Bubba's 33

The staff were amazing today. My granddaughter was acting up and they asked if they could take her for a walk around the restaurant. They did not know it, but We were celebrating her birthday, which is tomorrow. She will be 2. The food was actually very very good. I would’ve given a five star review regardless. We will absolutely be back and this is my new favorite restaurant.!

The food here is yummy! Pizza is highly recommended but fish and chips were of the charts! Great place to watch sports too! TVs everywhere! Our waitress, Shelby was well informed about the menu and super friendly! I will definitely be back!

Came here with some friends on a hot day after golf. This place seems like a great place to hang out, have a drink and watch sports. They have plenty of TVs and drink prices are reasonable. The food was good for sportsbar food too. I had the monte cristo and it reminded me of the one from Bennigans back in the day. It even had the raspberry sauce come with it. What stood out to me, however is that they had a hospitality team that came around and greeted our party and gave us some coupons to come back for another visit in the near future. Very friendly and nice atmosphere. Ill be back.

I decided to pull up to Bubba's 33 for a late lunch-slash-early dinner, and judging by the packed parking lot, I knew it was going to be a busy spot. Inside, the wait for a table was about 15 minutes for two people—not bad for a bustling restaurant during peak hours. Once seated, I took a look at the menu, and I have to say, it was impressive. The drink selection, in particular, caught my eye. My wife opted for a spicy margarita, while I kept it classic with an iced tea. For appetizers, we started with loaded fries and medium buffalo wings. Both were solid choices, but the wings really stood out—the sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Definitely a highlight. For my entrée, I went with the shrimp po’boy, while my wife chose a salad. Both dishes were fresh and well-executed. The po’boy had a nice crunch to the shrimp, and the flavors came together really well. Overall, Bubba's 33 delivered a great dining experience. The atmosphere was lively, the food was solid, and the service was smooth despite the crowd. If you haven’t been, I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot. Would I go back? Absolutely.

This place is fantastic, the servers, the food and atmosphere are all exceptional. The Patriot Burger and the Big Ol Rings were delicious, it was my first time here but definitely not last

Food was as expected - great burgers, wings, fish and chips, appetizers. Cold beer on tap, just wish they some local brews, is that not a thing in Detriot? It's a little loud in there. Hard to carry on conversation if you don't have a strong voice. And I wish it wasn't 1000 degrees outside so that the big doors in the bar were open to the outside.

Me and my hubby looking for a fun place to eat yesterday and came across this great place, the service was amazing from the minute we walked in the door and were greeted to the waitress. Everyone was so nice and recommended foods and drinks. I have to say that this will become one of our go to places from now on, it was simply magnificent. Our drinks were great and the food tasted amazing definitely hit the spot over all 10/10… we recommend if you haven’t tried it to pass by and live the experience.

Went for the Garlic knots. They did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Pizza sauce was very good, not sweet. Cheese sauce was very good. Thin and warm. Would get again.

I came here while visiting a friend. Customer service was great, energetic atmosphere. Food was good.

This is a sports bar, so you can expect lots of television screens all over the place. I was here for our lunch book club discussion, so the TVs were a bit distracting but not horrible. The ambiance is what you would expect from a sports bar. We were seated in an oval table that probably had too many of us seated, so it was rather cozy. Our server (wish I had caught her name) was amazing! She managed to get all of our orders and special orders right, in addition to being on top of refills. I ordered a veggie burger with tater tots, along with a side of the usual house sauce. It wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. I found the tater tots greasy and only ate one. I think I'd order something else next time. I didn't study the menu but it seems like it's mainly burgers. I would have ordered a grilled chicken sandwich if I had seen it. It's just not a place that I would normally choose but the service was top notch. If you want to watch a game here, I'm sure you'd be happy with so many TV screens and many typical sports bar food options.

The fish n chips dinner is awesome! I've ordered the fish dinner at least two or three times when we visited. Hubby tried the Spicy Habanero burger and thought it was pretty good. Sis ordered Tenders and shrimp with fries. The shrimp was too salty. Our server spoke to manger and bill was adjusted. Food is good and service is nice.

This is a late review. However from what I remember and the pictures I've taken. The food here is good. Prices are reasonable and the service and vibes are nice. I got the spicy chicken sandwhich it was what I expected. Had great flavor and was nice and crispy.

Our server was great! Food was mostly good. Portions were huge! It was loud and hard to talk to my family though.

First off. The place was packed to the brim on a random Sunday afternoon so my expectations were already high. Even with that, the food still came out promptly and was very delicious. I got two of the $4 margaritas, one was sangria and the other mango. Both were very sweet but delicious especially for only $4 each. The burger was so good. I got it cooked medium and it was correct and it was big and juicy and you can tell the meat is not from a frozen patty. Whenever I'm in the mood for a good burger or margarita, I will be looking towards this place.

Sat at the bar and Kailey was nice to talk too. I ordered food to go. The mango margarita is very good and only $4. I got the fried chicken and gray- cooked perfect and stayed hot until I got to the hotel. The chicken was perfect and the gravy was spot on with a little sweetness to it. The mash potatoes I really enjoyed The shrimp was really good as well With a little spice.

Great steak and salad and service is always outstanding. Family members enjoyed the atmosphere

The hostess was extremely rude. I had my hands full and two people at the hostess stand saw me struggling didn't even bother to open door.

I come here a TON with my whole family. I came in last night for a burger and a watermelon margarita. The waitress was great and super attentive, the atmosphere is nice with good music and multiple TVs streaming different things to watch which is entertaining.

Food was good, service was great. Brian, our server was attentive, personable, and funny, but unfortunately a Spartan Always enjoy our visits to Bubba's.

We haven't had Bubba's in a couple years. So happy we tried them again. My husband's fish dinner was so good and I really enjoyed my shrimp & chicken tender meal. Portions were very generous. Wait time was a little long for our pickup order, but that was the only negative.

Omg. If you want to eat great food in a wonderful restaurant stop here! Our food was absolutely delicious and served by Seth who had an amazing attitude and truly made this a dining experience.

My husband and I decided to try this place out on a Friday afternoon. There was a decent crowd but we were seated right away. We had a great server named Grace. The vibe was great. Lots of tv's on the walls. Booths were comfortable. The menu has lots of options. We started with the garlic knots. Delicious. I had the po boy sandwich. The bun was really good and so was the filling. Really enjoyed it. My husband got fish and chips and also loved it. The Blue Moon was served in a frosty mug. Yummo!! We will definitely come back to try some other menu items. It looked like a lot of people were having pizza so would love to try that. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for a Sunday lunch/dinner with family. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and wings. I ordered an Italian salad and was highly disappointed. The first salad that was brought out, I thought they forgot to add any meat. Come to find out it was mixed in with the lettuce? I asked the waitress and she said "Seems like they put more lettuce on the top, do you want me to have them make another?" I said yes, please because for $13, I would expect more than half a pepperoni cut up, a sprinkle of Canadian bacon and a piece of salami. So I requested to have meat left on the top of the salad and not mixed in it. Welp, please see attached picture. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend getting a salad from here, but the wings and pizza were good.

Food is tasty and real good-delicious! Service was ok. Margarita I had ordered was not well done; the way i preferred. Manager Jeremy was called to the rescue did a triple crown margarita with black salt; It took me back to my hometown Texas. I appreciate that. I love effort and change; and Jeremy made the best of it tonight. Thank you. (i'm a food/drink critic)

What a giant waste of time and money. What burger bar does not know how to cook a cheese burger medium rare. First time they brought it to the table, it was RAW. Not rare, RAW. So, I sent it back. The manager came over to apologize, and ensure that she would personally supervise the cooking of the next burger. Which was all BS. About 20 minutes later the burger came out ultra well done, like burning leather. All this time the other three people in my party were done with their dinners. Do yourself a favor; if you want to eat at Bubba's 33 in The Colony, just drop a 10 pound dumbbell on your balls, and throw $50 out the window. The feeling is about the same. Will never ever ever return.

Bubba's 33 is a great spot for groups, family night, girls lunch, or dining alone! The menu is vast, the food is fresh, and the staff is friendly. It's always upbeat and inviting. There are so many different tasty cocktails to choose from. We always grab up a handful of appetizers before our meal. Bubba's 33 is known for their burgers & pizza- they nail both! The garlic knots are some of the best on earth. Be sure to order up a few of those, you will be glad you did!

The pizza wasn't hitting. I've had better. The wings were pretty good. Now I also ordered some spinach dip that was an appetizer and it came after my food. Then they took for ever to take it off my bill. The waitress was pretty good. But it was extremely cold in there. Felt like the winter

they have $4 margaritas in the menu yet charge $4.50 and expect you to believe it's tax. My sister adked for no mushrooms in her phili sandwich and it was served with mushrooms. we were finished eating by the time it took them to remakw her sub. Past few visits heve been disappointing. The server took a piture of my cousins free birthday appetizer email and then split the appetizer on all 3 of our checks. We all agreed not to go back there

Food great! Service awesome! Only negative is it's extremely loud but it's still an awesome place to take the family for a great meal!

We went 3-29-24. Our server Katie was a sweetheart. Serving us with positive vibes and energy. She's honest and efficient. Manager Pam came and introduced herself. I could tell she's proactive in the operations of the restaurant. This little eatery place can teach the bigger chains on how to greet and treat guests. I hope they never change. I hope it doesn't become one of those places that you say the service was great a year ago. My burger was delicious. Wife shrimp dinner was scrumptious. Blue moon was nice and cold. Thx Bubbas for all that you do.

SO GOOD!!! Fresh, made to order food. Loved the atmosphere, although it was a tad loud but that's due to how busy it was when we went. Our server was exceptional -- answered the many questions we through at her & gave us her honest opinion on each. She gave us a few suggestions, even if it wasn't one of the popular items, she was spot on and we enjoyed everything! We have returned several times since our initial stop and have only has one 'mishap' which a food choice.

Love it the onion rings are the best. The drinks are soiooooo good and the waitresses are very nice!!!!

Love the vibe of this place - and the food is very homey and well-seasoned! Great happy hour for drinking! I took my family here while they were in town from California and it was great. The only thing I would recommend is that this isn't a place for little kids. Seemed to be more like a young adult/teenage/adult place. Service was very attentive and quick. We will be coming back!!! :)

Best service i received in a while. Brian was a great waiter and was very accommodating and understanding. Was fun to talk to and my grandson had a blast with him however this was the only positive part of our visit. Pizza was awful, boneless wings and the pasta was horrible. I usually buy burgers which are tasty but the family decided to try something differently and we were wrong. 5 stars for past visits and their burgers but not for last night visit.

Bubba's 33 is an excellent choice for pizza, burgers, sandwiches, drinks, and even their (limited selection) main entrees. I've never been disappointed here. I've always found excellent service from the greeters, wait staff, and bartenders. I particularly like their espresso-encrusted ribeye. Their pizza is solid. Cold drinks & beers from the bar compliment the food. Be prepared, the wait can fluctuate, especially on the weekends, so plan ahead for a great visit.

I ordered fish & chips. The fish was mushy and I returned it! Our waitress was accommodating and took it off our bill. The rest of the meals were decent.

This place was a WIN in our book. Our family ordered cheeseburgers, shrimp appetizer and grilled cheese. Everything was very delicious and excellently prepared. We will be back!

I visited this chain restaurant with my parents and brother when I was in town and it has a really cool vibe. I loved all the old music videos playing on the screens. Their burgers were on special, so I ordered the Sunshine burger with tots. My parents and brother all ordered burgers too. Everything was cooked perfectly and was seasoned very well. We had excellent service too. I will definitely return when I'm back in Michigan.

I haven't been there but I love the name and the food lol good . My dogs name was bubba this is what they call big men in the south. Although the south is not a great place the name was always endearing to me.

My first time trying Bubba's Yelpers, the ambiance was Detroit to the TV's even the commercials had Barry sanders in them hahaha. The food was really good burger was tender and flavorful. I liked their fries and I really enjoyed their chili. Definitely a cool sports bar to go and relax with the boys or family.

Excellent food and service. Our party of 6 enjoyed every entree selected! The server kept coming to check on us despite having the restaurant packed!

I usually frequent Bubbas three to four times a month. Food is usually good but today it was terrible. At the waitress recommendation I tried the Stromboli it was very small and was $14.99. The chicken tender dinner which is usually good was very small portions also for $13.49. The manager came over to ask how everything was and explained to him the concerns. He laughed and said corporate decided to downsize all the portions of food. That was all. I don't know why they come around and ask how everything is when they could really care less. Needless to say after going there for years this will cease. I would like to thank Management for their concern and I will spread the word as a lot my friends will cease patronage also. Our waitress Salina was was very nice professional and prompt we never had to ask for anything she was there to serve us even through it was a full house she was prompt she was friendly and very professional my service here was awesome. The was hot and good the restaurant was clean I enjoyed my service and the food and the ambiance always a pleasure when I come here.

Food is fantastic, I've tried burgers, subs, pizza. Never been disappointed. Plenty of room for large families, and great workers

Their Shotgun Shrimp is to die for and their sweet potato fries with caramel sauce, OMG ! I have to try the Shotgun Poboy next time. The service was on point and on the ball. We never waited or lacked for anything. They know how to do it right. Great customer service and food !

Ordered several times from here as Carryout and always have a great experience: ordering online is very user friendly; order is always correct and ready when picked up. The menu has variety, lots of choices. Food is always hot, fresh ingredients.

I've never had a good experience here. Food was awful. Service always seemed overwhelmed to me.the inside looks great but not to big a deal.

Just picked up nachos and fried pickles from Bubba's. The lady on the phone told me 20-25 minutes but I got there early because I was on my way home from work. I texted their automated system and it said my food wasn't ready and to wait in my car. After 25 minutes I decided to go check on my food and at the same time a girl was walking toward the door with my food. I payed for it and went to my car. Everything would have been great considering they told me the wait time. However, I walked to my car and decided to eat a couple nachos since I'm starving and they're super cold. So I thought maybe they were waiting on the fried pickles-nope cold as well. So I was basically waiting in my car for my food to get cold and nachos to get soggy. Anyways dinner kind of sucks tonight.

Hands down A++ across the board! Went for lunch, but ended up adding the appetizer, so it was more like a dinner. Our server was Alyssa. 5 star service! The onion rings were absolutely delicious. Light super flavorful batter, not greasy. The "bubba sauce" (bbq & Mayo) was very good. Not sure what kind of bbq sauce used, but they picked a good one to mix. The fish and chips were also outstanding. I'm hoping the leftovers will reheat in the oven successfully. TVs all over the place and comfortable seating. Very busy yet the food and apps came out in appropriate timing! This is a sit-down meal, so it was more than a fast food place of course, but worth it! Can't wait to go back and try some more of the menu.

we've been to bubba's 33 a few times taylor location dined in had a great experience then we had a to go order horrible experience but we did come at 9 and they close at 10 so we decided to go back the next day it was perfect such a great experience the customer service from the manager jordan and servers faith and seth who was being trained was simply amazing we will definitely be back please don't hestitate to patronize this establishment you will not regret it

I went for the first time. The best onion rings I've ever had. The hamburger was delicious. They gave me a free appetizer for my next visit. I'm definitely going back!

The food was descent. Beer was cold. Variety of shows on the tvs. Definitely loud. The kitchen forgot to put half our food order in the oven. The manager resolved it quickly and gave us wings and the missing entree. Jessica was a great waitstaff and made sure we were ok throughout our evening. We would go back for another time if in the area.

Our waiter was the Best ever. His name was kahlani was Phenomenal spot on didn't have to ask twice! Come and meet him and the others it's good food good times! Thanks Kahlani
