Looked up the best place for coffee in Mount Pleasant and this place popped up as #1. There was easy access to the shop and it has a walk up window with only outdoor seating. The service was quick and the prices were consistent with other shops we’ve visited. I got a latte and the drink tasted watered down. My husband got a drip coffee and he said the same about his. The coffee wasn’t strong enough for our taste but I would definitely recommend that everyone make a stop here because you may absolutely love the coffee. The pastries looked yummy and the staff was very nice!

I loved this little walk-up coffee stand! We went here before heading to a nearby beach, and it was a perfect stop. I had an iced raspberry white mocha, it was very sweet but I really enjoyed it. There was a moderately long line for a Saturday morning but it moved quickly. There’s only outdoor seating, but plenty of it. I appreciated the barista recommendations on the signage!

Unassuming coffee chop with a cozy atmosphere, we were in town for a bachelor party and needed a little pick-me-up and I'm glad we found this place. Long line on a Saturday morning and for good reason, the coffee is great! Loved the sign with all of the baristas favorite drinks, this is a great way to get people to try new things. Cold brew was excellent. Overall 10/10

I stopped in here on my way to the beach while on vacation and can pleasantly say that I LOVED their coffee and can't wait to visit again! I ordered a sugar free vanilla latte and it was great!

Brown Fox Coffee is a hot spot for coffee lovers! With its coastal vibe and outdoor-only seating, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. The staff are friendly, patient, and clearly take pride in their craft. The simple menu makes it easy to choose your favorite drink, and there are snacks available if you’re hungry. If you like sweeter coffee, be sure to mention it when ordering, as they keep the flavoring subtle and don’t go overboard with sweetness. We waited about 20 minutes for two coffees, so while the wait reflects their popularity, it might not be the best option if you’re short on time. However, if you’ve got the patience, the quality and vibe are totally worth it. Highly recommend!

I wanted to love Brown fox, this was my second time having their coffee and I ended up tossing my expensive latte. My friend had a hot oat milk latte and I had a maple pecan brown sugar latte iced with whole milk. Neither of us loved our versions of the same flavoring. The coffee is very acidic and was not drinkable to me. The staff was sweet and very friendly. I feel so bad…. I hope to support them in different capacity being a local coffee spot. I love that they have gf pop ups!

Such a cute little shop, perfect for beginning any road trip. Coffee was delicious (I got the raspberry white mocha half sweet), and I also got a cheddar bacon pastry that was so amazing. I had a wonderful time here with my friends and would totally reccomend.

One turn off Coleman Blvd and you’ll discover a cozy patio, tasty drinks, and friendly staff. Highly recommend for your next pick-me-up or continue reading the next chapter of your favorite book.

This is one of the cutest local coffee shops in Mt. P. This was my first visit here for a first date and had a great time! I ordered the Iced Americano and it was perfect! The batista was very helpful and friendly. Excellent customer service. I will be back again.

love this cute little neighborhood place. Quality is amazing, always have new seasonal specials, service is friendly and quick it is a walk up outdoor counter with a few outdoor picnic tables, also have dog treats for the puppers can get a little crowded esp during the summer or on the weekends but normally moves fast. Also their smoothies are super fresh and truly taste like the fruit not artificial

Was looking for a coffee shop to do some work at, and Brown Fox had the best reviews! There was a crowd of people ordering and waiting for their drinks, which was a good sign. The line went by pretty quick, and I got the Mexican Fox Mocha, which was pretty good! It was definitely a bit of a wait for the drink, but thats ok, I don't mind. I wish there was a tad more seating, but luckily a seat opened up while I was waiting so I could enjoy the weather while knocking out some emails. Definitely would recommend this place!

Outdoor coffee place in Mt. Pleasant. Fantastic tasting coffee, and they've got many specialty/seasonal drinks to try on the menu. Service was prompt and friendly. There's plenty of seating outside, some in the shade, some in the sun depending on your preference :)

I've been wanting to try this place forever and finally did on the first pretty day of spring. I ran the bridge and then treated myself with a DELICIOUS iced foxy chai latte. It's different than any other chai I've ever had and in the best way. It's got a little extra something in the flavoring and I cannot get enough! The hot drip coffee was also great. The outdoor seating area is cute and perfect for after a walk or hanging out with your dog. There is no inside or indoor seating area. I wish they were open on Sunday because I always try to go but I know everyone needs a day off. I already can't wait to go back!!

This place is so cute and the staff is so friendly! It's a completely outdoor coffee shop and they have a free parking lot to park in which is a plus. I am obsessed with the dirty iced chai and it's a go to spot when I'm in the area

The coffee is great! From Seattle and needed something just as good. Went to another place nearby but wasn't as good. But Brown Fox, Mexican fox iced and the Biz. So good! Great coffee and coffee snobs are satisfied!

This place is fantastic! The coffee was incredible and they had such a different type of menu in the best way possible! They had a bunch of fall flavored drinks and a couple caught my eye. A maple americano? I have never seen a flavored americano. Let me tell you they did this to perfect. The ratio of flavor was absolutely perfect it was not too sweet and it just meshed perfectly together. There is no inside but it has a very cute outside and great place to sit and relax. The line was huge but we got our coffee in a short amount of time. They are just doing things right here. Parking can be hard to find sometimes but nothing to complain about!

I wanted to like this place and even went there three times during my vacation to Charleston, but it just didn't work for me. My biggest issue is that the wait times are insane. One time I ordered a vanilla latte it took a real 30 minutes to get my coffee. It can get very busy during prime coffee drinking hours and it seemed they only had one person making the coffees. The lattes I got (caramel and vanilla) were just not that good either. I liked how many speciality syrups they had and the fact that they had oat and coconut milk but the end result is just disappointing. The third time I went I got a medium roast drip coffee and there was no wait time and it tasted pretty darn good. So go with the drip option if you go.

Always good coffee! Packed! Oat milk is .35 and SBUX is $1.00! Go figure! Great service and location!

This is a cute specialty coffee spot. It is right by Shem Creek and some other restaurants. Employees are always super nice. Bring your own cup and they will use it so you don't have to create waste. They have about picnic tables outside the coffee shop, but there is no indoor seating. I'll stop here and then walk to nearby restaurants for breakfast or brunch.

I absolutely loved this place it had some seriously good coffee that was hot and it barely took any time to come out in the first place! The workers here were nice to us and were smiling the whole time, you could tell that they enjoyed their job and their customers. The outdoor seating was super comfortable and cute and to top it all off it even had a cool umbrella! I would definitely recommend this place for a delicious and fast cup of coffee.

Lovely outdoor coffee shop to go to on a nice, breezy summer day! To start off, there are only outdoor seating at the moment. Not quite sure if/when they will have indoor seating available. Luckily, the weather deemed perfect to have a nice cup of iced coffee to drink outdoors! Plenty of seats with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. I ordered their specialty drink: The Biz. It's an Americano with hazelnut syrup, 5 shots of espresso, and cream. Although I typically like my Americano unsweetened, this had the right amount of sweetness for myself. This was the perfect boost for the rest of my afternoon. There's also a cute jewelry shop right next door that you should check out as well! Brown Fox Coffee is the perfect quick stop coffee shop!

Overall: Dang good coffee, we'll be back for sure! The good: The coffee is really tasty and the price is justified as a result. Some of the best coffee I've had locally. Essentially no lines when we got there around 9AM on a weekday, and service was fast and friendly. Free (strong) WiFi and a decent amount of outdoor seating. Pastries were also great, my wife and I split a blueberry scone (actualy blueberries) and bacon/egg/cheese biscuit. Both were fresh and tasted delicious, and weren't dried out at all. The not-so-good: Chairs aren't padded, so they got uncomfiortable after awhile. Food/drink: 9.5/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 10/10

Pet friendly which was a plus for us ! My bf got the biz coffee which was really good and I got a mango smoothie we came back three more times in the mornings it was so good . Great place to stop by relax outside grab a drink . They also have muffins and quick bfast snacks . Great place the people working are always so nice and sweet .

Brown Fox, you have my heart. I love the taste of their coffee/espresso! I was a barista in college which started my coffee addiction, but it also made me extremely particular about the taste and ratio of my lattes. I got to say, Brown Fox might be my favorite in Charleston. My favorite drink is The Biz! It is strong and tasty! I also like the vibe on a nice day. It is all outside, so you walk up to the ordering counter, get your drink and wait at the benches. Order ahead if you want to simply grab and go!

I stopped here for coffee when on Sullivan Island. We had no issue with parking. The exterior is decorated in such a fun way. There was outdoor seating and it was the perfect day to sit outside. I got a dirty chai and it was the perfect blend of coffee and spice! The prices were good too!

Cute little coffee stand with plenty of parking and lots of outdoor seating. My husband got a nice hot coffee with lots of flavor and fragrant aroma. They have a nice friendly staff and lots of choices of beverages and pastries. This is such a nice break from the chain coffee houses (which there's nothing wrong with) by spending money at a cute local business. Check it out if you are in the area.

It was pretty when I went around 10 am on a Thursday. I did not wait long to get my coffee however. The service was fast and they staffed enough people to deal with the rush of people. There were a lot of flavors to choose from so I asked what the specials were. They still had fall flavors so I went with the gingerbread latte. I like that they offered Oatmilk. The coffee was smooth, not too hot, and sweetened well. I really like the machine they use. I want to ask about it next visit!

Stopped by around 8am on a Friday. Staff was friendly and everyone was hustling to take care of the customers. Only seating is outside which was great as it is a nice morning. Only a few pastries to choose from. Coffee was good but beware that there is a school across the street so traffic is tough coming out of here

Some of the best coffee I've ever had, hands down! My husband and I stumbled on this adorable spot while staying in the area for an anniversary, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We ordered The Biz and an iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte, and both were amazing. We also were there on a Saturday morning, and they had live music and a great little hangout spot outside. If you're staying in Charleston for a weekend getaway, we suggest this location over anything downtown! It is absolutely the best coffee spot in the area.

Hands down best coffee I've ever had!!!!! Their Cold Brew was so refreshing, and they put the PERFECT amount of cream in it. I also added vanilla, and it was subtle. I would get it every day if I could! I tried my sister's Dirty Foxy Chai and WOW- best chai I've ever had! This place deserves all the stars and then some! My parents loved their hot coffees; my dad got the dark roast and my mom got the medium. I saw the many five-star reviews here, so my family figured it was a must to try! We were NOT DISAPPOINTED! First, the outside is so cute! It's a walk-up counter, and they have their own parking. Second, the employees were some of the nicest girls ever! They even gave us dinner recommendations. It's a woman-owned shop, and she's a local! Her best friend owns the jewelry store connected to it. I love the local feel of the two places! They're so warm and inviting! This coffee shop will go on my list of "BEST EVER"!

Easy parking. Cute little shop. No indoor seating. Super speedy service despite being busy. Vanilla bean iced latte wasn't great. Too sweet. The oat milk they used in it tasted great, though. Plain iced coffee tasted very coconutty... delicious for sure, just did not taste like a black coffee!

Best coffee in the area, by far. My go-to is the foxy chai. Highly recommend. Have also tried their iced mocha and the biz - both of which were great. The bacon cheddar biscuit is also pretty good. Crave the iced chai in California and make a point to come back to Brown Fox every summer while in town.

BEST COFFEE EVER!! I went to SC for a bachelorette trip and we were looking up coffee shops near us. The shop is a cute little place with outdoor seating! The coffee is very nutty, creamy, and yummy!! On the last day of our trip, we all got a bag of coffee beans to take home! Must try coffee place in the area.

The perfect local coffee shop! I got their fall house cold brew and it was divine-- and I will definitely turn my nose up to poor tasting coffee so that is saying something. I definitely regret adding the cream but old habits die hard. The blueberry scone was perfect and their outdoor seating is great. I believe one of the owners served me and to me that makes a place all the more special. Definitely give this place a go if you're in the Charleston/ Mount Pleasant area

Local coffee shop in Mount Pleasant. My friends rave about this cafe and their flavored coffee. So unique and delicious. Definitely a great treat for coffee lovers! I love myself a good latte so decided to try their specialty which is a Mexican Fox. This is pretty much a dark mocha with a "kick" I appreciate the kick, kinda like a cayenne taste to it. I can see that it might not be for everyone. Overall their coffee speaks for itself. If you're in the area, you won't be disappointed

We love this place! I typically grab a Vanilla Bean Hazelnut Latte and my husband gets "The Biz." Both are fantastic! Then we take our coffee and walk the bridge. A perfect morning treat.

Coffee drinks (hot oat milk latte and an iced latte) were very good, but not specialty-level good like you'll find at Second State Coffee in downtown Charleston. I tried to go to nearby Vintage Coffee, but couldn't get there before it closed at 3 pm.

Kinda disappointed today. I generally love this place but today was just not good. My Mexican fox was great but my friend made the mistake of ordering iced coffee. It tasted very sweet. When I asked about it was told it's pecan roasted coffee. Yuk. Although they eventually made something marginally better it was only after delivering a huge side of condescension. They charged for the replacement. When I was leaving and didn't want to put a full beverage in their trash, once again short answered condescension was on the menu. Bad day??

One of our most favorite locally owned coffee shops. Still cranking out great tasting coffee drinks with creatively inspired variations. These folks work their butts off ans provide quick friendly personalized attention even when busy and the line extends down the street. While they offer pastires daily, On Saturdays it is often complimented by a local food vendor as well. During the week you can often order ahead using the Coffe pass app if theyare not too slammed. Check it out! They may even offer your dog a "cookie"!

Just passing through and found this amazing coffee shop. Outdoor seating only, but it was a beautiful day to enjoy their Foxy Iced Coffee! Such a great flavor, especially if you like pecans! My husband ordered the Mexican Fox Mocha, a little too sweet for him (& he ordered half the syrup), but nonetheless delicious!
