My friends and I were hungry and had always noticed this bakery, so we decided to check it out. The building looks really nice, and the inside is clean with friendly staff. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the taste of the items I tried.
The standout was the opera cake. It was something I had never tried before, but it was delicious and a pleasant surprise. Everyone loved it, making it the highlight of our visit and giving us hope for the rest of the menu.
Unfortunately, the chocolate fudge cupcake was a letdown. Neither I nor my friends enjoyed it. The cake had an unusual light pumpkin brown color instead of a rich dark brown, and the frosting wasn't appealing to any of us. Would definitely not recommend
We also tried a churro croissant. While I personally didn't like it due to the cream inside, my friends did enjoy it, so this might just be a matter of personal preference.
The dark chocolate mousse was good but very rich and dense, typical of chocolate mousse. It didn't blow us away but was an average, decent dessert.
I was excited to try the Ferrero Rocher dessert, but it was disappointing. It tasted somewhat artificial, like eating a Ferrero Rocher but with something off. It wasn't anyone's favorite and was just okay. I probably wouldn't get it again.
Overall, the bakery has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but the quality of the desserts was hit or miss for us.
