"A friendly neighbourhood spot, Bruno’s straddles the line between bar and Italian café. Hockey and soccer are two of the big draws at what might be the coolest, calmest, and most collected sports bar in the city." - Eater Staff

"This go-to Italian sports bar is already a go-to spot for Premier League soccer football, so unsurprisingly, it will screen a hefty portion of the World Cup — and it opens at the bright hour of 8 a.m. daily (and serves coffee, too)." - Tim Forster

Great place to watch the Habs lose or the Als dominate. Whatever sport you are into, they have it in one of the 18 screens you can see from your table.

Google
reluctant to leave a 5 star review because I want to keep this place for myself! It’s so homie, hospitality is so good, trendy cool in a relaxed way, they gave us a free tiramisu for a bday that fed like 25 people. Absolutely iconic establishment

Friendliest bunch of people while we were out of town visiting, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable immediately. Will absolutely be back every time visiting Montreal. 100/10. Anna and Mina are absolute gems. Lovely.

Wow! Bruno is such a good host and owner of this cute Italian bar!! I went to watch UEFA Champions League and came for a specific game, Bruno did everything for me from selecting the game in one of the tv’s till getting me the best location at the bar and serving me amazing beer with great Italian ambience!! Thank you so much Bruno! I highly recommend this bar! I felt like I was thrown to a bar in the middle of Italy 😍🇮🇹

Google
The place to go for a football or soccer match, vibe is always on point. Free popcorn and well priced beer.

Rude hostess, didn't bring water. To greeting, we specifically came to watch the Milan game, and you'd think for an Italian bar theyrdjave the game, the TV kept turning offend we kept asking them to turn it on multiples times. Ace was dead and had a strange smell. Highly bot recommended

Google
Friendly and cozy sport/coffee bar. The waiter and owner were very friendly and accommodating. The place is small (25-30 peopleish) but the screens are everywhere with multiple sports for you to follow. We were a group of 6 and went to watch the hot match between Man Utd and Liverpool. The whole experience was very enjoyable.

Yelp
Never dealt with worse customer service in my life. I called beforehand to see if they were playing the NBA Playoff game. I was told "Definitely. Come." I get there and ask the waiter if they are playing the game. I'm told to sit at the bar and they would put the game on. I sit there for 25 minutes. I finally ask the same waiter what the deal is. He goes "sorry, we have to wait for another game to finish. Should be another 30 minutes." Mind you there are 8 TVs in the bar. This place is a JOKE. Do not go here.

Yelp
I initially wanted to watch the Sweden vs England world cup at Bishop and Baggs but they were already full by 8:30am so had to quickly find somewhere else to go too. I did a quick google search and this place came up. I was really impressed with this place, they had lots of screens, breakfast options (even though they usually don't), and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Ordered some coffee, chocolate milk, croissants with ham and cheese, a grilled cheese with ham, and they had a panneton cake as an option for dessert otherwise they had Nutella for toast or croissants. Will definitely come back to see the England vs Belgium match this Saturday. Cash only.

Yelp
Hands down, the best sport bar for watching football (soccer), and hockey matches in Montreal. I gues NFL and other sports are guaranteed here. I just watched 6 soccer matches simultaneously, Champions League games. Thank you Bruno, wherever you are. Their food is ok, but you can enjoy tons of sport matches with a beer here. Ambience is nice, the place is neat, the service is good, and the prices are on spot. If you like sports, getting hyped, and love sandwiches, you will find Bruno's Sports Bar like bottle of water in the desert. Necessary and mandatory.

Yelp
Go here. This is the chilliest, most laid back bar I've ever been to in any country. No matter what you're in for - beer and sports fans, a quiet drink and a quick bite, a latte and some time on your laptop - this is the spot. You literally can't feel awkward here regardless of your age or peer group. For me fellow soccer fans - they will open early for the premier league matches. When I was in town I looked all over for a bar opening at 7:30am - Liverpool had the early match that week. The bartender at Bruno's had the Premier League schedule and was making signs to put in the window showing kickoff times for all the matches. It was damn perfect.

Yelp
This bar deserves an update, and I'm going for the full five stars even though the chairs are kind of uncomfortable and it's a crowded dive with lottery machines in the back. Because this is my favourite kind of sports bar in the whole world. Incredibly friendly staff who can make excellent sliced meat sandwiches but don't mind if you bring poutine and hot dogs over from the Nouveau System diner next door. They'll bring you cheap beers and shots fast and constant and with no pressure and a smile, and sometimes during Habs games they'll pass around a box with all the players' cards and you pick one and if your guy scores you get a free drink. There are TVs pretty much everywhere you look, even outside which is funny because it's a tiny bar on a street with few other bars. It's very small. It's not a scene. Don't come here with a group, just a friend or two and only if they are neighbour-loving and kind and cool, and if it's playoffs make a reservation and enjoy the fact that this tiny divey sports bar takes reservations during hockey games. Enjoy the crowd, enjoy the memorabilia, above all enjoy the old Canadiens fans who come with things like fairly large metal Jesus's to cheer on the most beloved and storied team in hockey.

Yelp
Overpriced drinks and watered down tequila. Staff is only friendly when they feel like it. Apparently they take reservations during big sports nights but we've never been able to get one- maybe because we're asking in English? Don't really care, won't be back.

Yelp
Great place to be for the big games! has enough Screens to watch your games on. The food and drinks are perfectly affordable and the people working there are very nice.

Yelp
Last week I was visiting Montreal for the first time ever, and I happened across this place by accident. I was caught in the rain without an umbrella and just wanted to find a place where I could warm up and wait it out. Walking in, it seemed like a typical sports bar, with huge TVs on the wall. But it wasn't too loud, noisy, or flashy--which was nice. Definitely more of an intimate, familiar feeling. The service was beyond impressive. The barstaff was friendly and quick, and they even laid out plates of nuts, cheeses, and meats for everyone to snack on. Everyone there, the staff and the customers, was just so, so nice. I don't even like most sports, but if I ever visit Montreal again, I will definitely be going back to Bruno!

Yelp
Perfect Italian sports cafe. Great coffee. Cool cafe. And old Italian guys playing cards. I could live here.
