First and foremost if I could fully express the enriching, loving, and delicious environment this restaurant brings into words, you’d be here for the next 24 hours reading a magazine column stretched out across 100 newsletter pages. The location is questionable, but then aren’t all rare gems’ and magnificent establishments? What I would consider a whole in the wall in NMB this eatery will quench your hunger for Fish&Chips’. This isn’t your typical rodeo ride, this is the real deal.
The selection, Salmon preferred Fried with a side of fries (a HIT) takes you to to a realm of bewilderment as to how good each bite gets. My Mother and Father both ordered the COD fried, with sweet potato and Israeli salad, which also put them in amazement!
There was not a single consumable thing on the table that wasn’t devoured in under minutes. My father is a Fish&Chips kind of gentlemen so he is pretty finicky about how it’s made, with a nice golden crust, and a bite with spices engorging your taste buds till the end. This set a whole new bar and standard.
(Pause, if you think I’m exaggerating, read this before you eat, come back and read it again with a stomach full of the aforementioned. Thank me later.)
P.S the restaurant/eatery is run by a Husband and Wife, who have no waiters’. A more driven couple you won’t find, the Husband takes the orders, and partially cooks while the wife feeds the baby, and after she’s done, she jumps right in to helping out, whether cleaning the tables, waitering, or bringing out orders while the baby is asleep. They make it happen, even now when I’m writing this, the restaurant is at full capacity up until the family with the Rabbi with 5 daughters and wife walked out a few minutes ago. Give them a chance, give the food an opportunity, deviate from your route anywhere in Florida, and stop here.
