B's Salty & Sweet

Didn't realize this place existed until last week so my husband took me for my birthday. The pop tarts are so delicious (so good that we went back on Sat to get more) the oat milk chocolate pecan cookies were also very good, the cinnamon roll was pretty good, we also got a blueberry muffin but was only able to eat a bite because it was either undercooked or just not good and the croissants of which we bought two of looked great on the outside but in the inside it was like a bread filling instead of light and fluffy like a croissant should be, was disappointed in those because they were expensive and I absolutely love croissants but that was not a normal croissant and for the price it should have been delicious. Got a pain au chocolat when I went back and it was really good as well. I will definitely be back I just know to stick to the pop tarts and cookies.

Ok, so they make these Adult Poptarts with chorizo and cheese. They also make classic fruit ones too. Not like the ones you get at the grocer! They have a flaky butter crust and amazing filling and its worth going there just for them. But their muffins, coffee and everything else is dynamite too. Great place.

The staff are kind and welcoming. The vegan taco salad tasted fresh and delicious. Very excited to try my vegan baked goods. If I lived in Tennessee, I would eat here all the time.

I have been hoping for a vegan restaurant/cafe to come to Columbia for a long time. This place is delightful. The food is amazing, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable. If I could say anything "bad" it would be as a 2nd shift individual I would love some later hours, but I understand thats not always possible. TL;DR this place is amazing and I highly recommend even to my non vegan friends.

This place just keeps getting better and better. The new items they've rotated through their menu in the last year or so have all been absolutely top-notch, and their coconut bacon is unlike anything I've had before, just out of this world. The tahini coffee is a revelation! I was so pleased to get my non-vegetarian coworkers to try B's today, and everyone loved it! So glad we have this place in our community.

B’s will not disappoint! They recently added coffee, and it’s SO good, it could be their main thing! They’re knocking the coffee and pastries out of the park! Yum. I got an Americano which was so flavorful and satisfying. Also got an almond croissant which was a tasty encounter with flakiness!

Located in the Factory at Columbia, what a great place with fresh baked goods and a flavorful lunches. They offer a rotating lunch menu and different bread flavors during the week. When I stopped in they had a creamy mushroom soup (made with cashew cream), which was fantastic and so fresh, served with a garlic knot and a salad that had some of the best lemon vinaigrette dressing I have ever had. I would buy it in a bottle it was so good. They have space to eat inside and watch the bakery in motion or get it to go. Of course when you go to a bakery you have buy cookies and bread too. I got seven different flavors of cookies and each was delicious, but my top two favorites were the triple ginger and peanut butter. All the cookies were moist and so flavorful. I also bought a loaf of the country sourdough bread and they sliced it for me. Perfect for sandwiches or toasted with breakfast. It was a denser bread, but I loved the flavor toasted with my eggs at breakfast the next day. Definitely want to try the chocolate babka soon and the muffins looked very inviting. Basically I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you get here. Check out the menu, there are muffins, pop tarts, bagels, cookie bars, cupcakes, and more. The staff was very friendly and overall I would say the food and bakery items are top notch. They also have vegan options so there is something for everyone and you can pre-order online too. Definitely a great place to go for a fresh flavorful food! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Oh, man! I ordered a cookie platter that looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I couldn’t sample the cookies myself as they were a gift, but while I was picking them up the croissants in the display caught my eye. The pain au chocolat was out of this world—such a beautiful flaky, chewy texture with the perfect balance of buttery, bitter, chocolatey goodness. I will be stopping by this place any time I head down to Columbia!

We stopped in to get a treat today after shopping. The staff was very friendly. I found out that all of their desserts are vegan! We will be back to try out their lunch menu, lots of good looking items to try!

My favorite place to eat, not just in Columbia, but in the entire state! B's is a very unique and wonderfully magical little spot you don't come across often. The food is super high vibe, health conscious, delicious, and prepared with thoughtfulness and love. I always feel nourished and joyfully content after every meal, and I think that's become a rare experience when eating out these days. The owners and staff are truly kind and lovely human beings, and it's always a joy for me to see their faces when I walk in the door and am greeted like family. You make breakfast something to look forward to! Thank you

It's always a joy to walk into B's. Each day they have a special menu item - always a treat. If you make it on the tamale pie day, order it! I love their granola, and their salads are fantastic. Try the hummus and cheddar crackers - delish! My favorite go-to is the chorizo pop tarts. Christine, the manager is a lovely person and takes such good care of her customers.

Excellent!! My milk allergy usually prevents me from finding a yummy sweet at a bakery. To my delight, B's has a whole shelf of vegan options. I had the Apple cider cupcake and loved it so much I bought some to-go! I also took home the chocolate cupcake with coffee icing and I was not disappointed. Very moist and fresh even on day 2. The staff is very friendly and obviously knowledgeable about their awesome products. Thanks Christine! Wish we didn't live 2000 miles away!

I stopped for lunch for my favorite grain bowl and they had baked fresh pecan cinnamon rolls, Yummy! These are some of the Best cinnamon rolls I have put in my mouth. Don't miss a chance to taste some yummy on your taste buds!

Bakery and eatery for lunch and breakfast. Every meal includes a vegan option. Sweets and snacks are so delicious and made with the best ingredients. Sliced sourdough is the real thing.

CARB LOVERS OF COLUMBIA REJOICE! B's is here to fulfill your every gluten-filled fantasy! True to my word, I had to go back 2 days in a row. The siren song of almond croissants was too strong to resist. Sadly I missed the croissants (the secret is out?) but snagged poppyseed Hamamtaschen and raspberry cream cheese babka. **the Hamamtaschen was one of the greatest things I've put in my mouth** Perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. Pure poppyseed perfection. The babka was excellent for Saturday breakfast. It's a shame for my waistline that I live 5 mins away!

Amazing amazing everything is delicious here!!! The staff is amazing and friendly. This is one of the best bakeries I have ever been to. My husband and I travel around the US I can easily say this is one of the best we have been to in the US.

Had the most DELICIOUS (and vegan!) lunch ever today! Such a great little place and the employees were just delightful. Can't wait to eat here again!

Quite literally the most delicious buckwheat Pancakes I've ever had! The staff is so sweet and you can tell they put a lot of TLC into their menu

We had a vegan quiche and the walnut pancakes. It is such great value for the price, definitely recommend trying them. There are also, of course, tons of vegan cookies and little cakes for $1.75 to $3.50 each, great deal!

LOVE B's!! The almond croissant is literally from heaven. Friendly service and delicious food - great combo!

I was visiting the area from Chicago and went to B's for some treats. I am used to being in a city with a ton of amazing food, so I wasn't sure what to expect - but this place was GREAT! The chocolate babka was incredible. The homemade crackers were so light and good. I keep waiting for them to do cross-country shipping so I can get more babka! It's worth a stop when in town - I know I'll be back.

B's is the best bakery around, no question! Everything we've had has been fantastic and the owners are so friendly and attentive. We have regularly visited on Fridays to purchase their challah bread and rarely are we able to leave without some of their delicious pop-tarts, babka, cookies, or sweet rolls in hand as well. Some of our favorites include the chorizo and cheddar, curry vegetable, and apple pop-tarts; the triple ginger, peanut butter, and B's cookies; and their variety of babka. Recently we ordered a peppermint bark chocolate cake to celebrate a family birthday and it was not only beautiful, it was one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. It was such a special treat for a December birthday!
