"Although its name sounds like bad food podcast, Northern Liberties’ Brunchaholics is pretty great. They make good sweet potato pancakes, french toast apple cobbler, and everyone sings along to Lauryn Hill between sips of lemonade. Plus, the place is open every day except for Monday. So you don't have to wait until the weekend to make the hard choice between crab, shrimp, and fried fish gumbo over grits or a cheesy short rib omelet large enough for three." - candis mclean, alison kessler

It wasn't that bad. It was a small place, a couple had to sit and eat at the same table with us. There was one guy being a waiter, cashier and host. He tried his best. They had bottled water on the menu, but ran out(it was 11:30 am.) I had to leave back out and walk to a store to get water. Probably for the best, their water would have cost $5. The coffee was like hotel room coffee for $5, wasn't worth it. Received our food and had to wait for utensils because he was doing 10 things at once. The food was okay, I had the S.G.G. I didn't really like the cornmeal breading on my fish. It was okay though. I did like their breakfast potatoes though, they were perfect! My sister-in-law had chicken and waffles... which she enjoyed. I tasted her waffles, it was really good. The portions were really good as well as the presentation. The music was too explicit (a few songs were strongly inappropriate.) You have children, families, church goers, all different walks of life coming into your establishment. You need to have a variety of music, if you choose to play music. To top it off, they automatically add 18% gratuity. The ONLY reason I didn't make a fuss was because he did everything by himself. Overall, the experience was not pleasing enough to return. Update/Edited Review: I was just going through my receipts and purchases. I just noticed I was charged an extra $5 for something called passion. I don't know what this is and neither of us had it. Please be sure to check your receipt thoroughly before leaving. That's on me!

The food was underwhelming, and the atmosphere was lacking a social presence. They were out of ice, champagne, and several other items. The service was deplorable, and the tables were dirty. Even the salt and pepper shakers were dirty. Never again 😒

Overall the food was pretty decent ♥️ my fiancée got the turkey sausage and that was actually so good! & loved how our order came with French toast too ! But my “ beef hot sausage “ was super dry and filled with red pepper flakes.

Went in for a bday brunch! The parking lot was full to capacity, but shared with other businesses. The restaurant was packed! Seemed like every seat was taken. The greeting wasn't the best, but we were seated after about 2 minutes, in the bar area. Or waitress seemed new, but really sweet. The food took a bit long to come out, but it was delicious! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. They had the little robots rolling around serving people their plates! The place was really nice, and nothing was overpriced. Sitting at the bar we could see in the kitchen and everything looked so appealing I wanted to try everything! My only complaints would be the greeting and the time from ordering to eating. All of the waiters and waitresses were really nice.

I came here when it was run as Brunchaholics and the new Sunrise Social management has really stepped it up! More seating, a lot cleaner, more food and drink range. Christina was our server and she was great! Got a to go order earlier this week and after eating I knew I had to bring my family to try it again yesterday and we were all very pleased with everything overall. Will be coming back for sure!

We hosted a 16th birthday Brunch at Sunrise Social, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredible—friendly, professional, and so helpful. A special shoutout to the manager, who was extremely attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. The space itself was just right for our event—stylish, comfortable, and had such a great vibe. The atmosphere really added to the celebration and made it feel extra special. And the food? DELICIOUS! Every guest raved about it. I highly recommend Sunrise Social for any special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue!

I had a wonderful experience at Sunrise Social! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was fresh and flavorful. What really made our visit stand out was our server, Agali. She was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and attentive from start to finish. She answered all of our questions with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s not every day you come across such genuine service. Agali truly elevated our dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a culinary experience, this might not be your spot. The food was… let’s just say, forgettable at best and questionable at worst. My honey butter biscuits felt like it was cooked more by committee than a chef, and the seasoning must’ve taken the day off. BUT — and it’s a big but — the music saved the night. The music ambiance was warm, and I was clearly there for the tunes, not the table fare. Honestly, it felt less like a brunch and more like a live music lounge that happened to serve food on the side. If you’re hungry, maybe eat before — but if you’re looking for a spot to unwind with mimosas & good company and great sounds, this place hits the right notes.
