The 16 Best Bakeries in O‘ahu - Eater

"It’s self-serve at this Hokkaido-based bakery. Take your pick from row after row of sweet and savory treats, including an pan (a baked bun filled with sweetened azuki paste) and curry pan (a doughnut filled with Japanese beef curry). The shokupan bread is soft as a marshmallow; you’ll get more chew from mochi treats like black sesame mochi doughnuts and chocolate mochi bread." - Martha Cheng

Some of the pastries are so cute. Staff are very friendly and great service. I got some for a friend and came back after lunch to get some for hubby.

Google
A small bakery specializing in Japanese baked bread. I remember visiting this bakery many years ago and having the beef curry bun and really enjoying it. However, when I came back this time, the portion has definitely shrunk, prices have risen, and it didn’t look as fresh. The curry beef bun was still tasty when I ate it but I definitely had to microwave it when I got home to make it softer. Overall, if you’re looking for a Japanese bakery, it would be worthwhile to check out. This one was located facing the parking lot.

Google
Great little bakery down at the parking garage level. The store has great baked goods, but the aisles are very narrow and congested. There is no traffic control in the store, so customers get in each other's ways. No dining area available, although you could sit in the food court nearby. This location closes before the lanai location in the same mall.

Google
One of the best bakeries on the island! The downstairs location by Marshall’s also has slightly different flavors so it’s fun to check out. They had amazing lilikoi butter stuffed bread 10/10

Google
Tried this Japanese bread shop out for breakfast and it was pretty much exactly what we were looking for reminding us of the bakeries in japan. The bread is soft and sweet and the toppings on the savory options are wonderful. It is a little bit greasy but that’s okay due to the nature of using meats and cheeses on bread. They all had nice unique flavors so it was hard to choose a favorite!

Google
Aloha; welcome to one of the local bakery that gives you options from bread to onions roles which are my favorite. They also make desert items like pineapple turnover and more. The staff is so great , plenty of seating and so many options that you can't just buy one.

Kerem Yilmaz

Google
We visited the bakery at around 5.30pm (they close at 6pm). There were only three options left and we were a bit disappointed BUT we tried all of them and they were all so good. The staff was very friendly as well. Hokkaido: 10/10 Tuna: 11/10 Truffle: 7/10 (definitely needs more truffle)

Google
Both of their locations always have fresh made goodies that never disappoint. I push myself to try something new every once in a while and I am always delighted. They have Japanese canned coffee in the cooler as you walk towards the check out as well as mini desserts there too which completes the experience for me.

Yelp
Brug Bakery makes some of the better, moderately priced pastries on Oahu. A Hokkaido chain, Brug has established itself on Oahu with consistent high quality. I am Japanese, so I am long famiiar with milk bread, azuki beans, mochi, Japanese-style croquettes, etc. All of these food items, familiar to the local palate, are well incorporated into their pastry offerings. While I haven't been to The Lanai Brug Bakery location often of late; I have visited their Mauka Street Level store, as well as their Manoa Marketplace locale. This morning, picked up Kale & Spinach, Cranberry & Cream Cheese half loaf, and apple pie. Only the apple pie was a bit disappointing...just average. First time trying the Cranberry & Cream Cheese...ate the half loaf in one sitting, enough said.

Yelp
I am a lychee lover and wanted to try their new item - lychee mango croissant. Also wants to get their toast for breakfast. Unfortunately, I went too early, the toast (no sugar and dairy) is not ready, the Japanese cashier said I need to either buy a whole loaf or wait till 10, that's when they will slice it. They only have white toast ready right after they open. The lychee mango croissant was disappointed because: first don't expect it to be crispy because by the look of it, I already knew this is not a tradition French standard croissant. Second they use CANNED lychee, which taste gross. Of course, at this price point I couldn't expect them to use fresh lychee, but I don't mind to pay more for fresh lychee since they pride themselves in quality flour they used. But I must praise their toast is very soft and fluffy. Anyway, I usually don't frequent them even I am at the mall, is not a must for me when I am at the mall. Also, the Japanese cashier is NOT friendly. She tends to be nicer with customers who have their loyalty card, but to me, she sound so harsh and no welcome in her tone of voice. The local cashier who next to her has better customer service.

Yelp
Just to be clear. This Brug Bakery is at the lower level facing the parking lot. This is different from the other one being inside of Lanai Food Court. Again, this smaller Brug Bakery with a storefront had less stuff at 5pm. I was very disappointed as most of stuff were sold out. I had to tell my driver friend to circle his car again as I needed to go upstairs to get some buns as snacks on my flight.

Yelp
Carb Lovers Rejoice! Surely you will find something delicious here to satisfy your cravings. Favorite items are the iconic Shokupan Bread (so soft and pillowy) to make sandwiches at home and the Curry pan. Pepperoni Foccacia was tasty too. We brought it home to slightly crisp and heat up before eating. Yummmmm! Really nice and convenient spot to drop by when you're at Ala Moana. Service is usually polite and professional. Ambiance is small, but had a homey bakery feel.

Yelp
I was pleasant surprised by the Brug Ala Moana as their bread is unique and tasty. Truffle bun was soft and firm. Shrimp and broccoli bread was out to the world innovative but we know that's something Japanese bakers do. Loved it! And the sea lion with Lilikoi ? I bought it because it was so cute! I didn't get to taste it because my son ate it so fast. Note: not all locations have these bread. I later went to the Manoa store and they didn't have the shrimp/broccoli and truffle.

Yelp
Good pasteries and today 2 dollars each for max 12. So many decisions on what to get and what's available. On other days one can get points but not today.

Yelp
BRUG has definitely mastered the art of consistency. I've been to almost all their locations in Hawaii and it seems like the only thing that disappoints me is when they run out. I'm so glad I can rely on them whenever I'm on the go or just feel like some thing small and easy on the cost. Service is super easy since you are servicing yourself. The cashiers never fail to remind me to get my points in, which is important for someone who goes to BRUG as often as I do! This is especially important when I'm buying for a group so my points rack up fast and often. Speaking of, since everything is individually packaged, don't forget to stop by here to grab a pastry for your friends or small group get together. Would I come here for a potluck?? Hmmm depends on the size, the bread do run about $2-$3/each so you can determine your cost from there. My favorites are the spinach and kale bread, cheese mochis, and pan au chocolate. I always tend to get two of the spinach and kale bread because after the first one I know I'm gonna want a second one.

Yelp
The pastries and bread are baked daily. Savory and sweet options. Special baked treats are offered every month. This place is kept fully stocked and clean. There is a senior discount day on Wednesday. The service is quick and fast. Pastries are packed in its own bag. I love the variety offered here at Brug Ala Moana Lanai food court. Tip: special offer when you check in to this place. Don't forget to check in when you visit!

Yelp
I kneaded some bread so you know... On weekends my work peeps cooks up some toast for us lately and brings her own loaf of bread and shares them with us and thought that well let's fancy it up a bit with a loaf from Brug, This OG location is easily forgotten as I do myself often go to the Lanai Food Court location but since I was on the Street Level in Ala Moana Center why not show some love at this first location that got us all falling in love with their baked goods. Though a bit cozy and tight it's easy to browse all items along with description and priced for it all makes it easy to know without disturbing the staff with questions I decided on the "Golden Bread" which describes as extra milk and eggs making it a bit rich and tasty just on its own sounds just yummy! Just looking at it it does look glorious and can't wait to get it toasted! Staff here is just amazing don't forget to enter your phone number for points as it does add up AND another reason to give them a visit...check in on Yelp and get a free pastry with purchase over $15 and who doesn't want to save some bread!? Thank you!

Yelp
I've been going to Brug since the old Spot in what once was Shirokiya. It's a favorite spot of mine for Japanese breads/pastries. There's something for everyone from sweet pastries to savory options, but I would recommend sometimes going past 8am or call before going. Sometimes they may not have everything out just right a 8am. You can always ask or call if you don't see your favorite bread items out yet. As a kid if you loved "pigs in a blanket" you'll find a hot bread there that'll bring back that Nostalgia. My favorite item there is the Mentaiko Franc (Baguette) Its split into 2 halves and filled with a mild spicy Mentaiko paste. The mini Baguette has a nice crunch and chewy air texture inside. On each half of the bread is a mentaiko paste spread all across the inside. You can think of it as caviar's Japanese cousin. It has a very very mild spicy taste to it and the eggs themselves has a light saltiness but goes well with the bread! I'd recommend trying that as it's the most unique one if you don't want too many carbs.... But who doesn't love carbs??! Another I like are the Onion Pan, bits of fatty bacon infused into a soft fluffy bread with onion shreds and a cheesy top. It's touch heavier than others, you'll want to have coffee with this one to cut the fat.

Yelp
Self serve pastry and bakery. I appreciate discard times being clearly labeled. They also have seasonal pastries available which are just as tasty.

Yelp
I remember when Brug used to be in the Shirokiya plaza, and I'm still a fan today While it seems simple from the outside, their variety and taste are still great for the value, especially in Ala Moana. The raspberry danish was nice, the raspberry jam did taste fresh, however I think the marshmallows are an odd touch since it didn't add much to the flavor or texture. The veggie bread was a staple, tasted like roasted veggies on bread but a solid meat alternative nonetheless. Now the heavy hitters, the shrimp Alfredo bread has a nice garlicky cream sauce that made each bite burst with umami, plus the shrimp were plump and were a nice treat. The tuna ume was very interesting with a prevalent ume tartness that still balanced well with the shoyu tuna, a combo I've never thought of but I'd be happy to have again, if only it wasn't sea

Yelp
The pastries and flavor combinations at Brug are so unique because their Mainz flour is an original blend made from Hokkaido wheat flour and rye flour. We tried the: Raspberry, Hojicha & Marshmallow Danish Ume Tuna Bread Shrimp & Brussels Sprouts with White Sauce Focaccia Kitaguni Focaccia I would recommend trying their seasonal pastries, and you can't go wrong either fairing towards savory or sweet options. At such a high quality, their pastries are priced affordably, they have a rewards program, and if you're 60+ years old, you get 10% off on Sundays. Their Neko Danish Bread and Kuma Chigiri Pan are too cute to eat!

Yelp
Come early for the best selection! I love everything here! I usually get the special bread and assorted savory pastries because it's SO delicious! Cashiers are all super friendly and personable. Please support this local business that is based in Hokkaido, Japan!!
google avatar

Krista U.

Yelp
This place is a cute little Japanese bakery located at the lanai food court at ala Moana. I will say, nothing beats fresh bread/pastries! I got the ham and spinach bread & strawberry mochi donuts. I really liked the mochi donut, it had the perfect amount of sweetness. The line to pay moved fairly quickly. Don't miss the yelp check in for a free item if you spend over $15!
google avatar

Barbara D.

Yelp
My favorite bakery! This location has the croquette pan which I love! Pearlridge location never has it so I like coming to this one. It's best when you go into the morning where it's fresh and way more selection! I had the raisin bread for the first time here and it was still hot! I ate some in the car and I almost ate the whole loaf, it was that good. Soft, springy texture and the right amount of raisins. Ahhh, I may be dreaming about this raisin bread for awhile.
google avatar

Ann C.

Yelp
Yum! One of my favorite bakeries in Ala Moana, serving up fresh and tasty Japanese pastries and breads. They also have rotating specials. My usual favorites are any of their danishes, their curry bread, and the potato croquette. I had the cutest little seal bread filled with lillikoi curd, perfectly pillowy bread and slightly tart filling. So good!
google avatar

Katy P.

Yelp
I made the mistake of going to Brug Bakery while I was hungry. BIG mistake.... LOL Everything looks so fresh and delicious. They bake and package every delicious pastry right there. You can even watch.... I had the hardest time picking a snack. I ended up purchasing Mochi donuts and custard pastries that were amazing. I love every bite. This bakery is super clean and all pastries are separately wrapper for freshness and sanitation purposes. Tongs are available and once purchased the cashier will seal them up. Cashiers are friendly and super helpful. Lots of seating in the food court and restrooms are close by.
google avatar

Jadalyn E.

Yelp
They usually run out of their strawberry tart, and that's pretty much the only thing I love. Others are ok, nothing that really stands out to me. The customer service is good, pleasant. Ambiance is basic but clean. It's still a convenient place to go since there are several locations.
google avatar

Darren K.

Yelp
This is the place to go for excellent Japanese style bakery goods! The quality is consistent and you'll usually have plenty of items to choose from throughout the day. Everything is individually wrapped which is nice since you don't have to worry about who has touched the bag and put it down. Discounts can vary based on location. Only thing to remember is they charge $0.20 for a bag if you don't bring your own.
google avatar

Eva G.

Yelp
Delicious treats to bring back to family!! Was so excited to try everything but in moderation. Lol YUM!!
google avatar

Tanya A.

Yelp
Unlike the other location upstairs, this Brug has egg bowls! These flaky, savory breakfast pastries alone are the reason why this street level location beats out the food court location for me. The egg bowls are flaky, square-shaped pastries with an egg baked inside. Hidden beneath the egg is a slice of ham and a light spread of mashed potatoes. Everything together makes for a savory and filling pastry. Come early to get one before they're all gone! They stop making them once lunch hits. I've come around noon before, and there were no egg bowls left. Aside from the egg bowls, my other favorite item is the mochi bread. These are chewy, round balls that come in flavors like cheese and ube. The ube flavor is rather light and almost non-existent. The cheese mochi balls are savory and tasty. I get those all the time. These can be found in the upstairs location as well, as can most of the other items sold at this location. The egg bowls are the main, perhaps only, item unique to this street level location. This location opens one hour earlier than the food court location, so you can come as early as 8:00am. Start your day off with some cheap and delicious bread fresh out of the oven!
google avatar

Desiree M.

Yelp
I love this place. The workers are always so kind and available when I have questions. They made pastries for my son's birthday which I ordered about 5 days in advance. The pastries are always fresh. It's definitely one of my top go-to bakeries here in Honolulu.
google avatar

Piper H.

Yelp
Everything in Brug Bakery is so cute and perfect! I got the bear bread today filled with chocolate pudding and I highly recommend it!
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
This bakery is a great place to stop by for some fresh baked goods! I like how they have very specific expiration times for certain treats so people don't end up with stale bread or other ingredients that could have potentially gone bad at that time. They're constantly pumping out fresh goods throughout the day. There was no line when we dropped in around lunchtime.
google avatar

Ross T.

Yelp
They have other locations but this was from the Ala Moana shopping center. The bread was very great soft and chewy was great toasted the inside stays fluffy while the outside was nice and toasty. The raisin rolls was packed full of raisin and the rolls was soft and chewy. I love the Melon pan outside nice and crispy with a sugar glaze and the inside is soft and flavorful. They carry more items stop by and see if they have any items that you might want to try.
google avatar

Lucy H.

Yelp
Yay! A free bag because I buy a lot and often Always look forward to bringing home treats for everyone from Brug! Poi Mochi Donuts for my Puppy Girl's Sitter & Sausage Rolls for us!
google avatar

Simone M.

Yelp
Baked good to suit all your needs! They have everything from breakfast items, snacks, and even items to eat for lunch or dinner. Just need a loaf of bread? They usually have at least three or four varieties. Need something sweet or savory for breakfast? They have fruit pastries and cheesy spinach and tomato pastries. Whenever I need a quick bite to hold me over u til dinner, their cheddar mochi bites are perfect. I usually always love their selections to bring dessert over for dinner parties. The softness and fluffiness of the all their bread items makes for a more luxury/upscale feel. On occasion they even have donuts if that is what you are craving. Five different locations with long hours, but know if you go towards the end of the day, you will be left wanting more, because they usually sell out of most items.
google avatar

Yelp
German influenced Japanese bakeries. Wanted to try their Mochi Donut before I went to MoDo Donuts, just to compare. My daughter wanted to try their Chai Tea Mochi Rolls. Unfortunately, I am experimenting uploading my pictures in the moment, then writing my reviews later to see if they link. So far, I have minimum success, so sorry if my photos are not all attached to my review. Quality/Quantity - Cinnamon Mochi Donut - Good, but sorry, can not compare to MoDo Donuts, my favorite. Chai Tea Mochi - Also good, but very light in flavor. The next day, the bread was still soft. Also available for my next purchase are the "Chigiri-pan" Bread, so cute with the bear faces. Atmosphere - Small kiosk in the mall's food court. Service - Good. Price - $4.08, very affordable. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1977 with your 8+ locations.

Charles L.

Yelp
I stopped into the shop lower level for coffee. It was 5:45 pm Sunday. They were ready to close! The Mall closes at 6:00! They ceased serving coffee!! Hey, this is the Aloha State!! The Japanese are known for their hospitality n graciousness!!! I guess, they, the bakery, feel they are the exception!!! Auwe!!!
google avatar

Kaitlin W.

Yelp
Cute little bakery in one of the food halls. They have a lot of different savory and sweet baked goods, including seasonal flavors. There is grab and go options, but also larger loaves to take home as well. It was great to stop by while shopping for a little snack.
google avatar

Chelsea K.

Yelp
Brug holds a special place in my heart because I've been coming here since I was a kid. They used to have one shop in Manoa and since then they've expanded quite a lot. As someone who has been to Japan before, some things just don't compare but if you've never tried Japanese style bread, Brug is a good starting point. It's pre-packaged now so you can grab and go. Some things to try: Cranberry and cream loaf: My recommendation if you come here. The bread is soft with a whipped, Japanese cream and cranberries. Curry パン (pan): good flavor but a little lacking in body. The breading is nice and soft. I also really like Epiya's version of the curry pan. Bacon epi: crunchy exterior but soft center bread with a slice of bacon running through the middle. There isn't much bacon but I think for how greasy bacon is, you don't need much. Melon パン (pan): not too sweet but tastes a little artificial. Mochi doughnut: soft but more chewy. I'm not a big doughnut fan but I know people really like this. あんパン (Red bean bread): bread is quite soft but not as soft as the other types of bread. They do fill it up with red bean though which is a win in my book. Sausage bread (spicy/non-spicy): soft breading with a Japanese style sausage in the center. The sausage is lighter and not as savory as the ones you might be used to. Great combo and one of my favorites here. A heads up: the spicy version isn't spicy. Raisin bread loaf: soft and filled with raisins. The cranberry and cream loaf has more flavor. Overall, this is a family favorite with good options for anyone. Don't forget to check in on yelp for a free pastry!

Yelp
Where to start with the gem. Price great, service quick and efficient with their line. I actually love this place!! The wife introduced me to it when we Cuwere say Adidas and I wanted am inexpensive little snack and that's exactly what I got! I actually for NOW than that because I was willing to settle for a mediocre snack but instead got the most delicious little snack AND for $2.95?!! They offset sweet snacks and savory, umm "not sweet" snacks?" Not sure what to call the not set ones aside from delicious! As an example, they offer a pizza little one with some pepperoni on it. I had that one last time and it was really tasty. Even ate it cold and was still delicious. That visit the wife had a sweet one that was like a cinnabun but about 1,000x better tasting than a dang Cinnabun! My second visit I decided to try to spicy dog one. Again a win! Tasty, filling, quick and inexpensive! All traits I look for in a snack while I'm out and about. The service is friendly, fast and efficient. Zero complaints about this place! Definitely recommend stopping next time you see one and trying anything they offer. I'm sure you will not be let down!
google avatar

Cheri L.

Yelp
I really wish I had the stomach and money to try all the bakery goods they have here! Everything looks so good and the ones that I have tried were delish. My favorite was probably the cat bun which has a cute presentation and yummy fruit and cream cheese filling. They have both sweet and savory options which is always a plus. Everything was very clean as they provide gloves, baskets, tongs, and individually wrapped items. The decor is very matching to their Japanese style. They also label the times they will discard items so that they are always fresh. Located on the outer side of Ala Moana near the area of parking lots and busses. Definitely stop by and check them out!
google avatar

Lilian B.

Yelp
Went early morning and there was already a line! The place is small but cute! We grabbed enough pastries and they were all so yummy!! Too bad I can't come often as I was just traveling but this place will be the place I come every time I visit Oahu! Thank you!!
google avatar

Nadine D.

Yelp
Stumble here when I was walking around Ala Moana mall & saw many adorable looking pastries while walking into this bakery.
google avatar

Fely S.

Yelp
Since moving to Hilo one summer ago, whenever I come for visit every 3 months I have to come here to buy my bread. Their bread is amazing and always buy 3 loaves. The staffs are awesome they make sure you get your free bag when you spend over $30 and that's easy to do.
google avatar

Dizia C.

Yelp
One of my favorite bakeries to grab quick snacks and pastries. I went to Brug when it was near closing so I had the opportunity to grab a quick bite before heading home to study for finals. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something to snack on during study sessions.
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
I usually am a sucker for some good savory pastries. I had to try it out and was pleased with the sausage bun. I also had their black sesame mochi which was a lot softer and chewier than other mochi donuts I've had. The stuff here is pretty good and definitely is a good light snack.
google avatar

Hanhie D.

Yelp
What's not to love about Brug?! Great assortment of savory and sweet pastries and bread. I'm currently really loving the onion bread and the cheese mochi balls. I also love the mochi donuts, but sometimes a little oily. It's just all so good. I probably stop by a few times a month to pick up some pastries.

Amy D.

Yelp
This review is for the upstairs/foodcourt location. BRUG bakery has variety of baked items from savory to sweets. I tried many and didn't come across anything that I didn't like. One thing that I have noticed over the years is that there is consistency in the products but not in the service. I visited the store on New Years around 2:30 PM. The cashier "instructed" me to bag the items so he can pull out the receipt. Most cashiers usually bag the items for you or at least ask if I want them to bag the items. I thought it was funny that the guy seemed to be so focused on the work flow and that he probably thought the customer should be part of it. LOL Happy New Year to all!
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
We were in the area twice during this most recent trip to Hawaii and both times, my niece requested the purple bread. It's made with purple sweet potato and there is a hint of that flavor but it isn't too strong. Plus, the bread is really fluffy. That girl has good taste! I also tried the curry puff and bacon/scallion bun. I really loved the curry puff but I might be biased because I'm obsessed with curry puffs in general. The bun was good too but it's super buttery so it would be too much to eat in one sitting. I shared this one with five other adults so that everyone could try it, and even that one bite was super rich. There is another location in Ala Moana but it's much smaller and they have fewer options (i.e. no purple bread). Overall, it's a great option if you want a midday snack or are looking to pick up a quick brekkie for the next day. Tip - if you check in on Yelp and spend a minimum of $10, you can pick out a free pastry item!
google avatar

Skye M.

Yelp
Pastures here are good but the girl working this morning (8/29 9:15am) was really rude

Yelp
Can I just say this will always be the go too for a fast, convenient way to grab and go for a meal. Any meal infect. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a snack! My husband and kids love this place. I almost want to say we go here almost every week or two. This place is so convenient for a fast one stop grab and go meal. Always clean and organized, staff is always friendly here. Don't forget to enter your number for 5 star points!

Nicki M.

Yelp
Please know that when they put the pastries on the shelves they leave the bag open. I was shocked to find that out when i was looking at the pastries in line, The Mall is filled with bacteria that could infect the food you consume. Please take precaution if you're thinking about purchasing something from this company. Honestly, just don't go its expensive and not worth it. I could literally go to 7/11 and get pastries for half the price. Don't understand the hype that everyone was talking about. I purchased the Yumi bread, but sadly had to throw it out because when i bit into it, it tasted rotten and stale. PLEASE AVOID!
google avatar

Kevin ..

Yelp
Love Brug. They have a good assortment of different baked bread items. Right now they have strawberries from Japan! My personal favorites are the Kalbi Dog, Custard pie, and Neko pan. - Minister Baris
google avatar

Julia V.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite bread on the island, it tastes authentically Japanese with its super soft and chewy bread and tasteful flavors that aren't overdone. They have a great variety of breads too. They do start running out of some options so recommend going before 3 pm
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
It's located in the Lanai food court (smaller one compared to the main one on 1st floor), outside of Macys, and around the corner from Apple store. Their bread and baked goods are so good! I love Their curry pan, potato croquette and Mochi donut (black sesame flavor) most. My son likes their melon pan. There are a lot of choices, and I'm sure there'll be something that appeals to your palette, from savory to sweet. One thing I was hoping this Japanese bakery would have was bread with fresh corn and cream in the center. I grew up eating this and I still love it! And I could only find it in Japanese bakeries. The service was pretty fast so even though there was always a line, it moved pretty quickly. They would give you a shopping tote if you spend over $30.
google avatar

Kay L.

Yelp
3 stars for now...I guess I bought the wrong item since everyone raved about the bread! I tried the mochi donut and was disappointed. The donut itself was good, but the frosting on top was just a big no. It was thick and had hardened like those candy melts you find at Michael's. It was rather unpleasant and I don't recommend the mochi donuts at all. I will have to come back and try the bread that everyone is raving about though!

Kenson K.

Yelp
Most of the sliced bread loaves sold out by the time I got here at 11 am. I wanted to try some of the other sweeter ones but the only one left was the toast bread. I went to the Brug at the food court and it seemed to have more sliced bread loaves than this location, including the sweeter loaves. Still, the toast bread was good. Very airy and soft. It's so good when toasted with a light , crunchy crust on the outside and soft warm goodness on the inside.
