It wasn't that bad.
It was a small place, a couple had to sit and eat at the same table with us.
There was one guy being a waiter, cashier and host.
He tried his best.
They had bottled water on the menu, but ran out(it was 11:30 am.) I had to leave back out and walk to a store to get water.
Probably for the best, their water would have cost $5.
The coffee was like hotel room coffee for $5, wasn't worth it.
Received our food and had to wait for utensils because he was doing 10 things at once.
The food was okay, I had the S.G.G. I didn't really like the cornmeal breading on my fish.
It was okay though.
I did like their breakfast potatoes though, they were perfect! My sister-in-law had chicken and waffles... which she enjoyed.
I tasted her waffles, it was really good.
The portions were really good as well as the presentation.
The music was too explicit (a few songs were strongly inappropriate.)
You have children, families, church goers, all different walks of life coming into your establishment. You need to have a variety of music, if you choose to play music.
To top it off, they automatically add 18% gratuity. The ONLY reason I didn't make a fuss was because he did everything by himself.
Overall, the experience was not pleasing enough to return.
Update/Edited Review:
I was just going through my receipts and purchases.
I just noticed I was charged an extra $5 for something called passion.
I don't know what this is and neither of us had it.
Please be sure to check your receipt thoroughly before leaving.
That's on me!
