At this stylish craft brewery and restaurant, you can drink more than 30 beers, tonics, and cocktails (the nonalcoholic ones are popular with nursing moms, of which there are plenty in the hood), with countless more bottles to explore. ORDER THE: beer that suits your mood. The taps change regularly! Attached, there’s a hyper-curated shop that’s open every day starting at noon, so grab a few bottles and some take-out food to bike back to your hotel. PRACTICAL STUFF: Open every day: Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to midnight; Friday and Saturday from noon to 3 a.m.; and Sunday from noon to midnight. Brewery tours and tastings happen the last Saturday of the month at 3 p.m.; reserve at brus@tapperietbrus.dk. —Christine Muhlke" - Condé Nast

Google
Very spacious and cozy with plenty of tables outside as well. Had a beef burger, bao with pork, chicken wings - all of them were amazing. You can choose from a vast range (more than 30) of tap beers. I booked a table online in advance to be safe, but for lunch I would say you can highly likely to get a table without prior booking. I will definitely come back to this place again.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and kind. chicken wings, and fries were tasty. We also tried their beers, and they were very delicious.

Google
Great brewery taproom with beers and food. 20+ beers on tap. Didn't see any flight option, but you can get all beers in small size (20cl). Food is good, location is big, bathrooms big, and they have wine and coctails as well

Google
The vibes are good at Brus. Incredible selection of beer from Copenhagen and beyond. Whoever is in charge of the music selection should be given a raise, their taste is on point.

Google
First bar I visited in Copenhagen and it delivered some super beer. Good service, nice atmosphere and the outdoor seating is ample. The selection of beers is broad and could keep you busy for a wonky afternoon.

Google
I have mixed feelings. On one hand the bar is incredible and the staff is so sweet and helpful (shout out to the no nonsense redhead). On the other hand on my most recent visit, I noted to the waitress that I waited almost an hour for my burger with fries and she responded, that it had only been 47 minutes since I ordered, not 1 hour. When the burger arrived the fires were buuuurned and borderline inedible. I noted it to the staff, but I didn’t have the time to wait another hour for new fries. I give 4 stars though because I still like the food and I love the bar. Great wings though, I’ll just get those next time.

Google
It could be a 5 star, but one star deduction for the fact that there was no single burger option, but instead they have this burger menu. The fries were good, but not ideal for people who were somehow caring about the lories they consume....hope there is more option 😉 The service was good, friendly, and attending.

Google
We really enjoyed the food. It was flavourful and delicious. We had the smash burger, pork bao buns & chicken waffle. Service was very friendly also. Beer was tasty. Only negative was our fries were a bit over done, so bit hard on the outside.

Yelp
Nice variety of seating areas in this three-in-one: brewery, taproom restaurant. Tempeh Burger was very good. So were the Red Eye Stout, Batch 200, and Rise of Orion beers. I was happy with the service. The bartender was helpful in answering my questions about getting around in Copenhagen.

Yelp
Such an expansive brewery for the area. The beer options are so varied, especially compared to other beers offered in Copenhagen. There is ample seating both indoor and outdoor. There is a bottle shop immediately next door if you want to take any of the options home. The prices for pours are so reasonably priced. Wished I had an opportunity to come back and hang out at such a chill spot.

Yelp
This review is for the food. We had the pork chop, burger, risotto, fries, and padron peppers. The bone-in pork chop was definitely the stand-out! It was cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful. It was sliced like an accordion and evenly cooked. The pearl barley was also one of my favorites - rich and creamy. The burger, fries, and peppers were solid, as you would expect for good bar food. We finished with the panna cotta, which had a nice caramel layer and a nice creamy custard texture. I would've preferred it to be served colder. Overall, very solid food, by any standard. I'd definitely go back for the pork chop and risotto!

Yelp
If you like craft beer, go to BRUS. My friend and I went on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m. and got a table right away outside. Start by ordering at the bar- the line moves fast. They sell half and full glasses. Since they have two sours on tap, I ordered half glasses of both the passion fruit sour ale and the raspberry one. Were they my favorite? No, but they were good and I appreciated their presence on the menu. The space itself is massive with a large taproom, an area to buy cold packs of beer and outdoor seating at long tables. They also have wifi, which is very helpful for tourists.

Yelp
The day (or week) I was there they were running a special for "fermented fries"?... While I was sampling some beers in the tap-room/gift shop the young lady helping me recommended I try these... And I did, and they were absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals I had in Europe - really! The texture of the the fries was perfection. Delicious, and they did not leave you feeling full or gross which is sometimes the "after affect" of eating fried food. I did not have anything else from the menu to eat, they had a limited menu but everything they had looked delish!!!! Aside from the food, I had 3-beers I think while I was there. The pilsner and and ipa were definitely in there. Everything was phenomenal. It's a very nice brewery, very clean, smooth and tight. Outstanding across the board.

Yelp
I loved this place!! It was such a fun and lively place to grab dinner and a drink. What we ordered: they have rotting beers, but they let me try two of the fruity beers- I settled for the passion fruit. It was delicious! The price is fair for the quality. For dinner, you order at the counter. I ordered the veggie burger. It was probably one of the best I've had! It was juicy and flavorful. If I lived in Copenhagen, this would be my weekly hang out spot!

Yelp
What's the only thing better than having a burger? Obviously having a burger in any other country other than the states. When I saw the menu for this place serving quality burgers along with killer brunch items, I was sold. BRUS is also a much talked about brewery with a changing menu of suds to satisfy any beer snob. Unfortunately for me, beer is forever off my menu and the husband prefers cider. So we settled with enjoying the food. We each got the beef burger and I got mine lettuce wrapped to avoid gluten. The truffle mayo was great and I didn't miss the bun at all. My tea was served in a super cute teapot which obviously made it taste even better. The restaurant has lots of natural lighting with big generous windows and is a great space for sitting with friends and relaxing with snacks and a drink. We only had time to pop in for a bite and couldn't spend much time here but it definitely seems like a popular place. They also have a great patio area but it was unutilzed considering the February weather.

Yelp
My final dinner in København, I was pleased to find seating inside. Great and very friendly service, excellent beers and a fabulous meal. While BRUS is definitely designed around "sharing," I had the pork shank as a meal for one. It is a HUGE piece of meat and it was delicious. Served on top of sauerkraut and with an order of fries on the side, I did okay but still left quite a bit behind. This is the sort of place that you'll want to enjoy with a friend or friends. Great beers on tap - two dozen of them - plus a number of other cocktails. I had a GREAT time here and would definitely recommend BRUS for sure.

Yelp
I was in Kopenhagen for two days, going back and forth between Malmö in Sweden and Denmark. An trip. I am an anal traveler, so I have the places I want to visit (especially food) planned out in advance. Enter BRUS. I wanted to try a burger not from the States-- I don't like hamburgers; and I wanted Danish beer. Why? Because it's Danish beer. I had been in Holbaek earlier in the day and made some new friends while touring so I had them come meet me after they went back to their place and changed-- they were also from New York and happened to know friends of mine. Serendipity across the world. Anyway, moving to why we're here. Drinks: I went with the tricerahops. Easy drinking, light, 6.2% ABV. Nothing heavy. My friend has the Cucumber G&T- gin and tonic. And I think the other has the Pineapple Expression. I can't remember off the top of my head, but all solid drinks. Food: The main course. Burgers, Korean Fried Chicken (I know, what?), and fermented fries with fermented mushroom mayo (again, what). Now, the burger hater in me was not excited to try this. But the foodie in me knew it was time to throw away my inhibitions, and boy am I glad I did. Dense, soft, well-seasoned, cooked to perfection. I like my beef medium. All I heard around the table was silence. I take that as a really good sign because we all got burgers. The fries made no sense. Who decides to ferment fries? And why wasn't it done sooner? These fries were crisp, texture was amazing, and the taste was so different. So there was also vanilla ice cream. I did not Oh the space? It's a brewery. So open industrial with so many tables. But there are also plants, so mixed industrial with a touch of nature. Either way, very comfortable. Next time in Kopenhagen, guess where I'm going? You guessed it: BRUS. As always, happy eating and drinking. MarieMG. partake, though I did have a small bite. They could not stop talking about it for 2h post. Safe to say it was delicious.

Yelp
Stopped by on a decent Danish summer day on my vacation this summer. Interior is trendy Scandinavian hipster bar in a simple way. Wooden materials combined with industrial influences but still clean classic Scandinavian design. I really liked this place. The exterior is a painted old brick house with big beautiful windows. I love this place and I'm not sure if everyone will feel this way but most people will this this a good look place that's I'm sure of. There's is elements from this place that I will keep in mind if I ever can build my own house. Let's talk about the important stuff, the bar and beer. There where 32 taps with beers and drinks when I visited. 24 taps with differ t beers. I tried 4 different beers and even if all of the wasn't in my taste 2 where extraordinary and among the best tasting beer I ever had. Super friendly and helpful personnel. They really know what they where talking about. However, I kind of expect that from a bar that's owned by To Øl brewery. Had read much good this about this bar before I came here and have highly thoughts of it while leaving. The most important thing of all I want to return soon. Can't be anything else to high score!

Yelp
I have been wanting to visit Brus for a long time since I know about this bar a few while ago, and I finally got the chance to visit last Saturday. Great tap list, good thing that BRUS brews their own beer, apart from the To Øl beer they have. I have my blackcurrant Weisse (solbær weisse) which is Brus' own beer and my boyfriend got Coffee Time All the Time which was a coffee stout, also by Brus. Both beers were great. The place was spacious with lots of lights and clean Scandinavian style. On the other end of the bar, you'd find a small bottle shop with mostly To Øl beer and a few selections of Mikkeller. Good thing! Also, you could buy snacks here if you feel hungry throughout your beer-drinking. Restaurant Spontan is on the other side of the bar, not visible from the bar side, covered by (beer?) barrel as divider, but it's nice to know that you have the option to have dinner as well there when you don't feel like dining anywhere else, or just across the street. They are two separate entities, the bar and the restaurant, just the way I like it, unlike those bars I have seen in Sweden (when they have to serve food with alcohol by law). The only downside FOR ME is that I don't live in Nørrebro, and this place can be a bit difficult to reach with public transport. Bars around Nørreport or in the city center are still much easier and reachable than this place, but maybe I'll hang out here for good times' sake.

Yelp
Blown away by how much I loved BRUS. Sadly for my wallet, I'm sure I will become a regular here. There are few things in this world I love more than a really really good craft beer so that being said I am head over heels for BRUS. Such a great selection of draft beers here, and in my opinion they're a great price. BEER: Over 20 draft beers that are available in small and large sizes. Whatever you want, I'm sure they have it and you'll love it. I am a huge IPA fan so I tried two of their IPAs - both of which were amazing. My friend tried a Pale Ale and an American Pale Ale and they were equally great. My one and only suggestion to BRUS would be to offer flights of beer, as this is a great way for people to try out beers. Since they have so many beers on tap I feel like this would be an easy idea to implement for them. FOOD: We only had a basket of their potato chips, but it was the perfect side to a nice beer. Next time I go I'll definitely try the snack plate, which the people sitting next to us ordered and we drooled over the entire evening. It looked like a great mix of items to nibble on throughout the night. SPACE: Such an interesting layout/concept going on here. The space is divided into three sections - a restaurant, the bar (BRUS), and a small shop. There are no dividers so the whole space is very open and it's nice to be able to see everything going on around you. It also makes it easy to wander around and check things out. For the bar, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a mix of bar seats, long tables and booths so there is a good variety. No problem finding a seat on a Friday night. Lots of larger groups there and the seating didn't seem to be a problem for them either. ATMOSPHERE: Dimly lit space with candles and minimal decoration - very modern and Scandinavian. Nice atmosphere here, but the bar does get pretty loud when it's crowded. We used semi-loud voices once the seats started filling up. BRUS was everything I expected and more. I am so so happy that (1) this place exists in Copenhagen and (2) it is very close to my apt. Can't wait to return and try more of their beers.

Yelp
It's hard to praise anything in this review that Rebecca M. has not already mentioned. Great drinks, great service.. and I think I smelled kimchi there! I'll have to investigate the restaurant section and snack board later.. The drink menu looks a lot like the one at Mikropolis, with a nice selection of beers from Mikkeller and To Øl as well as several cocktails to choose from. One can check the current menu on their website. My favourite Skovsyrligt is displayed and there is more seating available here, which makes me even more happy to come by. So far I've tried the Space Apples and Rum Dancer, both of which were 65 dkk and made quickly but with care. The bartenders are very nice and it's easy to get their attention if they haven't spotted you already. And like Mikropolis, the bubbly water is free! Although it looks a bit industrial with the high ceilings and spartan decoration, the place still feels cozy with a lot of natural light and clean wood. There is a lot of brewing equipment in the back and plenty of beers on sale up front. Brus is strategically placed smack in the middle of Inner Nørrebro with neighbors Bæst, Mirabelle, and Empire Bio so you can get dinner before a movie and then get your drink on afterward. In good weather and with all those tables outside, this is a place that you must visit!

Yelp
Great beer, solid cocktail options, and awesome bites. This place is wonderful for all dining options and group sizes. Came here after a light dinner and had a couple of beers and some snacks - it was great! Friendly staff, wide beer/meal variety, and spacious atmosphere are the three main reasons why I'd recommend this spot. Will definitely come back!

Summer S.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in CPH. Great everything!! Beer, food, people!! The staff is always super busy... a liztle bit stressed, but anyways cocktails are nice, too.
google avatar

William Ó.

Yelp
The beer is usually fantastic but the selection of styles on any one evening could be more complete. Tends to have a few quirky beer flavours, which work most of the time but can disappoint. Nice, friendly bar staff have the patience to deal with a young, moneyed, hipster crowd, loudly discussing the personalities of different hops or perhaps Bon Iver or The National. Big Minus: The bar snacks are wa-ay overpriced and a bit silly (Hay Smoked Nuts for approx US$7, ffs)...
google avatar

Jacob N.

Yelp
I went here with a friend for a few beers. It's a big bar, so when we arrived it was no problem getting a table. Later in the evening it was full even though we were there on a Wednesday. There is a brewery in the back, and you can smell that, so if you dislike the smell of beer brewing, don't go here. The beer selection is great, but very pricy, even for Copenhagen. I had a 0,4L beer that cost 110 DKK. I believe that is the most expensive beer I have ever bought in Copenhagen, and I have quite a few beers in Copenhagen under the belt, also from other craft beer bars.
google avatar

Iris F.

Yelp
Heaven for beer geeks. Do NOT order burgers. They are like chewing paper. Worst burger I ever had.
google avatar

Ben B.

Yelp
If you want to be insulted, go here. Half the beers were sold out. As we got to the counter, eye rolling employee Liam skipped me for the next person in line, told me I was annoying, 'looked entitled' and refused to inform me about their selection. Part of the reason you'd go to a place like Brus is to try new beer, and trying a sample is part of the process. Not with Liam. He told that I should have decided before getting through the line (I am short sighted and cannot read small hand written letters from afar). I hope other people have a better time than I did here, but I've never had worse service in Copenhagen. The beer was ok.
google avatar

Lauren P.

Yelp
BRUS is a cool spot near Mirabelle, and worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood! My boyfriend and I decided to stop here for beers and dinner one night while in Copenhagen. You order the beers from the inside bar and food from the back area -- let them know where you're sitting. I got the veggie burger (which was actually grilled vegetables, not some sort of vegetarian patty). We shared the fermented potato fries and my boyfriend got the Korean chicken wings. Everything was DELICIOUS. We also really enjoyed the wide variety of beers and I think tried a few too many. ;-) There's also a bottle shop in the front, and you can buy a variety of beers to go. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Margaret Z.

Yelp
BRUS is such a great space. Tall ceilings, lots of light, ample room near the bar and seating tucked away behind brewing equipment - I'm really looking forward to spending summer here. Exciting that it also has food - and not just normal bar food, but a combo of Nordic and classic (vanilla shakes, bloody marys - at least I hope this is the standard menu and not just the pop-up brunch one time) - because it means that it is a place for any time, any day, and not just the evening - it manages to feel like the neighborhood brewery spot, even though already wildly popular.
google avatar

Linn K.

Yelp
Good things about BRUS: - Great beer and good selection. - Nice location and a cool style inside. - Great people and good atmosphere. Bad things: - They often play too high music. They have no sense for the atmosphere and in which mood people are in. - The staff is unfortunately always quite ignorant and arrogant.

Yelp
Visiting from Sonoma County, California with high standards for beer. So happy to find this place. Great beer selection. Food was delicious too.

Yelp
Great selection of beers from Denmark and Belgium. A really friendly staff as well. This should be on yoir drinking list.

Yelp
Stopped by on vacation to grab food and beers, Tool beers on tap and a large selection of cans & bottles to go or for in house consumption. Price varies depending on drinking it there or taking it to go.

Bill B.

Yelp
I specifically came here to have the fermented fries. We ordered a drink when we walked in despite seeing a food menu posted where we ordered. After getting our drink (which was secondary to our reason for coming here) we were told when ordering the fries it would be one hour! They need to get their act together. It's a Wednesday night!

Armin N.

Yelp
Disgusting burgers, tastes cooked and not Well done as we asked for at all. For the low quality the food is awful

Lauren C.

Yelp
I'm so glad I finally got to check this place out! Even though it's a little farther away from me than some bars offering similar beers and atmosphere, I will gladly go to BRUS. Prices are very friendly when comparing to other bars around town. The selection of beers is very varied with also options for non-beer drinking folk. The bar is surprisingly very spacious despite sharing space with brewery equipment and the attached restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and hygge, but again, you don't feel cramped because of the high ceilings and ample amount of seating areas. I didn't try the food but from what I saw, the snack board provided a very unique mix of items. Kimchi, pork ribs, and pork cheek? Oh my, I may have to get that next time. Service was friendly and unpretentious, same goes for the crowd. Great mix of young and old, even saw a baby pram inside. They also have a little shop in the front where you can buy bottles of the beers they have on tap which is a nice. BRUS is in a great location with many neighboring restaurants to check out. Stop by and enjoy a couple of drinks before dinner (or after dinner) or with no dinner! (If that's your thing).
google avatar

Bri R.

Yelp
Any place offering free sparkling water and amazing cocktails for well under 100dkk is a rarity and fully deserving of 5 stars. It's a damn good thing then that the atmosphere, service and location also meet and often surpass expectations. I cannot comment on the food as yet, but there is definitely going to be a next time. Much else of what I wanted to add to this review has been said several times over so summing up, yes, it really is that good a place to get your drink on.
google avatar

Guna P.

Yelp
Another lovely place to go in Norrebro with great selection of draught beers and interesting cocktails. Perfect for people who love outside seating - lots of space over there. Interesting interior and nice staff. Will surely go back.
google avatar

Nadia P.

Yelp
Oh man, I'm not much of a beer person, but I do enjoy the vibe of a good beer joint. Of you've ever seen that movie Drinking Buddies (and you should), this is the kind of place that Kate works at. If you haven't (and you SHOULD), then let me tell you that this place is just too hipster for me. Is that part of the job application process? Is it part of the interview? Can you get a job in here if you don't worship Conor Oberst and listen intently to Arcade Fire? I don't think so. But it's big and bright and I do like the labels on their beer. I, myself, have been called hipster from time to time, so maybe that's why I'd go again. Even if I'm not a beer person.

Magnus O.

Yelp
Spontan at brus is a fantastic restaurant. And the beer is even better. Brewery and gourmet restaurant combined is just as good as it sounds.
