San Diego’s Best Chicken Wings | Eater San Diego

"The Petco Park-adjacent sports bar is a hub for game-watching and offers grilled chicken wings in a multitude of flavors, from dry-rubbed bourbon brown sugar wings to sweet-and-savory combinations like Korean barbecue and Thai peanut sauce. More fiery options include the honey habanero, as tongue-searing as it is sweet. Diners can expect holiday lights dripping from the ceilings and all the wood-laden markings of a traditional pub." - Eater Staff

Where to Eat Near Petco Park | Eater San Diego

"Bub’s is essentially a big ol’ honky tonk and proud of it. Head in for their Ballpark Tots with sliced hot dogs, chili, cheese and grilled onions and the Schm’animal Style burger (an homage to a certain popular burger chain) with “secret sauce” aka Thousand Island dressing, caramelized bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. For drinks, there are plenty of craft brews." - darlene-horn

Google
Staying in downtown San Diego and I went to Bubs primarily for their Wing Wednesday deal! The deal was 50% off wings. Got here at 3:30 pm, it was not busy and could easily find a table or place to sit. I ended up ordering an Firestone Walker 805 beer. For wings I ordered 5 Garlic Parmesan and 5 Lemon Pepper. The Lemon Pepper was super super good, amazing rub and flavor. The Garlic Parmesan was ok, great amount of garlic, lots of butter but not too much Parmesan. Both were solid but I definitely liked the Lemon Pepper. It also came with Ranch on the side which was nice. Overall solid place and I know it is a fan favorite before and after the Padres games.

Google
Great place to watch sports games. Waitress was very welcoming, providing what's the favorites. We got the wings for appetizers grilled with sauce on the side. They were very good and a nice size. The main course were burgers cooked to your liking. We also got drinks which were very delicious. Definitely try this out for a good sports bar with outside seating as well

I loved my fish and chips but everyone in my party loved their meal. Mac and cheese was amazing. I tried my grandson’s. Love it here.

"Bubs at the Ballpark is an awesome spot to hang out! I just ordered takeout and loved the cool, lively vibe. The fish and chips looked amazing! Highly recommend! Plus, they have a fun touch with a portrait of Cosmo Kramer - that’s a nice nod to Seinfeld fans!"

Google
Absolutely—here’s a more expanded and lively version of your review: --- At first glance, **Bub's** might not look like much—just another rowdy sports bar tucked into the heart of the Gaslamp, clearly positioned to catch the pre- and post-game crowds from the nearby ballpark. But don’t let the casual, no-frills exterior fool you—this place has two absolute aces up its sleeve: the **grilled wings** and the **queso dip**. Seriously, these wings are next-level. Perfectly charred, packed with flavor, and unlike anything I’ve had at any other sports bar, let alone one that caters to stadium traffic. And the queso? Rich, creamy, and so addictive you’ll be ordering another round before you finish the first. It’s the kind of comfort food that somehow manages to feel both elevated and entirely unpretentious. Drink-wise, Bub's leans into its identity as a high-energy hangout. You're not getting mixology theatrics here—and that's totally fine. Their **local beer selection** is solid, and the **giant margaritas** are a whole experience in themselves (think: fun, boozy, and built for a good time). Most mixed drinks cater to volume over nuance, so I usually stick with a beer or go big with the margarita when the mood hits. While it’s not a craft cocktail haven, Bub’s more than makes up for it with its laid-back vibe, crave-worthy bar food, and unbeatable location. If you’re looking for a fun, casual spot to grab a bite before a game or just hang out with friends, Bub's might just be one of the **best-kept secrets in the Gaslamp**.

Google
I come here solely for their grilled saucey wings! They’re big and flavorful. Service is a little slow sometimes but the food comes out fast! My go to wing spot right now!

Google
Great experience great atmosphere ! The server was great as well very professional ! The food was warm and good! At a good temperature ! The mixed drinks were awesome 👏🏽 great job bartender !

Yelp
Bubs is a a great spot for beers, pub food and sports. So me and my wife love coming here on our visit to San Diego because of the garbage wings. It's a mixture of three house sauces and it's amazingly delicious. You can't go wrong with their tots as we got the animal style tots and with just about every beer you can add on a shot for 5 bucks. Our host was Ally and she was rocking it !!! She had a lot of tables to cover but made sure we were good. Our food came out in good timing and honestly it's very rare I love grilled wings but they have it down, The environment is very busy and sit where ever you want but the vibe is fun and colorful.

Yelp
A pretty typical bar or gastropub. Our server was friendly and great with accommodations. They were really aware and thoughtful about allergies and cooking things together! I got the kale salad with steak and a side of chimichurri sauce because I'm a sucker for chimichurri steak!! The steak was ok, the salad was decent but not anything to really write home about. I wish there were some more fruit pieces. It was odd that the various salads in our party came in all kinds of dishes and bowls. A friend tried the Archie sandwich and said it was good! Messy but good. Also if you're into tots they can sub fries for tots no problem! If you're coming for a padres game, it's a super close spot for drinks and a bite!

Yelp
Great place to watch sports and have some good classic fried foods with their own little spin on some old classics... Atmosphere was great ambiance was good, and our bar tender was nice friendly and made great suggestions for drinks. Highly recommend and will definitely revisit when in town

Yelp
We have all been to Bubs before and we know it is not the most pure "family establishment " it's usually filled with a bunch of college children getting drunk before the baseball game. I decided to go here on a Friday night before going out. Before I even got up to the door I was profiled and told this is a "family establishment "and my outfit was not family appropriate. I thought this was completely inappropriate as my money is just as good as the next bro that is sitting there with the backwards, hat and ripped off t shirt. I need the manager to contact me back regarding this. I specifically went to this location because I was excited to be at a casual Bubs. Everything about this interaction was inappropriate. Picture of my outfit for reference.

Yelp
A great spot to go before or after Padres games. Busy crowd. They have really good wings. Service has been great sometimes and mid other times.

Yelp
It's a coin flip on if this place is going to be a disappointing 3 stars, or a super strong 4 star place. I'll give it 3 stars because of the unpredictability. That being said, it's a personal fav of mine to get here super early before a local event at Petco park. And when I say super early, I mean hours before. Why? Because daydrinking should be happening anyways (please drink responsibly). Secondly, because it gets packed fairly quickly. As all places in Downtown, it's impossible to find any parking. But the trolly is only a few blocks down. I prefer the patio than inside. I find inside to be a bit too dark, gets hot quickly with the amount of bodies inside, and its impossible to manuever when it's packed. There's a ton of seating inside but it's pushed together to get the most amount of people here. When it gets to half capacity, I feel like the service dips. It takes quite a while to get any drinks and food ordered and delivered. So keep that in mind / another reason to get there early. The patio as at least spacious and you get that fresh breeze. There's a handful of TVs you can look at when you're outside depending on where you sit. There's some seats where you'll have to strain your neck to see. Their menu is pretty huge. A ton of different drinks options plus your typical bar with all the alcohol. The food menu is what you can expect - salads, wings, chicken tenders etc. Nothing too spectacular with the food. Atmosphere and geting together with friends are the selling points here. The place clears out right before first pitch, so if you're looking to get gameday deals but not go to the game, this is a great place to come right around then. On the days I come here when there wasn't any games, it was just about a quarter to 1/2 packed. It's a decent place to come to on non game days. Closes at 11pm on weekdays and 12am on Friday and Saturday. Don't forget to check out their Trivia night on Tuesday nights.

Yelp
Been to Bub's many times. Never got to review it. Respect to Adam and this hardworking staff! Loved to grub and the beer!

Yelp
If you are going to a Padres game, then you have to stop by Bub's before the game (and/or after if it's an afternoon game!). Located steps away from the ballpark this place offers great food, reasonably priced drinks and efficient service. It does get packed before games, so be prepared! During games, it always seems like the restaurant is well staffed. Definitely runs like a well oiled machine during the crazy busy times. The tater tot prices are a little steep, but you are going to a baseball game after all, so you kind of expect it. Drinks were reasonably priced. Service was great considering how busy the place was. Definitely a spot to check out! PROS: * padres bar * plenty of tv's * inside and outside seating * great service * great spot to go before a padres game CONS: * typical downtown parking situation, so plan accordingly if you do drive and need to park * gets crazy busy, sometimes you can't even get in because it is so packed before games
google avatar

Kay M.

Yelp
Is this part of Petco? Im not sure but the gameday vibes sure make you feel like it! Decent TV's, decent bar food choices that taste good albeit pretty pricey $8.50 pints and the food at least a $22 for anything that you can consider a meal. I could see myself returning for the proximity to Petco, the bartenders were decent I dont really have a complaint about Bub's. Go Padres!
google avatar

Heather T.

Yelp
First time, stopped off before the game with some friends, atmosphere is complete bar scene. Which is fine. However we had dinner and the menu is just glorified food they sell at the ballpark. There is a bouncer checking ID'S at the door, really think that's not necessary when your walking in with an 80 year old grandpa. Over kill or power trip. Servers are nice. Food is mainly junk food. Many other restaurants to go to prior to game day. Won't be back. 3 stars for servers otherwise it would be 1 star.
google avatar

Jerry P.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. Amazing food. Good beer. Plenty of TV's to watch the Chargers lose on Sunday.. what more could you want? Went here with four friends. Thought for sure we wouldn't find a table but we got lucky right away. Ordered drinks & food. Our waitress was amazing, very sweet, great attitude, excellent sense of humor. The food was terrific. The pretzel was delicious, piping hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the grilled wings. Moist. Juicy Tasty. So good!! Not much more Incan say, the spot was an excellent choice to eat and enjoy a beer or three

Yelp
Great sports bar located near Petco Park. My friends and I went after a Padres game. Our IDs were swiftly checked and we were welcomed inside. The seating is all open so it's on you to find a table. After a few walks around we were able to snag one that had just been vacated. This part was a little awkward because you sit with someone's dirty plates and cups, but a server came over very quickly to clear it and greet us. The menu is expansive of your standard bar food. They are mostly known for their wings & burgers which were both very good. Drinks were decently cheap and the food came out quickly despite how busy it was. The post game vibes were great and I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and hungry after the game!

Yelp
Disappointment disappointment disappointment! The service, or lack there of. We changed seats 3 times to try to get service. When someone FINALLY asked for our drink orders, they told me they don't have Irish Coffees, because they don't have coffee. A bar that doesn't have coffee?! Seriously?! Bad form!!
google avatar

Elizabeth A. H.

Yelp
The staff here was super friendly and helpful. They had 31 beers on tap and a full bar. It gets really crowded on game nights. There are healthy options on the menu. We had the cali-flower wings and one of the tots specialties and both were wonderful. Our table was by a window looking out to the patio area.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
We decided to hit this spot after watching the UFC fights. The atmosphere was a lot more upbeat and the wings were more appetizing to our friends. A very vibrant spot each and every time we visit. Thank you to the server who entertained our shenanigans and became the tie breaker in a spirited discussion.

Yelp
Monday evening, I was joining my brother-in-law and nephew to watch our first San Diego Padres baseball game of the 2024 MLB season. Since I was coming straight from work, I coordinated with my family to meet up for dinner before the game. We wanted to dine somewhere close to Petco Park and decided on Bub's at the Ballpark, which is literally a few steps away from one of the entrances to the ballpark. I wanted to fill my tummy, so that I didn't have to buy the expensive stadium food. I was blessed to chow down on Bub's version of a Philly cheesesteak, which was one of tastiest Philly's I've had. Bub's is located next to Petco Park just minutes away. It is specifically located in Downtown San Diego on J Street and Seventh Avenue. The restaurant is across from the tall Sempra building and what looks like a new business called Arcade Monsters. The most convenient parking would the 6th and K Parkade structure. Before entering the restaurant, you will be asked to present your ID to ensure you're legal to drink. Bub's is a large sports bar that has plenty of seating, a plethora of televisions showing all types of sports, there are flags of our local sports teams, and a basketball hoop surrounded by a cage. I love that they surround the exterior of the restaurant with flags and there are symbols of patriotism inside as well. I forgot to get the name of our attentive female waitress, but she provided us with impeccable customer service and we were sitting inside the cage next to the basketball hoop. When I was trying to decide with my brother on where we were going to eat, I was thinking of Mexican food and we considered a pizza joint, but we both decided on Bub's. It was a great choice not only because of its proximity to Petco and the noteworthy customer service, but it was memorable for the amazingly delicious entree I engulfed. While perusing the diverse menu, I thought I was going to order a burger, but after talking to my nephew who had visited Bub's, I decided to order The Pittsburgh Steak because my nephew said he really enjoyed it. The Pittsburgh Steak comes with thinly sliced steak, chipotle aioli, encased inside a soft bread roll, and make sure to get it "All the Way". It comes with your choice of seasoned fries or tots. I was blown away by how tasty and yummy that sandwich was. The generous amount of steak was seasoned to perfection and tender; the melted cheese and finger licking aioli was a great combination; the sautéed mushrooms, onions, and peppers added balance to the richness of the protein and cheese; and that bread was just the perfect vessel for what was one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've eaten here in San Diego. Make sure to order the tots instead of the fries because Bub's is known for their tots and you won't be disappointed. I was blessed spending quality time with my family enjoying our first Padres game of the season. What was the proverbial icing on the cake was the memorable dinner I had at Bub's at the Ballpark especially their Pittsburgh Steak.

Yelp
While we were not in town for a Padres game, we had an excellent time at Bub's. Matt was our bartender and was attentive and happy to change the station on the TV nearest to us as NCAA Football games became more, or less, exciting. There is a great vibe at this establishment. Love the decor, the local craft beers and the GRILLED wings. We opted for Alabama White and Orange Blossom which were both delicious . Loved the bathroom stalls in the Women's' RR. Will def return when we're down this way again

Yelp
The Buffalo tots get those! They are delicious! The modelo was delicious our waitress was kind. It's very loud in there but then again it's a bar. So if you like bar vibes it's good! I'd come tomorrow after the Mets spank that booty!
google avatar

Luis A.

Yelp
Hey, Bub! This place is conveniently located close to Petco Park. The ambient is thrivy! Came on a Sunday afternoon and place was moderately busy. They have QR codes on the tables to check out the drinks and food menu items. There are a lot of options and they have a wide variety of beer. Staff was pretty friendly upon us entering and food arrived in a timely manner. I got the Animal Burger with crinkle cut fries. It was pretty good! My table also got mac and cheese, chicken tenders w fries, and animal tater tots. I'd have to say, their animal style is much better than In N Out's. I got an Arnold Palmer tea which was served on a very large cup which I liked. I'd give this place a 4 star but I had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was very nice. +1 star. Great job Bub's. Keep up the good work!
google avatar

Star B.

Yelp
The Chicken tenders with fries are mouth watering! We love to get the tater tots in place of the regular fries. This is our go to order every single time it's the best basket of tenders I have ever ate. The sauces are delicious, I think one is called the California or Carolina sauce (not sure). Inside is fun, fun, fun! Going to a Padres game and then coming here after, highly recommend. All the seating is great with plenty of TVs! The servers are fast and friendly.
google avatar

Samantha H.

Yelp
Great spot to go before the game. The wings were unreal - we had the signature and lemon pepper wings. We also had the beer and a shot deal as a game day special. We were bummed we had to leave for the game, as it seems they do trivia on Tuesdays as well. Will go next week though!
google avatar

Nick S.

Yelp
Good place to watch a padres game and have a beer but the dog thing is a little much !! Who wants to enjoy food/drink with dogs begging at your table. Can we stop allowing animals into restaurants.
google avatar

deangelo w.

Yelp
We stopped in for a beer while on a walk its sports bar. The bartender was very nice nothing special on tap just had your domestic beers we had one and left it was kinda expensive too.
google avatar

Wayne T.

Yelp
Super crowded before the Dodgers/Padres baseball game. Ordered the pastrami sandwich with onion rings. The pastrami was dry and a little chewy. The onion rings were a little well done; or the oil they were fried in was old. Would not eat here again but certainly would have a beer here and people watch.
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
Stopped by Bubs on a weeknight for some dinner and was pleasantly surprised with how large it was inside. We were sat at a booth and immediately approached by our waitress. We decided to split the Ballpark Nachos and some Buffalo Tots. While both dishes were attractively presented we found the taste to be pretty average bar fare. Neither were anything we would make a special trip here for. They have a ton of tvs with sports on so it's a great place to watch your favorite game and have a few drinks with friends. Given its location downtown there is no parking lot so you either have to try to find meter street parking or find a paid parking lot somewhere.
google avatar

Jamie M.

Yelp
I had a burger with Blue Cheese which was tasty. A little overcooked, I asked for medium-rare, it was served medium. Sat at the bar since we were on a lunch break. Service was slow which may have caused the burger to rest to medium. Prices are inflated due to location. Wouldn't do it again for a quick value lunch, but maybe for a dine-in experience going to the ballpark.
google avatar

Misti L.

Yelp
Game day vibes galore! . Great service at the bar! We had wings, dips-both guac and salsa, and chili. All were good but our fav were the wings! Classic Buffalo. A nice Christmas ale and his Hazy washed it all down! Great Sunday hangout.
google avatar

Jacquelyn F.

Yelp
The best wings ever!! Love the wings here. Always get the mango habanero which have a kick at the end but still very sweet. This is a must when in San Diego. The service is excellent. Ambiance is like a typical sports bar. Come for the wings, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Edwin N.

Yelp
Came here Friday afternoon chill spot to watch sport games would definitely comeback area is clean and chill, food is decent. Good sports bars Amanda took care of us 10/10
google avatar

Camille C.

Yelp
Great place overall! Basic American food done perfectly! The wings are big and have massive amounts of flavors to choose from! Many beer to choose from as well! Although it was really busy the service was great. We even got free 5 wings because they didn't hear my order correctly because it's super loud (game seven playing) and he got the wings out soooo fast too! The steakums reminded me of fajitas but with big pieces of steak cooked your way! The cheesesteak was really good and onion rings were perfectly cooked. Not oily, and perfectly crunchy. Would 10/10 recommend for food and service. But if you don't like crowds and noise don't come here. It was really crowded and very very loud, especially when games are on and people are into it!
google avatar

Berenice A.

Yelp
Wings! Wings! Wings! Sooo good ambiance is food with service always friendly. So much fun. Always a great place to be to watch sports. If it's home game make sure to be there early
google avatar

Tanya C.

Yelp
We liked this place so much, we came here two nights in a row during our stay in San Diego! Food was great - good burgers, healthy drinks, and some of the crispiest tots I ever had. If you like to dip in ranch, theirs is house made and delicious! Service and ambiance was also great. We will visit again next time we're in town.

Yelp
Went for game 3 of the NLDS series and considering it was packed, the bartender helped us out within a minute of walking in. We got a table after a while and the server was on it getting us another round! Shout out the the security guy Nate, I sat at a table the faced him the whole time and me and my boyfriend were just seeing how on it he was, welcoming everyone and helping everyone out! He was great! So sweet too! Love this place so so much!!!!

Yelp
We were gifted a $50 gift card for Bub's at the Ballpark, so naturally we saved it for one of our Wednesday afternoon pre-Padres game lunches. We walked in and, not unusual for Bub's, it was pretty packed prior to a Padres game. We lucked out and happened upon two guys at the bar who had just finished cashing out and they offered up their seats. We happily sat and we were greeted by the lovely and cheerful Rebecca. Rebecca took our drink orders and we decided to share a couple of appetizers. We started with the Borracha Queso Dip. "Ro's Queso has Anaheim chilis and chorizo topped with mozzarella and salsa fresca. We serve our Borracha Queso with warm tortilla chips". This was a skillet full of cheesy, ooey, gooey delightfulness. The chorizo is plopped in the center for aesthetic plating, make sure you stir it all in evenly! Initially it did not come with nearly enough tortilla chips so we requested more (a $1 upcharge). A large basket was quickly brought out, then we had too many chips. LOL! After the queso we decided to share a basket of 5 wings. We chose the Honey Habanero. I took a bite of a wing and tasted sort of mustard-y flavor. Definitely not honey. I think we were inadvertently given the Carolina Habanero flavor. It was not a big deal. however, as we quite enjoyed them. They had a nice kick from the habanero. No harm, no foul. One dipping sauce comes with a 5 wing basket. Additional are $0.50 each. With the $50 gift card we still dropped about $50, but that included a tip, on the original total of course. Don't screw your server because of your good fortune. Thank you Taylor for the invitation. Thank you Rebecca for the efficient and friendly service. See you next time!

Yelp
The food was pretty good and they are certainly experienced at getting your food out to you quickly and turning the tables over. That's great if you're stopping in for food before a game or a concert at Petco. Downside is getting a table is a free for all. We had to stalk other diners waiting for their table to open up. And they will not split checks. We had two couples so I thought that wouldn't be a problem but nope.
google avatar

Yelp
Go to places in San Diego for wings. Love their pretzels and sweet potato tots. They have a ton of beer on draft and weeknight specials too.
google avatar

Maayan Y.

Yelp
Ambiance ambiance ambiance! This is the place to watch the end of the game or to come after a Padres game for nachos and wings and a good time!! Wings were of the better we've had in San Diego. Service was fabulous considering how busy it was! Wing roulette is a fun touch to a night out. Overall great experience!
google avatar

Jeremiah S.

Yelp
Bub's is where the best wings are! Large and meaty, saucy and tasty! Great place to people watch, or even get a togo order! The wings are the star, especially Garbage and Archie! The beer selection is always on point, and there's enough televisions to see the game! So far I've tried: Wings, Tots, Conan the Bavarian, and Nachos! The menu is worth exploring since there's integrity to the food that you don't see in a lot of sports bars. In fact the food is SO good we usually get togo here once a week, mostly because I'm crazy for good wings and Bub's makes amazing wings! The tots usually stay pretty crispy on the way home, which is nice!
google avatar

Terra B.

Yelp
I always come to Bub's when I come to SD. They never get my order wrong and the food is always on point. Get the honey mustard tenders!!
google avatar

Melissa E.

Yelp
Wings, ranch, and potatoes, all my favorite things in 1 sitting! Tater tots were fresh, hot, crunchy, and the perfect amount of oily (not to much and not dry). The Buffalo and BBQ wings, were tangy, sweet, and perfect. Paired with a Moscow mule, and this spot is my favorite for wings and bar food.

Yelp
I came here Saturday during super busy time NBA and NHL playoffs at 5pm. Rheana was or waitress. She was so friendly so accommodating. We asked to put on Padre game. It literally was on our tv in 5 minutes and it was packed. The wings were mouth watering. We never had to wait for a drink. I highly recommend coming here for great wings and drinks. Thank you for great experience as a newly local. I will be back

Yelp
The pink haired bartender is super fast and really patient, she had to deal with some really difficult people around the bar today and managed not to choke anyone out. Mad respect. Also the animals tots are fire. Go Padres!

Yelp
Bub's has some of the best chicken tenders I've ever tasted. They're pretty filling, so make sure you go with an empty stomach if you're going to eat. I can't really talk on the service because I ordered my food at the bar, picked it up from the bar and sat down on my own. The bar tender was kind, but I can only describe my experience at this bar as a fend for yourself type experience. You get your ID checked, you go in, you sit wherever and either hope a waiter can come and notice you're a new party or go order your drinks and food at the bar (I did the latter). This is fine, but if you're not prepared for this kind of vibe, it may become a bit overwhelming. I'd say it's a great spot to go if you're with 1-3 other people, but it is loud and you can barely hear yourself think. But the proximity to Petco is something that can't be beat. If I had to give a more accurate rating, it would be about a 3.8, but I just couldn't make it to a 4 star on this one.

Yelp
Best place to watch the game. So many beers on tap and Conan the Bavarian pretzel is a must!

Yelp
Upon arrival we got drinks. My girlfriend's michelada looked and tasted line straight mix. Loaded tots arrived and were awesome! The fingers and fries were salted beyond belief! Must have signed a contract with a local cardiologist.

Yelp
Ordered: Sch'Animal Style Tots (~$17): cheese, caramelized onions, and secret sauce (homemade Thousand Island) over a bed of tater tots 5 Bub's Grilled Chicken Wings (~$10): Carolina Gold with a side of ranch 5 Bub's Grilled Chicken Wings (~$10): Garlic Buffalo with a side of ranch Diet Coke (~$3) Aya's take: Why didn't anyone telling me that grilled wings are SO much better than fried wings!? Bub's is doing it right. These Grilled Wings were juicy, tender, and wet! Each wing is drenched in the flavor and well-balanced with the ranch. The Sch'Animal Style Tots were crispy, and I absolutely loved the caramelized onions and secret sauce. I did not expect 10 wings and the tots to be a lot of food but I could barely finish! I could've easily split this among 2 people; I would recommend splitting with friends and trying a bunch of flavors. Absolutely delicious and insanely busy during weekend lunch!

Yelp
Was jonesing for a good burger. Was on SD for the Farmers Insurance Open golf tourney and I stayed about 200 feet away from Bubs so had to try. Sat at the bar. Started with a solid IPA that forget the name of. While I wanted a burger, I am a sucker for pretzels. They had a huge Bavarian style pretzel and I ordered that. Came with cheese sauce (very good) and some sweet mustard sauce (not a fan). I got some regular old yellow mustard and that was a good compliment to the cheese sauce. Only ate part of the pretzel as I wanted that burger. Ordered a Blue Cheese burger. Came out fast and I was surprised as it was a busy Saturday at 6:30 pm. Burger and fries were hot and very tasty. In hindsight I should have just gotten the regular burger with lettuce tomato onion. Maybe next time. Had lower expectations but was very happy with the food and the service. Go. Eat Well. Have Fun!

Yelp
Cool place to grab a drink and maybe some food before a ballgame. Of course the food is a little overpriced, I don't think drinks were too bad. IDs were checked at door and then it's open seating, we managed to grab a seat at the bar. Love the Christmas lights! Cool exterior as well. Service was good, for a busy bar. We went with the Animal style loaded tots, which was a mistake by me, should have just gone with the traditional loaded tots, they weren't bad but not worth the price. Range of craft beers, good amount of local ones. All the live baseball games were on the TVs too.
