My garden club group came for light lunch and cookie baking class. We had a delightful time and even though us senior ladies had been baking for years, I learned a few things. We also taste tested different olive oils Our baking instructor did a great job and the cookies were delicious and the fancy lemonade too. The store has a wonderful selection of kitchen and Hostess Hostess

Absolutely fantastic store. Had everything I came in for and more. Incredibly friendly staff, helped me learn how to take care of my equipment properly unprompted! They have multiple cooking classes a week that I am certainly going to check out.

So happy I stopped in! What a great store - staff are helpful! Using my new baker!! The bread bags are wonderful and extend the life of bread!! Addicted to the fig balsamic vinegar- use it on all sorts of salads...and the Meyer lemon white balsamic vinegar on tuna salad. A+ for the cookbook exchange - I have a stack I'm donating! 👩‍🍳😎

I attended a cooking class this evening. It was such a good experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Chef Fe was great and very entertaining. The birria tacos the chips and queso and the brownies were all so so good. I can't wait to try these recipes at home. If you haven't attend a cooking class you've missed out. The added plus was shopping which I always enjoy at Browns. Thank you for offering such a fun time and allowing me to learn something new.

I love Browns! Beautiful products for every cooking/baking need. The store is beautiful, the staff helpful and delightful. But the very best thing are the classes. I take them whenever I can. Great recent classes on cheesecake, GF, cookie decorating and sushi! Browns is the best! Check it out if you love food!!!

Have you tried the classes at Browns Kitchen yet?? Went to the Pork and Pinot Wine Class taught by the amazing and super creative sommelier Velva...her wine classes are full of tasty pairings, pro tips, wit, and so much fun. Tallahassee gem! 🍾🍾🧀🧀

Brown’s Kitchen is always a delight to visit! Their store atmosphere and selection is the best of any kitchen store I’ve visited, and their staff is so friendly and helpful. Their classes are also fantastic! If you get the chance to take a class there, do it!

What a wonderful morning attending the Charcuterie Board demo with Chef CeCe. Attended with my daughter and a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Learned so much and eating the delicious food was a bonus. Accompanied with mimosas was also includes. The store is filled with wonderful buys and sweet ladies to help. Got so many ideas for Christmas purchases. Looking forward to attending another class soon. Well worth the money. Chef CeCe did not skimp on quality. I can’t wait to make my first board. This is what she made. Art!!

Yelp
If I could pick a cooking and kitchen accessory store that has just about everything this would be the place. We were immediately greeted when entered store and had the pleasure of meeting Chris who walked us through their huge assortment of specialty infused basalmics and olive oils .We loved the stories about how they allow for tastings and Chris even let me take a few samples home since I didn't want to try the open samples .Chris explained some pairings and they have recipe cards to give you some extra ideas on meals. I love to pick up bread from restaurants we frequent and these make great oils for dipping. We went with a fig basalmic and a store fave.the peach basalmic.Chris used a heat gun to seal our bottles and wrapped our bottles so they would have a safe transport since we were traveling 700 + miles home .I really appreciate the extra details . We walked around and found several other cool things that needed for the home including silicon bowl toppers and steel measuring cups for my mom. She wanted some and was happy to find them there. Highly recommend this store if go to Tallahassee. They have been around since 1999 .They have high quality items and amazing customer service.

Yelp
They are still the best place to go for the home cook and in these pandemic times they can use our support. If you get on their email list you will get info on their sales and their classes. They recently clearanced their restaurant supply side of their business and now concentrate on the home cook. I think their prices are competitive enough with the national chain stores and the quality is there. I can spend a good bit of time here wandering the aisles and looking at all the cool kitchen stuff and their are quite a few of their products getting regular use in my kitchen. I tend to subscribe to the Alton Brown mutitasker requirement for my kitchen gadgets these days because I don't have room for storing all the single use gadgets that catch my eye but if you love kitchen gadgets and have the room, you will be in heaven here. The staff is always friendly and and they know their stuff. Skip the others and go check them out the next time you need a quality tool for your kitchen.

Yelp
Holiday Sale! The ultimate must-have Swiss Army knife in the kitchen called, "Little Red Knife". Perfect - stocking stuffers. Trust me! Best store for kitchen supplies!

Yelp
A cool store with plenty of cool things for your kitchen. Everything from kitchen towels to cutlery, this store got you covered. The staff are friendly and encourage browsing, confident in the fact that you will find something in that store but you never knew you needed and must have immediately. I recommend a visit here if you have a passion for cooking. You and your kitchen will be better for it.

Yelp
The store has changed so much over the last couple of years and it looks so incredible! The owner has done a great job transitioning out of restaurant supply and into home chef supply. There is so much fun stuff to look at and a lot of great options if you're looking for a gift!

Yelp
Attended the King Cake and Sweet Dough class today. It was fantastic! I learned so much about sweet dough in general, it's many uses and the "formulas." Certified Master Chef Mark Cross of Tasty Pastry was amazing to watch and his presentation kept our interest throughout. He made a King Cake, Cinnamon Rolls, Sticky Buns and a batch of sweet dough. He explained and demonstrated the different steps in making the sought from start to finish. I highly recommend this class and any by Chef Mark Cross! Now to try other classes!

Yelp
I stop in here when I need something the chain stores do't carry - or if I need it in a hurry. Prices seem to be higher than average, but it is a small, attentive store that provides high end kitchen supplies, so no real issue there. I will be back, as the service is always spot on and the selection is worth dreaming over.

Yelp
Great class with a knowledgeable instructor. The food was delicious and the smell was part of the delightful experience! The chef was well prepared, which laced the time with ease and a relaxed atmosphere. He had answers for why he performed certain steps, and great tips! I would have loved for the class to be more "hands on", so I hope that is offered in the future!

Yelp
Not only will they have exactly what you're looking for, but it will likely be at a better price than online, and their customer service can't be beat. They also do cooking classes in the store. I love coming to this place just to browse, and have found a lot of my favorite kitchen gadgets here when taking a peek around. Whether you're a beginner, an aficionado, or a professional chef, they'll have something to fix your fancy.

Yelp
I came here for a 2 hour cake decorating class. The first hour was spent making frosting. I was very hopeful for the second hour, but I only had my dreams crushed. The second hour was spent sitting and watching the instructor decorate the two cakes. I was expecting a hands on experience where I could actually learning how to decorate a cake. To top it all off, we didn't even get our own cake to take home. Also, during the class people were eating frosting from the spatula with their fingers which totally grossed me out. I could have saved money and just watch how to do this on YouTube. If you are looking for hands on classes, just go to publix for their cooking classes. Overall, complete waste of money and time!!! Also, I called to complain and the man on the phone said " well I'm sorry I saw people doing stuff." Very rude an inconsiderate. I sat through 2 hour class and did absolutely nothing. Also, the cakes didn't even look pretty. NEVER NEVER NEVER GO HERE.

Yelp
I took a French Cooking Class at Browns a few weeks ago and was really impressed. The Chef had an awesome personality, super knowledgeable, and made the best Boeuf Bourguignon that I have ever had. He gave all kinds of extra tips and tricks and also showed us some really cool new pans and gadgets. You get 10% off anything in the store when you take a class so I found lots of new toys. They actually have very reasonable prices too, which I wasn't expecting. If you haven't been to this local kitchen store, you should definitely check it out.
