"The Egg Puff Lady (or Egg Puffs, as the kiosk is also sometimes called) has posted hours, but sometimes she’s not there during those posted hours. Maybe don’t make this the main reason for a Chinatown visit, but if she’s there, definitely get some of these egg puff waffles, which are fluffy and sweet and the perfect way to cap any food crawl through Chinatown. Note: The Egg Puff Lady accepts cash only, and she’s located inside the tiny food hall that also includes Avana Sushi and Hot Eastern." - Terrence Doyle, Adam H. Callaghan

I got a matcha bubble waffle at the Bubble waffle lady. It's inside a food court. They only accept cash. It's affordable. The waffle tastes pretty good and she makes it quick. The service was great. You can't dine inside though, unless you're eating at one of the other restaurants in the food court. We just got take away and ate it while exploring China town.

Such a staple in the Chinatown community. Egg puffs are deliciously consistent and not overly sweet. I crave for these pastries every time I’m in time. They never disappoint!

I visited here as a tourist based on social media recommendations and while the bubble waffle was good, the establishment was “different”. The address doesn’t match and it was hard to find. She is in a small corner tucked away in the Food Court at 42 beach st., which is limited on space. There are no signs to guide you and no one understood in English when asking if we were at the correct place. Also accepts cash only.

I got the raisin waffle. It's not that special; it just tastes like a waffle, but I give this place 5 stars for the low prices and fast service. It was a good waffle though: soft and moist on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside. The raisins give a nice sweetness and bit of tartness, and it's very convenient to eat on the go. It's big, too, so it's definitely worth the price + convenience. Make sure to bring cash.

This is kind of a random spot to get bubble waffles, but they're pretty good! I got one with sesame, and it was $5. It had really good eggy taste, and I liked the texture of it. Apparently, this lady has been doing this for a long time (at least 15 years, or at least as long as one of the locals said they've been around town, which was about 15 years ago). So, pretty interesting. There's no English name to this place that I could see, so it's pretty funny to see this as the name on Google (unless that's actually the name). Overall, I do recommend this!

Hey, if you have a chance to stop by and try this egg puff. You’re not gonna regret it. This old lady reminds me of my grandmother. She is gonna take care of your egg puff carefully, make sure you will have the best egg puff with full of toppings. $4 or $5 for original, THAT’S GOOD DEAL. I always tips her, I hope she will get more customers and life could be easier 🙏🏻

Came around 3:45pm on a Saturday afternoon and was the third party in line. After placing our order for a matcha waffle and blueberry waffle, we didn't have to wait long. She makes them fresh, so the texture is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

A hidden gem. She is the sweetest old lady and makes the best bubble waffles: warm, fresh, and one at a time. I love that someone made this page for her but there’s a unique charm to finding her unassisted by Google or social media. A must-try in Chinatown!
