"Bubble Island is one of the most familiar cafés on the Ann Arbor bubble tea scene. Serving a reliable menu of typical bubble tea flavors, this boba shop on the bar-lined street of South University also offers a selection of fried munchies." - Steffi Cao

Fun no frills bubble drink shop! Prices are great and all the drinks and mochi were very flavorful. Staff was moving fast and working hard to keep the line moving and drinks flowing.

Really delicious tea. They do not have dairy free milk tea but they do have fusion tea options (jasmine green tea plain or with fruit flavors: passion fruit, strawberry, mango, peach, kiwi, green apple, pineapple, lychee, blueberry). Add ins include: boba, mango stars, lychee jellies, rainbow jellies, and pudding). If you can have milk I highly recommend some of their signature drinks. I personally love classic milk tea with boba or milk tea with pudding. They also have a coffee drink option. They also have calpico (Japanese yogurt based fruity drink) which is something adventurous to try. Some of the drinks are pretty sweet if you are sensitive to that you can maybe ask for it to be a little watered down.

I came here recently for my first bubble tea experience, and I really enjoyed it! The staff were very friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. I tried the Mooberry flavor which is strawberry based and it was great, I'd definitely recommend it. They also have a variety of other flavors as well as snack food items to enjoy. I will most definitely be back and may make this a must-go every time I'm in the area.

Bubble Island is a nice place to grab a cold beverage. I got the Green Turtle, which is off of their Signature Drinks menu. The Green Turtle has honeydew turtle tea with bubbles. Bubbles are Tapioca balls. The drinks is light and refreshing! Pleasant atmosphere with colorful seating and a couch corner with a coffee table. They also offer board games here, which can be super fun! In the winter, don't sit near the door, there is a terrible draft. I also like that the music is not too loud so you can talk or do work. Bubble Island is kept clean and well lit.

A friend recommended the place to us and we were not dissatisfied. I love the fact that there are so many options and the staff even suggested a really yummy oreo tea that I enjoyed! Although I did switch my delicious but a little overly sweet tea(the tropical one with mango) for it with my friend, only because hers tasted a little more tea-like. Either way we will be back next visit out that way! Thanks much from Flint!

AMAZING! my friend and I go their all the time. They have so many choices of tea that its hard to choose, but they never rush you. The only thing I dislike is that they got rid of their mango stars, which were what I got in my usual tea, but the rainbow jellies are a good substitute. This is my favorite place to get bubble tea. The atmosphere is really good too. Its almost like a cafe without a bunch of people on their laptops, you can tell that everyone is enjoying themselves.

They have excellent customer service and have always accommodated any special orders I've made. The combination of their $2 before 1pm and flock tag makes it difficult to go anywhere else in town. If you like bubble tea, or if you've never tried it, Bubble Island is the place to go!

I LOVE this place 💞💞 delicious boba teas and yummy fried fruits. Staff is always lovely to deal with. Only problem I've had was the first an only time I ordered popcorn chicken it was more breading than chicken. Maybe have been because it was the bottom of the bag. Still love this place though. An the order of french fries is huge! Enough to share for two and fill you up. Highly recommend this place to anyome if you've never visited. I've introduced 10 plus friends to this place an they've all loved it an continue to visit here frequently. I love you bubble island 😺💞😻
