Bubby's Fish N' Chips

A great find! I have been craving fish & chips for a while but did not want the trouble of making my own. The fish was moist and delicious. I wish maybe a little crispier, but gluten-free food tends to burn quickly. This was not burned. It was delicious. The fries were perfect for me. Will go back when I make it back to Miami.

★☆☆☆☆ Bobby’s Fish & Chips – Extremely Disappointing Service Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. We walked in and the place was completely empty, which should’ve been the first red flag. A man handed us a menu without saying much—we thought he’d take our order, but instead he pointed us to a girl sitting down eating ice. Yes, just sitting there crunching ice, staring at us like we were interrupting her break. We hesitantly approached her, and she eventually got up to take our order… all while still chewing ice, barely acknowledging us, and acting like we were a bother. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The vibe was so off that we decided to leave—only to find out they charged us a service fee for a service we never received. Save yourself the time and frustration. There are way better places to eat with respectful, attentive staff. Bobby’s Fish & Chips? Never again.

OMG!!!!! Truly a lite and relaxed ambiance. The food is excellent: fresh, flavorful, and filling. The Cod just melts in your mouth and the "chips" (fries) are natural and lightly seasoned. An absolute great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner to chat, read a book or just chill.

We’ve been running a daily breakfast in our synagogue for close to 9 months now that probably serves more than 50 people a day. Bubbys Owner worked with us to provide a consistent delicious daily breakfast for almost 9 months now at a great price. Personally delivered, always smiling, adjusting as we request, and very often throws in “on the house” items like platters of lox, or a shakshuka etc. He even stops at the local bakery for us when we add danishes or pastries to the order - unheard of! I don’t think we would have been able to provide a consistent breakfast for our community like this without Bubbys at the cost and quantity that he provides for us. Thank you from the entire CSB community. 💝

Delicious fish. Generous portions including more than we could finish amazing hand cut French fries. Everyone there was so friendly and the service was excellent. The place was fresh and clean. Not huge, but ample seating for multiple groups at once.

We found Bubby’s fish N chips during our Passover trip in 2024, so when we can back to Miami this Passover we knew we had to make a stop at sometime. The day came we were in the area and decided to have an early dinner. My husband and I had our 7 month old baby along with our 2 toddlers. The owner and his team catered to our every need including providing avocado for our baby and the going the extra mile making mashed potatoes themselves when they saw I was mashing fries for him. Their fish selection is delicious, French fries are made from real potato’s and are perfect! We will be visiting again and I hope you do as well.

First and foremost if I could fully express the enriching, loving, and delicious environment this restaurant brings into words, you’d be here for the next 24 hours reading a magazine column stretched out across 100 newsletter pages. The location is questionable, but then aren’t all rare gems’ and magnificent establishments? What I would consider a whole in the wall in NMB this eatery will quench your hunger for Fish&Chips’. This isn’t your typical rodeo ride, this is the real deal. The selection, Salmon preferred Fried with a side of fries (a HIT) takes you to to a realm of bewilderment as to how good each bite gets. My Mother and Father both ordered the COD fried, with sweet potato and Israeli salad, which also put them in amazement! There was not a single consumable thing on the table that wasn’t devoured in under minutes. My father is a Fish&Chips kind of gentlemen so he is pretty finicky about how it’s made, with a nice golden crust, and a bite with spices engorging your taste buds till the end. This set a whole new bar and standard. (Pause, if you think I’m exaggerating, read this before you eat, come back and read it again with a stomach full of the aforementioned. Thank me later.) P.S the restaurant/eatery is run by a Husband and Wife, who have no waiters’. A more driven couple you won’t find, the Husband takes the orders, and partially cooks while the wife feeds the baby, and after she’s done, she jumps right in to helping out, whether cleaning the tables, waitering, or bringing out orders while the baby is asleep. They make it happen, even now when I’m writing this, the restaurant is at full capacity up until the family with the Rabbi with 5 daughters and wife walked out a few minutes ago. Give them a chance, give the food an opportunity, deviate from your route anywhere in Florida, and stop here.

Every experience I’ve had here has been lacklustre but today was beyond. Expect no one at the counter to take your order. Expect the person to take your order to speak zero English (even Spanish would’ve worked but nope not Spanish, creole? I guess). Expect the food to be undercooked. I sent eggs back two times. Sunny side up eggs were raw two times. I’ve never had that happen. Ever. Then to add insult to injury, my plain side of three eggs was 16.99. I don’t get it. I know there is inflation but that comes out to 5.60 an egg. I thought it was a mistake!! But the manager confirmed. Nothing they can do. The fish which is supposed to be their staple was also tasteless. What a waste. Really. I guess they make all their business in bulk bagel orders and have neglected their dine ins? Or are we just so used to terrible service at high prices? **** I’m editing to this post because someone from the restaurant below responded below 2 lies. 1. I asked several times for sides and not the entire meal and no one bothered to say otherwise 2. Didn’t pay? Are you joking? Here are screenshots of my $50+ meal and my $18 sides of eggs. Unbelievable.

I had the "fish" and chips The portion of fish was cooked in dirty oil and was laughable not even snack size but it did come on a bed of two lbs of greasy fries. Hey clown I ordered by delivery, you heard of it? When you make a consistent good product then maybe you'll get a positive review. And stop making excuses.

I went here a few weeks ago when visiting from out of town. My son and I ordered the salmon fish and chips, and vegetable soup. The food was delicious! The salmon was well seasoned and the vegetable soup was outstanding.

Had the halibut with salad and a baked potato. The fish was great! The service is ok. Inside looks newly renovated and clean.

I was so look looking forward to eating here, boy was I disappointed. Putting aside the poor quality of the food preparation, they do not know how to prepare fish for fish and chips the sauces were something else. What fish and chips shop does not know how to make tarter sauce. The runny concoction they called tarter sauce was, (I don't know) but was definetly not tarter sauce. Fish and chips will never be the same you ruined it for me.

Amazing service and food was super fresh! Very friendly staff, would definitely come back for some fish tacos!

Just can't saw anything really good about the fish and chips, it's the only thing I have tried, went traditional Cod. And both where soggy, greasy, smelly. I got it Togo and ate it in my car, big mistake, my car stunk for 2 weeks after. Fish was past its prime, chips were soggy, doubt I'll be back to see if anything on the menu worth it but that's my experience.

A hole-in-the-wall spot for Fish & Chips in South Florida. The owner goes out of his way to get fresh fish, never cuts corners with frozen fish. I had the Halibut w/ sweet potato fries, and it was amazing! 5/5

My coworker and I accidentally stumbled into this hidden gem. I order the grill Salmon and chips ( sweet potatoes fries) with salad, the Salmon was perfectly seasoned sweet potatoes fries were delicious just everything was chef kiss. I highly recommend this place it won't disappoint you.

The takeout was delicious and better than expected. I ordered their popular fish wrap and fries. I picked fried cod as my choice in fish and they add their coleslaw which is very tasty. I'm not even a fan of coleslaw and liked it a lot. The wrap is an excellent portion and for dessert got the fried Oreos. They we're definitely a nice way to end my meal. I will definitely order for this place again and recommend it to anyone.

Since being required to stay gluten free I had not had any decent fish and chips. That changed this evening at Bubby's. The fried fish was amazing and came with a large side of fries and a salad. Was with someone who was not worried about gluten and he agreed. I ordered the cod - it was soft and flaky and crunchy... Strongly recommend.

Find another place to eat. Food was lousy! We ordered what they claim to be their specialty...fish and chips. We ordered cod. Fish had a Jamaican flavoring we didn't care for. Any frozen fish is better than this. We were very disappointed and threw most of it out. $32.08 wasted!

I love this place. I always get some version of the fish and chips (the salmon is my fave). It's just good "whole" food. The fish is always fresh, they serve a side salad, and hand cut homemade fries. And the prices are really good

For Administrative Professionals day today, the Director where I work wanted to treat me to lunch. I ordered the cod fish 'n chips! Food was delivered very fast. It was hot and fresh. This restaurant is always great. Highly recommend

This business is horrible... It looks nice and clean on the outside, but the food... In particular, the cod and fish and chips was less than satisfying... It's basically dipped in cornmeal and fried in old grease...very small portion. Honestly, the coleslaw was the best part of the meal. The fries were really greasy.Plus the "manager" a petite Latina woman was extremely unprofessional, appeared to act hyper and erratic when told The food was sub par. I've tried fish and chips at many places this by far was one of the worst in my opinion. And I'll pay top dollar... But not for this

Food was excellent with good portions...we had fried cod and it was the tastiest fish ever...my wife had a tuna whole wheat wrap and the tuna was fresh and all fries were hand cut right in front of us!!!...the young lady behind the counter was working alone and was great and smiley!!!...I recommend and even ordered some fish for home too!!!...

Went for early dinner. The place is clean and the bathrooms are clean. This is a kosher dairy place. I was with my family. We ordered an individual pizza which was good and homemade. We also ordered 3 cod fish and chips. We had our choice of several types of fish, fries and a side salad. Note: the cole slaw was delicious. On to the fish; portion of fish was small,with a large portion of french fries. The spicy fries are way to spicy and all in all not plated well. The kids liked the fried oreos for dessert.

Had a omlit wasn't so good. Not so excited over this place. Coffee wasn't good. Will be a last choice spot to go to.

I was in fl for a month and wanted some good fish, stoped by and ended up eating there 3x last time we had the pizza was amazing! my new spot in miami when i come to visit
