Bubba's 33

Food was good. Onion rings are the best! The only downside was the tv was a bit too loud. I get it’s more a sports bar vibe going but the tv shouldn’t be so loud that you can’t hear someone next to you. Definitely not a place to talk lol but maybe go when it’s not so busy. All and all I would go here again so the noise lvl isn’t too bad

I had the chicken avocado bacon sandwich. It was excellent. Food and drinks at this location are excellent. Tremendous number of TVs to watch any game that you would want. Great restaurant sports bar type environment. Caila was a great waitress I recommend this restaurant

I always enjoy my time at Bubba’s 33! I ordered a pizza and the crooked cheese, and both were seriously delicious. The pizza had the perfect crispy crust, plenty of toppings, and just the right amount of cheese, it tasted super fresh and flavorful. The crooked cheese was also amazing, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and a satisfying cheese pull. I also tried their blue lemonade. It was refreshing, sweet and had a unique flavor that I loved. The atmosphere at Bubba’s 33 is laid-back and similar to a sports bar, making it a great spot to hang out however, the music is played obnoxiously loud, so you’ll need to yell to talk with your fellow diners. The staff was friendly and attentive, and my food came out quickly.

Large portions mixed with great service and great price is exceptional to find now days! Highly recommend! I’m a big guy and I couldn’t finish my entire meal! They really did impress me!

We came here as a party of seven, and while the service was friendly, the food took quite a while to come out. The steak was definitely the highlightwell-cooked and flavorful. The lasagna, on the other hand, tasted more like something you'd find in the frozen section (think Stouffer's), and the chicken pasta was just okay—lacking in flavor. There were also some hiccups with getting the drinks right, which didn’t help the overall experience. For the price, I expected a bit more. Still, if you’re hungry and in the area, it’s an okay spot to try at least once.

Great tasting food and appetizer. Guacamole bacon cheeseburger cooked perfectly and juicy. The chicken sandwich was huge and just as delicious and juicy. Will definitely be back again.

First time in this location, and when I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be back hoping Chris is the bartender! He was running the show with no issues, keeping drinks moving, customers happy, and area clean! Food was hot and fresh! As a first time guest felt like a regular because Chris was on top of his game. Very professional, efficient, and the best around. Keep up the great work Chris!!

Came on 07/25/25 after 4:30 pm We were a big group of 10. Our server was Mr.Johnny he was very sweet and friendly and made sure we all were served well. We began ordering appetizers and we all placed our orders at the same time and We all had our own bill. Our appetizers came at different times. it’s a busy Friday and I don’t mind the wait but after a while I noticed everyone else had there appetizers and they were almost done eating them and my order which consisted of 1/2 order of onion rings were yet to arrive. I am very patient and understanding so I don’t get upset, I let Mr Johnny know and he apologized went to go check on the order. He came back to tell me they will be right out, another 15-20 minutes went by and nothing, my coworker noticed and stopped Mr Johnny to tell him I didn’t want them any more by this time every one was literally done with appetizers. And mine never arrived. He then went and got his supervisor or manager not sure who she was of the two, she came to address the fact that I no longer wanted them not once did she Start with an apology for the inconvenience of me feeling hungry as a customer and never got my food, she was more concerned that I wanted to cancel that order that I never got and was a bit confrontational in regard that a server brought the order that I placed but apparently was given to someone else, she said so you don’t want the onion rings, I said no because I never got them and by this point it’s been almost 30 minutes since I ordered them. Our group had already by this point ordered there food. It felt as if she were trying to say it in a way of accusation that I did get the order so why am I trying to cancel it, I was trying to explain to her yes I ordered that but it didn’t come to me I am not sure who they gave them to but they were not given to me, we were in a very long table she then continued to try to investigate and question me and then gave up when eventually my coworkers in a group began to explain to her the situation that someone else ordered onion rings as well but they only placed that order under my tab but was given to someone else, she then apologized and stated they will have them out for me. A very long time later I got the onion rings. (Greasy) so greasy my fingers were super wet by touching them.But anyway I had already placed my order for food way before my onion rings came out and AGAIN I ordered the BACON AVOCADO CHEESE BURGER WITH FRIES, AGAIN a little while later the food began to arrive for all the people on the table and my order once again delayed, we all ordered at the same time and in order, I am sitting watching everyone eat there food, they all once again noticed I didn’t get my food by then everyone had there food, while later Mr Johnny came to check on us and we told him my food had not arrived he apologized to me very politely and I just made a comment they do not like me today, he then went to check on my order, once again I waited over 15-20 minutes additionally to had placing my order so it was a long time most of my group were already almost done that’s how long that was there food on there plates were corners left. He came back again and checked and no food still, he told me don’t worry about it I got you, my burger then came out he brought it himself, I told him thank you so much, I began to eat my food and it was not good at all, All that waiting and that burger was one of the saltiest meals in my life! It was so salty I forced my self to eat half then combined with fries even worse! Did not finish my meal, I hate wasting my money and food. It was such a disappointment this was my 1st time here and had high hopes. Very disappointed with the whole situation. But Mr Johnny was so sweet and attentive tried to do the best he could and he gave me coupon for free pizza and did not charge for for my onion rings HE DID A HECK OF BETTER JOB THAN THE SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER ON THE FLOOR THAT DAY! He tried to accommodate me and help me and he was apologetic never being rude like the supervisor. He apologized for her as well so sweet.

Food and service was great Never disappoints !!! Food is always hot and I have tried a lot of entrees here !

Food and service was really good. But know, this is like a sports bar with TV's everywhere and it is loud. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Inside atmosphere was comfortable and filled with neon signs and lights. The three stars represented the bathroom needed attention. Not horrible but a good sweeping, etc.

This was my first time here. I am always super sketchy about my chicken so when I order wings at a new place, I cut into it just to make sure nothing is pink or bleeding. This would be why. The waitress and manager were super nice and accommodating to seeing the issue. They tried to remake it with only flats and no drums, only for the chicken to still be pink. This review is not to be made bad about the staff or any of the other food. My partner ordered a cheeseburger and it was fantastic. But if you are planning to order the wings, my advice is to maybe cut into it before you take a bite. They did give us a voucher for a free entrée, but considering that this was my first experience, I do not believe that I will be going back.

I love the $4 drinks! The mango margarita was excellent. Chicken tenders were awesome & the burger was delicious! Our server was attentive & also patient with our party. Really enjoyed our visit on a Friday night

Beyone disappointed came here two weeks ago to watch the game..... no big ten network they said that it was just an error and it would be fixed by next week! Two weeks later we called first to see it was fixed, they said yep! Drove 30 minutes to get there and no they don't actually have it! Not to mention they have the bartender who is swamped in charge of checking and changing the channels. On a positive note Coach are server was great! I would tell you hoe the food was but we decided to go somewhere else.

Bubba's made me HAPPY! I enjoyed the food. Everything was tasty. I love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. It's a fun down to earth vibe. My salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was seasoned so well. The chicken wings were excellent. The BBQ sauce was flavorful. They give you plenty of fries with the fish sandwich. The pizza is pretty good. You can join the Bubba's club and earn freebies. I left happy and FULL. Bubba's does a body good. I had such a great time I went to their Colony location a few days later.

It has been a while since I have visited this establishment, so my review maybe a little biased based on my past experiences here. First and foremost the pizza is still amazing. Best ever! But the bar drinks aka beer does not appear to be as cold as advertised. Both tap beer I had were not as cold as I remembered. This is an issue with me. I feel management needs to look into this issue. Temperature gauges are needed to ensure advertised claims.

We used to visit this location often, but it had been quite a while. Since we were in the area, we decided to stop in. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated quickly, which started things off on a good note. Unfortunately, our server ruined that impression. When she brought our drinks out, she actually walked right past our table--drinks in hand--to chat with another table instead of simply setting ours down as she passed. Annoying, but I brushed it off. I ordered a small pizza with Italian sausage. A few minutes later, she returned saying, "We don't have a pizza called that." I explained, "It's just a cheese pizza, add sausage." She chuckled awkwardly and said, "Oh, yea," which made it seem like she didn't really know the menu. After that, it felt like she was embarrassed, because she barely checked on us for the rest of the meal and gave us little to no service. We left feeling certain that Esmeralda will be the reason Bubba's 33 in Mesquite won't be seeing us again.

The service from the wait staff was speedy with a very homelike vibe the food let me tell you the burger with cheese fry's was so damn good with the complimentary pickle slice nice and cool and crisp

Me and my boyfriend tried it for the first time a couple months ago and it was amazing, we got the chorizo dip for an appetizer and it's so delicious then we ordered a pizza and a cheeseburger for me and both were delicious as well. nothing negative about the service but it wasn't amazing she was chill and nice and the place was cool we will definitely be back again!

This was our first experience at Bubba's 33 and we had such a good time. The environment was very inviting. You could be in workout clothes or dolled up and you would be comfortable. When we arrived, we were put on the wait list and said about 5 minutes. But, there must have been some miscommunication between hosts because others who came in after us was sat. But, they quickly rectified thr situation. And we got the most lovely server Sarah. She was possibly the friendliest , most positive, bubbly server we have have had in some time. She was excellent. For dinner, we had the shrimp app. Super tasty. My hubby had 10 bone in wings, all drums, medium and hot. He got some of their tasty fries as well. He was very satisfied. I had 10 boneless and a side salad with a chicken tender (couldn't decide). The salad was fantastic. The wings were perfectly cooked but the breading got soggy. We will be back for sure.

Food always hot and fresh. Pork tenderloin sandwich is yummy. You have to try their side salad or big salad with potato strings.

Typically I would give Bubba's 33 a 5 stars. But this review is on a to-go order. Three pizza's & some wings for a total of $83.00 and this was the quality of our pizza. Definitely do not recommend getting your food to go from here.

Visited Bubba's 33 because we always see this off the highway. I can picture this place getting busy during a Sunday because of football and they have almost every game on as my eyes were going back and forth. They have the kiosk and advertise you to join their club. We did not join as I am not so sure if we are going to be regulars. We ordered the 12 Chicken wings Shrimp Sandwich Double Burger with bacon and guacamole We did not get any drinks, but water. The food came out really quickly. I definitely enjoy their shotgun sauce which was awesome. They had the garlic parmesean as well which was not so bad. Burger definitely filled me up and I ended up eating the whole thing. Service was okay.

Salmon salad was perfect! Lettuce et al, was crisp, salmon grilled just right. The strawberries and dried fruit added to the quinoa to round out the flavors. And the dressing topped the whole salad to perfection.

Interesting place, took my son and his family out here for his birthday dinner. Everything was so good and amazing. The service was spot on. Very friendly staff.

Food is always great! I treat myself regularly to a pork tenderloin sandwich since they're rare to find outside of Iowa/indiana/Missouri and a real treat for those of us settled here now. Always clean with energized staffing. Music videos and sports lining the walls on tv. They treat us really good every single time!

One of the best to ever do it! Speedy service, great environment, many TV's, ice cold beer, and great food. What more can you ask for?

I love Bubbas. The pizza is delicious. I always get the raspberry chipotle wings. The service is always genuine. It's like a sports bar, so it can get a little loud, but that's doesn't take away from the experience.

if i could give it zero stars i would. Service was terrible and it took 45 minutes to finally receive our food, after receiving our food my burger was RAW and when it was addressed to the manager all she said was "oh its a little pink let me give you guys a discount" then proceeded to take off 3 wimpy dollars.

Everything is so tasty here but EVERY TIME I eat the food, without fail, I have T-15 minutes to find a suitable bathroom to have the nastiest, most liquid diarrhea I've ever had in my life. I've eaten at the Michigan location numerous times - was even a regular at one point - and the same thing happened after each visit there too. Friends who've eaten there with me have also had the same diarrhea after. We joke that a salad shouldn't make you have the squirts, or that maybe the ranch has laxatives in it. Either way, be warned, you might want to come with anti-diarrheal medication on hand... or don't if you want a nice colon cleanse. Only one star off bc my food was sooo soggy but it was delivered to me so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I fully accept the risks of shitting my pants because of the food here, and I genuinely don't think it's food poisoning (I could be wrong) so no love lost because of it. Worth it!

Bubba's 33 was near my hotel tonight and reviews seemed decent. The bar was open seating and the Monday night football crowd was enjoying the pregame on the big screen TV's. I was very pleased with the classic burger and seasoned fries. I always try the onion rings when the menu reads beer batter onion rings. They were perfectly cooked with great taste. The bar staff was amazing at moving food & drinks throughout the bar. Great service tonight with a Monday night crowd.

The food and service was exactly what you would expect from a good sports bar. I had the blackened blue burger and the blue cheese dressing was balanced and not over powering. The table shared the loaded cheese fries and they were good but not the best I've had. The highlight was the side salad with ranch dressing. It was fresh, well dressed and covered with super crunchy fried onions. The side salad was so big it could have been a meal by itself. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise!

The restrooms were in horrible conditions. The stalls didn't have tissue, the toilets needed to be cleaned, stained tissue littered the ground and the baby changing station I needed to use was broken. Considering how unclean the restrooms wore; it made me worry about the state of the kitchen. This place has a nice vibe and the food was fine but I can't go back after seeing the bathrooms.

Fri, Mar 28 at 9:22 PM Hello.. just visited bubba's in mesquite tx.... i went to order chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.. then i ask for a piece of bread.. and to my surprise they said it would be an extra 1.39... since when do restaurants charge for a piece of bread... i requested the manager.. she informed me they don't give bread with that entree. The cost of the entree 13.99, a beverage 4.50.. and tip 5-10 dollars and they can't give a piece of bread to a customer..... so bubbs was willing to lose a customer over a piece of bread. I left and went across the parking lot to applebees.. they were more than happy to give me a piece of bread with my order... btw.. sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.. bubbs lost a customer over a piece of bread ... they join more and more companies that it's all about the money, and not the customer. Update on another visit. Owner said come back and give us another try.. they lied... evidently the owner needs to inform management because jada the manager ( which was very rude ) refused to give bread with a meal that i wanted to order... again I went across the parking lot to applebees... they were happy to give bread with the meal..

Nice, family environment with a variety of food and drinks. The bar and restaurant has plenty of TV's to watch sporting events.

waited over 15 minutes at the curbside pick up after confirming I was there and nobody brought me my food. I went inside and there's about a half a dozen people just standing around bullshitting being useless. Lazy workers

To-go order. Website easy to navigate. Curbside service was fast and friendly. Hawaiian pizza, onion rings, guacamole bacon burger with cheese fries. Everything was very good! Some of the best food I've had in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale/Garland area.

We come here at least once or twice a month. This time Blessing was not a Blessing but a disappointment! I'm guessing she's new cause we had never seen her before. We asked for a beer and she brought it & the beer was warm, we nicely asked her to bring a michelada . She took a long time to bring it, when she did it was warm with no ice! We asked for the manager & Rosa came and we explained about the warm beer and the michelada with no ice. She said they don't serve micheladas with ice there, when we told her that was incorrect cause we always drink micheladas there and they have served them with ice, she said they must of made a mistake! Anyways back to Blessing , also asked for ICED water, brings waters with like 3 ice cubes !! She took a long coming back and checking on us. What's going on with being stingy with the ice and No ice on the micheladas & serving warm beer! We were soooo disappointed! We're most not coming back again !!

This place is cool! Was greeted upon entering and was seated fast. Only critique is wished we would've had silverware upon sitting down, so we didn't have to ask the host after getting our food. But everything was tasty, delicious, and the drinks are pretty strong! Def will be back to try other foods and drinks! We also got the shark bite shrimp which was so good (didn't get a pic because we were hungry).

I absolutely love bubbas. Everything here is amazing and they have such a wide variety of food. The burgers and fries are delicious and very low price, the sweet tea is always perfect, my personal favorite are the nachos and pizza! We come here all the time and it's one of our favorite spots.

Bubba's 33 is a very well-kept secret! We had a shotgun shrimp app and drinks. Both were exceptional. For entries we had habanero burger and assorted flavors of wings. Both items were absolutely top notch. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Big menu and kind servers, you get what you get. The prices are a little better than chilis

Quick and courteous service. Food was hot, tasted great and came out fast. Hotyaki wings were great and complimented with seasoned fries. Beverages (beer) nice and cold.

The vibe was very welcoming, regardless of the variety of food each item was amazing and the server always asked if my table was doing fine. An amazing establishment i really hope they keep it up.

This is usually my go to when games are on. The crowd is pleasant. How can you mess up on a burger right? Well done to me means no pink well not what I received. I cut my burgers in half no matter what and when I cut it it was pink and almost raw in other places. I returned it and not much better . Real disappointed

Definitely a watering hole. Had the bleu cheese burger, fries and chili...Food was ok. Our waitress was nice but slow and could not offer any recommendations or opinion. We joked that she never ate or drank anything there before.

It's super loud and chaotic. Bar drink prices are some of the most reasonable around. Service was fast and friendly.

This is great place the atmosphere is fantastic. We went during the Cowboys / Browns game it was packed. The rivalry amongst the guest and even the waitstaff was fun and no arguing. The food was good, the onion rings were the best also the fried pickles. I would definitely recommend this place especially during game time.
