Great shopping selection with brisket and sweets mostly in store made. Pond outside with dog trail that stretches for about 1/3 mile I think. Plenty of space to walk a dog with stone benches places around the trail. Very nice area to take a break and let your dog enjoy themselves. Even had a big group of ducks resting near the pond. For being in the city it's a nice spot to get away from the city. Only down side for me is I don't like crowded places so inside was a bit crazy personally. But otherwise it was a great experience to have.

Google

I love Buc-ee’s. It’s way more than a gas station—super clean, huge, and stocked with all kinds of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs you won’t find anywhere else. The stores are massive, always organized, and have a fun vibe. I love their candy selection, the famous “Beaver Nuggets,” and all their fresh food. The staff is always friendly, making the visit quick and enjoyable. Definitely one of those places you have to stop at in Texas, even if it’s just for a break or to grab something unique.

Google
Large gas station with plenty of pumps, snacks, beverages, and merchandise to choose from. Personally, I think the food is mediocre; I last got a kolache that was lukewarm, and the pulled pork sandwich I got before that was pretty bland. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You don't have to wait as long to check out as you would expect, given how many customers there usually are. I primarily come here for the fountain sodas. The sizes are generous and the prices are some of the best in town. You can get an X Large for around $1.20. However, the Dr. Pepper dispensers always have either very weak streams (to the point almost nothing comes out) or are 90% carbonation, which is why I'm giving this location only three stars. Someone *will* try to commit vehicular homicide in the parking lot.

Google
This is massive – definitely one of the biggest gas stations I’ve ever seen! Everything inside feels oversized, from the snack selection to the clean and spacious restrooms. They mostly sell their own brand products, which makes it fun to try something new. It’s a great place to stretch your legs, grab food, and fill up on gas during a road trip. The store is always busy but well organized, and the staff keeps it clean and stocked.

Google
🚫🌸5 stars for not allowing dogs!!🌸🚫 Clean bathrooms, great pit stop! 💦 So much to look at. Store is massive!!! According to the internet, they're known for their beef jerky, BBQ and Beaver nuggets. Never tried their beef jerky or BBQ. 🍖 The nuggets? Just okay in my opinion... But what an exciting store! Love that they sell brownies at Buckees. 💕🍫 Stop on by if you're looking for clean restrooms and gas. Would come back.

Google
We stop here when we come to Dallas, Texas. We love that stopping here. There’s a shop you can look for all types of things. There’s a fresh jerky counter that you can try any of them. There’s fresh BBQ that always hits. There’s tons of drinks you can choose from. Plus, there’s gas and a car wash. We ordered a BBQ sandwich, white cheddar beaver nuggets, and 2 hot sauces. The hot sauces were great, but everything else was.

Google
My Husband’s favorite gas store! Because you know Buccees Praline pecans are the best! Denton station has a pond which makes this place a perfect spot to relax after a long drive. Make sure to grab their delicious hamwich, pecan pralines and a drink for that perfect little picnic while watching those ducks and fish also enjoying the water

Yelp
Excellent layout, highlihghting the essence of home-grown passion for egood taste of the Denton, Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex Country Store. Cheers, Mark C. Fearing, Ph.D.

Yelp
This was my first time at this Buc-ee's location and it was the first time I noticed any of the bakery case with fruit flies. I wanted to try one of the paddle tails but there were little flies flying around in the case. The nibblings got the jerky they love and we got a few drinks but overall I was turned off by the bakery case. The restrooms and the rest of the store was clean Buc-ee's 2800 S Interstate 35E Denton, TX 76201 (Review 39 in 2025 and 882 overall)

Yelp
I love Buc-ee's! I was in Downtown Dallas for two weeks. Came from Los Angeles. I always wanted to come to Buc-ee's but never really traveled outside California. This Denton Buc-ee's has 122 gas pumps. Inside the store sells various products and they have a lot of their own label. From Texas, majority of the products I brought back for souvenirs are from Buc-ee's. There really isn't much souvenir stores in Texas. I can find everything back home. For the food, I ate their brisket sandwich, sides of brisket, and breakfast brisket burrito. Brisket is okay here, flavor isn't here. I tried their Buc-ee branded ice cream sandwich, it was super delicious! I bought pins, t-shirt, plushie, carolina reaper hot sauce, tons of jerky, chocolate, and much more! I probably spent $300-$400 here. And the bathroom is massive and very clean! Definitely coming back to Buc-ee's.

Yelp
What isn't to love about Buc-ee's?! The goods The snacks The cheap gas The bbq The fudge The staff are always incredibly helpful and on it. Especially for how constantly busy it always in inside. The restrooms also are always immaculately clean! It's not just a gas station, it's Buc-ee's!
google avatar

Deb K.

Yelp
Our second Buc-ees in two days! Always need to stop here for gas and goodies! Clean restrooms too and hot coffee the way you like it!
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Of course, we had to stop at Buc-ee's while in Texas. It's basically a gas station and convenience store on steroids, packed with lots of snacks, food, and an incredible amount of beaver merch. Not to mention random stuff like clothes, home decor, and travel mugs no one asked for. But hey, nothing says novelty like buying brisket and a suitcase at a gas station.
google avatar

Crissy H.

Yelp
I love love love love Buc-ee's, but not this location. When I visit, I go straight for their gummies, brisket, and jerky. I like being able to order the brisket at the counter, that way I can get a variety, versus buying them by the pack. Their beef jerky looked old and dried out, the Fort Worth location wouldn't dare present that to the public. One thing for sure, you can always count on their brisket to hit the spot. I don't know if this is new or if just at this location, but they charge for the condiments. That's odd, are they hurting for money? I like pickles, onions, and extra BBQ sauce. I was surprised to pay for something, that is considered a normal side. This particular store seemed really busy, and all over the place. I was left a bit, discombobulated. Of course, they're always busy; but this was a different kind of busy. I think, I'll stick to my favorite in Fort Worth.

Yelp
A Buc-ee's trip never fails. This one is a smaller location in my opinion than the other ones in the DFW area. The bathrooms were clean, and the brisket was stocked. I got a few snacks and coffee to take on the road. The dark roast was pretty bit, so I'm not sure what was going on there. No complaints but a solid Buc-ees.
google avatar

Dwayne W.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE taking out of town guests to Buc-ee's. They are always amazed. This location has THE BEST CARWASH! We typically get gas and a carwash here. That is what we did this trip as well as let our friends buy all the merch they could find.
google avatar

Manny G.

Yelp
Nothing More I can say about this perfect pit stop. Restrooms are super clean. Employees are friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

Gary B.

Yelp
Great place for clean restrooms, good snacks and gas. Spent a lot for what was supposed to be the top of the line car wash and my car was still dirty when done (cleaner but still dirty).
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
This place was an experience. When you exit off it felt like a themed park. Nuts galore all types. Wide selection of sandwiches wraps burritos. But the steak burritos & brisket was the must try's. Buc-ee's is a must stop if your in the area
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
Coming here is always great. I could spend hours looking at all the things they have for sale. Each time I come in I at least leave with something. The restrooms are always clean. This is one of our designated stopping points when we go to Oklahoma.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Stopped at Buc-ee's for some grub, and I enjoy seeing their selections of food. We got their chopped sandwich, which was really yummy. Large pieces of chopped meat, smothered in bbq sauce. Definitely one to try. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. It was just on the dry side, since there wasn't any sauce, but you can grab some bbq sauce in the condiments section and pour some on. We ended it with a cup of banana pudding, which was ok just the pudding itself, so it's best to dig in towards the bottom where all the bananas and wafers are. Overall, a pretty good meal.

Yelp
No visit to TX is complete without a visit to Buc-ee's ! Food options are aplenty and the inside is like a shopping mall Restrooms are top notch !
google avatar

Allison F.

Yelp
This particular location , while still good, is not as spectacular as some of the other ones that I have visited. Definitely smaller with much less choices. I still managed to spend $100 though.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a cool place. Very BIG! But I don't recommend buying overpriced food and souvenirs. A small sandwich is about 9$. The staff that works there are all friendly. They are swift at pumping food out. Lines go fairly quickly. It's cool just to see such a big gas station once but there is no other allure other than it's the biggest gas station I've ever been to. It gets busy and congested here. There are many many cars always coming and leaving. I do however like the name of this place. Haha
google avatar

Ange R.

Yelp
I mean...who doesn't love a cool place to stop, fill your tank, and take a break from driving? From lunch and snacks to gag gifts and household items, they have everything at Buc-ees! You can stay 10 minutes or an hour depending on your traveling timeframe. Check one out next time you're passing through Texas!

Yelp
Buc-ee's is always a great stop. Always good food and friendly staff. Bathrooms are always clean.

Yelp
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH BUC-EE'S CUSTIMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY!! I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Buc-ee's and, unfortunately, will no longer be shopping there. Not that they care. I attempted to return an item simply to exchange it for a different color, only to be told that returns are not accepted under any circumstances. I was informed that I had to repurchase the exact same item in a different size if I wanted it-essentially paying twice. What's most troubling is that nowhere on the receipt or at the point of sale is there any clear indication of a "NO RETURN/NO REFUNDS" policy. When I brought this up, the employee pointed to a small, barely visible sign behind the checkout counter and dismissively said, "That's our policy," with a smug and unhelpful attitude. I was dismissed with a casual "Oh well," which made the situation even more frustrating. This lack of transparency and poor customer service is completely unacceptable for a company of this size and reputation. Clear communication of store policies is not just good practice, it's a basic standard. I expected much better from Buc-ee's and am deeply disappointed by how this was handled.

Yelp
No trip is complete without stopping at Buc-ee's! They have something for everyone no question. Food, snacks, clothing, and much more. Be sure to stop if you get the chance. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Wanted to see if this Buc-ee's was different than others since it was much larger. I got gas here and it was reasonable for $2.37, though. I had found it online for $2.17 but didn't realize that you needed to get a car wash for that price. Since I had a rental car I wasn't going to get a car wash but $2.37 is way cheaper then where I live regularly. This Buc-ee seemed to be similar to the one that I went to earlier in the week. Similar food and drink and similar shopping. I was searching for doggie t-shirts and doggie toys. The one thing I did find that was interesting was candy was so much more expensive than it is where I live. I wanted to get a package of what looked like sour licorice but it was almost $6 and I opted to pass on it. Even candy bars were $1.32 which is expensive but it's what I needed. All in all, it was great to experience Buc-ee's for a second time and I look forward to the next time when I'm back either in Texas or another state that has these unique amazing stores with a huge amount of gas pumps!

Yelp
Whenever I have friends visiting from out of state, I like to introduce them to Bucees. I was working in Denton with my boss from the Midwest and brought her over here on our way back to the airport. She was really impressed with the store and bought some things to take home. It's a pretty standard Bucees and offered a very friendly and pleasant experience.

Yelp
So we are staying in Dallas and have seen this place on food network and other shows on you tube and everyone seems to rave about the place. So we figured let's take a short drive and check it out. Now I see why so many people love these places. There are gas pumps for miles. The prices are really good and inside the store there are so many ways to spend your money from T-shirts to mugs, beef jerky and truckloads of other snack options. Then you have the hot foods we tried the brisket sandwich and the chips. Both were delicious and very affordable. I definitely wish we had one of these where I live. I will definetly visit again next time I am near one. Prices are good and we still managed to spend over $100 for just cute gifts and snacks.

Yelp
This review is for the food. Fries were the highlight! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfectly salted and they hold their shape. The peach cobbler was a let down. Super sweet, has corn syrup, and tastes artificial. My favorite dessert is peach cobbler so I'm a harsh critic. The peach muffin was also a bit of a let down. It also tastes like it was made with artificial flavoring. Not a fan. Next time I'll try a new flavor and see if perhaps other flavors taste better. The fried chicken sandwich is good if you're in a hurry and need to pick up a quick bite to eat. Simple but gets the job done and I love the bread they use. Other than that the people who work there are so nice and the bathrooms are spotless. Great place to stop by if you're road tripping and need food and a place rest.

Yelp
Buc-ee's and its beaver mascot is iconic place in Texas my co-worker told me I should check out and boy was she spot on! It has to be the largest gas station Inhave ever been to. Had a great time walking around. Everything is plentiful and the vibe is socially exciting with lots of eager people gladly hanging out shopping for food and the many knick-knacks they have to offer in addition to what looked like 75-100 gas fillers!!! We came here because needed to charge our Tesla where they also offer very fast, reliable superchargers. Charged from 20% to 90% in around 25 minutes. During our 25 minutes of charging, browsing about and people watching in general made the wait time go by fast.

Katherine K.

Yelp
if I can give 0 I will. I bought an icee and I end up in emergency room with a trial fibrillation. After couple weeks I went to the store and request information about the ingredients and they refused to do that. They don't care their customer. BE AWARE!!!

Joel J.

Yelp
Don't be fooled with low gas prices. The price is only good if you buy the $16 wash. Not a deal with a 30 gallon tank. But then you get to 15 gallons and hear a click. They neglect to tell you anywhere that there is a 15 gallon max with the discount. Overall it is a cheaper car wash, but only half as cheap as they have you believe the first time.
google avatar

Tyler R.

Yelp
HIGH PRICES, SMALL MEAT PORTIONS, AND THIQUE BUNS. $10 Carolina pulled pork sandwich was disappointing. Look at that picture. I really thought I was getting a BIG ol' sandwich. I got-got and they has my money. I'm finally fed up with getting the hot foods from Buc-ees. I know everyone loves it and I have for years as well, but I am not spending money on the food here anymore.
google avatar

Jana J.

Yelp
First time stopping here and it was a great way to stretch our legs and pass the time. Huge selection of food including fudge, cookie dough, and other novelty items. Alcohol but no liquor. Very clean and large restrooms! Not crowded and didn't have to wait for restrooms or lines of any kind. Would definitely stop here again.
google avatar

Wade J.

Yelp
Very easy access from the highway. The gas was cheap and there are always pumps open. Everyone working inside was extremely cordial and attentive. Do they clone these people? Buc-ees is a prime example of what you get when you pay people well enough and keep them happy as employees. The bathrooms were extremely clean like 99.9% of the locations I've visited.
google avatar

Kierston W.

Yelp
Stopped at the Buc-ee's in Denton (2800 S Interstate 35 E) for a quick grab--water, sandwiches, some fruit, and dip. The bathrooms were gross, which is ridiculous for a place known for clean restrooms. But checkout was the real nightmare. A woman manager moved us to four different lines for no reason, and each time she did, the line we just left opened up. It felt like a game of musical registers run by someone with no clue. On the fourth move, the cashier we were dumped in front of just pointed us back to someone else. Total clown show. How hard is it to check out five items? Unprofessional, disorganized, and flat-out annoying. Do better.
google avatar

Quin P.

Yelp
While in Texas I could not miss a visit to this place. My first time and it did not disappoint. Everything you could ask for in a convenience store/market type store. Large selection of gifts, food, snacks etc. if you have not been, Go!!
google avatar

Stephen H.

Yelp
I think this location was undergoing a bit of a renovation when I was visited but it only affected a small part of the store. Still found the fun, tasty products I love and the friendly service. Always happy to get to a new Buc-ee's. :-)
google avatar

Juliette L.

Yelp
Clean bathrooms, lots of food items, tons of Buc-ee's branded toys, clothing, cups, and miscellaneous etc.. It really is a one stop shop. Great place to get a souvenir for your kiddos, and walk around to stretch your legs if you've been traveling on the road. We always stop due to the clean bathrooms, and my hubby loves their BBQ style sandwiches. My youngest loves the plethora of icee flavored beverages available. Best gas station market to stop at if you're nearby.
google avatar

Shahd E.

Yelp
Still amazing, one of my favorite snack + bathroom stops on roadtrips. Buc-ee's please open a location between Oklahoma City and Tulsa :)
google avatar

Nelson L.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. Plenty of gas station stalls, tons of snacks and food, and clean store/bathrooms.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Last Buc-ee's visit for this trip. The Denton location was about the same size as Madisonville, which I liked. Since it was the last Buc-ees we're likely to visit for months, we stocked up on our favorite jerky. My wife couldn't resist buying her second bag of fresh beaver chips of the day. She also discovered the ice cream section and bought some to eat in the car. Bathrooms were up to the usual spotless standard. Easy access to/from the Interstate. I'd use this location again.
google avatar

Palka M.

Yelp
We love buccees!!! Their bbq pork sandwich and chips are unbeatable - price and quality! Plus they have a great selection of foods for breakfast and lunch!
google avatar

John Q.

Yelp
It's a Buc-ee's! What more could you want?! Best rest stop in Texas where you can use clean restrooms and grab some great food and shop for unique trinkets or Texas sports gear. My personal favorite is the Brisket Sandwich, UNLESS it's morning and then it's the brisket taco. 'FRESH BRISKET ON THE BOARD!' - that'll make sense when you go. And you should go.
google avatar

Brittany R.

Yelp
I'll never give bucees anything other than 5 stars! ITS BUCEES!!!! :) Loved being able to finally go to an original Texas bucees!! :) great selection of merchandise, happy to meet bucee himself, and it wasn't as overwhelming as the one in Daytona lol
google avatar

Retna S.

Yelp
For those who know Wawa, this place is Wawa on steroids. It is as big as a supermarket. A lot of snacks, salsa, fudge, sandwiches, clothing, candied nuts, dessert, jerky, children toys including the adorable beaver mascot. Fudge: buy 4 gets 2 free. Six squares fit into a box. There were a lot of kinds to choose from. You can see how they are making the candied nuts so you know that they are fresh. Definitely get the brisket sandwich. Stuffed with delicious brisket with sweet and flavorful barbecue sauce. Also grab some beaver nuggets. The texture is similar to Corn Pops cereal.
google avatar

Christy S.

Yelp
I don't mind fighting a crowded parking lot for super clean bathrooms and an extremely wide variety of snacks and drinks for a road trip. There is so much to choose from and something for everyone!

Wendy G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. So efficiently ran. Their food is really good. The customer service is fabulous.

Yelp
Who doesn't love going to Buc-ee's?!!!! Great place to stop when traveling south to Dallas/ Ft Worth. After making the necessary pit stop it's time to stroll. First head to the counter to try their jerky. I have my favorite but this time I went a different route. Started with the Bohemian Garlic, Steakhouse, Cherry Maple, and then Ghost Pepper. Whoa that last one has a kick! Ultimately I choose the Teriyaki - best all around flavor. 1lb is $29.99. We wandered around just killing time before heading to the airport. Always a great time to just browse. Picked up a bunch of our other favorites before heading out. Until next visit!
google avatar

Erick W.

Yelp
Always clean! Great restroom/fuel/food/snacks/souvenirs/clothes/home decor/outdoor items. It's really a great store and stop for families among the interstate.

Yelp
1/28/23 (Visit date) I was SO READY to give Buc-EEs a 5 star until I got home & discovered that I was charged for an EXTRA Beaver Nuggets package that I didn't receive or purchase! It was a destination for me & another friend on this quick travel to Frisco Texas, was so excited & delighted when we finally did. Everything was indeed ideal: customer service (friendliness), impressive restrooms, a great variety of items/products. Pressed for time, didn't have enough to really explore each area, but what I saw (see photos) was like wonderland for tourists & locals alike. The fueling stations were indeed plentiful. There must've been a good 20 or so lanes, if not more! Lots of parking. The interior is brightly lit, fairly clean & orderly. The entrance to the restrooms were adorned with artwork for sale (tasteful & professionally done, see video I posted). Such the tourist that I am, picked up a t-shirt, a fridge magnet, and of course, a couple---TWO Beaver Nuggets packages, because my friend said they're really tasty (for the crew). The cashier lines moved expeditiously & she was really friendly-which distracted me from checking my receipt until I discovered the error when we arrived at my friends' home. "ZJ", the receipt says "Nyah, Jon" charged me a 3rd package. Okay, it's only $4.99, but it's the principle, the error did not receive any acknowledgment or rectification. The phone number provided on the receipt directs me to www.bucees.com, so no live person responds---for a store that's open 24/7, I find that unhelpful. I go to the website, "contact" them & it states to respond to the email that's sent to me. I attempted THREE times (to ensure I input the correct email, NOPE, no response! I checked my email, spam folder, nothing, to this day!! How rude! It is NOT good business practice. Alright: TLDR: fabulous shopping, great items, friendly service, nice restrooms. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE LEAVING because the phone number & website is BOGUS. Management should troubleshoot this practice.

Yelp
To sum it up...Buc-ee's is fun! This location is easy to get into and out of on 35W. The store is immaculately clean. It is so well-lit and inviting! It has a wide selection of Buc-ee's and Texas souvenirs and treats to choose from. And everyone in the store is smiling and in a good mood - employees and patrons! No matter if you're traveling though town or a local, a visit to this Buc-ee's is sure to bring a smile to your face!

Yelp
As a first timer, I didn't know what to expect. This is a nice place to visit and see what all they have to offer. They offer a variety of food options from jerky, pastries, and sandwiches. The store was well stocked and clean. Shoutout to Carmen on the recommendation of the beaver tail, it was good! She had great service and a bubbly personality.
