We really love Buc-ee’s for their huge, clean restrooms and their delicious food. The barbeque brisket sandwich is my favorite and the bakery is also excellent. They also have a huge stock of collectibles for sale as well as practical items. The best part for us is the entire staff are friendly and helpful. A really good place to stop.

Buc-ee’s Luling, TX – The Beaver Empire Just Got Bigger This place isn’t just a gas station—it’s a Texas landmark in the making. Spanning 1.7 acres and visible from the sky like a giant convenience store oasis, the new Buc-ee’s in Luling is a road tripper’s dream and possibly a black hole for time. Fuel first: There are 96 covered gas pumps, which should be plenty... but here’s the catch—people park at the pumps and then go inside to shop. So even when it looks like there’s space, you might still be stuck waiting while someone’s picking out socks, jerky, and home décor. Pro tip: there’s tons of parking—use it, people! Once you finally get inside? Game over. I tried the sliced beef brisket (solid flavor, smoky, worth the hype) and a whoopie pie (sugar bomb in the best way). From there, I found myself just wandering—aisles of quirky merch, snacks for days, and yes, even healthy snack options, which is a big win when you’re trying not to go full sugar-coma on a road trip. You’ll get lost. You’ll overspend. You’ll love it. Final thoughts: Buc-ee’s Luling is a glorious, slightly chaotic pit stop where Texas charm meets travel chaos. Just maybe get gas and then be kind to other weary travelers by parking in a spot before heading into the store.

The store is well kept and has friendly staff. I like how the staff welcomes you and that they are nice. They have great selections and great food. The bathrooms are super clean and there’s someone in there to clean it. I would definitely recommend going to this Buc-ee’s if you are near one in this area. 😗

I loved the blue coconut fountain drink, it wasn’t too sweet or acidic. More like a flavored water. This location was super busy but very clean and well managed clearly. Highly recommend for travelers in the Texas area.

Amazing!!! First time eating at Buc-ee’s & my hubby & I are so impressed!! To start off, the bathrooms are huge and kept super clean. The entire store is laid out so well that even though they have so much, it’s not overwhelming & you can see the gift area, BBQ station, Sweet Treats & so much more all from the front of the store. Their house made fudge was delicious & the lady working the counter was super sweet & made sure we got all the samples we wanted so made the right choice (I got a square of the Dark Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt & I’ll definitely get an entire box of it next time) we also got the Coconut Pie Cup, Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich & Hubby got the Chopped Brisket Sandwich. We are both huge bbq people so needless to say we were a bit skeptical with getting bbq from a gas station lol but man did they nock it out of the park!! Both meats were tender and juicy & the bbq sauce was the perfect touch! Prices are in the pictures :)

Love this mega Bucee’s in Luling! 120 gas pumps and everything a Bucee’s store offers. The pull pork and BBQ brisket sandwiches are over the top. Large quantity and tremendously tasty. Kudos to the staff. They are welcoming and helpful. Also, the largest and cleanest bathrooms. Highly recommend this location!

One of the best Bucee’s locations in Texas. Me and my family stop here everytime we are driving through Luling. It’s apart of our routine.

This place is always clean. The customer service is always consistent and amazing. Great deli food. There is beef jerky. There is a bakery. There is barbecue and fresh chips. Does the main thing that you can get here from gifts to food to necessity and gas. Of course the bathroom is super clean.

Omgsh Can I just move in here? Open 24/7, cleanest restrooms I've ever seen in USA and huge so lots of privacy even for men ( says hubby) Like a city in here, yummy bakery, scones amazing, sausage in a stick, lots of food and junk food, you pay on your way out. Staff friendly and plenty of them all over. Read they pay very well and treat their staff well, you gotta be doing something right to maintain this excellence Highly recommend this stop even if you don't need gas. They don't allow commercial trucks btw They even have an online store. This location looks fairly new, great stop between Houston and San Antonio I am no longer missing my Starbucks

Oregonian here, first time to a Buc-ee's. It was something else. The size is just astounding. Restrooms were excellent. I understand why Texans stop off here -- it was a great pit stop. There were many, many options for food. I wish there were a few more vegetarian / plant-based choices, but the vegetarian burrito was reasonable. One star off for using styrofoam as the default at the soda fountain -- I'm surprised that is still allowed, given the negative impact on the environment.

As a Buc-ee's connoisseur, I have to say this is by far one of the busiest locations. Good thing it's quite large! Really easy to get gas as always and quite easy to find parking, even with a trailer. Great prices for gas, food, and beverages! This location even provided samples of some of their food which was nice. Fun shopping here as all other locations. What's great about Buc-ee's is the consistency with every location, and this location is no different! Great service from all team members too.

Wow, the traffic was unreal. This new Buc-ee's feels like a copy-paste of the old one! Believe it or not, we actually had to wait for a restroom stall--at Buc-ee's, of all places! I've never seen it so packed. They've added pesto to the club sandwich, but we had to pass since my son's allergic to nuts. Gone are the days when you could order it your way. We also miss the Texas Pecan coffee and the better creamers they used to offer. And don't get me started on the bottled drink selection--it's like half of it disappeared after Covid. At this point, we still stop for the clean bathrooms, but we don't shop as much. All our favorites are history!

In full disclosure, I might be the one guy in Texas who doesn't care for Buc-ee's. First, they have 18,000 gas pumps and nary a squeegee to clean your windshield. (This is a travel station, right?) While their bathrooms might be the best ever, their food reminds me of the old automats in NYC -- processed and plain. Of course, these folks want to get you on your way, because there is no place to sit and eat. But before you leave, they want to sell you a few clothing items, an expensive cooler, a barbecue pit and maybe some deer corn. Another thing I don't like about this company is that they are very lawsuit happy. If you're thinking about opening a business, be careful with your mascot. These guys tie up more courts than the busiest ambulance chaser because they think they own the beaver market ... and any other animal caricature encased in a circular graphic. As much as I despise this place, it is always clean, and the customer service is always exceptional. Still, had my warning light not gone crazy because I was on empty, I would've passed this place by.

Made a Sunday roadtrip from Jonestown, TX just to visit Buc-ee's in Luling. I spent 2 hours shopping, watching, and talking to the wonderful staff. Big thank you to Trish in the clothing area, and Katie, Chris, Grayson, and all of the staff prepping food who greeted me and answered my questions. The chopped BBQ sandwich and fresh potato chips were great. Super Day Trip (9/22/24). Today I visited the World's Largest convenience store which is the Buc-ee's in Luling Texas. The store is 75,593 square feet. The fueling area has 96 pumps and 16 EV charging stations. They serve 160 briskets per day on the weekends. The biggest Buc-ee's in the U.S.! I dropped in to this location for the billionth time on a trip out of town not too long ago, but it just so happened to be my first visit since the store had been expanded. It's clear that they aren't finished expanding as construction is still underway in the ever growing parking lot, but that hasn't stopped business from being just as busy as it's always been. While the layout changed significantly, the place was still immaculate in cleanliness, well stocked, and fully staffed with welcoming team members. I noticed that some changes were made to their menus as well. Some menu items had simple recipe changes while others were done away with entirely, such and their kolaches, alongside the self-order kiosks. There was also tons of Christmas merch already up for sale through the store on top of their abundance of usual merch, and even a Buc-ee mascot walking around for customers to take pictures with. Every Buc-ee's is a great place to stop at during long car trips for snacks and breaks, this one just boasts the largest venue. I'm curious to see how much it will have changed by the time I visit next!

This was my first time at Buc-ees! They have so much going on in the best way!!! This is a great rest stop option for your roadtrip, especially a one stop shop for all the things you need, and plenty of hot food options. I was hungry so I got the pulled pork sandwich and plenty of snacks. The sandwich was juicy and flavorful. They have really great variety of snacks for a gas station. They also have a lot of Christmas items out, gift cards, the famous beaver nuggets, slushies, Buc-ee gear. Everything your heart desires!!

Clean restrooms, huge assortment of snacks, silly and serious gifts. Few and far between enough to keep it a special long drive stop. Love it when the mascot is out for photos!

Wowza! I normally stopped here got gas on way to Houston and this time is no different. They have expanded and everything is opened. Wow, it's like Disneyland in there. It huge! I can spend hours in here but my pocketbook would not like it. Anyway, it's a treat to stop at a Buc-ees and highly recommend.

Great gas station with a ton of food choices including their own jerky among other stuff! I just wished they had a dining area with tables to eat what we purchased. Friendly staff! Clean bathroom! I'll definitely be visiting this and other Buc-ee's next time I'm driving thru the area.

I don't think it's possible to have a bad experience at Buc-ee's!!! We absolutely love this place! This location is the closest to where we live and anytime we do a road trip it's a mandatory stop! It is the ultimate TX experience!! I've never stopped at a buc-ee's and walked out empty handed. Service is always above par and it is always so clean despite how busy/congested it gets!! If you've never been to a buc-ee's this is your sign to go!! :)

The traffic that is caused by the current layout caused a 10 minute traffic jam on the highway.

Brand new Buc-ees store, old one torn down. Store is way larger so hopefully on the weekends we be standing shoulder to shoulder. There is much more parking and many more gas pumps. Now if they will turn the syrup up on their sodas and make them taste better this would be a good stop.

What a mess! Didn't realize this particular location was under construction. Expanding the pumps? Adding more parking? Who knows?! Good thing I really like Bu-cee's as I made the extra effort to shop here. After getting gas, I pulled to a parking spot right up front. Then I used their ultra-clean restrooms and purchased coffee. The store was super-clean, and the staff was friendly as well. Please check out this location.

It's break-up time. Buccees. It's not me; it's you. Your gas never was great. Now you replaced the snacks with your own version? Took out the kiosk, and I can't pick my own sandwhich fixin's? But, it was over with you took out all the Diet Pepsi options and left me with this Buccees version. Blech. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Visited the newly built largest Buc-cee's. This place is massive and the service was top notch. Clean restrooms, great food, awesome apparel gear and lastly, two words.....Beaver Nuggets! Just buy a bag. You'll thank me later.

Dropped by this location between Houston and San Antonio around 1p on Sunday, 6/30. Took about half an hour to get inside from the time we entered a line to merge with another line to enter the parking lot and gas station areas. Per usual, clean and well stocked. Tried the cheese steak burrito for the first time, which was excellent. All good except for the traffic getting in was pretty awful.

We have been to a lot of Buc-ee's on our travels in the south. We happen to be passing the biggest Buc-ee's yet in Luling, Texas and of course had to stop. Inside looks the same as all of the others. Food offerings are the same with one addition. They had a box with chicken and fries. It looked like chicken strips. They looked good but we still bypassed this and got the brisket sandwich. The brisket is always good here. You can't go wrong with the brisket. Other than that, the parking was hectic. There was no parking on one side of the building because they are still working on the parking lot. Buc-ee's has always been great. Stop in if you are passing by. Even if you don't need gas.

*This is a review of the new building* Beware, there is still significant construction underway at this location with ingress/egress and parking availability a possible issue. (6/26/2024) We visited in the late afternoon on a Monday and found the store to be relatively busy but not CRAZY busy as I expected. This was a good development that allowed us to leisurely explore the store. Buc-ee's has become synonymous with Texas "bigness" and it shows here. A zillion gas pumps, every kind of travel related item you can think of, and a great selection of food items made for taking on the road. The surprise is the wide assortment of gift items, tchotchkes, and Buc-ee's branded paraphernalia all over the store. It's a literal Beaver Wonderland! Clean bathrooms BBQ Snacks Drinks ...and a phalanx of gas pumps. That's Buc-ee's

I agree with another reviewer, we love Bucee's but not this one. The first time we stopped was on a Tuesday around noon and it was busy but wasn't terrible-terrible. They're still working on the left side of this place so traffic was backed up. We gassed up on the far end (on the right side of the gas station) and we didn't have a wait. The kids got an Icee and some fresh made beaver chips inside. Again, it wasn't terribly busy. Bathrooms were clean and we didn't have a wait. BUT... we tried to stop here on the way back from San Antonio and it was a different story. The line of cars to just get into this place was backed up onto the HIGHWAY. I kid you not. It wasn't better from the other side of the gas station either: needless to say, We decided to go to the new Love's gas station on the other side of the highway and didn't have a wait at all. To sum up, we love Bud-EE's but this was probably the worst we have been to. Maybe it'll be better when the construction is done??

I absolutely love this place. I could go on for hours about their food, service, and cleanliness. But hopefully, anyone reading this already knows all of that. Just a current word to the wise is that their construction does make it more difficult to get around it right now. However, it looks that soon they will have the World's Largest open right next door so this may be cleared up before we know it.

You can't be focused for all the goodies they have, and to see all the crazy people walking around buying like it's going out of style .

I love Buc-eel's & I stop all over the US to get snacks & iced coffee. We drove up to this one & of course it was chaotic & it took way too long to get a parking spot but I thought it was worth it.... Until I realized this location doesn't have iced coffee. Huh? Why not? Ugh... So disappointing. They had creamer & caramel & all kinds of stuff to go in coffee but no iced coffee? The restrooms were clean, as always!

I love Buc-ee's and it's hard not to stop if I'm driving back from being out of town. I have been hitting this one up on my way back from San Antonio. I agree with the reviews this place is PACKED! You definitely want to get Zen and be ready for patience. It is more the parking lot and gas pumps that are packed to me. There haven't been any lines to use the ladies' room or to check out the numerous times I come here. It's the line to park or even exit this place that will get you! I love the cute little items they have here. I really don't even hit up the candy and snack aisle. I've been checking out the tshirts, cute accessories and even scored me a popular TikTok seasoning here. They are currently constructing the new Buc-ees that is going in next to this one. Hopefully they will get the traffic stuff figured out. Other than that...love this place!

Buc-ee's is the best gas station and rest stop you will ever experience. Not only do they have any type of snack and food you could ever imagine, they also have home goods, outdoor furniture, hunting equipment, camping gear, clean bathrooms, exceptional customer service, a designated location for pets to potty, and the best bbq! The the multiple cash registers, I have never had to stand in line for longer than a minute on a busy day. The particular location is on its' way to being the worlds largest gas station with their new expansion.

This was my first ever visit to a Buc-ee's! And I loved it!!! Buc-ee's is a lot of things rolled into one nice big Texas-sized treasure chest! I was amazed at how they keep the shelves tidy and fully stocked! The Buc-ees chain was started by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III in 1982 in Clute, TX. Until 2018, Buc-ee's could only be found in the great state of Texas. Today, you can visit a Buc-ee's in a few other states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee. There are new locations planned for Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Outside, there are many spots for fueling your vehicle. However, NONE are for 18-wheelers (semis) because they are prohibited at Buc-ee's. This place is easily accessible from the I-10 in Luling, TX! From what I read on Wikipedia, the first Buc-ee's Travel Center is in Luling, TX ... this must be it? In the super clean lady's restroom, shopping can continue because there are pictures and other merchandise in there, too! Did you know there's an award for "Best Restroom in America"? There is and Buc-ee's won that award in 2012! I was busy looking at everything! Souvenirs, food, home goods, outdoor gear, and knick-knacks galore! It was less than a month away from Christmas, so their seasonal items were out & were so cute! The Grinch T-Shirts were "FAB-U-lous" (in his sing-songy voice)! Many beverage options, ice cream, fudge, burritos & tacos, hot sandwiches, hot roasted nuts & other snacks. We got a Chopped BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich to share, an ICEE, an assortment of chips & pork rinds, some Buc-ee's Hot Sauces, & a magnet. One of the things they are well known for is the Beaver Nuggets. Try a bag or two! We got the Bold n Sorta Spicy flavor. Our first road trip from CA to AL (and into FL) was in the latter part of the 1980's. I'm sure we've driven this route at least half a dozen times! It's hard to believe that it has taken this long to make our way into a Buc-ee's!! I could have browsed the entire store all day long, but we were on a road trip and needed to get movin' along! If we make the drive through Texas again, we'll stop in!

Stopped by after a turbulent day and satiated my need for serotonin with a fantastic Tshirt, a lapel pin, some pickled quail eggs, and a DrPepper icee.:) Staff was friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely love Buc-ee's. However, I would avoid this location until the construction is finished. This place was PACKED. Buc-ee's usually is, but this was a mad house trying to pull in & find a parking spot. Finding a gas pump? Forget it. I overheard an employee saying they have to leave at least 10 minutes earlier for work because of how congested everything is. Food and drinks were great & restrooms were clean. Hopefully they'll get this place finished and running smoother soon!

For a gas station, quick stop, have a little of everything store, it was awesome. I was a Buc-ee's virgin, I guess, so this was my first visit and I had heard that Luling was their biggest store yet. My wife drove out to one of their spots near Fort Worth earlier this year, so I had had their chopped brisket sandwich before, which was amazing. So since I was doing some work nearby in Seguin, figured I would make a stop. The store is pretty cool, has a little bit of everything. Two walls of jerky. I had tried theirs before and it was a little hard for me, but good flavor. Next to the jerky was a wall of gummy candies. Unfortunately, I'm a sucker for those. Their gummy bears are honestly some of the best. Soft, unlike the original Haribo, but that's the way I like them. For dinner, I had the sliced brisket vs. the chopped. Fantastic again. I considered the pulled pork, so will give that a try next time. I also got a bag of the homemade chips. Those were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The one thing I learned from my neighbor that I need to try are the Beaver Nuggets. Didn't know about those beforehand, but do now, so will definitely try those next time around. And if you need gas, it looked they had around 100 pumps. I might be exaggerating a bit, but there were a lot. Definitely worth a stop if you happen to be passing through Luling.

Oh yeah, Bucees! Clean toilets, browsing, and a big beaver. Snacks galore...the chopped brisket sandwich, as perfect as other locations. This location seems like they're building another bank of fuel pumps, so there's some construction. Bucees is our road trip destination station, for very good reasons!

Everything 100/10 . Great customer service, great products. You can find anything you need here. Only complaint is ...i wish they were more vegetarian friendly .

Just a great store to stop by and get gas and whatever else you may or may not need. This is the only store that I have found the energy drink called Up Time. They are much better than any other energy drinks to me. This store carries Gift products and they also serve food like pulled pork sandwiches and other yummy items. It's definitely an experience if you stop by.

Oh how I wish Buc-ee's was not only a Texas thing! Every-time we've come to visit Texas, it's a must to make a pit stop at Buc-ee's. From the amount of gas pumps available, to the variety of items sold, and the extremely clean gas station bathrooms, how could you not love stopping at Buc-ee's. The employees here are great and the endless options are wonderful. We make it a must stop for the candied pecans, milk chocolate almonds, beef jerky, strawberry lemonade, sour belts, sweet tea, brisket sandwiches, and kettle corn. Also stop by for some Buc-ee's merch which doesn't disappoint either. If you're in Texas and near a Buc-ees you need to make a pit stop here.

I have always known Buc-ee's for its outstanding customer service, excellent food, and impeccable restroom hygiene. However, I had a disappointing experience today that I wanted to bring to your attention. First, the soap dispenser in the restroom was not working and appeared to be damaged. Secondly, I visited the store around 10 PM and needed a bottle of room temperature water. I picked a bottle from outside the cooler, which was priced at $0.99 each. When I went to the counter, the lady wearing glasses and a hand splint refused to sell it to me because it was taken from outside the cooler. I mentioned that the same bottle is sold for $0.99 in the cooler, but she insisted that I had to buy the entire case. I found her attitude quite dismissive. I hope you can address these issues to maintain the high standards Buc-ee's is known for.

During my trip to Texas, we stopped at 4 Bucee's. 3 big stores and 1 little convenience store. This one, I bought a tank top, t shirt, fingernail clipper key chain, sticker, Texas bandana, dog food measuring cup with clip, and a brisket sandwich. They have no dressing room here. I just tried on over my other shirt. No mirror either, so I relied on the worker's opinion. I fit in a medium tank top. As I was leaving, I got my picture taken with Buccee mascot. What's not to like? The restrooms are always clean, the snacks and candies options definitely help roadtrips, and the fountain drinks are great!

Always fun to stop in and see what is going on at Buc-ee's. Very busy today. Very clean restrooms, plenty of gas pumps. Lots of Tesla charging stations. If you are traveling thru and need a break. Stop in and see what all the talk is about buc-ee's. A must stop for you and your friends and family!

Anytime I'm heading to San Antonio or down south to Rio Grande Valley, it's mandatory to stop here and enjoy all the things that makes Buc-ee's the champion of gas stations. What makes it great? Favorable gas prices, car wash, the cleanest restrooms you'll ever set foot in, homemade beef jerky, beaver nuggets, sandwiches, merchandise store, etc. You name it; there isn't anything you won't like about Buc-ee's and yes, I just did a double negative there. This is always my restroom stop before I stock up on snacks and maybe picking up one of those sandwiches or sausage on a stick depending on how hungry I am. And of course those breakfast tacos in the morning, awwwww yeah!

Who doesn't like to stop at Buc-ee's for a cup of joe and to take care of business. LOL! This is a smaller one but they are building the largest Buck-ee's in the World right next to this one in Luling and it will be a place to visit.

Love all of them! This was my first experience with Bucee's while on vacation in Texas and we've now been to three of them. They're all up and down the highway throughout Texas. All are huge and have a good variety of convenience store items as well as good barbecue (brisket!) prepared food items, souvenirs and household goods. We also get gas here. The restrooms are big, nice and very clean!
