Bubby's Snoballs

The prices are posted on the menu, but they failed to change it before a customer saw it and refused to honor the price. Also, they forgot to update the price on the menu on Google.

Great option for a hot day in Lakeview! My daughter had a rainbow snowball because she wanted to try all the flavors. I go for nectar cream and normally a sour flavor mixed together. While Bubby’s isn’t my favorite in the city, it’s a great option if you in Lakeview!

My favorite snoball stand ever!! So many flavor options that are all delicious, cute atmosphere, a line that always moves fast, and always friendly workers!! 10/10

Tried Bubbys today. Not sure if it's low quality syrup, or they were running low on that particular flavor and added water to it. I ordered blackberry w/ condensed milk. There was hardly any color or flavor, just light pink sugar water. I'd rather them just tell me they're out of that flavor so I can order something else, than serve me something like that.

SNOWBALLS ARE ROCK HARD, i let it all melt before I could even attempt to eat it. NO JUICE.. customer service was a 1/10, heavy set lady came to the window “ what you getting? “… after giving back the change, my bf told her keep it she didn’t say thanks or anything, just put it in the bucket.. RUDE!! when she gave him the snowball it was with no napkins, & the straws are coffee straws so barely can suck anything out of it.. There’s hardly any juice in the snowballs.. She also gave him the nachos, NO NAPKINS.. with like 10 chips??? how are these people even in business lol? it must be a joke…..

Lakeview has a newish snoball shop, thankfully. Unfortunately, doesn't seem to be as good as some of the better known shops that have been doing this a while. The flavor I ordered was "clear spearmint"; not sure why the clear flavors cost more but I was hoping it was because they are stronger. Unfortunately, the snoball that resulted was unevenly flavored. I tasted a decent bit of flavor on the bottom with my straw, but most of the top and center had little spearmint and were mostly ice. Ideally, these things are made by layering in the flavor generously as the cup is gradually filled with ice and pouring some extra on top. One of the advantages of syrups that aren't clear is you can see where the flavor went; not so in this case. They make flavored snow, and if I'm going to pay for that, I expect it to be done right. What else can I rate them on?

Was just trying to enjoy a nice snow cone and definitely did not expect it to be served with a side of discrimination. The people were HIGHLY disrespectful and the ice was hard, the icecream was not good and worker was unable to count despite using a calculator for help.

Good stuff! I didn't order anything but the kids loved their soft serve. Wifey had the SF coconut.

More flavor snowballs than other spots. I really like the stuffed snowballs get a little extra soft serve topping on them. This was the only snoball place open on a holiday too. Cash only. You'll see the colorful building on the side of the gas station. Would def come back here.

Their snoballs lack flavor. Our snoballs were mostly ice, especially in the middle of the snoball.This stand also has fewer options than most snoballs stands.

Their snowball ice is so smooth. There is never a line or huge wait. The different snowball flavors are delicious. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

As the spouse of a snowball fanatic, I often find myself frequenting snowball stands all across the metro area. I've only been to Bubby's a few times and every time I've gone, it was to get the wifey a snowball. However, that doesn't mean I didn't take a giant scoop. (All for the benefit of Yelping about it). If you live on the Westside of Harrison between Old Hammond Highway & Veterans Blvd, this is actually a convenient location. Located at the corner of Harrison & Fleur De Lis in the corner of Fleur De Lis Car Care's parking lot, this small stand actually serves up a decent snowball. I had (eh....sampled) a chocolate snowball with condensed milk and it was A-ok, for lack of a better phrase. The ice was pretty smooth, but not velvety and the chocolate was sweet but not to the point of being overbearing. The best thing about this place is that there never seems to be a really long line. The do a steady business and you can get a good snowball in 5 minutes or less.

These guys are on my way to church so I get a lot of snowballs here. Staff is friendly and will remember you. They have a small parking lot out front so you don't have to worry about street parking. (Don't park over by the gas station though!) Prices are easy on the wallet. Ice is smooth and the flavors are pretty good. They offer a few sugar free flavors and several cream flavors. They will customise the juicyness so don't be afraid to ask. They are open to experimentation. My personal favorite frankensnowball from here is creamy chocolate and almond mixed which totally tastes like snickers in a cup! Mommy notes: Gives plenty of napkins, outdoor picnic table for seating, clear flavors available and will put snowballs into larger cups.

Very quiet but polite young lady working the stand. The snowballs (three of us) all tasted watered down. Would not go back.

I had a large snoball with Chocolate cream syrup and condensed milk. It taste really good. I could have used more syrup and a wider straw tho.

Let me just tell you, as a snowball fanatic.... This place has good snowballs! The ice is smooth and the flavors are good. The prices are also friendly on your wallet. No, it's not the best snowball ever but if your in the area and looking for a cool down, it's worth the visit!

I always judge a snowball stand by how they do their chocolate snowballs. When I got it from Bubbys, it was seriously lacking syrup. It was more of a lightly flavored chocolate ice. It was the first chocolate snowball I didn't finish. I will give them another shot maybe they had an off night.

Totally love this snowball stand. Great amount of syrup, as well as condensed milk if added. Fine AF ice. Really no complaints! Only doing 4/5 stars because it's not a STOP-EVERYTHING-THIS-IS-THE-BEST-SNOWBALL-EVER kind of place, but really a great, solid spot!

I got soft-serve here, so maybe that was my mistake. It was very icy and didn't have much flavor at all (I got swirl in a waffle cone). Even the waffle cone was kinda meh. The snoballs my companions got seemed decent enough.

This place was awesome. There are a ton of different sizes starting $1.00-$3.50 for plain snowballs. Then you can add more toppings and combinations. I stayed right around the block and frequented it often. I got the tropical punch flavor and it was yummy. You won't be disappointed with this place.
