The best restaurants near Bryce Canyon National Park - Eater Vegas
"Comfort foods galore make the menu at Bryce Canyon Pines, which has been in business for more than 50 years. The menu features cowboy-sized steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade soups and pies to die for, ranging from sour cream with raisins and strawberry banana to blueberry and chocolate angel. Stop here for breakfast steaks, biscuits and gravy, muffins, or omelets for fuel before any hike." - Susan Stapleton
We reserved a campsite for 5 nights. The site we had was large with shade and trees. It was nice and well maintained. The negative about the site is we kept smelling a septic smell. We decided to leave a day early and spoke to staff about a refund. We made this request 24 hours before we wanted to leave. The is no cancellation/refund policy on their website, on their confirmation email or their general info park rule sheet they hand out. None of their employees or even the manager we talked with knew the "policy". We were told a week, 3 days, 48 hours. Then it's 48 hours. Humm. We liked the campground, but the whole refund request left a bad taste. It would have been different if they had a written policy "somewhere".

Great campground for visiting Bryce. It’s only about a 10 min drive to the park. There are plenty of trees, full hookup, a bathhouse with showers and laundry facilities. It’s also nice to have the gas station and camp store right there. And the staff were super friendly. I’ll be going back here!

Quiet, safe, lots of spots shaded, close to Bryce entrance, full hook-ups, good for children and pets. Love the trees and grass! The office is also a little grocery store which helped us stock up on a few things we need. Very nice office staff.
We felt very safe here.

I camped there the beginning of April and it was going to be below freezing, so did not use water other than to fill my on board tank and disconnect and did not use the sewer. Quiet and lots of trees with good view of mountains. Clean, modern bathroom with hot shower; laundry was higher than expected; but used it for the convenience. Staff very friendly and made great recommendations for hikes. Close to Bryce.

My family and I stayed at the Bryce Canyon Pines Motel. I had to do a load of laundry and came to the RV site to do it. The gas station/laundry area was very clean and the staff was super friendly. I would highly recommend stopping here for any needs you may have while traveling through!

During our 2 night stay I had to do 1 load of laundry. Laundry room hours 7 am-7pm no loads started after 7 pm. I can follow the rules. ||First night at 5:15 pm laundry was locked NO notice or code or access-NO one around. Next morning 8:15 am and 8:45/doors were still locked. No one was at the store. After visiting Bryce Canyon came back at 4:15 to put my load in and door was locked AGAIN. Was told they had to close the store early cause they didn’t have help and they have a life! WTF?||No one has to be there for me to do my laundry!!! |There is a separate outside door to the campground for the laundry. |Why can’t they have simply have a code on the laundry room like any other campground in the US. They have a code on the bathrooms. ||As campers we need to follow the rules…totally NO respect for me as a customer trying to use the services I paid for in my camping fees.

We tent camped here to see Bryce and Zion, which worked well. We had no concerns with the portapotty in the campground or the shower facility at the gas station. However, the site assigned to us (and many other sites) did not include a picnic table, which was VERY inconvenient. We didn't find the road noise to be an issue, despite being assigned a spot near the road.

Just a few thoughts on this campground: Disappointed that 1. laundry was extremely expensive and quarters were not available for guests (isn’t there a bank you use?) We ended up doing laundry at Ruby Inn for half the price. 2. the pool and hot tub were not in service in hot June weather, these are actually across the street but advertised on property. 3. We booked three nights and asked for better site than they gave us, lots of empty spots, but was told nothing else available. Our site was very small.
The campground is good location from Bryce Canyon and very quiet. The restaurant had good food and the horse riding in Red Canyon was awesome.
