Bubble Egg is such a great spot for bubble tea in Houston! The drinks are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the boba is consistently chewy and high quality. I love how many options they have, from classic milk teas to fun specialty drinks — there’s something for everyone. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy. The shop itself is clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to hang out or grab a drink to go. Definitely recommend checking out Bubble Egg if you’re a boba lover!

The owner is such a sweetheart and very kind and hard-working. This is my favorite place in Katy Asian Town. I always get the same thing, which is the spicy wings with extra Cajun mayo and brown sugar boba. I’m more of a savory person, and I really savor every last bite. It’s so good every time I come in she’s always so busy but never forgets her hospitality and is always smiling. Keep being the extraordinary you.

Clean place. Quick serve. The waffle is ok. I like the avocado drink. Price is upper number. 2 drinks and 1 waffle with ice cream $24. We will visit again

I love this place so much! Me and my cousin and sister have been coming 2023 and will forever come back, I also come with friends and the service here is AMAZING!! We love the owner she is so sweet and the wait isn’t long, we get great food it’s all delicious. 100000% recommend

This review is to warn others about my experience. It was my first time visiting, and we needed a little time to look over the menu. However, the cashier kept repeatedly asking if we were ready while we were still deciding. When my kids ordered ice cream, she quickly started listing toppings and asking which ones we wanted, making it seem like they were included with the ice cream. In reality, they were additional add-ons. She then asked what kind of drink they wanted, again making it sound like it came with the order, but it was actually a $3 extra charge. The whole interaction felt very rushed and pushy, and it seemed like the add-ons were being presented in a misleading way. ***Because of our experience, I will not be returning. I’m sharing this so other customers can be aware and double check what is included in their order.***

The waffle was warm and fresh, and it went perfectly with the ice cream. The flavors were super good,creamy, rich, and just right. Everything tasted amazing together

Wow this place was so good! I got the Go Bananas and it's some of the best ice cream I've had, the flavor was incredible and the staff was so nice. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Katy Asia Town!

Other than Gong Cha, bubble egg is my go too all the drinks are bomb and food is not bad. Owner is a sweet Lady. Awesome Place to stay for quick laptop work. Free WiFi Must purchase tho to stay.

After having dinner we walked over to Bubble Egg for dessert. I have seen this on social media so of course I wanted to try them out. Walking in it smells like a freshly made waffle cone. The staff are pretty friendly, but lack in helping understand how it all works. Once I looked at all the ice creams and additional items I was ready to order. I chose the original with Oreo, cookies and cream ice with fresh strawberries, and Nutella, The cone it self was really good and I am glad I added the fresh strawberries and Nutella. The ice cream was just that ice cream. My sister picked the cookie monster ice cream, but did not realize it was blue and was a bit disappointed until she actually tried the ice cream and it tasted like vanilla. My niece had a cup of the cotton candy ice cream and M&Ms, I will say her ice cream tasted just like cotton candy. I cannot say if I will go back or not because they are pretty expensive, but I did enjoy it all in all.

The service was good, I'll give them that BUT Thai tea is VERY hard to mess up, but our tea was missing the tea. It was mainly milk and watered down boba. There was hardly any flavor, even after asking it to be remade. Walked down the corridor to find an outside trashcan FILLED with drinks from here.

visiting bubble egg was the best decision I made when coming to America! I go to drink these cracking drinks at least 3 times a week I advise everyone to visit this cozy cafe with the most delicious bubble tea! p.s. my girlfriend's favorite choice is tropical fruit tea

Came for some bubble tea after we went to hmart. I got the Thai milk tea and my friend had the mangonada. Definitely liked the mangonada better. The milk tea was very so so. The tapioca in it was pretty hard I didn't really enjoy it.

I was craving dessert and this place really hit the spot. My boyfriend and I opted for green tea and Thai tea ice cream. I also added pistachio to the egg waffle for an extra crunch and the ensemble was delicious!

I went to Bubble Egg with a large group and our orders were handled professionally and fast despite the rush. Everything came out quickly and they still made sure to make adjustments if needed. The inside is large and can accommodate a lot of people. I would definitely come back here again. I liked my Thai tea with boba but it's a little less sweeter than the usual Thai tea you'd get anywhere else, I wasn't mad at that.

Loved this! Came here late at night and the food really hit the spot. I was ordering chicken tender and a bubble waffle separately but the lady taking my order told me it was cheaper to do the chicken tender/waffle combo plus it comes with fries. So I got that and it was delicious!

The service was splendid and absolutely perfect. The food was delectable and the atmosphere was cool and nice. Overall the experience was top tier.

Everything about this place - drinks, food, and customer service are all mid. Not really anything that stands out. Everything feels like it's lacking. Nothing was bad but nothing was great either. Since their bubble waffles are their main specialty, I was expecting a lot more. But this place just wasn't it. It wasn't a complete waste but definitely don't plan on coming back here.

It's been a few months since we've been to bubble egg but it never disappoints. We always get the Go Bananas with banana pudding ice cream and an iced Vietnamese coffee. So yummy!

They make the bubble waffles fresh ! Made to order which I love because it comes out hot and the ice cream starts to melt in it . I had the Cookie Monster which as you can see from the picture is super cute The service was average the guy answered my questions and made my food . It can be a bit slow since there's only one person working

Service is great, i got sum icecream. Lady working the counter is the best. she remembers my order and its never a long wait and the vibe is always calming and my favorite place to go with friends or by myself

OMG this place is amazing!! The decor inside is so cute and we love the little egg character haha We ordered the plain bubble waffle with thai tea and jasmine tea ice cream as the cashier recommended getting 2 scoops of ice cream. It came out to around $10-11, which I thought was pretty pricey but after how delicious it was, I thought it was worth it! First of all, the ice cream flavors are some of the best we have ever had!! The thai tea tasted exactly like drinking thai tea and was a little on the sweeter side for me but I would still recommend. The jasmine was light and delicious, tasting exactly like the tea! Both flavors were 10/10. But 2 scoops is definitely for sharing and I wouldn't have been able to finish it on my own. I LOVE bubble waffles and this is one of the best I have had. The waffles are DELICIOUS and remain crispy even after being in contact with the ice cream. Obviously, it is super aesthetic in the way they serve the waffle but I almost would prefer to have the ice cream and waffle separate haha but even like this the waffle remained crispy until the very bottom. Honestly, I'd come back just to get some plain bubble waffles!! The strawberries were sour so probably wouldnt get those again. Overall, the bubble waffle dessert was 10/10, and I'd definitely come back here again when I find myself in Katy!! I just wish they had another near Bellaire :(

Good spot for dessert and a tea! We went here after eating at Jia Kitchen and needed something sweet. My boys loved their bubble waffles with Oreo filling, whip cream and Nutella. I got a brown sugar Milk tea with boba and I really liked it. I definitely recommend shaking it up and stirring before taking a sip because it's super sweet! Next time I want to try the taro pudding milk tea.

I ordered and paid 5.75$ (Ube Pudding Milk Tea) then tips 15-20% I received 5.25$ (Ube Milk Tea) I questioned cashier to fix the order correctly. Cashier kept saying "I don't know" "Do you want to add pudding?" "it is old menu, we don't sell it anymore" but want to charge me 1$ to fix my drink as my order. If "we don't sell it anymore" because it is "old menu", why I can get the correct drink with extra 1$? I feel being scammed. I don't want to escalate the situation, if she can't fix the drink or refund, just says "sorry for ...". I am fine but she didn't.

Some of these recent reviews are questionable. We came here 15 mins prior to closing. I asked if it was too late but the staff was welcoming. We ordered a drink and a bubble waffle. The ube pudding drink was very tasty. Light ice, not too sugary, and boba was chewy not tough. It did not take long for the drink to be made. About 5 mins or less. Bubble waffle did not take 30 mins, more like 15 because there was a group of 3 in front of us. Staff was never rude, they were extremely nice even when people were just sitting there for a long time. Prices were fair. Place was very clean.

Pros: -Small place with a nice design -Feels like homestyle cooking -Can see the kitchen and the food cooked in front of you -Menu choices -Couch to sit on while waiting for food with connect 4 game. Cons -None

It was ok. I wouldn't return. Waffles were on. Ice cream was not homemade or anything exceptional. The flavor combos aren't the best but you can make your own.

the most mid waffle place ever. 15 dollars for one mid luke warm waffle. Nutella is stiff and old, had to scoop off onto a napkin. Leaky and messy waffle. I can see why other bubble waffle places r closed. staff was very nice though, hopefully they can recover and open a better waffle shop.

We ordered the Oreo bubble waffle with Thai tea ice cream. The waffles are made fresh to order, and the staff kindly explained the menu and what options were offered. The interior is cozy but can be quite empty. Although it may not be my personal first choice in dessert, I feel like it was well made and a hit for anyone with a sweet tooth.

We arrived in the middle of a rush for the business. It took 45 min for us to get 2 drinks(no modifications). During this time of waiting in a crowded and noisy restaurant I saw multiple people coming in after me and leaving with their drinks and waffles. When it finally arrived I had no interest in my drink and went straight back up to the counter to ask for a refund. The cashier was confused and pushed back but eventually dropped my money on the counter and walked away..... I understand rushes are frustrating and challenging for a team jf workers, but don't be emotional to your customers.

Best ice cream ever! The dessert was amazing! The service was also good The worker there worked very hard to make every dessert taste good.

Located in Katy Asiatown, this was my 9 year old's selection. His Build Your Own Bubble Waffle tasted good, but was pretty pricey (although this is the norm for items like this). My Cheese Foam Green Tea tasted okay but the foam itself was runnier than I am used to and immediately seeped into the rest of my drink without stirring. The space is cute and there is a giant Connect Four that we played. The service was very friendly and for a space that small, the sound inside was not overwhelming, which I found quite nice.

Their avocado smoothie is deliciously sweet and creamy and the egg pudding is wonderful!

What a fun little dessert concept. I love how you can create your own combos, and try samples of the different ice cream flavors. I decided on the Thai Tea ice cream with a Matcha Waffle base. The waffle had more of a mochi consistency (which I was surprised by), but I liked it. I didn't want anything too crazy as toppings, so I chose a condensed milk drizzle and it all went together pretty well. The place is clean, not too busy, and portions are generous, so it would be a cute place post dinner date!

After a nice dinner, we decided to get some treats and I knew I was some boba. We found this on a strip we walked and we decided to try it. It smells so sweet on the inside. I got the brown sugar bubble tea and it was yum. One of my friends ordered the waffle cones with strawberries and banana and it was delicious. It looks like is family owned and the owners were friendly and accommodating even though it was closing time. Great service.

Bubble Egg offers a variety of items on their menu. You can order either a savory or sweet bubble egg waffle, a bubble egg waffle with chicken, slushies, milk teas, coffee and more. This was my first time trying a bubble egg waffle. Think: fresh waffle cone served with ice cream, toppings, and a mix in the batter. Though there are already signature mixes on the menu, you also have the option to create your own. I decided on the latter and chose to make my own. I added pistachios to my waffle egg, with a green matcha tea ice cream to top it off. To describe it, the waffle egg is not crunchy, crispy, and hard like a cracker, but it's also not soft like a crepe.

Like the place , and vibe . Family friendly , the food is great and the service too . I will definitely come back to try more items from their menu .

The guy ringing me up should work as a telemarketer to sell extended car warranties. We just wanted a signature waffle. The guy asks me if I want to buy a combo with a drink. I just wondered if its for any drink. He said not for the ones I was interested in. I pointed out it says "any drink". Nevermind I just want the signature waffle. He now says since i am an adult, I'll get two scoops instead of one scoop of ice cream. So I picked a different flavor for the second scoop. Turns out hes trying to charge me for an extra scoop. When I asked about it, he said its required and while he was saying this, the guy making them pointed out that it is not. He then removed my first flavor choice which I will find out later. After this long and awkward interaction he checks up with me if Im sure I dont want to buy a bottle of water or anything else. I thought this guy must be joking but the soulless look on his face told me otherwise. I get my waffle ice cream. I take a few bites with my wife to notice it was the 2nd option of ice cream that he put in. I mentioned it to them and they said since we took a bite, we would have to purchase the original flavor that we asked for. Pretty unreasonable when this was only caused by our future car warranty salesman. Left a bad taste. Will not come here again and will tell anyone I care about to find a different place.

This is a fun spot to enjoy something sweet - their bubble waffles are perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, pillowy texture inside. The whole place smells great because of these waffle creations, which you can top with savory options (chicken) or sweet options (ice cream). We opted for the sweet route and ordered the pre-determined Mango on the Rocks combo which comes with mango pieces, a condensed milk drizzle, and fruity pebbles on your choice of ice cream based (we went for strawberry). All of this is then packaged in the cutest to-go box type container with a bubble waffle for one of the cutest dessert presentations ever...and, it is delicious, to boot!

Ice-crea waffle is delicious, service fast and friendly and place cool and comfy will cone again to enjoy ice cream and the ambiance.

Cute little place, nice selection of things to get. Made really cute. As a kid I always loved these little egg cakes. I remember having to get them in the street carts for a buck. Now using that, rolling it up and putting a scoop of ice cream in it really made it good. It is made fresh when you place the order so by the time I get it, it still nice and warm and with a nice scoop of ice cream it just made it super tasty. Would like to try some different things this place has to offer. Will need to come back. Overall it was very nice and something to try for sure!

This please is really good, I've been to the Bellaire one many times and was sad to hear they closed but then I found out that they had a Katy location. I wish the owners well and hope they know that this place will always have a special place in my heart! I love the location.

Bubble Egg seems to be out spot when ever we are craving something savory and sweet . We enjoyed it again and as always we were completely satisfied by the time we left . Still of our favorite places to go .

An amazing dessert concept. Place looks very fresh, super fun. Apparently this is the only location. We visited during week while passing thru Katy, TX on the way to San Antonio. It wasn't busy, so we got to enjoy fast service and direct view of our orders being made. Apart from looking unique, desserts are quite stylish and super photogenic. I would call it one of the most instagrammable desserts in Texas.

They were soo good! The waffle was very light and mixed with the ice cream plus toppings it was a perfect combo. The only thing was they charge you for each topping or filler to add to cone/ They have a "step by step " order process and FYI you don't have to pick a selection for each step. In total It was a total of $20 for two waffle cone with ice cream and toppings. IMO that was a bit too much for how mid sized they are. Will be back but will opt out of some toppings.

The soft waffle cone is the main attraction at this ice cream shop. To order, you choose your waffle filling, ice cream, and topping(s). I loved how chewy and warm the waffle was. It provided a delicious juxtaposition to the cold ice cream. Sadly, the ice cream in a cup does not come with a mini waffle cone. The ice cream itself wasn't anything special and tasted good, but more like something from a frozen food section. That being said, the toppings were fresh and balanced out the average tasting ice cream. I think this is a cute place, but if you value flavor over hype, I do not recommend coming here.

I got the strawberry and lychee slush and it was better than the one I've had from Zero Degrees. It wasn't overly sweet like Zero Degree's which I appreciated.

Just went here and 2 of us got our order quickly (we were all on the same ticket ) The 3rd order took 30 minutes. And it also was wrong. Good luck getting something here in a timely manner and correct . We asked about the ice cream twice and they had no excuse why the entire store was served before our third person got their order . This place is too expensive for them to not care. Their only concern was closing by 10 Awful customer service

Not sure about the mixed reviews of the service at this location.. However, I experienced incredible service! The employees here are diligent, fast, and unbelievably professional. This was my first experience, and I must say not my last. The employees were patient and even recommended me drinks that they like. Even while bringing out my drink order they had such a bright smile. I loved their fruit tea. It had such a tart and a subtle sweetness to it, with the crunch of the mango and strawberry pieces. The boba was textbook perfect, amazing chew and not hard unlike some locations I've been to. The location itself is clean and tidy. The decor does not look outdated, instead it looks so cute! Their little seating area near the front is such a great addition, and this location being next to an H-Mart makes it all the better. DEFINITELY recommend, I'll be coming back for sure!

A friend took us here for dessert since a group of friends and I were from out of town. Great bubble waffles! I also like to call them puffles (puffy waffles). Love how you can add thigs into the center of the waffle, which is unique for the puffles in my area. Bubble waffles itself aren't overly sweet. Add some ice cream for a more filling dessert. If you feeling savory, they have options as well! Will definitely come back when I'm back in town!

First time here, The service was fairly quick. We had the Bubble Oreo and it was sweet, and delicious. The mix comes as a delicious explosion in your mouth. Will come back!
