"This coffee place sits right where Franklin Village and Los Feliz collide, serving pour-over from single origin beans in a part of town that's slim on decent coffee bars. The staff are super knowledgeable, thanks to weekly in-house tastings and direct trade relationships with the coffee farmers. The space—all bare walls and exposed pipes—isn’t exactly cozy, but the excellent coffee and freshly baked sweet treats more than make up for it."

Best $7.25 Matcha Latte I’ve had in years. Perfect temperature perfect mild honey sweetness. Sick a$$ Chill vibe in the place. Beautiful and wonder baristas. Man I could go on and on… especially after that matcha! But I won’t. I love this place. (Note: many people in here pretending to do work on their laptops which is also fun and funny) Go!

I found parking on a paid lot about a block away. I sat upstairs where they have a few outlets to charge your computer. It was pretty quiet, everyone was either on their computer or reading a book. The tables were all occupied. The breakfast sandwich isn’t exceptionally good, it’s ok if you’re hungry but it didn’t change my life. They had pastries so I’ll try one of those next time. The coffee was nothing out of the ordinary.

Google
I got a standard drip coffee, for $5, which was fine. I think the appeal of this place is not their menu or their pastries but just the interior. There’s an outdoor seating, indoor and then separate area upstairs. There’s a small art section featuring local artist and some small goods.

Google
Good coffee and good pastries. We got lucky because they were almost out of pastries in the late afternoon. We found this place when we looked for something with plenty of parking. They do have plenty of parking in the back so if you're looking for easy parking this is your place.

Stopped by Bru after getting some lunch nearby to get some work done, and there weren't too many options for a coffee shop with WiFi in the area, so this option was great. The iced Americano was decent and the WiFi was good, but it was just super busy and the upstairs loft section was so crowded and tight that people kept bumping into each other moving up and down to get their orders or leave.

Google
Pretty crowded spot. My drink came out fairly quickly though and I liked my matcha latte.

I love the vibe when I got there. My cappuccino could have been better but I'm not complaining. The pastry that I bought was good though paired well with my coffee. The baristas were friendly and I did not feel any unsatisfactory customer service. Both were welcoming. Will definitely be back here for sure.

Google
Great drinks and great music. I came in on New Year's Day and the barista had a fun jumpsuit on and a "Happy New Year's" crown on and was really friendly. I got the Ginger Tumeric Latte and it was great. Edit: I came back here when the power went out recently and this place was a haven in Los Feliz -- the employees were very kind and thoughtful even when they had a line to the door, letting us use their wifi and power

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop in LA! Love how there is a good amount of seating, and the chill vibes make it the perfect peaceful study spot (especially with loft seating on top!) I asked what drink was most recommended and the barista said they made all their syrups in house, so I tried the vanilla iced latte. As someone who likes strong coffee and coffee that is not too sweet, this was perfect! You could even see the little bits of vanilla bean in the syrup they use. They have some really unique drinks (e.g. a root beer float with coffee) that I'd be interested in trying another time :)

Yelp
This is a nice pleasant Los Feliz spot. It overlooks the White House ( house of Pies) on Vermont. I'm very chill & the folx here are quiet & classy, I ordered a Cortado coffee to go with the chili tamale a few hours ago. Its the boldest strong ground earth beans since a Turkish back in the day, it's the Italian version con crema....this will keep me pepped up today....

Yelp
If I happen to be in the area, getting a cup of coffee at Bru is never a bad idea. I often notice several people working on their laptops here, so I could see how this would a great cafe workspace. There's ample indoor seating, and there's a chill vibe that could be conducive to reading or getting writing done. Their iced Arancio had a nice citrus flavor that did not overpower the coffee. Service was friendly and attentive, and I would rate this place as a solid cafe!

Yelp
I wasn't super impressed, sadly. I got a Chai Latte with almond milk. I thought it was super bland and didn't have the typical chai spice I was looking for and craving. Pretty disappointed by that. Would definitely not recommend. They have some pastries - some vegan, some gluten-free, some regular. I got the Morning Glory muffin, a vegan muffin with carrot and raisins. It was pretty good! Much of it stuck to the wrapper. Both items came out to a little over $11 so prices are kinda steep. They have a lot of fun gift items inside: cards, funny mugs and journals, etc which all seem locally sourced. There's seating inside and a very small amount of seating outside. Didn't find the barista very friendly but maybe an off day.

Yelp
I've only tried their iced vanilla latte, but that's enough for me. They use real vanilla beans, so don't be scared when you see some black stuff in your coffee - it's natural! Workers there are always pleasant, lady today made me smile giving me a big "cheers!" With my drink. Vibe of the place is cool too. Always people in there working or chatting. One dude was making beats at a table in there one time, that was cool. The only place around I've found to have a vanilla latte that is better is Bodega park. But this place is up there for sure! My only qualm, and this goes for 95% of coffee shops in LA, is there is no caramel sauce! Everyone has syrup and that's just not the same. But when a place has a good house made vanilla syrup for their lattes I am pleased.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a little pick me up. The menu is pretty standard, with only one iced coffee drink, the iced mocha listed. They can make any hot drink, iced, but when I asked for it, they seemed confused and asked how much milk I wanted. If you get anxious making things complicated for others, just stick to the menu like I should have. The drinks themselves were good. I got an off menu iced macchiato with vanilla flavor and almond milk. The place is cute and mostly chill. The little outdoor patio they have is nice and on the smaller side. It probably fits about 4 people total out there. There's an upstairs area that looks like a quiet place to get work done, so we stayed downstairs. Downstairs, they sell little things as well. Overall, it was obvious it was a local spot for people to get work done, read, or quietly converse.

Yelp
I enjoyed their drip coffee and liked how they serve it in a mug if you're dining in. Thought it was cute that they had a small section for cute shoppy shop items. The server was courteous and my coffee came out fast. Since they have wifi and a decent amount of tables, it's a good place to hang out at for a couple of hours to read a book or chat with a friend. I came on a Sunday afternoon and, although it was packed, I was still able to find a seat. With that said, if you're looking for a place to work and post up for a few hours, I wouldn't recommend this place because they only have 1 outlet (which apparently in the upstairs area according to other reviewers). One work around is to come with your devices charged so you won't have to worry about that, but this one outlet situation makes me feel like they don't want people to stay too long, which is understandable. Parking was pretty hard to find in the area since there's a good amount of restaurants and shops around it.

Yelp
YES! I was nearby getting a PCR test at Sameday Health and saw this cute lil coffee shop and decided to take a chance. Let's face it. We all have our go-to's and it's hard to try something new sometimes, but I was in the mood for testing the waters. I noticed that Bru Coffeebar carries Ritual Coffee, which is one of my fav coffee spots in the bay (Napa - Oxbow Market!) and had an inkling that this place may have some type of roots in the bay. This also makes me extremely happy as a fellow Bay-Arean (sp? lol) The gentleman had on a Warriors hat, so non-verbal confirmation has been made! Hahaha. I got up to the register and ordered a pistachio-almond croissant and an iced matcha latte w/ almond milk. Wow, let me share that I'm not big on pastries. But the green color of the pistachios were calling me! The croissant was delicious with light sweetness and notes from the almond "filling" and crushed pistachios on top. The matcha was cool, but will probably opt for an iced latte w/ almond milk next time. I'll be back soon!! xo

Yelp
Nice baristas, cool space, solid coffee, but whether there is 1 customer or 50, absolute dogshit WiFi. I'm not talking early 2000s picture loading by the pixel, I'm talking lottery odds of being able to load a website fully without issues. A few cramped tables outside which occasionally become unoccupiable due to a particularly disruptive homeless person that likes to hang out nearby.

Yelp
Great service! Great lattes! Cool merch. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Hollywood :)

Yelp
Came here on a Monday morning @ the end of January while I was on business in the area for a cup of coffee. Ordered a latte. Coffee was good, but it was packed inside. It had seeting inside the store on the ground floor, the patio and there was seating at the top of a flight of stairs. There was wifi however no where to charge your electronics. All and all it was a cool little spot. P.S. there was a small little incident where a homeless guy walked in yelling something and put a paper down on a table. I would recommend not leaving your stuff unattended, he could of picked up anything of someone's table and no one would of stopped him. This is the norm in LA these days and getting worse IG: @kaliking806

Yelp
Got a matcha lemonade ... more like matcha water with a squeeze of lemon. Cranky bc I didn't get my sugar fix. :l Also vibes did not pass. Somebody else mentions that it feels sterile like the inside of a Mack book pro. They hit the nail on the head.

Yelp
This is one of my favorites coffee shops in the area. The layout of the place (two story with plenty of seating up and down); top part is perfect for working or studying. The ambience, crowd and music are really nice. Place can get noisy at times but nothing earphones won't fix. Their latte, which I usually get, is delicious! You can also add for extra, CBD or any other kind of add-ons they have. They also have a case with savory and sweet pastries. I have tried a few and they were really good warmed up. There's a stand table with candles, journals, cards with hilarious sayings and their coffee for sale. There's a shared parking lot on the back (enter behind 7/11 on Franklin & Vermont) or street parking. The restroom is always clean. Just grab the key attached to a hand whisk next to the register. Everyone working here is really nice even at early mornings (they open at 7am) or busy times.

Yelp
I come here regularly and have always had a great experience! I love the energy in here -- calm, clean, friendly, open space for studying, reading, or just enjoying your coffee. My drinks always come out great and the staff are very polite and knowledgeable about their craft! And the location can't be beat-- if you want to head to the bookstore, catch a movie or a quick bite to eat before/after your coffee it's all right down the street!
google avatar

Yelp
Got the chai latte and it was good. My main focus was to find a great cafe to work/study and this place had a good ambiance for it. Not a lot of plugs to charge your laptop though, so make sure you charge your electronics before coming in. Free parking behind the cafe was a great bonus because that is rare to find.

Yelp
I got a giftcard to this coffee bar recently, so I was in the area and decided to swing by to give it a try. They have a small section of gifts like plants, art pieces, crafts and random things made by local artists. I really dig that aspect of small businesses supporting each other, especially during times like these. It was hot out today, so I chose a matcha latte over ice with oat milk. I forgot to add sweetener. The staff member who helped me seem a bit new, but the drink came out fine. I dig the aesthetic and vibe of the inside.
google avatar

Raymond L.

Yelp
Love this coffee shop. They always deliver the best cup. I asked the barista to make whatever he felt like making, and I was not ready for how delicious the drink would be. No exaggeration, no BS, it was the best cup I've ever had. I recommend this place for your next cup!

Katrina D.

Yelp
The staff here get five stars. They're friendly and always on top of their game, whether there's one person or fifty. I really enjoyed coming here for a while because of the staff, and the good coffee, and because it was convenient. However, it's expensive. Particularly their mochas, which *were* 6.75, which I eventually just couldn't justify getting regularly anymore. And literally as I was in line thinking this, and how this could only be a one-time treat for the week... I got to the front and found out they raised the price to $7. I have not been back since. I know the cost of food is high, but I find it hard to believe they weren't making an adequate profit margin on a $6.75 mocha. Prices like this get raised because we're willing to pay them. Well, I'm writing this review to make it clear that I won't. And maybe it'll just be me, but I doubt it. Plenty of people are sick of the overpricing and looking for better options. I got a moka pot and a milk frother. They paid for themselves in a little over a week.

Yelp
As I approached, there was human vomit and feces. The staff should clean this horrific scene. The tables are filthy. Friendly staff but it was a bad experience.

Yelp
This is a cute little coffee shop that me and my boyfriend stopped at while taking a walk. The service was cute the drinks were great and they even have root beer floats that they can make for you!
google avatar

Yelp
The coffee wasn't very tasty, it was overpriced for the quality and the seating was terrible. If you want to study, don't bring electronics because there's only one outlet available to use.

Yelp
DISCLAIMER. I visited around 11am, left around 12pm. At first, i walked by it bc i was looking for the name but like any other indie barista they had the sidewalk sign up and i walked right by it with my nose up in the air. After making a highly respected U turn i walked in confused about the line structure but also looking at the menu behind the counter above eye level. I got a regular black coffee with one shot and vanilla extract. 5 sumthin. OK, pretty LA-rents-too-damn-high normal. Got me coffee and had my pickings of top or lower level. I picked lower as a seat n table became available altho i was looking fwd to goin' up, but my spot was taken. I love the atmosphere. Beside the low banter, pretty quiet. Not that many ppl and the parking behind the building is Fn great (I'm gathering when the fitness sessions at Wundabar are done). I mos def will be back again.

Yelp
*Late post* My latte with oat milk here was pretty good. A little pricey ($5.25) but I feel like that's pretty average for small, local coffee shops in LA. The cons: -I only spotted 3 outlets here. Not the end of the world but if you like to get work done this might not be the place if it's a busy time of day, so just a heads up. -The service. I was greeted in a friendly manner initially but when I asked if they would be able fill up my water bottle with ice, the barista literally rolled his eyes at me and then returned it with an annoyed attitude and didn't respond when I said thank you. It wasn't very busy at the time I asked so maybe I just caught him on a bad day but it was not the greatest coffee shop experience and I wouldn't go back here honestly.
google avatar

Juvi G.

Yelp
For being in such a hipster place, the coffee here is pretty disappointing. Not to mention overpriced. The space is small, and it says there's free parking in the back, but I found it a bit difficult to locate. I'm thinking it wasn't referring to the 7-Eleven parking on the corner. There is next to no food to speak of, next to some yummy-looking pastries and a few take-away options from M Cafe. The coffee itself is disappointing in terms of taste for what you pay. I've paid less for better just about everywhere else. And there aren't very many specialty/ signature drinks on the menu. None worth mentioning here, anyway. Service is "Meh," and the vibe is not much better. Unless you're already here and just HAVE to get your caffeine fix immediately, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Yelp
I love supporting smaller chain coffee shops, especially ones that are women-owned. The location is perfect (near a pilates studio and a bookstore), the staff is extremely friendly, they have a lot of seating and parking at the back and they have some local items for purchase that also support other women creators such as ceramic mugs, notebooks, home decor and more. They have a huge tea selection and great pastries. If you are looking to share a cup of tea with a friend, you can order the pot of tea and request two cups as they give you a small pot to share. They have a lot of space upstairs that a lot of people work from, so it's a great space to meet up with a coworker if you are working virtually or to just grab a coffee during your break. I would highly recommend checking this spot out after a pilates class before you head to Griffith park for a hike, or even sitting down after grabbing a book at the bookstore which is a few steps away!

Yelp
After having lunch down the street, an afternoon pick-me-up was in order. So we strolled on down to Bru for our caffeine fix. Bru was very busy with no seats left. It was a sunny, warm day and when I perused the menu, I discovered they had Affogato. Score! Espresso & Ice Cream is exactly what the Doctor ordered. Date saw they had Root Beer floats and had to have that. Clerk claimed they had run out of root beer, BUT I found a bottle in the fridge in front of the register. After our drinks were made, a table freed up for us to sit and enjoy our drinks w/ice cream. My affogato was exactly what I was looking for and I enjoyed it.
google avatar

Vira P.

Yelp
I was staying at an Airbnb nearby, and wanted to check out the surrounding neighborhood. So I stopped by Bru Coffeebar to get a cold brew. And I also ended up getting avocado toast, because I, millennial, is how roll. First impression is that it's a nice quiet place to do some work or have a quiet conversation. There's plenty of seating, but I wasn't there for work so I can't comment on the outlet situation. My cold brew was good as well as the avocado toast. It was a bit pricey, but that was expected. And the quality was high so I didn't mind. They have a good assortment of pastry and food options, as well as coffee and seasonal drinks. If you're in the neighborhood, you should check them out.

Yelp
It's great to find a non-corporate coffee shop with a really solid remote working vibe in Los Feliz. There's lots of seating inside and out with a bonus loft seating area above, plus a parking lot out back. Barista was kind and the Americano I had was great. Note a dearth of outlets means you'll have to charge elsewhere.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about this coffee spot. However, it does have it's perks. There's free parking in the back, it gets busy at times, but there is a fair amount of spaces. Two floors, plenty of seats, and a few chairs in an outside patio facing Vermont as well. Their almond croissant is pretty darn good. We had a few different types of drinks, I believe, an iced latte, a matcha almond latte, and almond chai, all of which were good. I felt a kick of caffeine after a few sips, ha! My almond chai was especially good as it wasn't too sweet, and had the right amount of spice to it. Good place to get work done, as it has a few outlet options, and the place is pretty quiet. It's actually so quiet that if you hold a full conversation with someone you may get a few odd looks from people. Thats what headphones are for, my friends. Service wise, I felt like the staff was so disengaged with us. A bit slow, no eye contact, it was a little awkward. The barista was a bit more joyful to be around, definitely as he held a bit of conversation and acknowledged us. Also, since many a time people leave their empty coffee cups and plates on their tables after they leave, there isn't anyone to clean up often. So sometimes, you have to ask someone to come clean up if there isn't anywhere else to sit. Overall, not a bad spot to come if you're looking to do work, and spend a bit of time.

Yelp
What an unsettling first (and last) experience. 1. I walked in around 4 and the barista, lets call her Becky, was gossiping with a few others near the back. She begrudgingly approached me, asked what I wanted, and repeated it back to me incorrectly. Not the best omen. 2. After I paid, Becky hovered to see if I would tip and dismissed me without letting me collect my receipt, but I walked back up to email it. Another concerning omen. 3. I gave Becky a $2 tip because she said she'd bring my drink to my table, but after waiting 10 minutes on the patio to have it brought over, I went in to find the affogato abandoned on the counter, mostly melted. I'm going to pause for a moment to clarify I am not a particularly needy person, but if you're going to offer to bring me my drink and collect a tip, maybe perhaps, I don't know, follow through. 4. When I approached the counter, Becky continued chatting in the back until I stood there for a moment, perplexed, to which she approached me without providing any actual assistance or noticing the mess a table had left that I eventually cleaned up myself so that I could occupy a seat. Becky returned to her staff gossip session near the back. Truly a bummer since I recently moved within walking distance and was really looking forward to frequenting this place. But after this first visit? I'll keep walking. The most ironic part of all this is that the espresso was actually pretty good--but Becky left such a bad taste in my mouth I'd sooner give up coffee altogether than rely on Bru to provide civilized customer service. Embarrassed for you, Bru. But congratulations on what was undeniably the worst possible coffee shop experience I have ever had. Bravo.

Yelp
Great coffee, cool baristas, pretty accommodating to work-for-hours types with a rotating art exhibition that is always interesting if not particularly good... I like Ritual Coffee Grounds and they use it as their house pour. They teach a course on home brewing too, which I really appreciate (Tuesday's at noon w Kern). Wish there were a few more plugs open for us who need them, but that's common in LA. Nice looking place to work amongst a nice looking crowd whilst drinking nice bru!

Yelp
Was a regular client since the beginning of pandemic until absolutely terrible and unprofessional customer service that me and my husband received from barista named Kern/Kerl, I'm not sure if he gave his real name. He worked on November 8th. After tasting our coffee, both of us agreed that it was very bitter, just tasted like burnt coffee and not creamy for this type of drinks. We both are from Europe and know how good coffee should taste like. So we politely asked if something can be done, meaning that coffee can be redone or just some extra milk would be added. Reply was just - NO, nothing can be done, you can add some sugar. Which absolutely took us by surprise, we didn't even knew what to answer... after standing there and already asking to at least add a little bit of milk, because we didn't want sugar in our drinks, we received yet another very annoyed no, and after 5 minutes he finally added some milk‍ Would definitely go to Blue bottle around the corner next time, for better coffee and for sure better and more professional customers service.
google avatar

Adriana C.

Yelp
The matcha and iced latte were good but a bit pricy. The customer service was lacking, they left us at the counter waiting around which was ok because we saw them working on orders. Once we received our drinks, I told the barista "thank you" and he literally turned around and continued making a drink. It was not loud in there and he was about a foot away from me so I know he heard. Maybe I am old fashioned but I like friendly customer service, such as being welcomed and acknowledged.

Yelp
I just moved into the area on Vermont between Hollywood and Franklin. It's a really great laid-back, eclectic community of shops and restaurants. The first time I came here was an amazing experience. I was even talking with another customer about how thoroughly and remarkably the barista was at making drinks. I complimented aloud to him that he was clearly putting a lot of love in every drink he made. (Tall dude, very friendly. Not using names.) I couldn't wait to come back. When I did come back, on Wednesday the 24th at 4:12 PM, I met the Coffee Grinch. Beware of the Coffee Grinch! At first she was very nice and helped me pick out the tea that best suited me. I made the order and realized I had left my cash in my computer bag. I have a torn meniscus and I'm having surgery on the 30th so I'm sure my limp was very noticeable. The sign on the wall very clearly said $3.25. I knew that I had brought back more than that. She said the price was actually $4.25. At this point I could've paid with a card but I went back to grab the rest of my change. When I got back I only had $4.20. I was about to put the purchase on my card when I asked if there was an extra tax or something like that because the sign said it was $3.25. She said that the owners made a mistake and they haven't changed the price board and $4.25 has been the price all along. (Talk about throwing the boss under the bus!) I assumed she would say 'don't worry about the nickel', but instead, she grabbed the $4.20 I had already given her and waited for me to pull out my card. I figured she was kidding. Most people, having seen that there was a mistake on the price board and in possession of a nickel short of the higher than advertised price, would just apologize and make the drink. Not Coffee Grinch. I even said that to her. (minus the apology part) She just looked at me and didn't say a word. Oh, but the best part was yet to come! As I started to walk away she dramatically started to jump up on the counter and try to change the sign that was high upon the wall rather than say a thing. It was like Mary Lou Retton circa 1984. It was as if she was trying to strip me of my identity and show me that she will not be questioned. It was one of the funniest and lamest things that I have ever seen. So the next time you go to Bru Coffeebar, peek your head in. If a tall dude or anybody else is behind the bar: Go inside. You're going to have a wonderful experience. It's a great place. (I would also recommend that you check out the north wall and see the clever and handy gift ideas they have. Buy someone something for the holidays.) However, if you see a blonde female behind the counter...Run...because it could be the Coffee Grinch. The Coffee Grinch will ruin your day like she did mine. I give Coffee Grinch's service a 1.5, but her dismount from the counter a Perfect 10!

Yelp
The ambience of this place is really nice; has outdoor seating and really cool art pieces hung up on the walls. The area has a nice vibe as well as they have lots of restaurants and boutiques. Onto the drink, it was a little disappointing; I've had better. It almost tasted a little grainy which can either be from their almond milk or from the mocha powder. I thought this place would be good for working but there's only one outlet and you're lucky if you get that table.
google avatar

Anabell C.

Yelp
I got the matcha lemonade and it tasted like an iced green tea with a spritz of lemon. The worker was very nice and told me where the restroom was, but this drink was just not worth.

Yelp
this coffee shop has great vibes. they have a little nook where they sell cute cards, lotions, candles, and other miscellaneous items from local market places. we ordered a mocha and a latte, both were great. they make their coffee with a really pretty la marzocco machine and i can tell that the coffee was properly made. it was 6 dollars for each drink, which is on the pricier side. the barista is not the friendliest, but if you are just going to grab coffee and leave, this is the place to go.

Esmeralda L.

Yelp
The place is nice and quiet , good for work, coffee is ok , it has a good flavor , price it's around $ 5 to $ 6 , but the kindness and customer services is cold , you don't feel at all welcome

Yelp
I decided to try a new drink and realized it did not taste good. I asked if I can have the same drink but with a different milk option. They wanted me to buy a whole new drink instead of just simply swapping me with a new one. I would think they would want to keep a happy loyal customer coming back to their shop. But the women at the counter decided the drink it's to expensive to replace. I guess the customer is wrong in their case.

Yelp
Got the iced vanilla latte with almond milk. Added a little cream and sugar. You can taste the freshly brewed beans

Yelp
Favorite local coffee spot! Excellent quality and service. Baristas are always friendly and consistent in preparation of the drinks. Lots of cute little gifts and snacks available as well as food and drinks. Also a great area to walk around after getting your coffee

Yelp
I was near the Griffith Park area to do some business, and needed 2 things: caffeine and wifi. Knowing many places have both, I referred to my life-saving Yelp app. Bru pops up. About a mile away from where I was, good coffee, free wifi .... I was quickly on my way. Ordered a cappuccino and it was waiting for me at the counter faster than I can get settled at the table. The coffee was smooth, but did not have that bold finish I always crave. According to the cashier, they use Virtual Roasters from SF. It's a mild to medium roast, but I will definitely get a caffeine buzz she promised. Nope! I ended up yawning quite a bit. Did they secretly use decaf on me as a joke? The place has 2 levels, with a loft like upstairs area that has a few tables. In the middle of the cafe is a communal table, and is surrounded by several smaller 2 seaters. Art by independent artists are displayed on the walls. Though more people came in as I sat there, the place remained quiet, as if everyone is in deep concentration. The cashier who promised me the caffeine buzz (though she lied) was very nice. Fellow customers appeared friendly as they exchange warm smiles & nods. This is a nice quiet place to get a cup of "not too strong" coffee and get some thinking done. If I'm in the area and need wifi again, I just might pop in here. But I do hope for a stronger blend.

Yelp
Root Beer Affogato - this is a MUST try here - from the artisanal root beer to the creamy vanilla Madagascar bean ice cream to the perfectly pressed expresso, you won't regret getting this!

Yelp
Bru CB is a two story coffee shop that offers wide variety of coffee and limited bake goodies. Its interior architectural design is modern and has a high sealing with exposed thick iron beam bar at center. Similarly, its modern furnitures (e.g., stools, bench chairs/ tables) are very comfortable to use. Bru CB's atmosphere emits a cool and positive vibe that will tickle your creative mind. The shop is very spacious, well organized, neat and well lit. Staff are friendly and competent. WiFi is free! Prices are relatively high but almost the same as Starbucks. Reg brewed coffee starts at $3.25. Overall, its a great coffee shop.

Yelp
While dining at House of Pies, we noticed this place across the street and decided for ourselves to try it out. Bru is right next to a boxing gym, so watch out for people in the gym run out the door as you approach the coffee shop. One runner almost ran into me. The interior has a two story seating area plus numerous paintings on the walls. I ordered the cold brew but was told it was sold out, but then I was told again it was not. They apparently forgot to remove the big 'OUT' sticker on their menu. This place was worth going to.

Yelp
First time at Bru was lead to me by Siri! I just wanted something fast and close! I parked at a meter. Nice easy going pop music, I swayed my hips to as she made my lattte! I asked if they had any thing thing with turmeric! She suggested something! I asked was hat a latte! She says she can make it one! Bam! One minute latter I was enjoying a latte I love!

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get coffee nowadays. The baristas are very friendly and taught me how I can recreate the coffee at home (the temperature needs to be 203 degrees, etc). I'm new to Ritual coffee grounds and find it so incredibly smooth. I drink decaf as regular makes me too jittery, and I just love the taste! I also like the way Bru supports local artists by offering handmade items like cards and candles. I'm all about supporting smaller mom-and-pop-type businesses especially when the coffee is THIS good. Give this place a try, it's wonderful!

Yelp
The coffee here is really tasty. I enjoy the daily instant gratification or the cold brew. The counter service is generally pretty friendly and the atmosphere is bright and inviting. This is a great place to work from but It can get crowded at times. The pastry selection is plentiful but other food options are minimal.

Yelp
I hope they open their inside soon, this place is great for writing of any sorts. The baristas are often jazzy and kind, music is eclectic - great coffee, electric cold brew.

Yelp
A nice coffee place in the Los Feliz area. They brew Ritual Coffee which is super delicious. The cold brew has a nice flavor, rich but not bitter, and the pricing was on par with other similar coffee spots in the area. The shop itself is a cute little place - fairly small but clean and cozy. Nothing outstanding in terms of decor or feel though. Average amount of aeating with some 2 person tables along the side for laptop users, a bench table in the middle, 3 outdoor tables, and a couple seats upstairs which is the main thing that sets this place apart. Food options were minimal with avocado toast and some pastries but they looked tasty. Service was fine and friendly enough.
