The beers were excellent. Full bodied, just the right amount of hops and smooth finish. The food is made fresh to order. The chef was great our wings were perfectly made and there sauces are delicious. The staff is great welcoming and friendly. The brewery has a great vibe welcoming, friendly. They have outdoor seating areas with picnic style tables. Great brewery well worth the visit.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon for ladies brunch and chose to sit in the open air section. They have a lovely ambiance. There were few customers only and we felt like we have the place to ourselves for a quick photo shoot, lol. Although, there wasn’t much of rush, the server who was waiting us took pretty long to come back for taking our food order. It took a while even for the drinks to be served but the drinks were good and they took care of my dietary restriction. My friends tried two different types of beer and liked both. I don’t recall the names though. The server was friendly. The food was mostly good. We ordered two types of wings - 1) Seoul spice - expected it to be spicy but it was bland with no specific taste punch and, 2) lemon pepper - which was good. If we talk about the quality of wings per se, all of us felt that the wings itself was way too dry and didn’t feel fresh and the celery served with it was stale. We also ordered Pimento cheese dip - the dip was just ok but the crostini was good. Onion rings were good. Pizzas - The Roma and Bianca Diablo were both good. We were celebrating birthdays of two of our friends but it was a bummer that they didn’t have any dessert that day. Overall, it was a good experience.

Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. in Allentown offers a cozy, industrial vibe with exposed brick and a tin ceiling. The menu boasts a solid beer selection, from IPAs to fruity sours, with fair prices ($3.50-$8). My black coffee was bold and fresh, served with milk and sugar on the side. Great spot for beer lovers and casual dining! 🍺☕

Google
Took a long time to get seated and it wasn't jam packed. Food and beer came out in a timely fashion but after I paid my check I went to use the restroom and left my leftovers on the table well when I get back there was someone in my table and my food was thrown out! Pretty messed up to do that. Otherwise the food and beer was really good. They need an attendant in the front to actually seat people...

Google
Great food & service! The cheese curd appetizer is addictive! I had the bang bang shrimp tacos & they were delicious too. My husband had a pepperoni pizza and as always the pizza was perfect! The service was friendly & so quick!.

We stopped here for the first time last week. We got there what seemed like right before they got super busy. Our bartender was amazing. She was super on point, taking care of her customers at the bar as well as filling orders for the tables along with the other bartender. I could be completely wrong, but I think her name was "Alana". Big shout out to her. Sorry if I messed your name up. The food was great. We ordered honey hot + BBQ wings along with a phantom pizza. All three were great. We also order a sunshine squeeze and a passion fruit lemonade. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. The employees were happy and upbeat as well. We definitely recommend stopping in here to try so of the food and some of the beers. We will definitely be stopping back to try more of their offerings.

Google
This place is great. I love the bar staff, wait staff and management. They always take care of you. It gets busy sometimes because of the location, but that takes nothing away from the excellent service you get. Food is always awesome. Brit, Justin, Peter, and Alana are all phenomenal! Love this place!

Google
Vibe was busy because of a private event/raffle thing going on, but it was still a nice time. Decently priced, fantastic service, and really great beer (I had the Juice Daddy Grapefruit IPA). I ordered the new item they had on the food menu, the Double Smash Patty Burger. The burger itself was great, however it literally only came on a bun with onions. No mayo, other sauce or toppings, etc. Besides that, I do recommend this place. I would like to come back and try different things.

Yelp
Best part of the visit was the really tasty pizza with great crust. Tried several beers but wasn't impressed with any of them. The 2 low alcohol (2.8%) ones had a bitter taste that didn't seem to come from the hops. The sunshine squeeze was pleasant but lacking in complexity. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
We stopped in before a hockey game and could tell the place was packed. We each ordered a drink and looked over the menu. Decided to share some apps as we weren't super hungry. The pricing is not bad a at all, very on par with other local restaurants. We were not rushed and despite the being one server, the service was good. My only complaint is their happy hour. They run $5 single and $7 double drinks. I ordered a vodka cran, thinking I'd get happy hour pricing and did not. Turned out they gave me a double and didn't give me well liquor. The pricing wasn't bad ($12 for Tito's) so I didn't complain - next time I'll specify that I'd like well vodka.

Yelp
Salad was good. Brussels sprouts were not edible. We had them hold the cheese... these were cooked to oblivion and drowning in grease. Besides that-- staff was super nice, atmosphere looks great.

Yelp
We will be back! Loved everything even from the start as we walked in. Our waitress was super helpful and answered all our questions. The brews were on point and we worked our way through all of them. Really great flavors and everything from sour to IPA to stouts kept us all impressed. Before I get to the food, the atmosphere was light and fun and we had the bonus of being there on trivia night. We split some apps and main courses for the table and not a single thing wasn't top notch. The cheese curds, K-pop Egg rolls and Vaterfest Pierogies were all huge hits. The Rocket Root pizza had a fantastic flavor and the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken disappeared quickly. We will be back ASAP!

Yelp
If you're looking for a good vibe in downtown Allentown, then go no further...this place is not only welcoming but is very chill, the food is amazing, staff if great and place is super clean. You really can't go wrong here. The crowd here is quite a vibe too. Now for the real reason we're here....this place has one one the best beers in town, so if you're a beer lover, you should definitely check this place out. They have different types of beer you can select from.

Yelp
Food is very good still alittle pricey for the area, I was just in Philly for lunch. Server was very nice..ambiance is nice once they put the lights on.

Yelp
We walked-in at 6 pm on a Friday evening to a relatively empty restaurant, and were asked if we had reservations! After confirming that we didn't, we were seated at a table pretty close to the entrance door and were not given a table of our choice on request, stating there were reservations! That was slightly disappointing, but two things that did go perfect for us that evening was our waitress/server who was very friendly, and cheerful; and of course their beers! We were literally there for 45-mins and wanted to try out their local brews and got a chance to try out Haze Daddy ($7 - 16oz) - so far, the best NEIPA I've tried! We also tried their Winter Dreamz ($7 - 16oz) which was good too. Service was excellent, we didn't get to try their food, noise levels were on the lower end, and by 6:50 when we got out, the place did get busy!

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this place but unfortunately it didn't land. The service was super nice and accommodating but it was slow because they were short staffed. I had every intent in ordering a few drinks but since we rarely saw the waitress, I only ordered one. This place was kid friendly and a great ambience. I love eating outside but having picnic benches as the main option for a medium size group, we opted for inside. And they have some good specials during the week. Now for the food. The Bavarian pretzel was great and the brew cheese was a great dipping sauce. Unfortunately again, the other two were pretty bad. The cinnamon sugar was so liquidy that rarely any stayed on the pretzel. And unfortunately the pizza was one of the worst I ever had and I've been to some sketchy bowling alleys. I get it, it's coal fried and it will come out burnt but the pizza tasted like coal. Even the pepperoni couldn't save the taste, heck even that tasted like coal as well. It was so distinct that it was inedible. My kid was disappointed that it was so bad. Anyway, I had the Cuban sandwich which was fine. Little dry but not bad. You also have to pay for street parking. Cheap, but inconvenient. The beer I had was really good. I would highly advise in skipping the pizza and you actually might have a great experience. Who knows.

Yelp
Chicken wings were great! Pizza was interesting in a not-so-good way. Sauce had what tasted like an huge amount of oregano that made the entire pizza dusty tasting and bitter. Service was a bit disappointing as well. It was a slow Monday and the server disappeared after food was delivered. Not sure if she had two stations or was just not paying attention.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Been here twice, had the chance to try the wings which are AMAZING. They were well cooked, flavorful and a good size that'll leave you satisfied. The sliders are a great little meal in itself, slightly dry but not bad at all paired with a good beer or drink. We recently tried the "Iron Pig" which is pulled pork pizza and the crust was crunchy and pulled pork on top really brought the flavor home. The selection of beers isn't short by any means and the cocktails are carry that same energy. The Staff is friendly, attentive, and have take care of us each time we've gone. The ambiance during the day is relaxed and we definitely had a good time with good music and a small crowd. At night its seems to pick up and it was more packed night when we went. Absolutely a "go to" spot if you're running past Allentown and it even looks like they have a patio which would be a cool spot to hang out when it opens too.

Yelp
Customers Beware! Four of us Stopped at Bru Daddy for dinner before the hockey game. Had a salad and some wings. They were fine . Server didn't tell us about any specials . I actually found out about the pizza and beer special because it was posted in the Men's Room!! Specials weren't posted anywhere else! Got our bill and there was a 20% Party Charge added! Didn't tell us about that! I actually added my usual tip before we noticed! Then removed it. Very Disappointing.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with great food. We stopped after a trip to the DaVinci Center with our kids and they even enjoyed the food. The Hazy Daddy beer was great! The pizzas are a large personal size and are incredible. The service was really nice. They were a bit busy but everything came out well paced.

Michael M.

Yelp
Brudaddys was a fun time for me and my friends. Went there with expectations and they were met. Will be returning when I have a chance.

Yelp
Was walking through Allentown when me and my friends found this quiet place! At first they said they weren't sure if they couldn't serve us since we weren't over 25 because of some local law (we weren't sure, we came in from out of state) but thankfully once they checked with their manager it was all good! The pizza was great, so good we got a second pie lol. The beer was also delightfully light and cold. I'm definitely coming back for a bite or more 4 packs!

Yelp
Quick visit this past Tuesday evening. Reservation for beer garden (outdoor) for party of 3 at 7:15pm. The place was hopping since TOOL was playing right around the corner. The hostess wasn't very friendly, but our server was quite nice after confirming we had a reservation for the table. Everything served in plastic cups. Not preferred, but makes sense for how busy things were. They were out of glassware. The place was a bit messy. Tables not bussed quickly, but a very lengthy tap list so no real complains. Tons of cans to go. Will check out the pizza the next visit.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. The quality has been declining. Tonight was the last trip we'll make. The beer was mediocre, the cheese curds were decent but the pizza (Roma) was terrible. It came out 5 minutes after we ordered it. The crust was burnt but the toppings looked under cooked. When we pulled the pieces away from one another it looked like the middle was missing and someone had eaten it and they threw toppings over it. We made a complaint. The waiter was apologetic. He brought us a new pizza 5 minutes later. This one was better looking but had zero flavor. No manager ever came to talk with us and the pizza was never addressed. After the new pizza came the waiter acted like it never happened. We won't be back again.

Yelp
I've been to Brü Daddy's a few times and have always had a great experience. Not only do they have a great drink selection but food as well. We started off with drinks. I usually go towards their margarita, but i decided to try the Strawberry Basil Fizz. So happy I did, it's refreshing and perfect for this spring weather. Our friends recommended the K-Pop Egg rolls and we were not disappointed! The sauces complimented the cheesesteak perfectly and the crispy shell of the egg roll brought it all together. Lastly we ordered our entrees. I got the Chop Chop salad and shrimp as my protein. I don't usually order shrimp but happy I did, it was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Will definitely be ordering this salad again. If you're in Allentown for a game or show I highly suggest stopping at Brü Daddy's. Even if you're not a beer fan, they cover all basis.

Yelp
We went to Brü Daddy's before a hockey game one night, we were looking for a new place to try and settled on this place. The food was mostly good but the service was spotty. I really enjoyed the decor of this location, I think it is one of the best looking restaurants in downtown Allentown. I especially like the mix of indoor and outdoor seating. For food, we got the buffalo chicken pizza, the Cape May, Pizza, and the Korean K-pop egg rolls. The Buffalo chicken pizza was very good, but be warned it is the spiciest Buffalo chicken pizza I have ever had. I enjoy spicy food, so it was not too bad for me, But if you're not used to a lot of heat, I would avoid that pizza. the Cape May pizza was fine, but there was a little bit too much garlic on there for our liking. I was told the star of the show was the eggrolls, but after eating the pizza, I may have lost some taste due to the heat from the pizza. My biggest problem here was the service, most of the waitresses and waiters seem to just wander about of no clear sense of purpose. For some reason we got our appetizer after we got our main course. When it came time to pay, it was hard to find our server to pay. However, that could've just been because of being busy for the hockey game so I give them a slight pass for that. Overall a really good restaurant to go to when you're in the downtown Allentown region, we look forward to having the egg rolls again.

Yelp
Wanted to grab a beer when we were in Allentown Pa, this brewery was cute and in an old brick building. They had a huge list of beers including beer cocktails. I had the double IPA and my husband got a Carmel apple cocktail. Stop in if you come this way it's worth it.
google avatar

Kyle J.

Yelp
Got here kinda late so we had 5 minutes to order from the regular menu. So we got some fries. Even though the regular menu was done we got to order from the pizza menu! The jalapeño popper pizza was good but the chicken bacon ranch was so much better! We also got to experience live some Love music! It was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful too! She always made sure our glasses we full.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
I would score zero if I could. This has been a disappointment. Sat 6 of us at 4:45pm and it's 6pm and still waiting for our food. Other tables getting food. We're upset and saddened with the service here. Feel rushed and hassled. Management don't appear to care. Waitress just apologized and thanked us for our patience. Manager not paying attention. Husband of owner finally came over. Offered free dessert but we said no. How long to wait for that. We had to leave. Table of 6 of us. Won't be returning and don't recommend. Food and service sub par.

Yelp
Drinks: - mornin' cream NITRO: definitely recommend. It's smooth, got a hint of coffee flavoring, and is light with no lingering aftertaste. - Oh jenny jenny: light cream ale. Was ok but a let down after trying the mornin cream nitro Food: - K-pop pizza: the sauce makes it a little spicy and the pizza is baked a little soggy not super crispy crust. I enjoy the arugula which give its a different taste to the pizza. The meat on it was mediocre. Not bad wasn't amazing - Pulled pork sliders: comes in set of 3. The pork is solid and so is the bbq sauce. Was tasty and enjoyed it - Flight of fries: you get 2 fries type and 2 dips. Went with original and black garlic with Serrano aioli and bacon ranch. Couldn't taste much of the black garlic on the fries. These are more soggy than crispy fries and the aioli sauce has a little kick to it but was a great sauce. Overall the food is good and the drafts are well priced. The outside seating and decorations is nice especially on days with good weather. The biggest flaw was the time it took to get our orders and food. When staff was there they were polite, however we were starving and getting orders in was difficult and the time for the food to come out was slow. Not sure if this was a covid staffing issue but felt like 15 minute intervals to flag down someone to order and 20 minutes to get a drink or food to come out was rough. They also had multiple items we attempted to order that wasn't available, but I would definitely come back! Food & drinks: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service 3/5

Ryan B.

Yelp
Bru Daddy's was an average experience. While I love the ambiance and their dog friendly patio, the food and service fell short. If you're looking for a place for $.50 wings on a Monday, it's worth a visit but don't expect to be blown away. They have a lot of flavor options! The pretzel was alright, really enjoyed having multiple dipping sauces! The shrimp taco was fine, could use some additional sauce. Our server was so kind, service was just a little slow considering it wasn't very busy. Great place for outdoor dining and a cold beer!

John R.

Yelp
Beer was not my favorite. Nice atmosphere and decor. Difficult parking. Little too noisy for my taste.
google avatar

C's M.

Yelp
Bru Daddy's Brewing has great beers. Try Block Party 6.1% IPA. Grand Daddy Kush Double IPA 8.8% (real weed tasting) Not Your Daddy in cans 6.3% IPA All amazing. Tried the Pierogi's absolutely delicious. Never had them made like that. House made beer cheese. Kielbasa, sautéed onions, apple adds a touch of sweet in all the smoky! So yummy! Beer tender was a gem! Can talk beer and sports all day.

Zach A.

Yelp
It's is a great environment and prompt service. I wish the chicken sandwich had other flavors other than just the Nashville honey, I wish they allowed to add other sauces. The coleslaw is unique, was not my taste but it was unique. Would like to go back and try the pizzas, I hear great things.

Yelp
stopped in before setting TOOL at the ppl center - we had walked past and saw how busy they were and tried another establishment first, which was awful. so we made our way back and it was starting to clear out a bit so we actually got seats at the bar. the service was quick and the bartenders were really nice and very social even though they were extremely busy. 2 of us were only drinking and one friend had a sandwich that came out quick, because brudaddys is smart and has a different food menu for the nights events are at PPL so it's easier for the kitchen. they have an outside beer garden which was cute and the interior of the bar was a decent size. the open concept kitchen was cool when you walk to the back.

Lucy C.

Yelp
I think bru daddies is a racist establishment and I would never have my family or friends ever eat there the music sucks the food taste horrible...the waitress have snotty bad attitudes and the chef don't know how to cook ...the place is dark and gloomy ...plz build something good over there
google avatar

Chase S.

Yelp
The bartender was very personable and knowledgeable. The food was typical bar food, Nothing special. My only issue is the manager or owner was very very rude in front of customers. The staff seemed to be treated like children in front of customers, which is so unprofessional. From a customer point of view, the servers and bartenders are more than capable of working at a place like Bru daddy's and don't deserve that kind of treatment. All in all, it was ok. My experience would have been way better if it wasn't for the behavior or the manager/owner.
google avatar

Vishal P.

Yelp
A lot of seating. They made some extra seating in the alley way with heaters too. A decent sized menu with burgers pizza and wings with a few other items. Food was really good, pizza was well done. Good selection of classic and unique beers. Try a flight and take home a 4pack
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
So we have been here a number of times for dinner and have always loved the food, service, and atmosphere. I was excited to celebrate brunch here for Father's Day.... It was a mistake. The food was decent, but it took 45 minutes (no exaggerating) to get water and coffee. My husband's salad came out before any drinks or silverware, and our meals came out before the water did. Our poor waitress seemed completely overwhelmed and was apologetic and pleasant despite obviously running around like crazy. Management: staff accordingly OR TAKE LESS RESERVATIONS! It's not fair to your staff, your patrons, or your reputation to book solid with two servers on. We will think twice to come back, and that makes me sad because it used to be a fave place of ours. Do better please.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
We initially came opening weekend... subpar and a little disappointing, they had zero Bru Daddy beer. We ONLY came back because the food was freakin awesome ( I mean who doesn't love a legit stone fired pizza...). Today's review- excellent! The wait staff was amazing and our server was a queen. He was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our time there. Advice from us- try all the beers via flight and order all the pizzas- they have Togo boxes for a reason!
google avatar

DJ H.

Yelp
We stopped in Allentown on the way to NYC for a rest and decided to eat here. The prices are moderate and location was right downtown where you can see everything. The burger choices are excellent and the brick oven pizzas are great choices. The pop egg rolls were a disappointment, they taste like beef tacos. My wife really enjoyed her arugula salad. The local made beer flights are on point. We will stop by again when in town. The waiter, host, and atmosphere was great for my family.
google avatar

Minty M.

Yelp
Excellent service by A'Shawn! Relaxing atmosphere outside in the alley with the picnic tables and "beer garden." Unfortunately, the two IPAs on draft were forgettable. The veggie burger lacked seasoning and was completely mediocre. The fries were soggy and tasted like old grease. The Brussels sprouts were equally as heavy, smothered in cheese and oil. The outdoor playlist was on point but the indoor music was louder and a little obnoxious.
google avatar

Alex F.

Yelp
Voted best of Lehigh Valley 2022 for a reason. Beer selection is fantastic, pizza is inventive and fun, staff super friendly.
google avatar

Kyle G.

Yelp
Beers were above expectations...had wanted to go there for awhile. Inside is filled with square footage, plenty of seats. The only rub is the service, friendly but slow. Plus, it's downtown Allentown, parking could be a issue but there is a parking garage across the street at the PPL Center.
google avatar

Alexis R.

Yelp
Giving the overall place a 4 star review. The food was good, the fried were awesome as well. I didn't really have a server, so the Bartender - Justin, helped us. I saw plenty of servers but none were coming and he stepped in. Even though he was busy, he was very nice and made sure to take care of us. I'm not sure why we didn't have an actual server, but it was just another table and us when we arrived. Overall, it took us some time to get the food, probably 30-50 or so just due to this.

John H.

Yelp
pizza was half raw and sent back. The return pizza wasn't much better. It seems they pre-bake the crust and when you order all your toppings are raw and crust(pizza dough) is burnt.
google avatar

Devin L.

Yelp
Really nice brewery. Stopped in before an AHL game. Reservations are highly recommended before an event at the PPL Center across the street. Tried two different beers as well as some delicious foods. The first beer was the Gloves Off, a red ale. I thought it was good, maybe a bit too hoppy, but over all a nice clean beer. After that I tried the Black Sheep which was absolutely delicious. It's a easily drinkable, black lager. It went down smoothly and this is the type of beer that would have me coming back. We got a few apps. The ladies wanted the Brussels sprouts, which I could not eat (allergic to truffles). They looked wonderful, cheese and bacon covered. We got the flight of fries, again parm truffle, so a no go there, but also the boardwalk ones which were tasty. They came with dipping sauces, the ladies co-opted the bacon ranch dip, so I had the bbq, it was tasty, with a vinegar finish. I also had a beast burger (wagyu beef, bison, elk and boar) and because I wanted dominion over all of the animals, I got it Benny style with an egg and bacon. It was a bit messy, but tasted great. Really good place to stop if in the area. I'll absolutely get back here.

John L.

Yelp
The waitress put my wife's order in, but forgot to put my order in. When my Burge came out, the top of the bun was cold and wet. I guess they keep the buns on the refrigerator and they did not defrost it correctly. The IPA beer was all disappointing hazy, unfiltered beer.

Yelp
I walk in to this place on the 3july when most of the allentown area was closed. Place is very clean and it has lot of sitting space in and out. List of beers to pick from plus the cocktails. Food is awesome and it was delecious. I had pizza that soft after long time, big Shout out to "LIDIA" she is a champ the only one server in the building and had over 10 tables to take care of i didnt mind the wait after i had took my first bite from my pesto bird. Overall must go to place for me everytime i am in allentown area.

Jim B.

Yelp
Large place with indoor and outdoor seating, lots of street and deck parking. Fast, friendly service. Food was good, beers were decent.

Joel J.

Yelp
Walked in and cool chill vibe, food: wings buffalo and Parmesan and loaded fries and sliders. The burger sliders were good, they managed for sure. Wings were chewy and crunchy and blue cheese perfect. Loaded fries were good salty crunchy all that. Had a couple drinks just the cranberry drink which was perfect and then the bartenders special Mango margarita that literally took me back to the tropical but I didn't want to admit that but they were really good.
google avatar

Ryan J.

Yelp
The beer was good all around. Very nice hoppy beers. The sours were nicely balanced and not too tart. My only wish is that they had a bit more variety, mostly because the few outliers they had that I tried (the Schwarzbier and the ESB) were so solid that I wished there were more. Still, if my only complaint is that I wished there was more of a good thing, that isn't bad at all. The food was also very good. Their wood fired pizza is no joke and the other foods I saw people get looked great too. Nice to find a brewery that doesn't rely on food trucks (which are great, but often limit the variety and availability of food).

Tom O.

Yelp
Great beer and nice ambiance. Bar tender was friendly and she helped choose the perfect drink.
google avatar

Daniel F.

Yelp
Stopped in, had a few beers, and got a pizza. Everything was top notch and the service was fantastic. The blood orange IPA was 100% my favorite. Will come back without question.

Trey R.

Yelp
Food was okay. On par for the Lehigh Valley. I'm still getting used to the local fare. New takes on traditional dishes. We ate there at 3ish pm before a Phantoms game. Perfect time to go as after that it was reservations only without availability until the game started. I didn't drink, but reviewing the beer menu they had a great selection. Service was good overall (the host accommodated a stroller for us), but the highlight was Deshawn or Shawn I can't recall his name exactly it was a bit loud where we were sat and my kids were a bit overwhelming. It was his hospitality that I haven't found since moving to the Lehigh Valley. Something that is found in the south, but I finally found here at Brü Daddy's. He made our experience personal and ensured we were taken care of. I'll be back for sure, and without the kids... and when we're not on call to enjoy a brew. Great spot before a game.

Yelp
So I probably never be coming back here again . The fries were really hard and didn't like them so much the best thing I had today was my drink and the sauce that come with my fries bacon ranch . Other then that I sadly won't be returning. The pizza wasn't seasoned at all and it was very burnt on the bottom . The prices are pretty Reasonable my drink was a Razz Daddy. Update I came back last weekend the first day they opened after quarantine and it was such a great experience I'm glad I gave them a second chance !
