sometimes hit and miss, but not in a bad way. There are times like in the oxtail where it could have done with an extra hour so it could fall off the bone and other times it is perfect. In both cases the taste was excellent. I wanted a roti the other day but they were out. Unfortunately the sign was still up. The food is good. The restaurant is very clean and the staff extremely friendly, even to apologise if your order was not quite right, which is rare. If you are missing that taste of Jamaica, like guiness punch, they have it. I even got some peanut punch, but it was too rich for me, so I diluted it. They do takeaway so normally a stop when I have that urge after work. Would gladly recommend this restaurant, as I have had some good food here. The cost of a meal is very reasonable.

The foundation of any business, is good service! This company is lacking in that quality to the highest degree. I visited this establishment last night and ordered 3x meals, 2x rice & peas, one hard food along with some snacks costing almost £40. On ordering the young lady serving me asked if I’d like Cole slaw and salad with them, I said yes and opted for 2salads on the rice, coleslaw on the hard food. On receiving the bags I asked if the slaw and salad were also in the bag and was told yes. I live in Suffolk over an hours drive away from this restaurant. I had a very busy day yesterday this happened 15 minutes before the store closed, and I arrived home after 10pm hungry. Imagine my surprise when I opened the containers to find they put the coleslaw and salads on top of the hot food which meant wilted salad and warm coleslaw with a milky warm gravy. It tasted disgusting! I tried to eat it as it cost so much but I only managed the fish and some of the main meal. As you can see from the photo. What’s left went into the bin. I was very annoyed! Today I called up to lodge a complaint and spoke to one of the managers who identified herself as Miss Perkins, while trying to explain what happened I was rudely cut off mid sentence and told, did the young lady offer you salads, “well you got what you ordered!“ “If you wanted it in a separated container you should have said!” Thing is in 25 years of buying food I have never had anyone serve salad in the hot styrofoam container, normally it’s separate. I was then told I got what I paid for and there nothing she can do for me to which I replied I’m sorry but this is equal to me taking £40 and throwing it into the bin. Her reply to this was she will notify their head office and get back to me when she can, but it won’t be today. My problem with this is the tone that was taken on the phone call. Which was as if they didn’t care and at one point I was actually told I should have known it was served like that and if I didn’t want it in there I should have know. Sadly my mind reading super powers weren’t working yesterday neither were the signs they have up in the building notifying customers of their procedures. I can safely say I will never eat at another Brown Eagle Resturant as a result of the bad service and even worse customer service.

Lately the shop is slacking I don't know if its too hot and staff are becoming confused something is not right I'm not even enjoying my food its coming completely dry without no juice its like eating rice and mash potatoes/ or dry porridge, wasted my money twice not happy whoever decided on using cardboard containers for food clearly has lost it, there was nothing wrong with previous plastic containers all was good not that my service matters but come on definitely staying away for now sorry money don't grow on trees. Couldn't eat all just too dry completely dry even when I put on a plate no difference SMH so disappointed as this was my favourite place of food.

I do not recommend this restaurant. There is only one staff member handling everything—cooking, service, and more—and their attitude is incredibly rude. They are especially disrespectful to delivery drivers, who are just trying to do their jobs. Fortunately, drivers can easily cancel and order elsewhere, but this person will still be stuck in their bitterness. There’s no passion or care in the food, just negativity. If hospitality isn’t for you, maybe it’s time for a different career. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with terrible service and bad energy.

I ordered today 28/3/25 some goat soup to my surprise it's not even goat soup I got but chicken. I'm very disappointed, the soup only had one little piece of chicken what and insult the lady sound like she had the world on her back, so it wasn't just an uber eats problem I had. Horrible, I feel gutted and cheated. Never me again. And now when I'm calling the phone just hangs up. 2 ×@ £13:98

Takeaway Order via Deliveroo - August 2019 Unfortunately really disappointed order. Pros Probably the quickest Caribbean deliver i’ve ever received Cons Food was not good at all (photos to prove)😡 That dumpling was horrible Plantain was greasy and barely cooked - i swear my nephew can make better🤦🏿‍♂️ Mac and cheese Carrot and banana cake were not good at all- dry. Coleslaw was decent but way too sweet Never want to leave such a bad review for a local business like this in the borough but was left with no choice
