Columbia and it's old town charm bleeds into every business on Main St and that's just as true at Brown's Coffee House. From the sign hanging out front, to the decor inside, and even the clothing the staff was wearing, the theme was evident.
I hadn't visited Columbia since I was on a field trip in elementary school so when I got the opportunity to visit again, I was all about it. The first thing I needed before exploring was a coffee, because let's be honest, I was hungover. Brown's came to my rescue and put the extra pep in my step that I needed. I ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte and it was creamy and delicious. The gentleman barista of the day was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. One of them being, pecan milk?! I'm a vegetarian so I'm here for the alternative milk options, but that was one I had never heard of before. Pretty cool to see it.
I have to imagine if you live in the area you know about this place and have likely been here before, so I'm primarily speaking to those that come from out of town... come visit Brown's. If not for a coffee, than one of their other offerings like ice cream, a baked good, sandwich, or even things like honey to take home with you.
