Yelp
It looks like a nice place to get a cup of coffee, so we stopped in. We were severely disappointed in the coffee that we got.
We both perked up at the sight of "cold brew" on the menu. Cold brew coffee, which this business doesn't understand, is made by leaving coffee, grounds and water to sit together, creating a concentrate that is smooth and wonderful. This is absolutely not the same as "iced coffee." Admittedly, the nomenclature is a problem and causes confusion. However, for a professional coffee place, it shouldn't be confusing to them.
One of us ordered a cold brew coffee (usually made with cold brew concentrate, mixed with hot water), and asked for it hot. This dumbfounded the person behind the counter, who made a "what?" face and instead gave her a cup of "cold brew" coffee and told her to go put it in the microwave.
I asked for a regular cold brew coffee, and got a cup full of ice With a diluted, barely flavored coffee like beverage. This means that I was served iced coffee - and watery boring iced coffee at that, which only got worse as the ice melted.
The microwaved "cold brew" was likewise flavorless. What a waste of time and money.
There's no way for us to recommend this place for coffee after that. Either the coffee is watery and bad, and/or the folks working there don't understand coffee drinks.
