Bubbie’s Plant Burgers & Breakfast

Three people in group, only two are vegan - I am not. I had the main burger and fries. All of us enjoyed the meals, one of us got a milk shakes and they could not stop talking about how delicious it was. I enjoyed the burger, again I am not a vegan so the 'bacon' was removed because it was not to my liking. Everything else was great - sweet potato fries are on point and the size was perfect. We decided to sit out at one of the tables, most the other customers got theirs to go. Parking garage across the street, beautiful spot to grab lunch - I highly recommend.

The Nashville hot chicken was mouthwatering hot. Soooo good. The sandwich was pretty big and filling, I could only eat half. The chicken was juicy, doused in buttery spices... Every ingredient was so tasty and it sandwich was well assembled. It didn't take long when you order using the kiosk. One lady working this evening but she was efficient and getting all the orders out. Too cold to sit outside, but I'm sure most of the seats will be taken when the weather turns nice.

I had a Nashville HOT Chick’! and Fried Chick’n Sammies! Oh my! They both hit the note, but the winner was Nashville Hot Chick’n. Service is good. Cute pink sustainable packaging. Price is great!! Highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love it! Having lived in Los Angeles with a variety of delicious vegan food options and moving to Virginia proved that this state is definitely not vegan friendly. The options for vegan eateries are slim, so I was over the moon to discover Bubbies. Such a great plant-based selection. I've now visited the restaurant/kiosk twice and we have all loved our selection. If you are in the area and want to try some delicious vegan food, Bubbies will not disappoint.

TLDR: Salsa almost made me vomit and fries tasted like plastic. I used to enjoy Bubbies in their DC location before they closed, so I was excited to try the new location. I arrived on time for my online order pick up (20 minutes after ordering) and had to wait for another 25 minutes with no one at the counter. Horrible service. I ordered the chips and salsa and looked nothing like the pictures but that’s fine. Upon taking my first bite, the salsa immediately triggered hiccups and a burp simultaneously almost causing me to vomit in my car and couldn’t breathe for a few seconds. I have a high spice tolerance, and it was easily the spiciest thing I’ve eaten in my life. Spicier than “da bomb” hot sauce as featured on hot ones and the one chip challenge, both of which I have tried. I didn’t even know spicy food could trigger hiccups. I have mild burns to the roof of my mouth, stomach pain, heart burn, and nausea. There’s no chance this is the recipe as it is intended and has to be an error. Even taking the cap off the salsa for the picture in the review made my eyes water and nostrils burn. I then tried a fry to help get the spice out of my mouth. Though I watched them make the fries to order and tried them less than 5 minutes after receiving them, they were somehow soggy and tasted like plastic which is quite impressive. I even ordered one of their “super hot” sandwiches and the salsa was 100x spicier. The sandwich was the only good thing I ordered. Just disappointed.

I recently had multiple terrible experiences with Bubbies. I have placed orders to later receive a text stating an item is unavailable, etc, AFTER being able to place an order for the specific item and the payment being deducted from my account. I received multiple orders with concerning health code violations; hair in food, wax paper in between sandwich and plastic shards. The response was they thoroughly checked the food. Clearly that isn't the case based on the photos I took. I simply asked for the order to be remade and that was an issue; the request was not honored. I brought these issues to the attention of management via email and text several times. They were dismissive and shortly after, unresponsive. The phone number provided to contact the restaurant staff directly does not work. I was also told my substitution requests may not be honored even after paying extra for the substitutions. To make matters worse, I was charged for a meal that was never delivered once and again for a meal that was cancelled per the staff after texting me that the items were unavailable. I am still waiting on a refund for the order that was never delivered. Despite multiple attempts to contact the restaurant for a refund, I have been completely ignored. This lack of customer service and blatant disregard for consumer rights is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to take heed to this review. It's clear that they prioritize profits over customer safety and satisfaction. Very unfortunate as my children and I wanted to support this establishment as we sometimes have enjoyed the food.

Amazing! Love this place and the many options in the menu. Breakfast is incredible. We had The Buzz last time we stopped by and highly recommend. Can’t wait to try more of their menu!

The pictures speak for themselves. I come home to find that they gave me a completely different order. On top of that, there’s no phone number to call to speak to someone. They weren’t even that busy when I got my order so I don’t understand how this mistake could have happened. Very disappointing experience.

Literally some of the best vegan street food I've ever had. The perfect burger had "bacon" atop that appeared and tasted like real bacon. The crispiness and taste of the chicken sandwhiches were also delightful. & the captain crunch milkshake was the perfect sweet treat. Note: this is an outdoor restaurant located within National landing/arlington water park area. Lovely to sit on nice sunny or fall days. Will definetly be returning to try the Nashville hot chicken sandwhich $

Stopped by to try their Black & Bleu Grilled Steak (made of mushroom protein) Sandwich. I enjoyed the flavor; the "meat" was savory and roasty, with a delightful creaminess from the cashew bleu cheese, and a nice crunch from the arugula and red onion. That being said, the portion was... simply puny. Both halves of the sandwich were about the size of my fist; I was out $16 and still hungry afterwards. I understand costs of operation these days, but there are plenty of vegan/vegetarian options within a 10 minute walk from the National Landing Water Park, most of them a much better value portions-wise.

OMG talk about a meal I can eat forever!!! Sadly this dish is not available on the website so I forgot what it was called. There were French fries, onion rings and pieces of chicken in there and of course it was DELICIOUS!!!

I have to say that this was the best plant burger I have ever had! I had the lil bub with gluten free bread and the sweet potato fries. They were so good! Definitely wear something warm because you eat your food outside or take it to go. I will for sure be coming back here again

My experience was amazing! From the location, chill vibes, service, tasty food, I couldn't ask for anything more. This is my second time, I was first introduced to the D.C. location and loved everything so I had to check out Crystal City. I ordered the Lil Bibb, I ate it way too fast to get a photo LOL ..I will say the only difference is the D.C. location allowed me to add plant based bacon but I still give this "burger" 10/10...oh and you have the option of getting their house made beet patty or an impossible patty, both times I had the impossible patty. Strawberry oat shake: 10/10, they actually muddled the fresh strawberries before making my shake, it was truly *chefs kiss Grilled steak fries: 10/10, I've never had mushrooms that tasted like they were "meat" seasoned perfectly and the perfect texture. These fries, along with my "burger" whew I'll definitely be back to try the onions rings and a few other menu options that called out to me.

The burger I ordered looked absolutely nothing like the picture, but I'm willing to bet the picture would've tasted better. It tasted a lot like warm paste. The onion rings tasted OK, but the coating crumbled off as soon as I bit into them. The majority of the staff that I spoke little to no English, which made asking questions and making an order difficult. The ambience, however, was outstanding! I got to sit next to the waterfall which really cooled the area down.

The food was so good! I got a "steak" sandwhich and a capn crunch milkshake which were both really delicious and yummy! I would 100p come back here!! the capn crunch milkshake was honestly the best milkshake i have rpobbaly ever had!! the service was good!! i loved how fast it was and everything came in the to-go bag in terms of utensils! the ambiance it was a little place that is honestly meant more for the summer warmer months because there is only outdoor seating! i wish there were more indoor seating options but we found seating options within amazon!

I think my impossible burger was pretty good! I think though, just to add some flavor, a smoked bbq sauce or garlic aioli would be really good on it. I also ordered the Parmesan garlic herb fries and they were disappointing because they didn't taste like anything. I'd order the burger again but probably wouldn't order the fries again, especially because they were $7.

The standout is the milkshake! I've never had a dairy free milkshake before, but I'd absolutely come back for the Captain Crunch and want to try the others. Above average shake for sure. The fried avocado was pretty good too, you get a good portion. Sauce was spicy. The "steak" salad was fine. The mushroom steak felt like a lower quality somewhat overcooked steak. The salad part was good. I'd have preferred Just a straight up mushroom salad probably. There was only 2 staff working on a busy Friday night so the service wasn't exactly quick, but they seemed to be doing their best

At first, I thought the food was pretty great before eating it. After several more bites, I felt pretty queasy. It seems that the meat wasn't very well cooked. The burger overall was pretty soft but had the right toppings. Service was pretty quick and ambience is nice because it was outside, I would suggest that they cook the burgers a little more so people don't get sick!

Bad all around. Please don't waste your money. I ordered a salad with spicy chicken. It was meant to include cashew blue-cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and spicy ranch. It was lettuce with a bunch of oil on it with some cold tofu on top. The fries weren't even cooked through. It was delivered an hour late! In addition to the terrible food, the phone number for the restaurant is invalid. (Ordered through Toast) As I was unable to communicate with the restaurant directly, I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This is unfortunate as the location in DuPont provided far better food and service.

This place is phenomenal. The veggie burgers are creatively crafted and give you that comfort food ooey gooey feeling. There is plenty of out door seating for you to enjoy your meal on a nice day.

Went to this place for the first time and the service was phenomenal. I have to admit I am not big on the plant style of food - but eating here definitely changed my perception of how good vegan food can be if made correctly. Additionally, I ordered the Chocolate Tahini milkshake - and after the order went through Mark personally came and found is in the area and apologized for the mishap and offered several different options for a solution. Great service and the waterfall creates a relaxing environment to add to the ambiance. ALSO! The Chic'n sandwich was great and these were probably the best fries my tastebuds have ever experienced, an explosion of flavor that can't beat

Avoid this place! I'm not sure what happened, but the food quality has really gone downhill. I went in today just for a milkshake, and the milkshake was basically just milk, like super watery. I only wanted a milkshake, and when I complained, they told me I had to email the manager for a refund instead of handling it on the spot. I just got something else because I wasn't about to go through all that, but I know for sure that will be the last time I go there.

Waited 20 minutes in 90 degree heat and they only started making our order once we asked about it. No other customers. Grilled cheese was $10, a kids menu portion, and borderline inedible.

The food is delicious and good sized portions. I ordered the Fried Chick 'n sandwich. My husband (who doesn't care for vegan food) tasted a bite, he said it was delicious. To me, it was one of the best vegan chicken sandwiches that I've had. Liked it so much went back the next day for another one.

We tried the PBJ Chick'N and the Single Bubb. Both were quite tasty but very messy- make sure you get extra napkins!! We liked the salt and pepper fries, too. There are many other interesting-sounding options so we will need to go back and try them. It is nice to have this vegan, kosher option in Arlington. If you are driving to come eat here, be aware that it is a kiosk at a park, so the only seating is outside. That also means that when the sun is shining, ordering can be a challenge because the computer screen is hard to see in bright light.

Food was great the onion rings was why I drove 50min away from Baltimore, the bacon Cheeseburger was great but should have tried the beet burger. The honey mustard chip sandwich was great as sietan. The parm fries were good also. Will definitely come back and try again

Excellent food and great range of unusual but great drink selections. Highly recommend the Nashville Spicy Chicken Sandwich with salt and pepper fries. Wow!! Food was out quickly as well.

waited 4 ever for fries and a soda standing in the heat. this should be an icecream store and properly staffed. the food was good but the soda too small and the fries were too much for 3 people.

Surpassed my expectations!!!! Truly delicious and unique, with great service. I loved being able to eat in the park, too! Had been following Bubbies for a while and finally made it out there for lunch. Burgers were amazing and so were the sides.

impossible burger was not cooked all the way my burger was pink, I even threw up in my toilet because of this, i wish I could attach pictures for everyone to view, i tried to reach out to the restaurant but there's no number online for them.
