I've Traveled to More Than 50 Countries but Something About This Surf Island in the Philippines Hooked Me

"Brunch Spot is new to the Siargao food scene but was quickly one of my favorite restaurants on the island. It’s tucked back off the main road, is fully air-conditioned, and has some of the best hand-pulled noodles I’ve ever had. Don’t let the name fool you — while it started as a “brunch spot,” it now remains open through dinner." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50. The food was really good! I missed having a full American breakfast, and this definitely hit the spot. As a breakfast person, I could eat breakfast food all day — and I loved it here. The burger was also amazing — so big, I could barely fit it in my mouth! The flavors were spot on. The coffee was great too. The staff were warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

One of, if not, my favourite cafe in Siargao! It's become a daily ritual to have my pre-gym coffee and me-time. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The coffee is top quality, not just the beans but the barista knows how to make a wonderful coffee. Food is delicious too! Can't fault it here, I simply love it and will keep coming every day!

this place is more than just a restaurant, it’s a seed always growing and evolving, creating a home away from home, definitely original, food is both nourishing and comforting. You can feel that there’s pride in their staff working there, their smiles, when you enter, hosts are calm and gentle, food selections are not something you find everywhere, experimental, fusion of Asia and the World, stories of how food made them and how they got together, it allows you to discover something new in your palette. And perfect place to catch up with friends and enjoy even just a cup of coffee because of their comfy corners. I would sit next to the window, or with friends by the couches. I tried the biangbiang, was soooo good, and then discovered you can mix pancake and chicken, also i don’t even care about trying eveything out on the menu, i just love the couple who’s behind this dream, they are kind and always brave. They take care of their staff and they work very hard and passionately and they show love what they do. ✨😋💕💕💕💕💕 that’s the secret recipe of all times.

Enjoyed my time dining here. The food is top quality, delicious, very filling and the cocktails are yummy too. Amazing service! Everyone is so nice and friendly. The space feels visually full and cozy, yet there’s still lots of space to enjoy and be comfortable.

The arroz ala cubana tasted like a hug from your favorite tita. All the flavors just work so well together. My other go-tos here are the egg muffin and the best cinnamon rolls in the island, hands down! The staff are always so lovely. Plus points for aircon and fast wifi!

Loved the new food, Arroz a la Cubana on their menu. Filling and delicious 🥰 loved the coffee and the interior of the place. They’re also pet friendly 🐶 which my partner and I love so much!😍

I’m not always one to believe the hype when everyone in town says this or that is the place to go for brunch, but honestly this lived up to the hype! The food was absolutely delicious, with some creative offerings as well. I had the eggplant toast—which was MASSIVE and was loaded up with eggplant spread, feta, pomelo, crispy fried bits, and a poached egg. One of the most creative toasts I’ve ever had! My friend had the pancakes and they were also divine—dripping in a caramel-y syrup and piled high! Missing desserts back home, I also had a piece of the apple piece for dessert and it was one of the best western desserts I’ve had in Asia (if you have a sweet tooth like me you know the struggle of finding western pastries or baked goods that are decent in Asia). All in all I totally recommend this place! The atmosphere was nice, open-air (but a bit chilly in the AC) and modern western vibes. Located behind the main road down a small alley — look for the wooden sign they put at the street.

A lovely little place. Very clean, good friendly service. We had the chicken burger and chicken adobo. Both were very flavorful. Coffee is good here also.
