DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! The wait was long even though it wasn't that busy. When I finally got a chance the ask the bartender a simple question about the food, he was rude and dismissive. To top it off, I noticed later he added an additional tip on the bill. I see from previous reviews this isn't the first time. Definitely don't recommend going to this place.

Get the ground beef quesadillas. They are the only ones seasoned. The chicken and fajita steak are not. The fajita steak was the most disappointing. Tasted like it was frozen, thawed out in water and sat too long before being cooked

This place is a staple for me and family. The pizza is 1/2 off on Mondays but it is worth the full price. It’s always hot, fresh, and delicious. On Wednesdays they also have a appetizer special that is well worth the moneh and calories. They play a variety of pop and older hip hop music so the atmosphere is laid back and upbeat.

Heather behind the bar is a ray of sunshine. She treats all her patrons amazingly. Rock star doesn't cut it. Pizza is delicious and be sure to grab a quesadilla while you're here.

Stopped in not knowing much about this place, just that it was still open and we were hungry! Ordered a veggie pizza, fried pickles and some drinks. Definitely some good late night eats. The pizza is super thing crust, toppings were generous, and price was perfect. Also had some fried pickles, also generous serving, and a great bar staple. Our server was so nice and welcoming, I didn’t catch him name but shout out to that guy for being attentive and friendly. Nice selection of draft beers on tap. Would come back again and check out the rest of the space. FYI we got there right before 11pm, our server told us full menu is available till 11pm, and after 11pm the kitchen serves pizza and wings only (which is still very rad)

This is one place I WILL NOT go back and patronize. The server got my order wrong 3 times and stated that he was going to cover the order he got wrong, but DID NOT. This also over charged my card. The food is NASTY and the drinks taste like rubbing alcohol.

Great atmosphere great food and great specials. The service is personal and phenomenal. I highly recommend checking it out and if you have been to Sylvan Avenue Tavern this place is way better both in service and quality of food. My two favorites are the pizza and Cobb salad. The Cobb salad is huge and fresh. Best Cobb salad I have ever had.

Service is terrible! Good luck reserving the "party room" because they'll give it to someone else. Drinks were also pretty bad. Was excited to try this bet but won't be coming back.

Horrible service. I ordered through door dash at 5:11. The door dash person arrived to pick up the order. The restaurant did not receive the order. So when I called to see what was going on, They hung up on my face. And refused to help me. Poor service

Here to try this legendary place.. It was early in the midweek on a quiet evening. Plenty of parking but I could see how the lot might get crowded. Lots of video screens showing the games. We grabbed a table and people watched! The regulars were having a wonderful time! I even saw regulars from other establishments I frequent! We had an appetizer (Jersey Sliders) and then ordered a couple of pizzas. Service and speed was really good, but keep in mind, it wasn't crowded at that point. Our food was exceptionally good. The sliders were OUTSTANDING! The pizzas were the stars of the night. They had the right amount of ingredients and were baked long enough to burst some of the veggies on top and melt the cheese. The crust was perfectly baked and a good flavor. As we were finishing paying our check the crowd had quadrupled and the place was packed with many obvious regulars by the way they all were getting along.

Delicious cracker thin crust pizza! Tangy and sweet (but not too sweet) sauce. Chicago style tavern pizza crust cut into squares. Absolutely stellar every time! I can't wait to come back!!!

Hadn't been here in a minute - always a good place to chill - especially the back patio. You have to get a pizza. I got a small for 9 bucks with pepperoni and local jimmys sausage - was delish. Cool neighborhood bar feel with a big screen TV room. This is honestly an east Dallas staple. lots of decent specials throughout the week.

One of my favorite hangouts. Great pizza & local brewed beers. New menu items are really good also. Don't miss it!!

The food was delicious. The service was amazing! And the environment was fun. I would definitely come here again!

Overall horrible experience from top to bottom. The main issue was our bar tender with arm sleeve tattoos. He was rude, unhelpful, dismissive, and an overall jerk. We asked a few questions regarding the menu and he acted like we were a bother as he huffed as puffed. The food was mediocre at best but it was fairly priced. I left a poor tip because I got poor service. However, mr tattoos thought he should add an extra tip. Luckily, I knew something was off with him so I checked my bank statements.... We will never go back. Very grungy place too.

Great Pizza! Staff is friendly. We love to come here to watch the games. They have sand volley ball, pool table and a great outdoor patio.

This place makes a bunch of money on drinks. They just increased all their prices. You would think they would use some of that cash to spruce up the place. It's in borderline squalor.

During a recent visit, my husband and I, accompanied by his parents, were present to address equipment issues ahead of an event. While my husband attended to the necessary repairs, his parents and I remained in our vehicle with the windows down. Regrettably, we encountered a situation where an individual, purportedly recognized as a regular patron, made unwarranted and derogatory remarks towards us. (Called us crackheads twice while making eye contact with me) Despite our attempts to clarify the situation, the individual persisted in her offensive behavior. It is disappointing that such behavior occurred, particularly considering that we were the sole occupants present at the time. (Other than the employees) This experience left us feeling disheartened and appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed by someone unfamiliar with us. If I could give zero stars I would.

Super cheap drinks & really good good. Love the trio sampler. They have drink deals almost every day of the week!

This place is just an all-around GREAT bar. You've got the inside classic bar, outside seating, great service, and AMAZING food - and not just "for a bar" - truly good food by any measure. Our server Andrew was so friendly and did an amazing job working his butt off for the whole patio. All the food I saw looked really and the burgers and pizza we had were just great. A great place to watch sports on a Saturday afternoon or late night hanging.

If I can drop 0 start believe me I would drop it here had a 8pcs wings that' cost $12.99 and fries basket that cost $6 which I ended up ordering because the wings didn't come with fries, which equals 2 transactions. On Monday when the transactions finally cleared looks like someone decoded to tip themselves $12.99 went up to $29.60 and $6 fries went up to $15 after tips mind you this was a Togo order not to eat in there !! I call this FRAUD AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED I SIGNED ALL RECEIPTS AND NO TIP WAS ISSUED FROM MY SIDE CLEARLY SO HOW I TIPPED YALL $25 OVERALL PASS THE PRICE OF THE WHOLE ORDER IS SO WILD !!!

Pizza, wings and fries were bomb! Drinks were great and our bartender ( cool chick with long blonde hair) was wonderful and patient with me and my indecisive friends ;) . One of the best things ever was the karaoke on Thursday. The DJ is legit one of my favs in the city. I'll be back for sure. I may try a game day...

Oh you want to order food outside? What table are you sitting at? Oh we don't number our tables. So if you don't know then you need to come back in the bar in 15-20 minutes to maybe get the food you ordered. Haha good luck baby! They said that this wouldn't be an issue if I used the server outside, but after 20 minutes no server has come to our table. Total fail by the management.

Great service and food. Love this place, they are open late! Cheaper prices then you typically see in the area.

Came in about 4 pm on a Sunday saw they had good reviews so wanted to give it a try. All day mimosas $4 won me over! Upon arrival the bar was packed so we decided to sit at a table waited about 10 min still no one came to attend so we went to the bar area to order, bartender sent someone to help. Waitress took our orders she wasn't real attentive we were the only table inside The food is why there reviews are good. The pizza was really amazing thin crust and they put provolone cheese and it has a different gooey taste it was delicious! The only reason I would go back is for the pizza might even just order to go since service sucked!

Thanks to the two smart mouth ladies behind the bar I won't be back. I was trying to ask one of them about my recent visit two days prior and she didn't remember. She seemed a little high so I asked the other one.Neither one did,so no big deal. I left and forgot my keys on the table and walked back in and heard her telling the other one a smart @$$ remark referring to me! I asked her if she was referring to me and she had nothing to say.

Tried their pizza tonight because it came highly recommended - I'm a sucker for a nice, crispy thin crust. It was only okay; the pizza sauce tasted really sweet to me. They must put loads of sugar in it. My friend actually thought it might be barbecue sauce. Lol. The hot wings were on point tho. ALSO, Black & Brown people beware: it gives off major insurrection vibes from the jump. There's a blue lives matter flag hangin outside as well as a Gadsen (Don't Tread on Me) flag. Made me feel wildly uncomfortable before I even set foot inside. Prob won't go back.

I was looking for a good pizza place around my neighborhood and saw that Bryan Street Tavern pizza was highly rated and recommended so we gave it a try. I ordered the large build your own half & half with two ingredients on each side. The total came out to over $25. It came out as the same price as there extra large. Ok. If it's good I don't mind paying for it. When I got it home & opened the box what I found was the thinnest burnt excuse for a pizza I have ever seen. More than half the pizza was so burnt it was uneatable and the rest was overcooked at best. Putting marinara sauce on a saltine with cheese & meat & calling it pizza would have been a better option.

My vehicle was vandalized in their parking lot right in front of a camera. When I asked about video the BST manager said there was no video. Come to find out a few days later there really is video, but it auto erases after 72 hours. I pressed the issue and BST manager/owner admitted several cars have been vandalized in their parking lot. They always say they don't have a good angle of the vehicle. Sounds like a cover up to me!! BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!! PS - I have screen shots of the owner berating long time customers in social media.

We just moved into a home near this bar/restaurant and were so pleased to find it. Great for watching the game, grabbing a beer, or enjoying the patio. The pizza is highly rated so we tried the Tavern special and were not disappointed. Loaded with toppings and served on a thin, crispy crust. It was delicious. My husband also ordered the loaded tots and though he was in heaven. With over 20 craft beers on tap, there's a beer for everyone. Great weekly specials and an awesome tv package to catch any live game.

Fun neighborhood bar, a friend of mine lives close by and took me.The wings are out of this world good! The bartenders are super chill and have a good pour. Everything is priced well! Restrooms are clean and bar is kept clean also. Over all can't say Anthony bad

Great pizza, as always - and, now, once again - great service. I previously left a poor review based solely on service. That's been corrected. It's now, once again, a favorite "go to" spot. Pool, volleyball, reasonable prices - and great pizza!

Took 3 deliveries to get our order right, then the pizza was awful, their pizza used to be very good but is awful now, BURNT, HARD AS A ROCK CRUST and dry pizza, could not tell if it had any sauce or cheese on it, I couldn't taste any, pizza just had a bunch of veggies on a rock hard crust. $16 bucks for a 12" pizza, I expected more. Our company will never order from them again.

Truth be told I came here because I had a coupon, what can I say, I love a good deal. However once we arrived we noticed that they offer specials of the day, so that's something to keep in mind. We came during the week around lunch time however there wasn't a huge crowd. There were regulars who knew each other and the bartender, so if you are looking for a place where everyone knows your name, this could be that place. We ended up ordering a pizza and wings, along with a couple of beers. Everything was good, but nothing spectacular. Staff was friendly, a little pricey (even with my coupon/special) and now I can say "I've been there before".

This is a great spot for a nice local crowd. It's also interesting and quite pleasant to see the integration in Dallas vs California, which pays lip service to it but is actually very segregated. The pizza was excellent and had they used thicker crust, and not burned the bottom--perhaps the best that I've had in many years. Wings tasted from frozen so I would avoid. If I could suggest something, it would be to offer a thicker crust option. Nice people working here but obviously cater to regulars and give mild pushback to newbies. Didn't bother me one bit. As a Bourdain said--become a regular. Also liked the whisky / bourbon selection and obviously tons of beer if that's your thing.

Best food for a dive bar. The pizza with Jimmies sausage is amazing - can't go wrong.

Perfect little slip in! Their pizza is great (Waylon is the best) drinks are well poured and staff is friendly!

My co-workers & I went here for lunch there was about 12 of us, the waitress (Heather) was the only waitress on duty. She made it look too easy, she checked on us constantly provided drink refills without us asking, took all orders individually, she brought food out in a timely manner. She was FANTASTIC!!!! Every business needs a "Heather" If the owner sees this I suggest you NEVER let her leave & please give her a raise. Also the food was very good & reasonably priced

Great place for (pre-COVID) trivia-- service away from the bar is terrible, so adjust your expectations. BEST ranch, great specials, solid pizza. Fried cheese is basically a mini mozz wheel. Ask for extra extra extra ranch!! Anyone we introduce to it manages to wipe out a few containers!

Gah. Since my last review 3 years ago...RIP Matt. I plan on putting BST back in rotation. You can't beat their 1/2 price pizza night on Monday's. Their pizza is delicious. I think it's the crust. And the toppings. The tavern pizza is great. They use jimmy's sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and red onions. Deee-licious! Service has been spotty over the years, but the last few visits everyone is nice and friendly. The patio has transformed a lot too, it's pretty badass.

This place is the "cheers" bar of east Dallas. The pizza, wings and burgers are great. If you come during the day Heather is the best, at night you'll see Jaysun or Jared those guys kill it. do yourself a favor and come check this place out. I'd like to keep this place to myself but I can't. You're Welcome.

I've been on the search for good wings since i moved from the Midwest to Dallas 3.5 years ago. I finally found them at Bryan St Tavern. They have the best wings in Dallas, and it's not even a competition!

Great service! Great weekly specials! Amazing food! I had a burger and cheese sticks ! I wish I had a pizza because 80% of people with food had a pizza and they looked to be having an amazing time!!!! We were there on a Wednesday and they had 1/2 off whiskey and appetizers! Didn't even realize until after we paid the bill which to our surprise was MEGA cheap considering we had 2 burgers, drinks and shots and paid less than $40!

This place is excellent! While the parking lot is small, don't let it turn you away. The inside is just what it says- a tavern. A dark and cozy feel with a full bar (no idea if they have tap beer since for once I wasn't drinking). My friend and I went on a Monday which is half-priced pizzas. Oh my goodness! It was probably the best pizza I have ever had- I would even pay full price for one! We also ordered honey chipotle BBQ wings and medium, as well as chips and queso with beef (they don't skimp on the meat). Everything was phenomenal! And our waitress was very friendly and attentive. This is a place to come to eat, watch sports and party. There were pool tables, a lounge area and the atmosphere was great. I am so glad I found this place!

Heather is great. Primary reason I go to the place as a repeat customer is because she provides the best customer service. Very thankful for this establishment and her top end service!

Dive bar with outstanding pizza, great appetizers, friendly and neighborhood feel, and plenty of space to sprawl out social distance or with a large group . Monday's the pizza are half off and every night there is a solid special. lots of the pizza ingredients come from Jimmy's deli just down the street. if you live in east dallas and are looking for a hidden gem- i highly recommend bryan st tavern

They call themselves dive but I don't think it's a dive. Either way, I had a great time in the second room where there usually a band playing. It's always nice to see bands playing song they composed or anything other than Pour some sugar... When you walked in this place, the smell of freshly baked pizza lingers around and you just can't help and want to get your hands on one of it. Unfortunately, we just ate someplace. It would now be the ultimate goal to comeback and try those good smelling food.

I have eaten at BST for over a decade now... countless times. I live down the street and eat there at least once a month. I started going there and telling anyone who would listen about the best pizza and wings in Dallas since I worked down the street at Peak Prep in 2009. Even though it's more expensive than other places I always made the argument that the quality was worth it. However, I've noticed that the quality of the wings have been slipping for some time now. That trend has hit an all time low tonight. The lemon pepper and buffalo medium wings were inedible. It is by far the worst experience I've ever had at BST. We ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 order of bone in wings for carry out. There were seven total wings for over $15... they were luke warm, gelatinous, sinewy and bland. (As always the ranch was on point.) Not only were the wings not up to par for BST but they were the worst wings I've ever eaten and the y were $15 for seven wings! I don't think I will be back to BST for wings ever again, which really sucks bc I live less than a mile away and they used to be my favorite wings in Dallas. Update of the previous one star review: After connecting w Adam, the manager of BST, he had me back in and the wings this time were MUCH better. Thank you Adam so much for the great customer service!

Do not go here. We ate there today 6/10/19 between 1pm and 2pm The bartender kept My boyfriends card and used it to make A purchase at Starbucks. She didn't even charge the card for the meal even though we signed the receipt. When he called about the card the bartender was rude as hell hung up in his face and blocked his number. We are calling the police now.

Great place to chill out. This definitely isn't a bar to dress to impress. The decor is primarily made up of tin signs from various alcohol companies and the lighting is quite dim. There are also various games placed to right of the bar including pinball, pool, beer pong, and golf. While waiting for our food the lights from the game machines drew us in, and we also played a few rounds of pool. We sought refuge from the rain here and the staff was great from the time we entered until we parted ways. Immediately upon coming in we were greeted with a warm welcome that had a similar essence to the ones given by good friends you haven't seen in a while. The food was good. My friends loved the pizza and my roasted red pepper hummus was flavorful and fresh. However, I do think that this bar has something that many others don't, the unmistakable chilled out vibe that is hard to find outside of a yoga studio when in Dallas. This is the perfect place to have a few drinks with friends, reminisce, and wear your sweats because you feel like it. Loved this bar and I'll definitely be back. I mean a $4 mimosa is a great price!
