12 Affordable Restaurants in Ann Arbor, Michigan near the University of Michigan | Eater Detroit

"BTB’s lineup of burritos and quesadillas has been a campus favorite for close to 20 years. Burritos are the quintessential antidote for late night munchies and BTB serves them up until 1 a.m." - John Reyes

Google
It was good. Only outside seating. Relatively affordable food for the area. Burritos are huge. Guacamole and sour cream are a $4.75 upcharge to an entree. Food is good though. Guacamole is good.

Unbeatable Jacob

Google
BTB is a great spot for a quick burrito. The burritos easily get 5 stars from me! However, every time we order the fries and queso and are disappointed in the quantity of fries they give you. I understand that portion sizes in the US are often inflated and unnecessarily large, but they really skimp on the amount of fries they give you for some reason. Other than that, great spot.

Knight Reaper

Google
I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from your restaurant. The grilled chicken burrito I received had a strong fishy, tuna-like smell and taste, which is highly unusual and suggests the chicken was either not fresh or improperly stored. This raises serious concerns about food safety and handling in your kitchen.

Google
This is without a doubt the single best vegetarian burrito in the world. Try it, add guac and red and green sauce. It just does not disappoint for a decade straight. I love you BTB

Shannon De Poorter

Google
The food and customer service are amazing! So many were happy that they had nice vegetarian options, because they usually only get bad salad for catered lunches. Others liked that you could make your own bowls, in addition to the lil premade burritos. Guac was great, salsa was also great! "burritos were perfectly me-sized "

Will Pinto

Google
Had been craving a burrito and decided to give BTB a try and was not disappointed. I got a steak burrito with guac and medium salsa which ended up being a little pricey at $13 but it was so good. My only issue is that they have no seating so I had to walk all the way back to my dorm in order to eat. I will definitely be coming back with my friends whether it’s for lunch or a midnight snack.

Emma Camp

Google
Food is really good, but paid $2 to add queso to my burrito the last 2 times I ordered, only to get home and find out my burrito has none.

Google
We tried the California burrito and chicken quesadilla. Both were great portion sizes and tasty. I love that this spot on campus is affordable and good.

Yelp
It's time for me to update this review for the better... I haven't been to the facility since the original review, and I think they have moved from their original location. So, maybe parking is better... With that said, I ordered BTB via grubhub the other day for my partner to try out. She had a fajita chicken quesadilla -- and I again ordered the Fire & Ice Steak burrito. I also got some waffle fries and queso. The burrito was hot, even after delivery - it was tasty, filling, and with some hot sauce it couldn't have gotten much better. The queso and waffle fries is an interesting take instead of chips, but i'm on board. They were great, the queso was good. The only complaint from the girlfriend was that her chicken seemed bland, like it needed seasoning. We tossed some spices on it, and it worked out just fine. I would order this again based on this experience. It was a huge upgrade from the last time I went into the location many moons ago.

Yelp
Can't follow simple order instructions on an online order. It's like they made it with no regards to customer satisfaction. $18 worth of a burrito trashed. Thanks BTB! will be sure to take business elsewhere.

Yelp
BTB, formerly Big Ten Burrito, was my favorite cheap eat restaurant when I was a college student. It quickly became a popular late-night haunt for students for its cheap and filling burritos. Back when BTB first opened on State Street my favorite item on the menu, the vegetarian burrito, was only $3 and packed with rice, lettuce, black beans, and cheese. This was my first time returning to BTB in nearly 15 years. The vegetarian burrito is now $5.50 and less filling compared to the good ol' days, but the taste remains pretty much the same. It has since moved from State Street to Good Time Charley's on S. University Ave.

Yelp
My friends and I are frequent costumers at BTB, especially for late night eats. Current favorites are the shredded chicken quesadilla and San Diego burrito!

Yelp
Good, solid food with huge portions. After a night of drinking, nothing beats BTB. I've never eaten in, always delivery, but the food is consistently good. I've never been disappointed. After introducing my boyfriend to BTB, he's obsessed.

Yelp
Good bean burrito on U of M's campus on first day of students being back. Now everything is packed. Cool multi level monster.

Yelp
My favorite burrito in the longest time!! I got the deluxe steak burrito (deluxe makes all the difference) and everything about it was wonderful. Quick and easy service
google avatar

Yelp
Me and my friend decided to eat at this restaurant because we wanted some burritos after going to the gym. I decided to get the San Diego burrito while my friend got the bomber burrito. My burrito had steak, pico de gallo, cheese, and waffle fries. Having had burritos in San Diego and since it's been a while that I've had a burrito, I was pretty excited to try this. However, I was pretty disappointed. The cheese was overwhelming, the waffle fries were mushy, and the steak was flat. This made the burrito taste like a mashed potato cheese burrito with a little bit of steak and vegetables. My friend also said his bomber burrito was too spicy and was unable to finish it. The best thing was probably the pico de gallo. Overall, I wouldn't come here again.

Yelp
Ordered for pickup through ChiwNow. We selected a beef burrito with a side of chips and salsa (extra). Included a tip. When we arrived to pay, we asked where the chips and salsa were. Didn't see them. We were told the fryer was down so there were no chips. We were then asked if we still wanted the salsa. There was so offer to refund the amount I had already paid. Nor was there an offer to replace the chips with something else. Terrible response to this issue. Now to the ground beef burrito. Weak. Ground beef lacked flavor/seasoning. There was a massive amount of beans included. It was somewhat of a veggie burrito. Not impressive at all. I'd skip this restaurant and seek other options.

Yelp
Update: I will not go into South U Studentland if I don't really have to. I hope BTB gets a more breathable spot soon because we haven't been since they 'temporarily' moved their operations to Good Time Charley's.

Yelp
Good place for quick and easy food. The burritos are pretty good quality with good ingredients. There are a few vegetarian and vegan options which is always a plus. On any given night out you can find a bunch of people getting late night food, so this serves as south campus' comfort food. It's a small establishment with one table and no room to move when there's a long line (which happens frequently). I would recommend ordering to take home and eat in the comfort of your own home without people bumping into you as they go up to order. The guys behind the counter are really nice! They ask deliver to certain locations if you order online!

Ishan B.

Yelp
Super bland. Even with hot sauce, there is absolute no seasoning on anything and it's not worth the price at all. If you can't handle spice at all maybe it'll be good for you
google avatar

Pedro S.

Yelp
Ordered online that included chips and salsa. Was charged for it, but did not receive my chips and salsa. When I called back, they did not make any offer to make it right. When you make a mistake, you should do more than the bare minimum to make up for it. I will not go back and do not recommend. Edit: The burrito I ordered was supposed to have beans and cheese. There are no beans or cheese in this burrito.
google avatar

Abbie R.

Yelp
Ordered through Grubhub and waited 2 hrs for an order that never came, despite being told by the restaurant that it's on its way. My husband instead ate Cheetos and 3 bags of gushers for dinner.

Mallory S.

Yelp
Burritos are one of my favorite foods ever and this place sadly disappointed. Very overpriced food for starters. My chicken burrito was all one texture: mushy. The rice (with no flavor), beans (straight out of a can), cheese, and tortilla made one soggy mess. The employees were nice and the food was overall okay. The most disappointing part was that apparently 3 years ago this was burrito place to go in Ann Arbor.
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
Good quality ingredients and open late, BTB is your perfect place for a good ol college town indulgence. $11 -$12 for a giant burrito the size of your forearm is a great deal, not to mention it also comes with guac. To complete the college aesthetic, they're also open until 4am, so you can get a midnight chimichanga which by law, tastes better the later it is. BTB is exactly what you want out of a place like this.
google avatar

Yelp
BTB Burrito is an A-OK quick Mexican fix on the cheap. Nothing fancy, nothing insanely mind blowing but it gets the job done if you want some Americanized Mex eats and you'll leave full, both in tummy and in wallet. The last meal I grabbed there were nachos when I was feeling like some chips were in order for dinner. They were definitely stacked high with loads of toppings--black beans, ground beef, salsa, cheese, sour cream and guac for 7 bucks. It was SO.MUCH.FOOD. Definitely one to split since nachos don't exactly hold up well for leftovers (unless you have some extra chips handy). Quesadillas will run you between 3 and 5 bucks, tacos around $2-4. Yes, it's cheap, filling eats that are much better than your standard fast food fare but not quite gourmet. Its location is a bit lamentable if you're not on foot since it's right on State Street and parking can be kind of a pain. Although I've consistently lucked out when I've gone and gotten parking right in front at the meters. They're super fast and the staff is quite friendly. I placed my order for nachos and was out the door in probably about 5 minutes. Not bad for carry out that isn't call ahead. Yes, you'll do BTB Burrito. You'll do.
google avatar

Andrew P.

Yelp
In Ann Arbor, there are three main burrito places: Panchero's, Chipotle, and BTB. If you're looking for a customizable, organized dining experience, stick with Chipotle. To experience a college town joint, BTB and Panchero's are the places to be. BTB burritos are basic burritos with rice, pinto beans, and a lukewarm meat. For $1 more, you get guac and sour cream. It's nothing special but it's a pretty decent deal for the quantity. It's not quality - but nobody really cares about that around 2AM or later.

Sara F.

Yelp
I live 4 blocks away. Ordered my partner some delivery from this joint, thinking it would be fast since they had a hard day. Two hours later, still no food, people working at the restaurant had no idea what our order was, where it was, or what had happened. So, uh, if you wanna spin the roulette wheel and see if you'll pay for food you never get, go ahead and order from this place?

Yelp
Not good. Took a very long time and left me feeling very sick.

Yelp
BTB, you saved me again last night! This is really the place to go for a burrito if you're downtown. Home of "two-meal" type giant burritos, BTB is fast, super-cheap and open until the wee hours. It's perfect after-bar food, but also a place to get a quick bite between classes if you're over near this edge of campus anyhow. I happen to live few blocks away, so it's sort of an ol' standby at this point. If you do go after the bar closes -- say Thurs-Sat. 2:15-3:30 am, be prepared for a line out the door (the interior dining and waiting space is tiny), and annoying drunk people on cellphones trying to elbow in front of you in line. Stand your ground and you'll be fine. They mean no harm, they're just drunk (as you probably are at this point as well), and just desperately want to get to the burrito goodness up at the counter. And it IS goodness. The portions are huge, and all of the ingredients taste unprocessed and identifiable, unlike with some burrito chains. My recent favorite: The vegan plate is a huge container of food (rice, black beans, pinto beans, salsa, guacamole) for only four bucks. Add on some chips for one dolla more, and you're got yourself a feast (potentially for two), whether you're vegan or not!
google avatar

Claire I.

Yelp
The food was good but the portions were a little upsetting. My food took a ridiculously long time to be ready after the time that they told me it would be ready. The employees weren't the friendliest either.

Yelp
BTB rocks, it blew my socks off how damn good it was, faster than any drive thru, great service, cheap and filling as hell, that is the definition of 5 stars for me! The people working are great, it took us forever to decide what and how big we wanted to go, they even let us sample the meat so we could be sure what we wanted. That didn't make it much easier, all the meats were very good. We went with a large steak burrito ($10), a regular grilled chicken chimi($7), a quesadilla ($2) and a grilled veggie salad($5), everything was huge and came with chips, salsa, and we got the different hot sauces and guacamole as well. All this for $25 and the 3 of us were stuffed to the brim all night, which says alot for my two huge male fellow diners. Everything was extreamly good, the salad had the best house (balsamic) dressing, all the sauces, everything stood out and had its own homemade authentic flavor. Beats any Chipotle/Qdoba! Tbis location is tiny and though we drove by so many times I would have never noticed it, they only have one table, but most people get the food to go. You can't beat the price/taste of this anywhere, LOVE BTB!

Yelp
Went here for dinner tonight because I was craving something substantial after the gym. Since this place seems to be loved in A2, I though I'd give it a try. I must say, It's pretty mediocre. Then again, I'm from California, where good Mexican is plentiful. Pluses: + Friendly Staff + Quick Service + Simple Menu with Simple Pricing (Yay for Round Numbers) + Nice options to make things healthier (fat free cheese, fat free sour cream, and whole wheat tortillas). + Serve Chicken Breast, rather than mystery chicken parts. Minuses: - Food came out cold. - Small Interior. - Food was mediocre at best. I think I prefer Chipotle over Big Ten Burrito. I like their Corn Salsa and Cilantro Lime Rice. However, I would go back to give it another try.

Yelp
Great vegetarian options. Fast service, great prices. I LOVE THIS BURRITO PLACE! I recommend going here every single day.

Yelp
Kinda fell off during corona since it is now being prepared at good time Charlie's.... not the same for some reason. Everything is a bit underwhelming

Yelp
So it's been a couple of fun weeks with BTB Cantina finally opening its doors to the public. I don't know if having an excuse to have a margarita in the afternoon is a good thing, but hey, screw it! When I walked up the steeper-than-usual staircase to the larger-than-usual BTB I expected a cheap-as-usual burrito with a cheap alcoholic beverage to match. Turns out, I got just what I wanted. The place is huge compared to the BTB on State, and the decor makes you feel like your in a lounge. Also, because you get the same friendly service, it's almost like you're at someone's house. Of course, your friend would have to be rich because there's pinball machines, a bar, and guys that make you tasty burritos on command. Then again, I think I heard somewhere that most U of M students come from some of the wealthiest families in the nation (spoiled bastards!) Anyway, the most remarkable thing about this place are the drinks. You get a wide assortment of alcoholic beverages to choose from for a place like BTB. Although you shouldn't expect to see the never-ending shot list or the variety of other drinks that they have downstairs at Good Time Charley's, you should expect some of the same bartenders you see at GTC making your drink. I was really pleased with this because I was expecting the same guys making the burritos to be the same ones trying to get me drunk. Bottom line, the preparation is excellent. The drinks are cheap too. The cheapest one they have is a margarita that costs a about 5 bucks. True, they have more expensive ones if you're a connoisseur and need Patron in your liver, but in my opinion the $5 drink is superb and, unless I have money to throw away, I don't see any reason to drop any more cash. I've only been here at night once and all I can remember was that it was crowded (but not uncomfortable like a house party). I'll leave the nightlife to someone else to yelp about. Thanks BTB for turning me into a drunk. P.S. South U. smells wonderful now.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Ann Arbor. Their curbside pickup was seamless, and the food carried extremely well.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
I ordered the rice bowl and I received a sauce bowl. I could barely eat my food because it felt like a soup. Apart from the sauce I ordered half and half, half chicken half steak. The steak was un chewable because it was not meat but nerves. It was so gross to eat. Not to mention that after eating only a 1/4 of the bowl my stomach started to feel funny. I also ordered the churros those were really yummy. NEVER AGAIN.

Yelp
I have been waiting to write a review for this place. I tend to give people an unusually long time to make a judgement about them. This is the case with btb. I can honestly say, while they have, for me, one good thing on their menu (shredded chicken) this place is a complete joke. The wait staff are some of the rudest people of all time. Sorry 20 somethings, i know you hate your life because you actually have to work and not just party and go to u of m, but jesus christ, act like you are interested in at least taking my money for the business that pays you. Then there are the cooks....i dont know if they have 7 different cooks there, 1 for each day of the week, but if thats the case, theres only 1 cook that is decent. And decent ISNT good. 1/7 times a week there food is just ok, mostly its the wrong order, or filled with uncooked crunchy beans, or the burrito is 99 percent undercooked rice... 1 percent something you didnt even order, or ice cold so you have to microwave it. Etc etc.. For instance i ordered a steak burrito no pico de gallo.. (i went easy on them, because I know if i gave them too many directions their brain would probably melt and do the opposite of what i asked for.) well i got one... with EXTRA pico, on top of that, the steak tasted like they dropped it in a coal grill, coated it with ashes and only picked out the grizzle to put back in. I want to like this place, but from the workers, to the delivery guys/gals sometimes never even delivering my order(so i have to call back in the morning with no food and wait 2 weeks to get my money back on my debit card), to the 1 out of 7 days where the food might be worth the 30 dollars for 2 items... its just not worth the gamble. At all. Also, the owner saves face and acts like he cares on their (facebook) website, but doesn't respond to private messages after he offers you a deal to make up for his failing, ungrateful, overprivileged, ding dongs they call workers. Ew out of 10 Nightmare out of 10 Money trap out of 10 Blah I figured i would try it out a couple months later, all i have to say is that my order tried to remind them that the shredded chicken burrito comes with refried beans.. thats it.... welp... they chose the uncooked pinto beans, went hard on them too, the 3$ i chose to pay for extra meat, just went to the amount of crunchy pinto beans. Update on this review. It still stands, they manually wrote in PLEASE!!! Next to our requests on the delivery order. To be honest, i would have said please if this was a favor but its not, its an order, im buying food from you, with requests on how i want it to be, i specified to put guacamole on the side for one burrito and guacamole in another, only reason i made it that in depth is because you guys cant get it right. Sorry but this is the last time i order it for you. PLEASE next time dont treat the people keeping you in business like assholes.

Yelp
Hands down, best place to get a burrito in Ann Arbor! If I could, I could eat here every day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great burrito at a reasonable price!

Chris D.

Yelp
By far the best burrito place EVER! I used to live in AA and took it for granted. Now I live an hour away...and I still get it. Make sure to get all the hot sauces.

Yelp
1. Land boring web contact 2. Build website 3. Realize you didn't eat today 4. Drive 17 miles to BTB at 3am 5. Get giant burrito 5. Find a spot at the only table 6. Watch Bob's Burgers with a cop and eat burrito
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Amazing! Thank you BTB for your service. You can only place online orders or in person orders, no over the phone? Great food, well portioned for the most part, and healthy. Small seating area, near Packard/ Hill. Good location for me. Late night hours.
google avatar

Catharine P.

Yelp
If you are hungry, it's late at night, or drunk this is a great place to go. The burritos are huge, full of ingredients and cheap. These aren't the best burritos in the world, but they have a bunch of flavor and are also made super quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
I want to go ahead and start this by stating that I never knew this place existed in all my time working midnights in Ann Arbor. I was told about this place recently by a employee I work with, and decided to give them a shot since they talked it up greatly, talking about how it was 20x better than Qdoba (which I like). Wow,... what a joke. This was by far the worse 'Mexican' I've had in a while. I got a Half & Half Burrito bowl with half chicken and half steak. I wish I had asked for no pico because I can't stand raw onion, but that's my fault. The food I got was sub par at best,... the beans tasted canned and not cooked properly (some were crunchy). The meat itself was crap, the steak was 90% fatty and inedible due to this. The chicken was dried out and rather bland as well. The pico was my fault since I don't like onion and didn't realize it came with it (since their online ordering has boxes for "no X" despite if the item comes with it or not,... so much confusion there. I also ordered a chips&Queso due to the $10 minimum ordering requirement,..... I ate my bowl,... because I paid for it,... but honestly was rather put out about how bland the entire thing was, as well as the fact that it was cold/lukewarm. Then when I opened up the Queso, it was the most generic white queso I've ever seen (fairly certain it was Tostino's white queso). So, I can put up with that because I'm still hungry due to not eating 1/3 of my burrito bowl. I get to the third chip and I notice a green tint on it. Immediately I'm put off, and look at the rest of the chips seeing the same thing through a good portion of them. So not only did I get cold bland boring "mexican", but I also got what I feel was moldy chips. All that for $17 (tip included). You'll forgive me for not coming back here ever again,.... The only reason it didn't get 1 star was because the delivery driver was very nice, called ahead to let me know she was on the way and a time frame for the delivery. When she got here, she thanked me for the tip as well as ordering through them. Very polite and the only reason this place didn't fail hard.

Shayan G.

Yelp
Yo this place is great for a late night food run. It's pretty cheap and tasty. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was pretty normal and savory as far as burritos go. I think I definitely need to come back and give this place a second try. I've heard their chicken quesadillas are lit! For reference the burritos are Chipotle sized! That's what I'm talking about!
google avatar

Omar R.

Yelp
Its a drunk food burrito joint, crazy greasy and open super late. The food isn't at all bad tasting, just really heavy and visibly unhealthy. Got a quesadilla once that literally gushed out grease with every bite. Pretty much perfect when you're sauced and hungry at 2 AM, and not really worth it at any other point in the day. I'd recommend the fire and ice burrito, but pretty much anything on the menu will hit the spot if you're in the mood for this kind of restaurant. BTB's definitely got it's niche, and I think it does it pretty well, but I'll never understand how people eat here sober.
google avatar

Barb M.

Yelp
I'd always heard this place was good so I ordered a burrito thru GrubHub for lunch and it was great! Fast delivery and although it was a little soggy when I took it out of the container it was just a little and still hot. Also, super fresh veggies and ingredients. Definitely one of the best burritos I've had around here. Chipotle or Qdoba do not even compare.
google avatar

Devin P.

Yelp
Pretty small joint hard to get seating. Food wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing. Just a lot of burrito for your buck. I got the San Diego and found the steak to be very salty.

Justin F.

Yelp
Normally, after getting my delivery orders wrong 90% of the time I wouldn't bother coming back... but these burritos are so good I can't help myself. Only 2 stars because they always forget something... always 6/8. Still forgetting things

Yelp
The employees at this shop are complete scumbags. Particularly the woman who works at the front taking your order. I came in here one afternoon with a girl and ordered a Burrito Bowl without cheese, because I am allergic to both gluten and dairy. When my order was ready I was called to the front and handed a burrito, instead of a burrito bowl like I ordered. I explained to the woman I placed my order with that I was gluten intolerant, and asked if she could have the burrito emptied out into a bowl. She replied telling me no, that I had ordered a burrito, and so that's what I got. I asked her why she couldn't just open the burrito and put the contents of it into a bowl, or have the kitchen (which is directly behind her) redo it because I had an allergy. She told me I could do it myself and shoved an empty plate in my direction. I thought forget it, told her that her customer was disappointing, but I didn't want to continue arguing about it. I went outside, sat down with my friend, and proceeded to open up the burrito.. What do I find inside? Cheese throughout the burrito; long white strings of it. I have my friend taste it and she confirms that yes, it is definitely cheese (which I had asked the woman to withhold from my order). I bring my food back inside and show her the cheese in my burrito. She says, "Well since my customer service is disappointing, I don't think I should redo your order," and proceeds to laugh. The guy in the kitchen speaks up and goes "No he's right, let me fix that for you," and makes me a new burrito bowl without cheese (or bread). As he's making my new bowl, the woman turns around and very loudly says to the chef, "Hey, make sure you don't put any spit in there," and starts cracking up again. I'm appalled at the fact that this woman, or any employee for that matter, would speak to a customer in such a manner, and that the other employees would stand idly by while a customer is treated with such utter disrespect. This is easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and obviously will not be returning.

Yelp
After kicking myself multiple times for not remembering the summer hours for btb in east lansing, I found myself presented with the opportunity to satisfy my hankering for a chickendilla with hot sauce-- although in Ann Arbor-- not my preferred EL. Shamelessly giddy as I walked through the doors, I marched up to the counter and placed my order. Within minutes I was handed a bag with a semi-friendly, "There ya go." Too excited to wait until I got home, I ripped open the bag and full blown panic set in... Did they think I ordered a burrito? My friend immediately calmed my nerves by saying, that's how they make it-- they just kind of roll it all up. Oh. Rationalizing with myself that it is the ingredients that provide the taste not the appearance I try my first bite. oh. ... little bit of a disappointment. I definitely like btb in East Lansing MUCH better.. but, because of the namesake, I have to give this place a 3 star rating. Hey, can't bite the hand that feeds ya.

Yelp
As the name implies, BTB Burrito, which I still reflexively call Big Ten, sells burritos. They also have all number of other dishes that can be assembled from tortillas, rice, beans, and meats. They're pretty good. They are shockingly gigantic, even the regular ones. My only gripes with the place are that it is teeny teeny teeny, so eating in is kind of weird, and I wish they'd make it easier to know what their salsas and hot sauces are so I could grab some on the side. BTB is one of those places where I always end up either wanting more hot sauce in the burrito, or dying of my mouth being on fire from the hot sauce already in the burrito. An on-the-side setup would help. When BTB first opened years ago, I ordered nachos to go and discovered they did not melt the cheese on them. I hope that was an anomaly but have never ordered nachos there again to check. I mean, ordering nachos at a burrito joint is a total amateur move anyway, right?

Yelp
Oh BTB, how you satisfy my drunken cravings for fast tasty mexican! Unfortunately I only had a chance to eat at this place once I had left UofM, otherwise I would be there every night! Their ingredients are fresh, and the food is always pipping hot even on cold days! And it's mega cheap, perfect for college kids that have no money and for the rest of us who have no money b/c the economy sucks! I love getting the steak or chicken burritto or nachos with EVERYTHING especially extra jalapenos and hot sauce..... mmmm. One time I was fasting so I had to eat vegetarian, and i couldn't believe that it still tasted awesome! Although the joint has slim to no seating, that's kind of the charm of the place.... it's more fun to devour your burrito while chillin on the curb w/ a group of friends on a summer night anyways!

Yelp
This is the best place to go on your way home from a night out. Not only because it's open til 4am on weekends (always a plus!), but because there's delicious mexican food, seating, and you always meet nice people. Recently i moved into a house that is only a five minute walk from there. So of course i grab BTB at every chance i get! Probably not good for my health, but so delicious. All of their burritos are great, but for being a burrito place, i love the quesadillas. Yes, i've tried quesadillas at all mexican joints...they're just so good! But BTBs are especially tasty. I also love that they have two types of chicken to choose from.

Yelp
This single star is solely for the food, which is JUST this side of disgusting. Had one of the burritos in a bowl, the shredded steak, and it was all I could do to not vomit. Sorry to all the folks who love this place, but this was really, really bad. I'm sure the scene's better at night, but the food's crap.

Yelp
When I moved, the first night I went out I asked the bouncer to recommend the best late-night Mexican place in town. His only suggestion was Taco Bell. I immediately regretted my move. BTB was on my way home from the bars, class, and work. It was always fairly busy, peaking on football Saturdays and any night after midnight. Even still, the guys cranked out quesos and burritos like nobody's business. With no line, you can be in and out within 5 minutes. I also like how their prices include tax, so you aren't dealing with change. Easier for them and for you. I also really like the nachos here, HOWEVER I always get the chips separate because if you order the nachos and then walk home, by the time you open up the box the chips are all soggy. I think they actually give you more nacho toppings. The one time I had a burrito here I didn't really like it...so I stick to the chicken quesadillas and nachos. The owners are great, and have sponsored a couple clubs on campus (namely the boys' club soccer team). I think they have the ability and reputation to expand to other campuses and do really well. I think calling it BTB Burrito is kind of weird, since those of us who have been going since its opening know it's technically now called "Big Ten Burrito Burrito" but I will always refer to it as Big Ten or BTB. Lawsuits are overrated.

Yelp
I've had food both at the door and delivered from BTB, and every time the service has been somewhat decent. But no one should have to wait 2 hours for an order to go through, even if it is done by a third party service. I ordered tonight for an order and was told it would take 45-60 minutes to deliver, but the delivery guy brought the wrong order for the wrong address saying that he would go back and bring me the right order. Half an hour passed and nothing happened, no call and no food. I called the restaurant asking the status on my order and had to provide my information again. Now it's two hours later and nothing. Never ordering online from them again.
