The best restaurants near Bryce Canyon National Park - Eater Vegas

"Comfort foods galore make the menu at Bryce Canyon Pines, which has been in business for more than 50 years. The menu features cowboy-sized steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade soups and pies to die for, ranging from sour cream with raisins and strawberry banana to blueberry and chocolate angel. Stop here for breakfast steaks, biscuits and gravy, muffins, or omelets for fuel before any hike." - Susan Stapleton

We stayed one night at Bryce Canyon Pines during our December off-season visit to Bryce Canyon, and it was absolutely fantastic. The campground is surrounded by large pine trees, which makes the sites feel private and peaceful instead of crowded. Even though it was the off season, a maintenance staff member was on-site and incredibly kind and helpful. We had some RV issues, and he went out of his way to provide us with names and phone numbers for local resources. Off-season camping can be hit or miss, but this campground truly exceeded expectations—especially when many places aren’t even open. Easily a 5-star stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We camped in the campground on a road trip. We were very disappointed with the lack of communication to us and apparently between the different branches of the business. Nobody answered the phone when we called the campground, and the campground office was closed when we arrived, so we went to the hotel lobby to book our site. We were looking forward to using the hot tub and laundry facilities and were even given the needed pass codes and hours of each. Tried to use the hot tub 2 hours before it was supposed to close and the dressing rooms were locked. OK, a disappointment, but we will use the hot tub in the morning before we leave. In the morning we went to do our laundry and joined the other couple of campers who were waiting outside in the cold for the laundry room to open. We all stood there for 20 minutes before giving up. So we go to use the hot tub before continuing on our way, and the dressing rooms are still locked. I went to the hotel lobby again to ask what was up. I was informed that both facilities were closed for the season. It would have been nice to have been informed of that last night as/before we were booking! The other thing is that the campground bathrooms/showers really needed a cleaning. It was their slow season and they couldn't even clean the bathrooms?? Super dirty floor, rat nests of hair in the shower, poop inside of the toilet bowl and pee on the seat of the other toilet. Same thing the next day - they had not cleaned. Same poop on the toilet bowl and hair in the drains. The one good thing I will say about the showers is that they were nice and hot! We were desperate for the power hookup as it was a cold night, well below freezing in late November Early December, but would have looked elsewhere if we knew that the hot tub and laundry facilities would have been closed. Very very disappointing. It would have been completely fine if they had just communicated these things ahead of time. Very misleading. After I brought these things up at the front desk in the lobby, I was offered a small discount. I'm glad that they did something to try to make it right but it honestly wasn't enough of a discount for how big of a disappointment this place was.

Excellent customer service! Missy and Scooter are wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our RV site was beautiful, fully equipped, and peaceful. The restrooms and showers were sparkling clean with plentiful hot water! And there's laundry facilities. Everything the road-weary traveler needs!

We reserved a campsite for 5 nights. The site we had was large with shade and trees. It was nice and well maintained. The negative about the site is we kept smelling a septic smell. We decided to leave a day early and spoke to staff about a refund. We made this request 24 hours before we wanted to leave. The is no cancellation/refund policy on their website, on their confirmation email or their general info park rule sheet they hand out. None of their employees or even the manager we talked with knew the "policy". We were told a week, 3 days, 48 hours. Then it's 48 hours. Humm. We liked the campground, but the whole refund request left a bad taste. It would have been different if they had a written policy "somewhere".

Google
Great campground for visiting Bryce. It’s only about a 10 min drive to the park. There are plenty of trees, full hookup, a bathhouse with showers and laundry facilities. It’s also nice to have the gas station and camp store right there. And the staff were super friendly. I’ll be going back here!

Great spot super close to Bryce. Water pumps at the individual spots get shut off during winter, but you can still fill up your RV at the front. Hot showers.

Booked through an app and got stuck at a tent site right next to the highway - super noisy and not what we expected. The address listed in the app was wrong, which made finding the place frustrating, and there was no potable water at any of the tent sites even though it was advertised. Tried to switch sites, but the check-in counter said we had to contact the host. The phone number just looped us back to guest services and then right back to the same counter. They told us to email the host but admitted we probably wouldn’t hear back. Pretty frustrating setup when there’s clearly availability. Between the wrong address, no water, highway noise, and unresponsive host, I wouldn’t recommend this campground.
