GPB Politics Reporter Stephen Fowler Enjoys Buc-ee’s Brisket and Mercer Gold Wings While on the Road Covering Georgia’s Wild Election Cycles - Eater Atlanta

"He also never misses a chance to hit the Buc-ee’s off of I-75 in Fort Valley. The smoked brisket sandwich is typically his order or one of the breakfast biscuits, if he’s around in the morning." - Beth McKibben

It's Bucees! If you know you know. They tend to be pretty consistant across locations. If you don't know, maybe stop in. You need to potty dontcha? Good gas prices, great bathrooms, salty sweet or savory, hot or cold, they have anything you need on a trip. Designed to be in and out, no seating inside. Everything is good but you may find your purchase adding up quick so be a little price concious if you want to get out under $50. I love the open soda and coffee areas. They have anything you could possibly want in your coffee- I love a good iced coffee with oatmilk and syrups. If you like it sweet put a little thick syrup on the bottom. It's generally constantly busy, so if crowds give you anxiety I recommend going during odd hours and avoiding weekends (tho if you're lucky Bucee themself is out on weekends for photo ops!) The building is huge but everyone is wandering around for this or that so it's chaotic. If you are with a group, make a meetup plan because it is easy to get lost.

Wow, what a big place! They sell almost everything. The place was crowded like a shopping mall. Hundreds of customers. Lots of workers. So many things to see and buy. Even has a conveyor belt showing you how to make tacos. No big lines. Lots of cash registers. So you can go quickly through the line. I was impressed with the quick service. It's a tourist attraction for sure.

Google
This place is amazing. Who knew? Having a huge huge convenience store would be like this. There's selection of coffee was huge. Each employee that I interacted with were very polite and courteous showed me what I was looking for. The entire store was faced. Everything looked full. They were out of chicken burritos. I asked one of the employees in the kitchen, who said he would be more than happy to make me a fresh one. Now that's customer service. Oh, and their 10 Pound bag of ice is only $1. Great value. Great price.

Google
The best place to stop. The large parking lot, and gas station will welcome you for a stress free parking lot process. The store welcomes you into a world of snacks, gifts, fresh brisket, jerky, drinks, candy, and what ever you need on a long drive. The restrooms are clean and luxurious. The ultimate rest stop.

Google
Welcome to the gas station that never sleeps! We stopped here for a break on a road trip at 11pm on a Friday night. This place was hopping! You are greeted cheerfully and immediately upon entry. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Then the real fun starts. There is merchandise everywhere. We had fun browsing all the annual and seasonal beaver products. Toilets were clean and secluded. Hand washing and entry/exit to bathroom was touch free. There was an art gallery at the entry/exit of bathrooms that was full of exciting pictures for sale. We left with a hot coffee and big bag of beef jerky. The location is convenient and easy to get to. Almost every other billboard leading up to the store tells you how far away you are. Once you get off the exit, look for the smiling beaver and you’re there! Fun was had by all, and we would stop here again.

⭐ 1/5 – Truly Disappointing Experience We love stopping at great places during our travels, and I almost always give 5-star reviews when we have a good experience. I usually don’t bother rating the not-so-great ones, just to give the benefit of the doubt — but this stop at Buc-ee’s really deserved a 1-star. The brisket and egg tacos were not good at all — dry, flavorless, and at $5.99 each, way overpriced. The gas was more expensive than nearby stations ($2.99/gallon), and worst of all, the grass area was full of dog poop. There are no tables or chairs inside or outside, so if you get food here, good luck finding a place to sit. Even basic amenities like windshield cleaner, napkins, or squeegees at the pump were nowhere to be found. We were really looking forward to this stop, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.

TGS !

Google
This place is great - it combines gas, food, good bathrooms, and souvenirs! The sandwiches were delicious (the meat was not dry at all, and there are plenty of options to suit each person's taste - you can also see them get freshly prepared right in front of you). The place is popular, full of unique and branded products, and souvenirs. The bathrooms are very large and clean. Additionally, the gas was cheap. The only issues were that Buc-ee's is always crowded with huge amounts of people, making it hard to get past someone at certain times, and occasionally, there are lines to use bathrooms. Also, there is no brush to clean the windshield and windows of a viechle, which is very common in other gas stations. Overall, Buc-ee's is a good place to stop after a long time on the road.

Google
First time visiting, and it didn't disappoint! The fresh beef jerky and fudge were amazing! The facilities were awesome, and just walking around made the stop worth it! So many great folks working here.

Yelp
I haven't visited Buc-ee's much but this Buc-ee's makes me want to go back every week! The bathrooms were in fact not dirty; they were very well kept together. No empty registers! The lines looked long but they moved fast! I swear, you're in the line and before you can even think about how long the line is, you're already done! Imagine that!

Yelp
Road trips are back in style again thanks to Buc-ee's. We've been coming to them since we lived in Houston. It's so much more than a gas station. It's an experience. The gas is always very competitively priced...but you have to stop in and enjoy everything else they have to offer. First...the cleanest bathrooms you'll ever find on the road. Second...the food. They have fresh brisket and pulled pork all the time. The fried chicken sandwich is also legit. They also have a ton of other deli sandwiches you can choose from. The salads are fresh and very filling. Third...the snacks. If you have a sweet tooth then you have to sample all their fudge flavors and buy a mixed box. If you like salty...try all of their brand potato chips. Jerky fan??? They have you covered with over 20 different flavors of beef jerky. Lastly...if you're a beer enthusiast...every Buc-ee's has a decent wine and beer selection...and every location has a selection of local beers. I've found a few nice hazy IPA's at different locations. Please support local breweries like they do. You'll see there signs 100 miles before you get there...so if you're on a road trip and see one...make sure you stop in.

Yelp
Great place to stop and stretch. They have truck stop food. Mostly burgers. Not enough healthy options.

Yelp
Iconic All American road stop rest area eatery whatever! lol Buc-ee's serves just about everything, Can't lie I was a little overwhelmed when I walked inside, travelers from all walks of life families pets all having a great time with alittle something for everyone, being an ex veteran, even had a line of clothing sportswear for veterans very nice, food and drink for days all made hot fresh to order, sandwiches pouring out of multiple lines serving brisket sandwiches turkey sandwiches club sandwiches you name it they've got it sausage on the stick and the list goes on and on, bathroom spotless I saw team members cleaning the restroom, the main areas to entryways and the cashier area. They take pride and their establishment and their building. Since I'm traveling with a family dropped about $150 on sandwiches drinks and assorted chips and hot sauce went outside as a family sat on the lawn and indulged truth be told food was just OK, that' me and my familys opinion, Food was lukewarm sitting under the heat lamps or maybe it was just us walking around exploring Buckys and our food got slightly cold however it was a pretty cool Experience within itself and I'd come back anytime! if your in the area or if you see the otter with a big ol red hat on the side of the road stop on in you won't be disappointed.. I have spoken

Yelp
I do love me some Buc-ees when traveling. It's a must stop just to browse and take pictures with the Beaver! Plus the road signs leading to Bucs are amusing. They have a wide variety of snacks and merchandise. They also have blankets and shirts and mugs that come out specifically for holidays / seasons. Their restrooms are also very clean. If you're into meat and bbq then you can get all sorts of food options however for those that don't eat meat there are very few options available. Even the cheese and fruit tray options have meat! I was just so disappointed that you couldn't find a snack tray that had cheese, fruit and crackers/pretzels together. All the ones available had sausage in them. So I bought a container of grapes and a snack one with sausage and threw out the sausage. Come on Buc-ees do better to accommodate your no meat eaters. We matter too :)

Yelp
I was heading to Atlanta and wanted to fill up my car before getting into crazy traffic so this was a perfect time to try Buc-ee's. It was easy to find a fuel pump free although a lot of people seem to use it as a parking spot. The store was easily as big as the neighborhood Walmart near my house. I was overwhelmed and the line for the women's bathroom was crazy long and all the way out into the store. I ended up grabbing some snacks and leaving. This place is definitely more of a destination and not somewhere to stop for a convenience. driving break. I stopped at another gas station at the following exit and I think the gas price at Buc-ee's was at least $.30 more per gallon.

Yelp
This was the first Buc-ees we visited on this road trip. Like every Buc-ees I have been to, it was extremely busy and a shit show-but only on the customer side. The employees are always wonderful. We have been to several locations in different states and I have discovered they are mostly the same. This visit, I browsed inside while hubs and the dog were outside. I usually pick up some Chopped Brisket sammies for hubs and I if we are hungry, along with chips and some other impulsive food item from the hot bar. I did not have many intentions of purchasing items but I don't think I ever walked into a Buc-ee's and walked out empty handed. I was looking for Buc-ee's merchandise or apparel that was specific to Georgia, like maybe with peaches in the design but was not in luck. I know we were passing by another location so I figured I would check them out. Honestly, if you have been to one Buc-ee's, you have been to them all. They are slightly different from each other but not by much.

Yelp
First time here! Atmosphere it's amazing! Food was good, just wish had less BBQ! It's a must visit

Yelp
This was a cool place! Finally I got to see what the hype was about for Buc-ees! I can see the oohs and ahhs of it but also see the overwhelming of it too. I mean there was PEOPLE everywhere! It was THICK with people! It was so nice seeing all the different kinds of jerky, candy snacks, food especially the hot food and bakery items! Definitely a great place for the foodie and the snacks get that's for sure! I bought the corn nuggets and some jerky and some fudge! This place is definitely a must go to when you're within the area! I can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Buc-ee's is an iconic roadside stop that has become a traveler's must-visit, especially in the South. This Texas-based chain has gained national attention thanks to its impressive social media presence, which has played a huge role in its meteoric rise. Known for its clean, spacious restrooms, wide selection of food, and unbeatable convenience, Buc-ee's has turned the humble gas station into a true destination. We visit the Buc-ee's in Fort Valley every year on our way to Orlando - sometimes even twice a year - and it never disappoints. The restrooms are, without exaggeration, the cleanest restrooms ever. People joke that you could eat in them because they're spotless. Seriously, the attention to cleanliness here is on another level. As for the food, Buc-ee's is famously known for its brisket, and let me tell you, they put it on just about everything. From sandwiches to snacks, you can get your brisket fix in every form imaginable. It's a must-try! The store itself is like a hybrid of a gas station, grocery store, and Marshall's. You can grab anything from snacks and clothes to souvenirs and even home goods. The gas prices are pretty decent, which makes it a great stop not just for food, but also for refueling both your car and yourself. The service is always amazing - the staff are friendly, helpful, and make sure you have everything you need. That said, Buc-ee's is so popular that it's almost always crowded. Be prepared for a line in the women's restrooms, though they move quickly. Despite the crowds, it's worth the stop every time. Whether you need gas, food, clothes, or just a break, Buc-ee's has you covered. It's the ultimate one-stop shop for road trippers!

Yelp
Clean, fast, always friendly service at this location. It is very busy, so plan to wait at the pumps, for the bathrooms and at the register; but it's always worth the wait for me!

Yelp
A great place to stop right off I-75 Buc-ee's was founded in 1982 by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and Don Wasek in Clute in Texas In the 44 years of operation it has grown from a modest gas station into a chain of travel centers celebrated for their large facilities and excellent bathroom cleanliness. As of 2024, Buc-ee's operates 50 locations across nine states, with 35 in Texas and two in Georgia. The Warner Robins location, opened in November 2020, was Georgia's first Buc-ee's. This particular location is fairly easy to get to with a light at the entrance to it right off the interstate. Like most locations, it is a massive travel center. Namely, if you have never been to one of these, you are in for a treat. Most of the locations sport over 100 ga pumps and each of the ones that I have visited are a destination in itself. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a large space filled with lots of shopping and dining options. One of the biggest highlights of all these centers, this one included, is the food selection. They have their own fresh BBQ sandwiches, brisket tacos, and beaver nuggets along with prepackaged food and various drink options. Their jerky bar offers an impressive variety, and the bakery serves up fresh kolaches and homemade fudge that are hard to resist. If you need a quick caffeine fix, their coffee station is well-stocked with quality brews. Beyond food, Buc-ee's is a shopper's paradise. They have Georgia-themed and Buc-ee's themed merchandise, outdoor gear, or other unique items. The restrooms, famously clean, live up to their reputation as some of the best you'll find on any road trip. Overall, if you need to stop, this is a great choice along the way.

Yelp
Buc-ee's understood the assignment! Clean bathrooms, the snack selection, the souvenirs and just shopping in general is mind blowing. Even for how busy it was, I was able to get in and out fairly quicklyThey have it all plus a jerky station, bakery and sandwiches for daze! I had a pulled pork previously but this time I opted for the deli sandwich! Spicy and sweet heat plus some kind of cheesy sauce on spiced turkey AND bacon- it's weirdly addictive and I'm still thinking about it. I'll be back BUC-EE'S!
google avatar

Jen G.

Yelp
Christmas time at bu-ee's! Cute place to shop with tons of snacks like jerky, crunchy treats, and sandwiches. There's all kinds of merch like shirts, sweats, snuggies, and dog toys. It's half a big gift shop and half deli/gas station snacks. People were loading up on branded coolers, hats, you name it!
google avatar

Brandy D.

Yelp
The only thing good about this place is the dog walking area is large and goes around the whole premises. There were tons of piles of what I'd assume are of anthills. There are also tons of shitty people who don't clean their dog poop up even though there's all kinds of signs and poop bags everywhere. Bucees definitely doesn't send somebody out there to check because there are a lot of poop piles everywhere. This place is overrated. It definitely has a lot of cool stuff but it's like Walmart at Christmas time with a bunch of trashy people who have no manners and its shoulder to shoulder so you really can't even look over things because someone already looking at it or over your shoulder to get it. It's a cool concept but apparently some people have never been to a good gas station and it shows. I will stop somewhere else as it's just too much of a hassle for a gas station stop.
google avatar

Polly M.

Yelp
This is the worst Buc-ee's I've ever been to! There is absolutely NO organization for a person to pull in with a camper. Then, if you make it inside, forget about asking a question! The management should be ashamed.
google avatar

Amy T.

Yelp
Delicious snacks and full out meals. The iced tea is fresh brewed at multiple times during the day. Best bathrooms around.

Yelp
We love Buc-ee's! We were traveling on I-75 and stopped in for fuel and snacks. I got a chicken salad sandwich, small banana pudding and some buc-ee nuggets. My wife got the brisket sandwich. So far everything we've gotten at Buc-ee's has been spot on and has been delicious! I didn't take any photos because there are soooo many photos of Buc-ee's items from other people. All the staff is super friendly and everything is always super clean! Thanks you Buc-ee's for all the great services you provide us travelers!!! You're the best!

Yelp
Always a must to stop!!! Cleanest restrooms, never a wait for gas, and you certainly can find unique gifts inside. Where else can you spend $$$ on baby clothes at a gas station?!?

Yelp
A must stop whenever traveling to take a break, gas up Shopping, great food, clean facilities.

Yelp
Madhouse . I have been wanting to visit a Buc-ee's so bad and now I'm good, lol. It's like mini mall with different shopping sections. Housewares, clothes, food, jewerly, wine, regular gas station side items.

Yelp
Not our favorite Buc-ees. We visited Buc-ees for years in Texas and were excited when they finally made it to FL. Glad this wasn't our first visit or we'd probably never get another brisket sandwich. Maybe the bread was old but just not the uusual great preparation. And the house made chips weren't crispy This time. Noticed something new (to us) that looked like the excellent Beaver Tails Pastry prevalent in Canada. Pretty sure it wasn't the labeled Jalapeño Sausage Kolache. Sure enough, she confirmed it was a Beaver Tail so we had to get one. Beaver Tails at Buc-ees? That's perfect! Alas, it was a dry pastry with too-sweet icing. Bummer. I would try this location on a less busy day if in the area again but won't seek it out.

Yelp
Buc-ee's won a new fan! I have heard so many great things about this gas station, and I'm disappointed it took me so long to plan a pit stop during a road trip. This is the Disney of road trip gas stations, seriously! The area is massive; you first see rows and rows of gas pump stations and many cars. The main attraction is the store. It has everything you can think of: food, merch, home decor, coffee, the famous jerk beef, and much more. I tried the sliced brisket sandwich, and it was a 9/10. Not too bad to be from a gas station. The restrooms were among the cleanest I have seen during any road trip. The lines were long, but they moved fast. Three employees guided people to empty stalls, which helped with the flow. The cherry on top was seeing Buc-ee's mascot! It was so adorable... just like a character greeting at Disney, lol. If a Buc-ee's on your way, stop by and check it out. It is a fun! If crowds are not your thing it can be overwhelming, so keep that in mind. This particular location on I-75 in Fort Valley, Georgia was tidy and organized despite being full of people. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This location is the Buc-ee's on I-75 after crossing the Florida - Georgia line. Also EV charging stations available too. Not sure about other locations but this one didn't have a dog park but plenty of green areas to walk around your pup.
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Came here to get gas. This was our first time at a bucees and I was curious of the hoopla. Well I can tell you when you first drive up, it was the largest gas station my little beady eyes saw. There was legit like 40 or more rows of gas pumps. Then we walked inside. It was crazy. Makayla stated who worked the meat area where they were chopping up the meats that it was extremely slow. Not to me!!! Makayla gave me a sample of the chopped meat. Then I met Whitney who gave me and my wife free samples of fudge. They were good. I then met a gentlemen who gave me free jerky samples. I didn't get his name as he was busy. Jerky was good. We bought a sliced brisket sandwich. It was a bit salty. Average sandwich as to be expected. I was hoping for gourmet. Overall wonderful experience but that place is crazy. I'd come back
google avatar

Chloe T.

Yelp
This Buc-ee's location is amazing just like all of the others I've visited. This one seems to be a tad smaller than some, but still gets the job done. Make sure to visit when you're on I75!
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
People RAVE about Buc-ee's, but I just don't understand the allure, just like I don't understand Starbucks. Sure: their bathrooms are scrupulously tidy (especially considering its 'gas station' roots, there are lots to buy and eat and drink; it is full of life and excitement! And it is exactly its popularity that's its biggest enemy. The line often begins at the off-ramp, continues with the entrance, and the race-for-the-next-open gas pump, through the line to pay if you're buying anything, and yes, even at those afore-mentioned, otherwise exemplary washrooms (a look at the ladies' side can be groan-inducing). My definition of hell is trying to get to that Costco and/or Buc-ee's in St. Augustine, (cuz they are side-by-side) around the holiday season. Let there be no road rage incidents please, Lord!
google avatar

Diedre R.

Yelp
Are you kidding me? People have been telling me for the last couple of years about the brisket. I get here and it's all kinds of jerky. Uhh did yall somehow fail to mention that I could get turkey jerky too? WTF. Uh how about the glazed cashews and pecans?? Why didn't y'all say it got all kinds of other swag? Hmmmm so no one is gonna mention the nearly fifty or more gas pumps? I'm seriously wondering why there are so many QT and RaceTracs within a few minutes drive but the nearest Buc-ees is an hour away? Seriously, who's gonna support my $30/lb turkey jerky habit I've developed after my first visit??
google avatar

Lynndel F.

Yelp
If you're not a Buc-ee's fan, you will be!! Make sure to stop when you spot a Buc-ee's billboard sign. Buc-ee's is not just any ordinary pit stop, it's a must stop. With over 50+ bathrooms and 100+ gas pumps, you'll never have to wait long in line. Plus, they welcome dogs and even have a dog park for you to take a stroll with your furry friend. Surprisingly, their gas station food, according to my husband, serves some pretty delicious brisket and deli jerky. However, it would be great if they offered plant-based food options as well. Additionally, you'll find a wide range of shopping opportunities, from home decor to clothing, even Buc-ee's clothing. Don't forget to check out the sign with job information if you're interested!
google avatar

Zac G.

Yelp
We have witnessed this place grow from a plot of land to the Disney Land of gas stations and finally had time to stop and check it out and it did not disappoint. Plenty of food options including a ton of BBQ style options that are made fresh. Normal gas station type food and drink as well in case a hot meal isn't something you want or need. Basically has a store in it as well with Buc-ee's merch as well as name brand things. Traffic is always chaotic here but if you just know that's how it will be there are no down sides to stopping at Buc-ee's.

Yelp
I'm not one to review every gas station I've been to - but I am making an exception for Bu-cee's - and in particular, this location. I can't count how many times I have been to Buc-ee's since I found out where it was and how convenient it was for my driving commute to and from Florida along I-75. Gas is probably the cheapest at this location that you'll find (without being a super sketch gas station) on I-75. But if you're a Tesla, they have tons of Tesla chargers here now that are super convenient. For the pups - while the interior is not dog friendly, there is plenty of green grass areas designated for your pup and dog waste disposal bins. Cleanest bathrooms along I-75, hands down. On weekends, it can get super busy but even the lines to the women's restroom moves quickly because there are so many stalls. And if you come on weekends, Buc-ee the beaver might actually make an appearance for photo ops. I love the bakery the best - chewy chocolate cookies come in clear bags of 8?, and sausage cheese jalapeño kolaches (make sure to have them heat up for you unless you're in a rush). They also have tacos/burritos by the bakery that are solid but definitely have some alka seltzer or Tums on hand because it can get pretty greasy and heavy. Snacks wise - I usually go for the jalapeño cheese puffs - although they seem to have gotten a little saltier over the years. Chocolates and beaver nuggets you also can't go wrong with (they also have some fudge covered beaver nuggets that are PRO TIP WORTH IT). And when they say the spicy beef jerky is "spicy" it is ACTUALLY spicy so be warned. They also have a cheese/sausage cup that I love to share with my pup (only the cheese for her lol). And of course. You've gotta try the chopped brisket at least once. Watch them chop & grab a hot sandwich. Not super cheap but the brisket is solid (when fresh). I've tried a few other sandwiches which I found to be disappointing, so don't. Finally - if you see an adult hoodie that is ACTUALLY wearable/cute, BUY IT because they're always sold out when I try to buy! Can you tell how much I love Buc-ee's? I'm heading back down south to Florida next month and will be stopping through for sure!

Yelp
Ok I am sick of going in this place and every other location has the food center section off for repairs or renovation. Then they cut the menu items down to minimum After I drove miles to be there GTH
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
For any long road trip, this is our stop. For clean bathrooms, fuel, snacks, drinks, and a great place to stretch your legs and walk around a few minutes. I don't bring my pets, but it's also pet-friendly. And there's always a few Pokemon stop and at least one gym for those that need their Pokemon Go fix. (Latest visit before this review was 11-24-24, and I'll be there twice again in the next few days.)
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
I love Buc-ee's. I love the food, the drinks, the wall of jerky, the drinks, and even the commercialization of a smiling cartoon beaver, but... This Buc-ee's sucks. The only Buc-ee's I've ever seen with a dirty bathroom. Long lines and empty registers. Dry brisket. Do yourself a favor and keep driving to the next billboard...
google avatar

Yelp
Now I can find Buc-ee's in Georgia. Our trip to Atlanta, we found it near I -75 exit and stop by near Macon. This store is not as big as St. Augustin FL Buc-ee. But it has all the characteristics of the pit stop. They have a lot of pump stations that you wouldn't find it full. After the gasoline fill up, I would suggest visit their store. Definitely try their freshly prepared brisket. It is delicious. The drink is super affordable and many choices. Their bakery also very popular. Take a few photos with their beaver mascot. Shop their convenience store. Gas is good price here.
google avatar

Chantel C.

Yelp
As a Texan, I had to check out Buc-ee's. I wanted to see if it was like it's back home. There were so many people there it was insane. I'm used to it being busy, but wow, Georgia showed up and showed out. It was similar to the one back home bit this one had ahopong carts and an actual Buc-ee's mascot who will take photos with you. I enjoyed my trip, and I liked how this location tailored to the state with Georgia shirts.

Yelp
Buccees is a travel destination. Cheaper fuel prices! Great soda fountain prices! And OCD clean restrooms. It's a place to get out, stretch for a while, and find things you never even knew you wanted. From clothing to home decor, bakery to pit bar-b-q these have it all. Food can get a little pricey but overall a worth while stop. Sweet tooth? Try the Beaver Nuggets, fresh fudge, cookies or pudding. Like Jerky? There is a whole wall of dozens of flavor selections for you. Again, something for pretty much everyone.

Yelp
Nice place to come for a break. however if you come during the middle of the day it is extremely busy you will be waiting for some time. be prepared for than the nickel and dime you for everything. The sandwiches are good but I feel that they are way over priced $15-$20 for one sandwich is a bit too much. They even make you pay for each individual creamer for your coffee. The way the store set up it reminds me of a giant Cracker Barrel without the tasteless food. The price is however kept clean and they have plenty of restrooms available.

Yelp
I just wanted to give love for this awesome place and chain. I believe the first location I ever went to was around Katy, TX somewhere, several years ago. I have only been to this location once a while back on the way to Florida, but it was just as good as the one in Texas with lots of options for all. Tons of parking, pristine bathrooms with no waits, and tons of great snacks and goodies for the road or a meal. I got jerky, a variety of fudge, a brisket sandwich, a jalapeño cheddar sausage kolache, some drinks, some peach jam, and a big Bucc-ee's sticker which was sadly lost in a wreck. Everything was fresh and tasty. All the crew members were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping at this Bucc-ee's on your way to or from Florida or if you're just in the area. There is something for everyone for sure.

Yelp
This was a last minute stop on the way home. We were hungry, needed gas and a quick bathroom break. We had never been to Buc-ees and were surprised at how large the store is. They have everything you could possibly want o snack on, drink or buy. The hot food smelled amazing, there were so many options for candy, cold drinks and jerky. We bought brisket and chicken sandwiches and both were huge and flavorful. The jerky was very good And the bathrooms were clean It is like a Walmart on a Black Friday, which was a bit overwhelming. However, there was plenty of parking and it was a nice pit stop along the way.

Yelp
Something to look forward to on the drive to/from Florida. Buc-ee's will have everything you need: snacks, drinks, food, gifts, gas, and a clean restroom. My favorites: the chopped brisket sandwich, bohemian garlic jerkey, piña colada soda, and the fudge. Just pack your patience if you visit during a holiday travel time. Lines can be long and despite having plentiful gas pumps and restrooms there will inevitably be a line for both.

Yelp
Buc-ees has it all. This one sits in the middle of my parent's hometowns that is near Interstate 75 in South Georgia. I have been dreaming of this store for years after watching many you tube videos about it. It surpassed my expectations. This place is extremely big, clean, lively, neat, and overwhelming. I had to narrow my focus to what I wanted to maintain my sanity. One could easily spend hours making up your mind on what you wanted. So much great stuff everywhere.9 So I got a big bean Barrito, one Cinnamon roll, Italian sandwich, water, and a Georgia refrigerator magnet. Everything was fresh, very tasty, and amazing. The only thing that disappointed was the Cinnamon roll - the icing overwhelmed everything else, didn't taste any Cinnamon at all. The place is really popular, people were everywhere. The bathrooms were extremely clean and had many toilets in them. Can't wait to come back and explore more things. I do wish they were closer to big cities. They definitely got the winning formula to draw the masses, including me.

Yelp
Was on the way to a family fun day (road trip) in Atlanta with relatives today and was asked about this establishment, which I wasn't familiar with at all! My cousin mentioned that it was an "experience." After getting gas, we pulled up in the parking lot, which was packed by the way. Boy, was my cousin right about the experience. I was overwhelmed two minutes in! LOL! This store has everything! Plus, the restrooms are pristine, which is a big plus for me. There was food galore, but we simply wanted to pick up a few light items. I grabbed a mixed berry parfait, a cup of pecan/cranberry chicken salad (which was delish), and a cup of fruit. Though I usually look at dates (expiration) on food containers, it didn't even cross my mind to do so this time. Later when I opened my fruit, I paid attention to the label, which was pretty much the wrong label, with a past due expiration date of June 11 (today is July 5). Not sure how that happened, but for this little mishap, I would have given this place 5 stars! I will now be on the hunt for Buc-ee's during subsequent road trips! Side note, the kiddies will love taking photos with "Buc-ee!"

Yelp
Although the parking lot, gas pumps, store and restrooms were crazy busy, everything is clean and well staffed. The women's restroom had a lovely attendant which helped the line move quickly. I did discover the one thing Buccees does not sell - hot chocolate.

Yelp
Insanely busy. I guess if you have the curiosity, I bet you should go check it out and then you will be overwhelmed. It's like makes Vegas with Disneyland . I already saw one on my drive across America nine years ago. I wasn't impressed.

Yelp
This place amazes me every time I'm in one. They have everything and I would come here even if I was not just driving by and needing a break. Had Thanksgiving here this year with BBQ turkey sandwiches. They have better selections of everything than you can get most places - Jersey, nuts, bbq, ice, whatever. Prices are fair, bathrooms are big and clean. I am a total fan, and the fact that they are known for paying their employees fairly is just one more plus!

Yelp
Finally got to see what the hype was about . It is a typical gas station tho I was very excited to be there. The bathroom attendant was nice & it was very clean inside . It was a bit overwhelming with the amount of people there even for it to be 10am. I didn't even get to check out everything bc my anxiety took over lol . I was able to grab some pickled veggies , a brisket sandwich, & some pecans . Everything was delicious , especially those pecans and brisket
