Brudder's Sports Bar

First time here. My friend and I went to see Flaco Navaja and the Razor Blades. Superb show! We ordered pizza (meat lovers + sausage & green peppers), had some drinks (beer & tequila), danced and sang along. The pizza was delicious for a sports bar. Service was great and everyone was friendly and welcoming. This place was surprisingly nice! We will definitely return.

I don’t really go bars but we’ve been wanting to try Brudders food so we decided to go on a whim. We loved it as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere is amazing. Its like an elevated dive bar/neighborhood tavern but better. It’s a really cool space and it didn’t smell like stale beer. There’s wood everywhere and it’s a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The menu is huge! What we ordered was amazing. I’m from the South and chili cheeseburgers are a popular option and they had one on the menu so of course, I had to get it. It was a big 8 ouncer, and I got tots for my side. Man, was it tasty! My hubs got wings and fries. They were the best wings that we’ve had in a long time and the fries were hand cut and cooked perfectly. I told my husband that this was my new favorite tavern. Between the atmosphere, great food and amazing bartender (hi GiGi!!), you couldn’t ask for a better combination. We will be back

Stopped in to get some take out, and had a beer while I waited. Ordered a “Juicy Lucy” burger and unfortunately Lucy was dry and not cheese. Super disappointed for it to be from a place that says they have they best burgers in town. The wings on the other hand were slapping’ to say the least. (All flats!)

I am giving this rating solely on the Long Island Ice Tea and the dance floor. Did not have any food. Saturday night was great because this spot is what I would call a hidden gem in that it had for good looking Mexican women than any spot on the Northside of Chicago. Also a shout out to that sultry Dominican woman who had me dancing all night!. While not a nightclub it had the largest dance floor outside of downtown Chicago. The music bounced back and forth between American dance and Mexican music. IMHO it shined the most when the DJ would play current spanglish dance music. Drinks were cheap by downtown Chicago standards. My Long Island Ice Tea was $10 where the same drink downtown Chicago and by O'Hare is $16. If you can't party on 18/26th Street I would suggest dancing at this establishment instead.

Great food and prices great dominoes on Wednesday nights

Thursday night $2 mini burgers with fries or tots! So delicious. Always a game on to watch and a pool table too. Specials vary daily which is awesome, on drinks and food. Good beer selection and friendly bartenders make this a great spot in the neighborhood.

Food was fueeegooo .. service AWESOME chick was helpful , attentive, we even came 10 min before kitchen closed (we didn't know what time kitchen closed, so wasn't on purpose) and food was great ! Vibes was great too! Screens was nice and size ! Margaritas simple was good ! Didn't take pics of food , I was huunngrryyyyy !

Brudder, let me tell you about this Chicago neighborhood bar. Wet your whistle with a cold beer or a not too fancy cocktail. Fill up with some pizza or some of the best wings outside of Buffalo. Not quite a dive bar, but definitely a belly flop. Check out the occasion live music

For da' locals kinda bar. No specific scene. The music is provided by touchtunes jukebox or the rare live sort. The bar has a kitchen and they serve pizzas and sandwiches. Nothing too grandiose, a bite if needed but if you have options, seek those out instead. For drinks and sports, it'll do.

4:00 PM totally dead and told us we couldn't go in because we have a baby with us who is asleep. I get after a certain hour, but it's middle of the day and is not a restaurant? I'm so confused boooooo tomato tomato

Atmosphere: Weekday not too noisy. Dive Bar/Bar food Food: I ordered a Brudder Grabber which had Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Onion Straws (which I declined), Chipotle and Mayo. By it being Wednesday it was $6.00! It also came with Fries. Everything was good. Server/Bartender: Yahna? Drinks: I ordered a Strawberry Margarita which wasn't on the menu and Yahna made it so well! I'd return to try other specials on other days or to grab a drink.

Amazing live music venue that embodies CHICAGO at its finest. Great prices, good music, cheap bar food. Great time!

I love Brudders!!! I especially love going for the wings and music. The atmosphere and service is great and the rest of the menu are also a must try. I live about 40 minutes to an hour from this place so when I get a chance to go, I make sure I do. I've had and attended birthday parties here as well and celebrated St. Patty's and had an awesome time. I've Watched sports events here too. Or some regular nights, it's a spot you can always go to, where you can listen to music, drink , dance, have awesome-ass food, and great company. It's always a "Good Time" at Brudders!

We walked in at 7:50 pm and had to walk out at 8:10 pm because not one person helped us. They looked our way at least 3 times. It wasn't even busy. We were excited to try this place but we will not be coming back. Disappointing.

My love and I enjoyed a late lunch at Brudder's Bar and Grill recently. Brudder's is located at the corner of Pulaski and Addison, and features some rather appealing daily specials. Have a look at the football helmets lining the walls and the stylized aerial mural of Wrigley Field while you figure out what to order. My love enjoyed her BLT which is a particularly good Saturday special (only $6.95) considering the generous piles of bacon and fries on her plate. My patty melt was also a loaded sandwich with a substantial number of tasty and crispy tater tots, and not a bad deal at under $9 considering my stomach was full for the rest of the day and I still had a few tots left to go. Our pleasant server also seemed impressed by the food items that we ordered when she brought them to our table. We each had drinks that were specials, and it seems they have at least two different drink specials for each day of the week. I cannot believe it has taken me so long to check out Brudder's.

It's a shame to see the live music is coming to an end. Just when I started to like the place too. The only redeeming quality of this establishment was the live music. It's not like the food stood out, the service was mediocre at best. As a lifetime Chicagoan this is what the neighborhood needed. A place to come unwind and listen to some great musicians do what they do best. I truly wish I could say I would be back, but as mentioned. Nothing special about this place without the music.

Let me start by saying the waitress at Brudders (Sunday August 18, 2024) was very nice. However, I ordered pick up. They charged me. They even sent an email saying they received my order. Cut to 30 minutes later when I come in to pick up my order at scheduled time, and she says they have no record of my order. Furthermore, she wasn't equipped to offer refund. Just manager...so she said she'd have to leave a note. Unacceptable!!!!

Best place to check out and listen to local bands in the city! Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

Love going here on Wednesdays when I lived nearby. Now we're about an hour way and try to visit here there just for their great hospitality and burgers are much better each time. A Hump day special of $6 for a burger w fries/tots, plus other drink specials! You can't beat that!

So I've been here before for a drink or two and some grub at the bar. Decent. Tonight though I ordered a meatlovers pizza for take out, and some wings (good price on the wings considering the increase in cost lately). Wings were over done, dry and hard. Pizza had zero sauce on it. I couldn't even separate the cheese from the crust because the cheese was melted ONTO the crust, even on the middle pieces. Toppings were generous, cheese was done, crust was decent, but the utter lack of sauce made it hard to choke down.

I like this place to have great time with friends at night time. Nice, respectful people

Once you get past the dozen code of conduct rules on the door (no doubt they've had "problems" in the past), this is an ok neighborhood bar. No frills, just good pub food served in generous amounts for decent prices, great daily drink specials, and lots of TV monitors. I overlooked that the Naugahyde banquettes have seen better days because the chicken wrap and Sunday pizza special were great.

Interesting bar. A slight identity crisis, but interesting layout/decor. Very friendly staff. Food is usually good. Area can feel sketchy, late.

Yet another update. 5 stars because what was I thinking the first time, the food here is delicious. Love the wings, the burgers, the chipotle chicken wrap, the poppers, the tots, all of it!

This review is a bad one but we LOVE Brudders! We have been long time customers. We love Alicia & Misha as well as the younger and older gentleman that work there most of the time. We've been there in excess of 5 times this week while we've been busy and unable to cook. Misha welcomed us with open arms the first 3 times and Alicia the last two. Our 6th time coming in, this Sunday 7/9/2023 we were welcomed with an attitude and an argumentative lady (5' short black hair). My husband loves the peach whiteclaw and when asking for one she immediately was on defense saying "we do not carry that" despite him having ordered and receiving this all week. He said well I've ordered it all week and laughed in an attempt to lighten the already tense mood. She replied with a short and snarky "well we don't carry that." We have never met someone so rude at Brudders over the 10 year span we've been going. I asked for extra limes for my Modelo and it felt like she was bitter about the whiteclaw situation and gave me one measly little lime, lol. If ya hate your job then don't work it, amiright? She checked on us once while we ate, which was nice I guess. The gist of this post is to avoid going on Sundays at all costs. Spare yourself the shitty attitude and go on all the other days when this character isn't around. We unfortunately don't know the schedules of the other workers that we love but this was our first run in with the bad bartender tonight. The name of the server on the ticket was Charlie but I can't be positive if that was her name or the other gentleman she was working with. I would also love to add that aside of the FANTASTIC bartenders we love the food and drink selection are top notch! We keep it simple most of the time but there are other fun options for drinks. The food is fresh, hot, made to order and quick! Can't beat that.

I'm going to keep it 100 when it comes to Brudder's - I only recommend coming to this place on Hump day. Every Wednesday they have $5 burgers that comes with tots or fries. The burgers are bomb!! If it's your first time I would definitely get the brudder grabber. Other then that the rest of the menu is okay. The place does have a nice little scene on the wked's and in regards to wing Monday - those are NOT jumbo wings but at $5, who's complaining? I would also like to say to stay away from the pizza - It's not good, period. NOW, if you are hungover like shit, I would recommend their nachos. The nachos are a hot mess, filled with all kind of delicious ingredients (guac, sour cream, cheese, etc) and the portion can feed a family of four (I'm not joking). Overall: If your in the area on a Wednesday night, why not? Would you make a 10+ minute trip to this place - NO. ******Major key: Sit where the waitress or waiter can see you. There are only two of them (need to hire at least one more person) and this place gets bumping on Wednesday's - so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes in between check-in's from the waiters. Brudder's as a whole 2/5. The burgers though 4/5.

We tried this place for the first time on Monday evening. We were impressed with the size of the restaurant and the cleanliness of the entire establishment (including the restrooms). They also have great happy hour specials every night of the week. We ordered a chicken avocado wrap with tator-tots and a burger (the one with egg) with tator-tots. Both were excellent. We were very impressed with the taste, quality, and speed.

I eat at this place all the time yet the ONE time i lost my ID, they ask as soon as we sit down?? Literally come here almost every Monday and Wednesday for their specials but f that now. I wasn't gonna even order a drink. They bogus asf for that shit honestly, just lost a regular customer now.

This management sucks! They have a bunch of outdated, old ass rules and lost out on a trolley of 28 people and their business. They wouldn't even let us in and came out to yell at us about all their rules of why we couldn't come inside. Our party was majority colored.. it definitely had something to do with it bc they didn't even give us a chance. Luckily, just down the street is a place called the Hangover and they were super kind and got at least two rounds of drinks from everyone. But eff this place forever. Don't give your money to them!They only care for business from people 50 yrs old or older, most preferably white.

The food is good. However, not once but twice when I ordered delivery the restaurant messed up. Both times I was told they could not make it right because the delivery drivers were not theirs. The first time, it was 3rd party.. the second time I PURPOSELY ordered from Brudder's website, just in case. Okay for one time but twice?!?!!? Within a year. It was not the driver's fault. It was the restaurant. 25 does not mean 10 and buffalo does not mean barbecue. Lost a customer and recommendations.

Wings are on point! Steak Sammy is ridiculous and they are pumping 90's classics like they are going out of style! I will be coming back for more wings and possibly a wrap. I looks promising and about the size of my leg! Yum! Their beer selection was kind of weak but I am a fan never the less! However, they do buckets of domestics and I am a fan of that.

The female bartender at this place tryd being slick and give me a drink with no liquor what's so ever then tryd to have me pay $5 to add a shot... Also, a guy that was in the club with a gun, left and came back inside came from outside was how he got shot. They got that all wrong. Top it off it was over a female with a jealous man. Gentleman if y'all don't like y'all ladies getting hit on please don't take them to no getto as bars\grill cause how r other ppl going to know who's taken... Bitches are bound to get hit on anywhere its life it's up to the female to go or not.. smmfh I can keep going but this is just pissing me off even more that man didn't deserve getting shot. My goodness, people were not lying about how good these burgers are...i mean really! Seriously out of this world. Their food menu is filled with everyone's favorite fatty foods from burgers, sandwiches, wraps and wings...JUMBO wings. Not to mention they have specials going on everyday which gives me even more reasons to come back here. If you're not sitting at the bar, the waitress/bartender will not notice you're there, so make yourself seen as soon as you walk inside and order yourself some of the best burgers on the northwest side. Side note, Saturday nights here are fun if you like dancing and mingling with the local chicas.

I came because I heard they have great burgers. I have a thing for burgers, I love burgers. So when I looked it up. It look. amazing . I'm not to big on drinks so I can't rate on that. But their burgers was delicious definitely recommend them. So far I had the Brudder Grabber burger and BBQ brudder burger A.k.a. Addison and Pulaski. Combo with the tater tot is the perfect duo. I was one happy customer even if you order to go it comes out perfect not all sloppy or all over the place.

Food?! They have FOOD?! I had no idea! I ordered food from grub hub and hoped for the best. Jalapeño poppers, Brudders burger and onion rings. My God, hot and perfect. Great job guys. I called to commend them and the poor guy thought I was going to complain, not at all. Keep up the good work!! Support them.

This location has been under new new management for about 3 years and let me tell you the hot wings the service the atmosphere and the ownership I think are just Top Notch. I love this place I love this with my buddies I love this with my family and this is my new spot!

Although this is a bar, this place is pretty good if you're into hip hop, r&b, and reggaeton. There's a pool table, dance floor and kitchen. The women's bathroom is kept clean. No complaints.

OK - I live within walking distance of this place and I have tried at least half of the menu. The burgers are by far the best burger you can get for $5 on Wednesdays (dine in only), or even any other day, I promise. They are very juicy and have some great condiments and those tots are almost dangerously delicious. The pizza is also very basic but great and you can get any toppings at a very reasonable price. The nachos are stupid big - do not order them unless you are ready for the largest pile of chips, chipotle nacho cheese, guac, jalapenos, meat, etc. They are great but shockingly large. Lastly the potato skins are also good - those are my favorite's at Brudder's. I never really go during the weekend because the vibe isn't my style but the week nights are solid with sports on the TV and a chill vibe. Don't judge - just go check it out.

I literally live within walking distance from the bar and while I love the food and drinks I don't like the service I receive from this one female bartender with long dark hair. It's like every time I come in there she is working and pays me no attention when I'm actually a great tipper when treated nicely. She focuses on the regulars I guess and everyone else gets little to no attention from her. Tonight I sat at my table for nearly a hour before she asked if I wanted a refill on my drink; thank god I had food because I would've been looking like an idiot. Other than her being not the best server/bartender the place is pretty decent. I just wish they would hire more friendly people

I'm not sure why I've never ordered from here before since it's so close. Tonight I NEEDED a burger and was not disappointed. Only giving it 4 starts because I ordered well done and it's much more pink than I prefer but..I still ate it and loved it.

$5 burgers & $2.50 miller lites after a long day and not in the mood to cook was the best idea my boyfriend came up with the entire week. Oh and the tater tots made me think of my mischievous days at Senn...so good! Anyhow, so for about $15 you come out of Brudders- satisfied.

Man this place has gotten better with their food. Their wings are delicious and the burgers are $5 on Wednesdays. That is the best deal anywhere for a good quality burger. The tots and fries are delicious as well. I go here pretty frequently now and never had a problem. Definitely 5 stars. Supposedly this place has a bad reputation, but after they got strict with their 21 and over policy, it's so much more relaxed. Will definitely be going back.

Best wraps around ! Went in bought a Chipotle chicken wrap! Amazing!!! Beat chicken wraps in town 2018!!! Great bar service as well!

R.A.C.I.S.T. I can't believe I would actually need to post this type of review in Chicago given the diversity, but it needs to be said. A group of 4 of us came in earlier this evening for a drink or two after dinner. Now I am all about racial profiling in the truest sense of the cause, but the fact that they made my husband walk back to our car in the 30-deg temp and remove his hoodie before we could get in was odd. But if that's the dress code, then that's the dress code, and he did w/ a laugh and w/o argument. But then we continued to see more and more people let in w/ not only hoodies, but much more inappropriate attire. As we left, I called the bouncer (toy cop w/ a star badge around his neck) out on the unfair discrimination that was going on. He screamed to me out the door as we left "you know what, we are racist!" I only wish I would've captured it on camera. I do not throw that R word out loosely, nor do I like to see it thrown out loosely. If you're in Chicago, do the world a favor and do not support this place. What a disgrace.

I fully understand that this bar is located within the city limits of Chicago, and that the Bears play football on some Sundays. That being said, when I asked the bartender to change one of the 20 televisions to the US open men's tennis final, his reply of "I'm not doing that today" was kind of ridiculous. I don't think that bears fans need every single television to check the score. Thanks for the accommodation, I will not be back. In fact, I plan on telling literally every single person I meet until I die not to step foot in this bar. Sports bar? Try sport bar. Singular.

So much food for so little monies. Tots & burgers are fire. Bloodies were on point. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area!

The Mudder Burger is the best ever! Perfection on a bun. Generous with onions, lettuce-cheese and the pretzel roll - OMG!!! Don't forget the onion rings - crunchy - tasty - the ultimate.

I wanted to like this place since the options for food in the immediate area are kind of slim. I don't actually drink alcohol, so I'm reviewing this place on its food and service. We ended up waiting over an hour to receive our food, even though there weren't many people there at the time. I think they forgot about our order. I ordered a burger and soda. The soda machine wasn't working so it tasted off and they also ended up charging for a refill. The burger was okay but the fries were pretty bland. On the plus side, the interior is nice and you could tell the people working there were trying to make things right. I'm sure it's a great place if you're just wanting to drink, but you should probably avoid if you're looking for food. Smoque is right up the street...

Owner so RUDE....sports bar correct? Not really! OWNERS Sport's bar changes the channel according to his convenience. ...40 min waiting for chicken wings... Really Bad as it can be!

Hands down my favorite place in Chicago. I gave it five stars only because I couldn't give it six. I found Brudder's about a year ago while looking for a place to watch a Cubs game and have a beer. I've been in at least a couple of time per week since. Even when it's busy it doesn't seem crowded or loud. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The food, however, is what really makes Brudder's stand out. The menu is pretty standard for a bar; burgers, wings, subs, pizza, but the variety of burgers, wings, subs, pizza on the menu is what stands out. The BLT burger is absolutely one of the best burgers I've ever had. A coupe of my other favorites are the turkey and bacon sub and the garlic Parmesan wings. And don't get me started on the tots. I could live off the tots alone. Portions are generous and prices are very good. They offer daily food and drink specials that can't be beat. Easy five minute walk for Pulaski from the Irving Park CTA stop. Stop in...thank me later

I have been coming to brothers for years now and it never disappoints me. The atmosphere is great and the people that work there are just as great. Their bar food is one of the best bar foods I've ever eaten: cheese curds, nachos, quesadillas, wraps, and the best are their burgers and mini burgers!! Are you looking for a good pizza they got it, looking for some good meaty wings they got those too!!! This is one of the best bars that I've ever ate it. They have drink deals and food deals every day! Sooo good!

Great atmosphere, very cool bartenders and delicious food! I ordered the " Holly Guacamole" burger...it was soo good!! Just the day before I visited "Small Cheval" and thought this is the best burger, well I was wrong:) Whoever the cook is-salute you sir!! My husband ordered "Brudder Graber" burger with bacon and egg. I am just gonna quote him "This burger deserves an Oscar!".
