On the Grid : Brunchbar

"If the idea is that breakfast is only for morning routines, the Brunchbar may entice you to enjoy every meal brunch style. It may even be the reason you choose to eat brunch over eating breakfast at home. Just off of Kloof Street, this minimalist, halaal-friendly brunch bar is the new kid on the block. It offers classic breakfast items like toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches, French toast, quiches and for the more adventurous, brunch nachos. No, this is ‘nacho usual breakfast spot’! (too much? we love a good pun). With random specials and the occasional free coffee, this friendly brunch all day bar is sure to give your breakfast table a run for its morning coffee." - Yellow Door Collective

As soon as my wife and I walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome in from , Appetizer (Mozzarella Sticks) Amazing, Chicken and waffles( the best in the state by far) Filet mignon breakfast (to die for) steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. No steak sauce necessary!!!! I’ve lived in this state for 40 years and have never had a restaurant blow me away. Until today!!!! Brunch Bar hands down the best Top quality food, top quality service, great prices.

I came to Brunchbar because a friend insisted I had to try their Filet Mignon Steak Salad — and wow, they weren’t kidding. What I thought would be just another salad turned out to be a restaurant-level entrée with serious finesse. The filet mignon was tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. Each bite melted in my mouth. It came beautifully plated on a bed of crisp greens, sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh avocado slices, and the most delightful house-made mandarin dressing that added a subtle citrusy brightness without overpowering the steak. I honestly wasn’t expecting this level of execution — especially at a brunch spot! But the experience didn’t stop with the food. The ambience? Warm and elegant. The table was set with filtered water already waiting, and a curated caddy of condiments including pink Himalayan salt, freshly ground pepper, and artisanal hot sauces — little touches that really showed me they care about the details. The lighting was soft and inviting, making it the kind of place where you want to linger and savor. It’s rare to find a place that nails food and atmosphere, but Brunchbar delivers both with style. I’m already planning my next visit — and this time, I’m bringing friends. This spot deserves all the buzz it’s getting, and then some.

First time here and didn’t really have a great experience. We were a party of 3. Service was really slow and disorganized. It was on a Sunday so I get the wait. But when we finally got seated and ordered food, the food took a long time. The customers that got seated after us and ordered after us got their food first before we did. When the food got to us, we weren’t even given utensils first, so we had to ask for it. When I finally got my Eggs Benedict it was a bit over cook and not as runny as I would like it. So the food was not really worth the wait. The waiter and waitress didn’t come back to check on us after serving the food. Our water glass pitcher was empty by the time we got done eating. I wouldn’t come back again to try other food and would not recommend to anyone if they really care about service.

Google
This is a small spot in a neighborhood strip mall. Expect a slight wait if you aren’t showing up early. Food is fabulous, even if you’re not a breakfast eater - there’s plenty of options all around. The most popular dish, chicken and waffles with Jack Daniel syrup is truly to die for. +++ for the amazing staff. Super kind and fun for a Saturday morning brunch!

We had a great experience at Brunchbar. The food was good. We had chicken and pancakes which were tasty and the chocolate muffin was a nice touch. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing and since we came in early it wasn’t too busy. Huge shoutout to our waitress Michaela who was absolutely fantastic and made our visit even better. Definitely a great spot for brunch in the area.

I came here with my boyfriend for my birthday and it was amazing! I got the spicy chicken omelette and it was delicious, portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable for what you get. The waiter was very friendly too. Will definitely be coming back!

Kiki was AMAZING!! She sat us quickly and was very friendly, kind and attentive. This was our first time here since we just landed from Texas. We wanted something tasty and the Brunch Bar DID NOT disappoint! We had the chicken & waffles, steak and eggs and coffee. Everything was fantastic. The steak was tender, rhe chicken was well seasoned, the hadbrowns were SPOT ON, the eggs were fluffy and fresh. I highly recommend this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brunch Bar replaced The Waffler less than a year ago. This is what the neighborhood needed, excellent full menu with lunch and breakfast served all day. And they have five dollar mimosas! We had the veggie Benedict, avocado sandwich, and BB breakfast - not only were they beautiful, they were also all 10/10 flavor.

Yelp
I met an old friend here for breakfast. We had lots of catching up to do, and hours of talking. The staff was very kind about us lingering over our food and refilling our coffees for a long time. The food was standard breakfast fare, done very well. If I lived in the area, I'd probably find myself being a regular at this place

Yelp
Second time I have been there and now I fee like i need to say something. I got their fried chicken sandwich but it was underwhelming. It was too dry. Actually the waitress messed up my order and at first I received the Club Sandwich. Honestly should have kept my mouth shut because that was it! Anyways I give it a 3 because they obviously need more staff. Its small and only ONE waitress for all the tables. Also I ordered ice and never received it. Again not blaming the waitress not her fault but super understaffed. Food is okay, nothing that knocks your socks off. Personally not worth the wait.

Yelp
It takes 45 minutes to get food. This is not coincidence; I had lunch 3 times so far and I got my food 45 minutes after I ordered. The restaurant was not that busy; 5-6 tables were filled.

Yelp
BrunchBar is a cute little place for brunch. Menu items are good and vegetarian friendly. Service is good. We had to wait to be seated but I guess that's because this place is good. Quantity is good -and food tastes good. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
Great place for brunch!! They've been on my bookmarks since they've opened, but they're a bit out of my way. I arrived fairly early on a Saturday and there was one table left! Overall good vibe in the restaurant. Things were crazy busy, but they managed to keep things clean and the service was friendly. It was not fast. It took a long time to place an order. I went with the veggie sandwich and my brunch buddy went with some sort of omelet. Table timing was awful! He got his meal about 10 min. before I did. The sandwich was really good! The only real complaint I have about it is that the tofu pieces were very small for the sandwich so there were a lot of bites that didn't have any. Very generous portions though and it was my meal for the entire day - I left stuffed! I'd be willing to come back again, but only if I could get here early enough to be one of the first tables. Or if they got more staff -- whatever it takes to cut those wait times down!

Yelp
This place has been on our radar for a while but because of the long wait on the weekends opted out until now. We came for lunch on a Tuesday and it was still busy but not too bad. The place is small but lively. Our waitress was friendly and nice. We ordered: Steak and eggs: 5/5 for the price, the portion was really good. It came with eggs, steak, a salad, hash browns, and bread. The steak was so tender I was surprised. They had salt on the side and it was a perfect compliment. We asked for scrambled eggs so our kids can have some and they were fine. The hash browns was really good as well, subtle crunch on the outside but soft on the inside. Chicken and waffles 3/5: this was supposedly the most popular dish but I was slightly disappointed. The waffles has a velvety texture that I'm not a fond of and it's a little dry. I was hoping for some crisps. The syrup has a very strong scent (alcoholic??) that I can only have a little of at a time. The chicken was fine, it was tender, but I'm not sure why it's KFC chicken. Probably just a preference in taste. Overall, it was a good brunch place and I can see why it's popular and I would definitely recommend people to eat here.

Yelp
I fell for the yelp hype and left disappointed. The food here looks pretty, and the salad is actually quite good.... But the food itself is kinda bland and just meh. The staffing here was terrible. We had to ask for our check, waited forever to have our order taken, she had to ask for our order several times and couldn't answer any questions. They really need to look into this aspect asap. Overall, there are much better places to go, but the portions are large here if nothing else.

Yelp
We went to Brunchbar this morning around 9am. We were promptly greeted and seated by the server. I wish I had caught her name. She was GREAT, excellent customer service. The food did not disappoint. I got a Salmon Omelet and my husband got a Breakfast Waffle Combo. Food was delicious and the portions were big. We highly recommend this place! I see a couple of people posted about them having high prices. I don't think this restaurant is priced higher than others at all. The food was fresh, delicious, hefty portions and rhe price was fair. We were completely satisfied.

Yelp
Wow, we've been meaning to stop into this place and finally made it happen. It was exciting for us to find somewhere that was open at after 2 o'clock. I found that a lot of restaurants close between the lunch and dinner hour so by the time we wanted to leave the house, we would've had 45 minutes to eat if we went somewhere else. Upon sitting down, my son pointed out there was pink Himalayan sea salt on the table, and also the ketchup was organic. We were very pleased. The menu boards, walking in were fun to read, I always like seeing what the stand out items on the menu are. Service was really good, for the Korean chicken sandwich. We realize there was barely any chicken on the sandwich. Our server was very gracious in rectifying this situation right away . The different plates that they use were impactful and exciting. The balsamic dressing on the spring salad was really good! Not just any straightforward balsamic dressing and the salad had some mandarin oranges on it. Very fun. The crinkle cut fries on the plate were plentiful. We tried the B&B breakfast. The bacon was very floppy and chewy. The sourdough was tasty. The hashbrowns were plentiful and delicious very buttery and crispy on the outside the hashbrowns and the salad had a generous serving. The eggs were done to perfection. How very impressive that the lobster eggs Benedict had the lobster tail right on the plate! My son really enjoyed this and looking at it was a feast for the eyes very colorful and enticing. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Nice breakfast spot. Easy parking and just outside downtown Bellevue. Only a few employees but the staff were very friendly and they work hard. A little tight inside for a stroller. Food was great and pricing very reasonable. I liked the little salad they give you with a breakfast plate. Ohh and they have secret aardvark sauce (the perfect bfast hot sauce)!

Yelp
Bit of a wait for a table, food takes a bit to get to you as well. Restaurant is busy, loud and at times felt like it was under staffed but they did the best they could. Ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and the croissant was a little too toasted in the way that made it hard to eat, the sausage was two small links, eggs were fluffy and the cheese was just the shredded kind that didn't cover the eggs. Ordered a side of hashbrowns and that was probably one of the best things I had- greasy, crispy, delicious.

Yelp
Was in Bellevue for a day and went to Brunchbar for brunch. It was a Saturday morning and the 4 of us were seated in 5mins of arriving without reservation. Here's what we ordered: :: K-fried chicken - it was SO good! fried chicken was crispy and not greasy. It came with a chipotle sauce on the spice which paired well. :: chicken and waffle - again, the chicken was perfectly crispy without being greasy and the waffle were very soft. They had a maple syrup and another sauce which add a bit of spiciness. Really liked it! :: Mushroom and sausage omelette - came with a side of crispy shredded hash browns, a cheesy omelette, salad, and two sauces. The eggs were fluffy! Their space was a good size but I'm not sure if they would be able to accomodate a super big group.

Yelp
We have passed by this place multiple times and finally tried it recently. it's a cute place with great service. We got the Classic Benedict, Veggie Omelet, Mocha and Hot Chocolate. I loved the Hot Chocolate, hubby liked the Mocha. The Classic Benedict was great, I liked that the ham was grilled, added a little extra to the Benedict. The Veggie Omelet was good, lots of fresh veggies in the omelet. The salad that came with the omelet and the benedict was fresh and dressed just right. It was a great breakfast.

Yelp
Cozy little brunch spot in Lake Hills. I stopped by for a quick brunch on a Saturday morning with a party of 3 and we were able to get seated after a short wait. They don't have a whole lot of tables here, so do be prepared to wait a bit if you come during peak hours. I got the lake hills omelet, which came with hash browns, a salad, and 2 small pieces of bread. Taste of everything was great, omelet was cooked perfectly with a good amount of filling. The omelet was $19 I believe, which is a bit on the pricier side but I think acceptable for the amount of food which you get. Service could have been better - most staff members were quite nice, but some were also a bit dismissive IMO. They still took care of our needs, but would have been nice to have a bit of a friendlier attitude.

Yelp
New favourite brunch spot! our brunch chronicles... aka the 15-mimosa morning we're still thinking about. I called ahead and got a reservation and they had kept two big tables ready since we were a big group. It's a small space but popular I must say! We got: Fresh fruit waffles & pancakes (10/10, would dream about again) Chicken & waffles (crispy meets juicy perfection) Breakfast burrito that means business Sandwich heaven: chicken pesto, veggie, AND mozzarella - flavor-packed and stacked right! Safe to say... we sampled the entire menu. No regrets. Just happy taste buds and mimosa-fueled laughs. It is officially on our repeat list. Already planning our next visit

Yelp
Disappointed Brunch Experience - Wouldn't Recommend We were really looking forward to kicking off our Seattle trip with a great brunch, but unfortunately, this spot missed the mark. The food was underwhelming overall -- the French fries were cold and hard, and even the syrup had a strange aftertaste. The coffee was especially disappointing -- tasted burnt, and despite claiming to have Splenda, they didn't, so we didn't end up drinking it. Oddly, everything came with greens -- even the pancakes -- and they wouldn't allow any substitutions, which made no sense and just felt inflexible. The only halfway decent item was the chicken tenders, though they were fried a bit too hard. On top of all that, the customer service left a lot to be desired. This was our first stop in Seattle and unfortunately not a great start. We definitely expected better.

Yelp
- delicious hash brown!! - Food: 4 stars Service: 3 stars Price: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars Overall: 3.5 stars It was a bit past noon and there were 3 other groups dining here. We waited a bit to get seated since there was only one waitress available. The interior looks identical to waffler, which was the restaurant that this place took over. The menu was definitely more interesting than the old place as they have more choices, even a korean fried chicken sandwich. We ordered the lake hills scramble with hash browns and English muffin ($19), and a spicy chicken omelette with hash brown and garlic baguette ($19). The pricing is high, which is probably why the place is quite empty most of the time. The old place had the same issue as far as I could remember. Our food came quickly and mine was more of a Mexican style omelette which comes with sour cream and salsa at the side. The hash brown was smaller but it was just a thin layer, so it was super crispy and good. I also like the English muffin more as the garlic baguette doesn't have much garlic sauce/taste. The name of my dish is a bit misleading as the chicken wasn't spicy at all. Overall we enjoyed the food here and took about 1/3 of each plate home as we can't finish. They have two individual restrooms here with a baby changing station.

Yelp
Great place to get brunch for a great price! Friendly service, pretty crowded, took a bit longer than I'd like for the food to come but I'd say it's worth it! The lobster and the steak were cooked perfectly!, I highly recommend the spot and would come back
google avatar

Yelp
We ate here for the second time today and were blown away with the food and service. The food is fresh and very tasty. Today we ordered the lobster Benedict and the veggie scramble. Both were delicious and the food presentation was amazing! Previously we had tried the veggie benedicts which was delicious as well. The atmosphere is chic and casual! Don't miss their $5 mimosa!
google avatar

Yelp
Our waitress was very nice! It was not busy at all mid day mid week. Tried a steak salad and chicken and waffles and both were super good! Will come back

Yelp
There's very limited breakfast spots in Bellevue and my parents wanted to spend some family time so this was a convenient place. I had totally forgot that I came a long time ago with friends. We got a chicken sausage omelet, breakfast waffle combo, and spicy chicken scramble. They all came with some combination of salad, bread, bacon, or egg sides. I really liked how refreshing the salad was. The canned peaches made it sweet and the sauce was just enough to cover the bitter parts of raw vegetable. Loved the onions. The hash was just standard, ketchup definitely made it better. Everything tasted amazing except for the scramble. I couldn't make out what it was supposed to taste like. I think the peppers are supposed to be spicy but they were bitter and it kind of conflicted with the rest of the dish. Server was super sweet.
google avatar

Cristina B.

Yelp
The foodf was delicious and substantial but I had to deduct a star for the wait and uncertainty on how long the wait would be when we arrived. We checked in and it seemed like it would move quickly, and we were seated within 20-30 mins but our food took another 30 after ordering which was unfortunate. We also witnessed a situation where a runner gave an order to the wrong person, and the right patron had to wait for 25 mins for it to be remade for her despite her insisting she needed to leave. We ended up having to ask for a late checkout from our hotel because our meal took SO LONG but it was a delicious meal and the hot chai lattes were fantastic. Just don't come if you have any time constraints and with the high ceilings was a bit loud.
google avatar

Casey K.

Yelp
It's nice to have a brunch restaurant on the Eastside, though I wish it didn't come with Eastside prices the food was solid though and was filling. My eggs benedict was cooked perfectly and there were multiple pieces of Canadian bacon - or perhaps just ham? The hashbrowns were fine but it didn't have the same hit as that crispy diner hashbrowns, but it did taste fresh. I would say that the menu isn't the most extensive but you will find traditional breakfast/brunch items. The service was fine though it seemed like there was one server for all the tables.
google avatar

Hailey M.

Yelp
This is a cute little brunch spot in Bellevue, which I think is something that is really lacking in the area. I'll start by saying the food was very good. We really enjoyed everything we got. The problem I have with this brunch spot were the wait times. We got there around 12 which we expected a wait, but the problem was we couldn't leave. The system they had for the waitlist required you to stay there. The restaurant is very small, so we were waiting outside without seats for 2+ hours, with no indication whether we were close to being seated or not. I think it would really benefit this restaurant to use yelp waitlist so people are able to check where they are in line so it's not a guessing game. I think it has great potential!!

Yelp
The space is cute, the service was friendly and the food was fantastic. I LOVE a breakfast spot and I always order the "basic breakfast" (eggs, meat, bread, potatoes) my first time at a new spot. If they can't nail the basics, I don't trust the rest. The bacon was perfectly fried. The pork sausage was incredibly flavorful. The hash browns were perfectly golden. The salad was a surprise and quite a nice addition. My eggs were properly cooked to order. The drip coffee was tasty, fresh and well-balanced. The garlic baguette was good, but I will absolutely get the English muffin next time. My sister shared a piece of hers and it was awesome. For my money, this was the best basic breakfast I've had in the Seattle area besides *maybe* Maltby Cafe, and this is much, much easier to get to. All in all, I can't wait to go back and try some of their other offerings (especially keen on the benedicts, which looked fantastic as I saw them carried out to other tables).

Yelp
BrunchBar was ok for us. I don't think I'd wait again 40 minutes or order the lobster Benedict. The lobster was very tough and overcooked. The hollandaise sauce was tasty and so was the toast. The four shrimp on the Benedict were also overcooked. It was obvious that the servers were shorthanded. We ordered our drinks and meal right away, but the drinks didn't arrive for 15 minutes and were brought by a different waiter. The decor is nice, but it's very noisy inside. Waiter never came by to check on us or refill our coffees or water. We had to flag them down to get it to-go box and our check. The reviews seem to be a lot of fuss for a mediocre restaurant.

Yelp
This newly opened brunch bar is delicious and I highly recommend you go. We went at 1:30 on a Sunday and had no issues getting in There are options on the menu for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten-free We ordered the steak fried egg, the waffle, and the BB basic breakfast with eggs, ham, hashbrowns, salad and gluten-free toast It was a great value for the high-quality and tastiness of the food. It's not often that we have breakfast out that we really enjoy, and we really did enjoy this The waffle was the best my son has had yet. The ham was a really nice quality and very tasty. Eggs were made exactly as ordered and delicious. And the hashbrowns which are shredded, were perfectly cooked - Not too greasy The service was good and she was there when we needed her. The place is a little small, but it's nice for what it is. Actually, I feel like the food is a level above the ambience. And there's no issue with the ambience. It's just that the food is so high-quality and good. And the portions they give you are very generous Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day so we're always looking for a good place on the east side of the water and we have found one. We will be back

Yelp
Great little spot that serves breakfast and brunch items all day. We arrived at 11:15 and snagged on of the 2 open 4 tops. After that, the place was constantly full. I can see why, as the food was delicious. Had the Waffle combo with ham. They were very generous with the ham and the waffle was just perfect. Love their special house made honey bourbon syrup. My wife had the breakfast burrito which had lots of veggies inside hash browns and a fried egg. She really loved it We'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Good choice of dishes for brunch. The breakfast burrito I got was huge and partly ended up for breakfast the next day. Busy place, friendly wait staff. Parking was full despite being a large lot (but servicing lot of stores)

Yelp
Excited to try the Brunchbar, very convenient since our Bible study is in the same complex. I tried the veggie omelet with hashbrowns. Nice portion size & delicious. A little too much onion but still good. Crispy hash browns. Garlic baguette toast was also yummy. Everyone seem to enjoy their dishes. I want to try their pancake & waffle next. I feel that their menu is too large, need to focus on brunch items. We had a hard time choosing due to the large menu. They even have pasta! Also a half sandwich & soup combo would be nice as well as half size omelet plus one pancake combo. Freshly brewed coffee was also good. Looking forward to the next visit!

Yelp
Cute little spot for breakfast/brunch in Lake Hills. The servers are always pleasant and attentive and our food has always been well made and is there's greens they are always fresh. Space is limited inside so during busy hours you have to wait outside. Plenty of parking but it is a busy location. Would definitely recommend because it's our go to for a good meal
google avatar

Yelp
Bellevue needs a few good brunch restaurants, and this place answers the mail. Food was quite good, staff were very nice and attentive. The server did seem a little overworked, but she had a good attitude and was very nice. It seemed a little overpriced, but it seems like most Bellevue restaurants are. Interior was nice and cozy, but seemed a little "generic".

Yelp
Finally a great brunch place in Bellevue! Definitely a welcome addition to options for food on the weekend. Came with my toddler and baby. No kids menu that we saw but easy to share things and order from the sides. Saw some reviews mention prices but it is more than fair for the portion size. I ordered the Lake Hills Scramble which was amazing! Packed with fresh veggies, cheese and chorizo it was absolutely delicious. The order came with a small salad, side (hash browns or fruit cup). My husband got the mushroom and sausage omelette, also loved it. We got a side of the Korean fried chicken as well. I was expecting small tender strips but each piece was huge! This was so good!! Tender, juicy, great flavor and a light batter. My toddler loved this and ate 1.5 pieces by himself!! (This is a glowing review for a picky 2yr old haha) We will definitely be back! Excited to make this a regular place when we're in the area.

Yelp
Honestly I have to give this restaurant a 5 star rating You wait maybe for 10 minutes but it is so worth it! The brunch was delicious delicious you eat everything on your plate Service five star - they pay attention Make sure when you go there you are really hungry because they give you a lot of food delicious food it looks beautiful on the plate and it's I'm gonna be one of their best customers

Yelp
Bellevue's best breakfast! The food was uniquely outstanding and the service was excellent.

Yelp
This place has potential but service was so poor and inconsistent that it was not a good experience. Put out names down but the hostess didn't seem to be using the waitlist system. We were seated fairly quickly, and they took our coffee and food order quickly. Then it was just waiting watching people who were seated after us get their drinks first. One dish came out relatively quickly, but we had to ask for silverware. Then we waited another 45 minutes before I told the waitress that we needed to leave for an appointment. It seemed the kitchen was understaffed and instead of someone helping them out, they have one barista focused only on coffee orders and waitstaff just standing around chatting. We had to ask for our coffee three times but they were quick to rush the check out before we got our food. Management needs to take a look at how their staff is serving, set goals for getting entire meals out together and quickly.

Yelp
We tried out this cute little brunch spot today, and it was delicious. The owner/chef talked with us about our food and about this being a soft launch, (waiting on their liquor license) so the hours are limited, but once they get that they will be open later. The service was great and the food was delicious. My son got a pancake that literally melted in your mouth, chef said the pancake is made with a blend of flours to ease digestion, the Carmel glaze and berry compote were made fresh in house, both absolutely amazing. I got the Tenderloin steak sandwich it was succulent, the flavoring was to die for as the steak was tender the peppers, onions and mushrooms complimented each other with every bite. I will definitely be coming back, what a lovely addition to the Lakehills village.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was great. But the wait after ordering was insane 40+ minutes.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food but the wait time was very very long. It didn't take a long time to get seated but me and my buddy waited almost 40 minutes before our food came. And later it took us a while to get our check and then to pay our bills. The servers were nice but I think they can work on efficiency and perhaps streamline a bit more in the restaurant.

Yelp
Awful experience, ordered 3 simple menu items and was assured it would take no more than 10 minutes. Sat there waiting for upwards of 45 minutes as I watched people who came after me get served, while servers avoided me. Don't want to assume why that was, but I was certainly the minority in the establishment. So take that as you will. Food could be good, but you lose your appetite after an experience like this.

Yelp
They expanded their menu and was told they were going to stay open late til 9 instead of 7pm and may be putting hamburgers on the menu soon. Every time I visit Bellevue from Texas, this is our go to breakfast place. Service is great and food tastes great. Normal American food than other places that are mostly Asian. Hard to find good food up here but this place does a great job offering a combination of breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Yelp
Here is a place revisited in touring my 95 year old mom around Bellevue hunting food! Brunchbar is a new restaurant in the space where Wafflehouse (or something like that) used to be. The person greeting us swiftly adapted to our offbeat banter, sat us sensibly (95 remember) and brewed mom a new hot pot of coffee! Mom's waffle was spectacular with tiny dribbles of chocolate & caramel, then a choice of berry compote or Jack Daniels honey syrup. My avocado sandwich was fresh and balanced AND included a significant side salad...YES! Relaxed setting, wood, metal and poured concrete floor. Good lighting. We will return!

Yelp
The chicken was so tender and I just love how it mixed with the waffles. Also had some mimosas which were amazing.

Yelp
Have you ever wanted breakfast for dinner, brunch for dinner, lunch for dinner or any combination of these. This is your place. I grew up close by on Phantom Lake and it is always good to come by the old neighborhood and find a place like Brunchbar. The menu is large with traditional breakfast items, lunch/dinner choices and they all sound delicious. Unfortunately we were able to sample two items today. Mandarin chicken salad and pancakes with fresh fruit. Both were absolutely amazing in both taste and presentation. The service was very prompted as were greeted at the door and shown of our table. My daughter is a pancake afficionado and this passed her test. As for the Mandarin chicken salad, wow fresh leafy lettuce korean style fried chicken and a lovely light Mandarin salad dressing. The restaurant is not a large place, but wellappointed and comfortable. This is definitely a place that needs to be tried by everyone and it is good to see the area has changed but it now has a excellent restaurant.

Yelp
We actually loved this place, until today. I came with my wife and daughter We each had a $18 entree. My wife and daughter each had an iced teas and I had a Coke Zero. Three drinks costing $3 each. At that price point, we thought there were free refills on drinks We each asked for one round of refills. When we got the bill, it was $36 for two iced teas and a Coke Zero. Insane. Not coming back.

Yelp
Great all-day lunch, dinner and brunch place with some unique brunch items like lobster eggs benedict. The chicken and waffles was fantastic with their own unique sauces for both. It located in the same mall as the library and several Indian and Chinese restaurants with plenty of parking.

Yelp
The Mandarin Orange Salad with Korean Fried chicken was absolutely delicious, and my friend said the pancakes and bacon were divine! Friendly service as well. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Ok..this is the second time coming to Brunchbar. Listen, People, let's be real here. There are not many breakfast places around East Bellevue anymore, let alone DELICIOUS ones! So, I'm begging you GET YOUR BUTTS IN THE SEATS and support this delightful little restaurant AND LET ME TELL YOU WHY!!! You are greeted and served with genuine friendliness! The menu is diverse and interesting along with familiar favorites. Salad at breakfast may seem weird at first, but TRUST! It WORKS as a palate cleanser and refresher as well as being good for your body. Now. On to the actual food. HOLY MOLY DELICIOUS! Not only is it delicious, many of the ingredients are LOCALLY SOURCED, so when you eat here, you are also supporting local businesses and farmers! My husband orders the Lobster Benedict. BOTH TIMES it has come out perfect and we all know how hard it is to get the perfect poached egg! I sampled a bite myself and being the uppity foodie that I am, was blown away! The hollandaise was velvety and beautiful, lobster perfectly cooked! Their hash browns are perfectly crunchy, bacon or sausage, whichever you choose is perfectly crunchy, eggs are prepared with precision and the Belgian waffle is light and fluffy. They also make a light and airy Belgian waffle that comes with their own homemade honey bourbon syrup that is out of this world! So...for a delightfully delicious, happy and generous experience, PLEASE GO HERE!! I love this place! It's become our new go to eatery that's just down the street! No need for Redmond or Kirkland or braving the hideous Bellevue traffic! We have a perfect little jewel right here! OHOH! I almost forgot AMBIANCE! It's an industrial type of vibe going on that is softened by lighting and you have your own little lamp and bottle of water at your table. The food comes out on these enormous slav like plates that are the coolest thing I've ever seen..I think the servers are going to seriously build up some Schwarzenegger arms carrying these around all day cuz I'm tellin ya they're HEAVY! Anyway, very cool atmosphere!
