Guy Fieri Debuts His Delivery-Only Restaurant Flavortown in Franklin | Eater Nashville

"At 1722 Galleria Blvd in Franklin, I saw that the Cool Springs Buca di Beppo appears to be hosting the Flavortown ghost kitchen; while places like Buca di Beppo are hardly independent restaurants, using its kitchen for the delivery concept presumably helps keep some members of the service industry employed during a precarious time for restaurant work." - Delia Jo Ramsey

The food was great as always. You can’t go wrong here! The service was good but average. But since when does an Italian restaurant run out of wine, like Pinot Grigio? Also, know what wines should be refrigerated/kept cool and which ones not. I had to ask for a chiller for the bottle of white wine. Here’s what I got…. Are we losing our luster a bit?

Google
We were celebrating our Granddaughter on her 14th birthday. Our waiter Austin was absolutely wonderfu!!! And the food was delicious and the portions were huge! The dishes are served family style, which is portions come out like small is big enough for 2 or 3, and the large is enough to serve 6 people. The taste is absolutely on point. If you haven't eaten their food you are definitely missing out.

🍝 Sometimes I enjoy a microwaved meal… but not at a restaurant. If you’re the kind of person that finds the taste of a TV dinner delicious, then you would love to eat here! 👨🏻‍🍳 The staff is fantastic, very friendly and attentive, but you can tell the food is not fresh. 🗑️ Also, the portions are incredibly large so be sure to come with a lot of people or you’re going to throw things out. ✅ Overall, the experience was fine and the decor was entertaining, but the food was extremely underwhelming. My recommendation would be to make smaller, fresher portion sizes.

This was my first time here and it was a PHENOMENAL experience! Our waitress Erica was excellent and knowledgeable and so very sweet. We even got a tour of the cool rooms available to reserve. We ate in the wine room but will for sure be reserving the kitchen table next time! Also, when they say a small portion feeds 3 people, believe them! Massive portions and delicious food. The tiramisu is to die for!

We went here on Christmas Eve hoping to start a new family tradition. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We had reservations for 7:30 PM and were not seated until 9:15 PM. During that entire time, dozens of families were standing around with no communication, no updates, and no apparent concern from the hostess, who seemed completely unbothered by the chaos. What made it more frustrating was that there were open tables throughout the restaurant, yet there was zero coordination or effort to move people along or find solutions. Once we were finally seated, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever of the ordeal we’d just been through. The waitress made no mention of the delay and gave off the impression that she was simply ready to go home. A manager was nowhere to be found, at least not one who took ownership of the situation or tried to make things right. Christmas Eve is a busy night. I get that. But this wasn’t about volume; it was about poor organization, lack of leadership, and total indifference to guests who had planned their evening around a reservation. We genuinely wanted this to become a Christmas Eve tradition, but after this experience, we won’t be back. Disappointing, especially for a night that’s supposed to feel special.

Bridget S.

Google
Beware when you order pick up catering orders over the holidays. Despite ordering days in advance and pre-paying for a large order for a Christmas Eve family celebration, the restaurant was in complete chaos. People had been waiting for over 3 hours to pick up their to go orders. There were probably close to 50 people waiting in the front entrance area for pick up orders as well as for dinner reservations which were also extremely delayed. Management was literally in the kitchen preparing food. It took 20 minutes to speak with a manager. Logistically they should not have accepted the volume of orders and reservations that they did so families could have made other arrangements. Eventually we were able to pick up our order which was 30 minutes late. Other families orders were not processed at all. They left with no food.

Google
We had a great time the food was excellent staff was very nice and helpful definitely would recommend it. The even have a table in the kitchen where you can eat to get the best experience. We will definitely come baby. The portions are huge. Fun for everyone. Overall one of the best Italian restaurants out there.

Google
Great restaurant! Our server Justin was outstanding!! He gave us excellent service! We had a chance to eat in the kitchen and see how all of the food was made. The kitchen manager and servers even showed my wife and I different food dishes!!mmmmm! Also the kitchen was very nice and clean!!Now that's an kitchen experience you have to try!!!!!

Yelp
Visited November 15, 2025. I was craving Italian and decided on Buca for dinner after a day at the mall. It's been over a decade since I've been here, and the interior was completely unrecognizable; I'm not sure if it's been renovated or if my memory is just fuzzy. Service was okay: the staff were friendly but a bit inattentive. The food, however, was great. To my surprise, the prices were steep, but the portions are massive - easily enough to feed four adults. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend coming alone unless you're ready to bring home leftovers for the next few meals. While I appreciate the family-style concept, I wouldn't mind slightly smaller portions at lower prices so I could try more dishes. The quality was excellent, but the likelihood of me returning is about 50/50 since I usually dine solo or with just one other person. That said, I definitely recommend it for groups of 4-5+, and I'd gladly come back in that scenario. Tiramisu: 10/10 Chicken Carbonara: 9/10 Brussels: 10/10

Yelp
We love their salads, lasagna and garlic cheeses bread. It's a fun place to go to with your family. Our kids love it. The ambiance is old school Italian, I know it's a chain but their food is nostalgic for me & reminds me of home. The service has always been good. We always had waiters that were attentive and kind. This has been our go to dinner spot when we want to relax and have fun with the kids.

Yelp
While spending a weekend in Franklin, we felt comfortable going to Buca, since the one in Huntington Beach, CA is great. But here in Franklin, we had a very unusual server, Parker. He told us the strangest stories about his family, and him owning so much property he didn't have to work at Buca, he was an electrician during the day and was well off. I told him we were visiting from California, and celebrating my friend's birthday while we were here. He said he'll bring her a birthday dessert for sure. He was very slow and it took him a long time to bring our bottle of wine and food orders. He was the one who talked us into a bottle of Cabernet wine (Martini) that was $36 one the menu. We agreed and told him to bring it. But, he came back and said they were out of it, but we could have another bottle of wine, Decoy for the same price $36. The food was nothing exceptional, the broccoli we both left over it was too hard to eat, and we were disappointed, since in CA we were used to the food tasting so much better. When we got the bill, he charged us $50 for the bottle of Decoy wine. We reached out to him and reminded him he talked us into the wine, and said it would be the same price as the Martini for $36. He then had a massive meltdown, and became aggressive, and said "I'll get the Manager" you could talk to her, and we don't give birthday desserts anymore! The Manager did come over, and she was a very kind angel, and wanted to make everything right. She was trying to figure out how she could make a resolution out of this bad situation, and would bring a BD dessert, and knock off the dinners, and just charge us for the $50 bottle of Decoy wine. We were so discussed, I gave her my credit card, and she said she'd bring a dessert, but we just left! What a crazy server Parker was, he ruined the evening with his lies and strange behavior and talking obsessively, it was a nightmare! Now I see why they have such bad reviews.

Yelp
To avoid the mess and planning issues we decided to eat out for Thanksgiving Dinner. Buca di Beppo has a great family-style dinner. I made reservations and even changed them once with the helpful staff. We were seated within five minutes of our reservation. The food was great and the service was also wonderful. Very pleasant experience with an exceptional staff who made the holiday feel special.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Very pricey, however, the food portion is a lot since they do it traditional Italian style- family servings. I came with my sister and the regular portion can feed up to 3 people vs the big Buca can feed up to 5-6 people. We ordered an appetizer: Brussel sprouts with prosciutto and our entreé: Chicken Carbonara (regular portion). Soooooo much food. Decided to get dessert as well: tiramisu (a big portion). The food was amazing and I would come back for sure but with more people .

Yelp
Atmosphere couldn't get better for an Italian restaurant. Old school Italian mobster vibes. Family style so big portions which I love. I got the cuatro dish which came with stuffed shells, cheese lasagna and 2 chicken wraps. Tasted like authentic Italian. Red sauce was amazing.
google avatar

Reeta B.

Yelp
I ordered food for take out and wow are the portions big! I ordered two large portions for my family of 6 and we had more than enough food for all of us for dinner and enough leftovers for at least a couple of other meals. Unfortunately, we did have a little miscommunication with ordering since I ordered the food on the phone. One of the dishes I thought I was ordering is not what I ended up getting. I thought I ordered the Penne Basilica and ended up with the Penne San Remo. While I was a little disappointed that I didn't get the dish I was looking forward to, luckily the one I did get was still pretty good. I also ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Overall, not my favorite for Italian food, but a good average. Service was also so kind and helpful while I was there to pick up my take out order. Big tip also is that they have stopped taking certain kinds of gift cards. I luckily did get a little bit of a discount for this which was very kind of them to do.

Yelp
Listen, Buca is not and never will be the same as a local family-owned Italian restaurant, so you have to make sure you don't compare it to something that will almost always be better. However, when looked at as a chain Italian restaurant, it's rather good and makes for an enjoyable meal. We've dined at this particular occasion several times over the past few years and we've never had a bad meal. The dishes come family style, so make sure that you're not ordering one entree per person or you will be taking home food for a week. The food is pretty good though and we particularly like their baked rigatoni. The house wine is surprisingly nice and the prices are not terribly crazy. It's also fun to take in the full kitsch that is their design aesthetic and it's a solid dinner overall! Pro tip: Costco sells discounted gift cards and you can usually get 20% off, which is a great deal.

Yelp
We hadn't been to Buca in years. What a disappointment!!!!! We used to go all the time and get the Chicken Limone and it was fantastic. We had it yesterday and I couldn't believe how bad it was compared to what it used to be. It had NO flavor, even the texture was different. It is a complete rip off at $32 for 4 pieces of low quality chicken. It used to come with noodles, not anymore. Don't waste your time here it's not worth the high cost. I would give it no stars except that the service was pretty decent.

Yelp
Food was so delicious, service was amazing and the ambiance was lovely and relaxing !!! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places for a reason! Always great food and phenomenal service. I've never had a bad experience here. It is my go to place for celebrations

Patricia R.

Yelp
Delicious food, gracious service, fun atmosphere. I recommend this place, especially for families and large gatherings. Good for any size gathering, but they shine in their service to groups.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
For a chain, I really enjoyed it! It had very family/homey decor. Loved the service! The waiter was excellent. The food was delicious. Affordable prices as well! The house wine was solid too!
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
Enough food to share, large groups are definitely encouraged! Daniel, our server was amazing constantly coming to the table asking what else can I get for you? I call that top notch. Definitely get the calamari and mozzarella sticks. We had fettuccine Alfredo chicken Parmesan stuff shells Caesar salad. It was 12 of us and we still had food left over great place. Definitely encourage you to come and bring a large family.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
Cool environment. Love the photos and ads on the wall. The salad was amazing but the lasagna was dry. Our server Todd was awesome.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
Perfect for a family get-together of a variety of ages. Family-style serving of dishes of large portions. This allows everyone to try different dishes and get plenty of their favorite dish. We enjoyed the calamari -(crisp and not greasy). The pasta dishes were tasty. The salad is one of our favorites-the dressing is not overly vinegary or oily. Desserts are large and yummy. The chocolate brownie is great.

Patti S.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Service was sub-par (that's being nice, lol). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME. We wish there'd been a warning like this (for us) before we spent our time & money here.

Yelp
Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant has a great selection of quality Italian food that is delicious and flavorful. I really like the level of customer service here and the atmosphere that they have created. Good experience every time I have been here.

Elle D.

Yelp
Terrible, expensive, misleading food. Don't trust the pics, the food looks nothing like the pictures. The portion says: serves 3, not even close, maybe 3 children. The lasagna had big, fat, odd tasting noodles, very little cheese, and bland. Why was there so little ricotta and mozzarella? This tasted like a freezer lasagna you buy from the grocery store. We paid almost $40 for what was supposed to feed 3 people. I don't eat a lot of food at once, and this piece fed 2 small people. I was so dissapointed and want my $40 back!!! Will never eat here again. I am unsure how this place stays in business with food like this. I hate to write a scathing review, but I just blew $40 on some noodles!

Jason B.

Yelp
had an early dinner around 5 PM on Friday after picking up my son from the airport. It had been years since I last visited Bucca, and I was surprised to find it surprisingly slow for a restaurant that used to be bustling. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and some water, and the drinks arrived without issue. After placing our food order--spaghetti and meatballs for me and penne alla vodka for my son--the server informed us that the kitchen was still working on the meatballs. While we waited, we browsed the menu, which was a bit overwhelming due to the enormous portion sizes. Eventually, we decided to try the lasagna, which turned out to be a mistake. When the food arrived, it was a massive log of lasagna placed on the table. The server cautioned us that the plate would be hot, and while the plate was indeed hot, the lasagna was cool in the center. It didn't taste fresh at all; it felt like we were eating something that had been pulled from the walk-in fridge. Having worked in a restaurant myself, I understand that reheating food is common practice, but it's essential that it's heated thoroughly and presented in a way that doesn't reveal its reheated state. Unfortunately, the server never returned to check on us so we had to try to share my son's pasta (which was good). Bucca used to be a fantastic place to dine, but unfortunately, like many restaurants, it seems to be losing its touch. Mgr. remove the lasagna, but our experience is such that we won't be returning to Bucca anymore.

Yelp
My husband and I came in on our 33 year anniversary.. food was great but it took a while for a server to come to our table. Never ask if we wanted another drink. My salad came out the same time as my entree. Celebrating 33 years of marriage and they knew I figured they would offer at least free dessert

Mark G.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this restaurant is classic and the Chicken Carbonara is delicious. It's a must try.

Amanda F.

Yelp
Picked up a to go order tonight and when I checked the order, it was the wrong entree. But it was my mistake, I had clicked the wrong item. I told the manager my mistake and asked for the entree I intended to select and that I would pay for both entrees, as it was my mistake. She pleasantly said she would replace it at no charge. Very gracious! The meal was delicious...garlic bread, antipasti salad, manicotti, chicken parm.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Enjoyed our 14th anniversary dinner at this wonderful Italian place!! Stop in and see our amazing server, Logan, and you'll be happy you did! It's family style here and the portions are amazing! This spaghetti and meatballs serves 5. Even though it was just my wife and I, I ordered the large so I will have plenty of leftovers to take home! Buca knows how to do things the Italian way...lots of food and you never go home hungry!
google avatar

Brittan G.

Yelp
I always have great service and a delicious meal when I come here! The food is great for multiple people to share!

Yelp
Great restaurant we love the family style servings . Great for big groups also the Waitstaff is always friendly and helpful . The food is prepared fresh and the brownie Sunday is amazing
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
this is a fun, large-portion family syle restaurant that has delivered great service 2 out of 2 times, my only complaint is the drink service. The first time the bar tender did not know how to make a Lynchburg lemonade but listened to me and made the perfect drink (best ever). 2nd trip they were out of triple sec and sprite.... how do you run out of sprite!!! so the bar tender brought it without the ingredients knowing it was wrong and still charged me like $12 bucks for it. Had a huge meal of chicken parm, the spicy shrimp appetizers and a large brownie sunday that the whole table dug in to.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
$109.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me????? Never...ever again. I am beside myself with disappointment over such a ridiculously small portion. Should be able to feed my family of 5 for that price, even with bidenflation. I used to love going to Bucca's, but this??? No. Thought maybe I would have a lunch or two later this week....NOPE! Tasted good... we knew it would.
google avatar

Dena M.

Yelp
Justin was an amazing server!! The ambiance was fun!! I loved all the decor and little rooms. The food is not too notch Italian food, but good enough.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Love the food, service, and atmosphere! Such a wonderful place for a family meal. It's such a cute and kitschy place.

Terri K.

Yelp
Meatballs are the Best Like the varied style portions but it's getting too expensive to order for 2 ie salad can only be ordered in large portions ( except at lunch ) also sauce and some meals are often too salty However it's Great for Larger group's
google avatar

Cindy B.

Yelp
Called to see if there was availability and they said there was no wait. It was evident why once we were seated. By the way my son is a big guy tall and built like a linebacker. With approximately 90% of the tables free they sandwiched us at a small table right between one family of large people and on the other side a couple with a very large man. We all had to get up if anyone needed to get out. This after waiting 10 mins for the hostess to " find a table ". Looked at the menu and prices seemed way off from what we remember from going before. No pasta no came with the entrees and you couldn't order a "side" of pasta. You had to order a pasta entree. $30 for spaghetti with meat sauce. $25 for 3 yes 3 meatballs and then another $30 for chicken parm. This is a chain restaurant folks. Not fresh prepared true Italian. Come on. Dirty bathrooms , The server was pleasant that's all i can say.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I'm pretty disappointed with the experience at this location. We made a reservation and arrived on time, but waited in the lobby for 10 min for the host to assist us (there was no one else in the lobby but us). We were finally sat and we waited for at least 10 min for our server to acknowledge us and take our drink and food order. Our table had dried marinara sauce all over it. Our server was barely paying attention, and ended up putting our order in wrong. He brought out a basket of bread, but the wicker basket had no paper lining, so there was fresh bread in a very dirty basket, which was rather off putting. When our food came out, again the order was wrong, so it took more time for it to be corrected. There was barely any sauce on one pasta dish so we asked for a small side of sauce. We waited and waited, and ended up just eating our dish without because it had gotten cold in the time we sat there. By the time he brought out the sauce we were done and ready to leave and asked for the check. He delivered our check wrong, still with food items on it we had not ordered, and had to wait for him to correct it. I went the entire meal without him refilling my drink and he only offered to refill when we paid. The whole night it seemed like our server had slurred speech, and we even witnessed him and other staff throw back what appeared to be shots on the server line. I'm not offended by language in every day life, but I do expect professionalism in the workplace. We continued to hear staff swear on the server line, which really gives the whole franchise a bad look. Considering we paid about $100, we were incredibly disappointed and frustrated to have paid that much money for such a poor experience.

Yelp
Food was horrible such a rip off ambiance so morally offensive our waiter was so mean I would so tell anybody never to go there again I hated it so much do not go there ever AGAIN ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Yelp
If you love eating pasta with friends, you need to come here and bring an appetite. They have large portions. I went for a birthday celebration. I ate only enough to have room for dessert. I tried all the desserts pictured. The Irish Crème was my favorite out of all the desserts, not too sweet. I really enjoyed the salad as well ^^ would come here again, as long as someone else is paying heheh

Gerald N.

Yelp
Been here several times. Took a large group for dinner on 12/26/2023. Absolutely perfect visit. Food was magnificent. The chicken parmigiana was fabulous and everyone loved all the dishes we ordered. We had outstanding service. A+ work at this restaurant. Can't wait to go back.

Julie W.

Yelp
Such a trip back in time for us. Miss having one in Wisconsin. Greetings and service were welcoming, courteous and efficient. Food brought back taste memories immediately. As always loved the decor and music!!

Idontknow W.

Yelp
Took my mom here for mother's day yesterday, got large portions of Lasagna, Chicken Carbonara, Spaghetti with meatballs, fried mozzarella and chopped salad. Everything was magnificent and we had enough for all of us to take home for at least 2 days. Oh, almost forgot we each got a piece of cake, I got a piece of dark chocolate cake and my mom got a piece of italian creme cake I think. They too were magnificent. It was a bit expensive but that's ok, it was totally worth it!
google avatar

Landon W.

Yelp
I want to update this review due to our experience tonight. We were a little rushed and the restaurant was very busy. After we got to our table no one came to serve us. Personally I didn't think we waited all that long but they were super sorry for the wait we did have and they got our food out to us very quick along with offering us a free dessert! Everything tasted great and we were really impressed with their kindness.

David S.

Yelp
Love it or leave it, Joe's basement continues to dish up consistent Italian (if not Italian inspired) fare to fill that grumbling emptiness in your own basement. Pandemic uncertainty can't even stop a place that still feeds you like you're in a best friend's mother's kitchen where Mom is certain you're so thin you've not eaten properly a day in your life and her mission is to resolve that deficiency. These days, no raucous crowds may be there for lunch, but the lunch menu doesn't care. Server count is low, so be patient. Menu options exist for both reasonable portions and fill-you-up entrees that may let you roll out the door rather than walk. The flatbread is excellent. Your mileage will vary, but the eclectic decor of the dining space snags me in its delightful photographic links to Italian roots. Good food brings good times and Beppo's walls seem to enjoy them right along with you. Re-check your pulse if you find yourself unable to feel just a little something for the memory of wrestler Gina Bouza or unable to stare along with Sophia Loren in rapt attention to Jane Mansfield's bits of freedom (before Jane became remembered as a truck bumper, of course.) And don't forget the Tiramisu.

Stacie L.

Yelp
This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants! I LOVE coming here when I'm in the mood for some good Italian food. The portions are very large (serving up to 4 people for a small dish), so there's lots to take home ... and their lunch portions are also a good size. My favorites are the Chopped Antipasto Salad and Baked Rigatoni, but this time I ordered the new Family Meal Deal (Caesar Salad, Penna a la Vodka & Garlic Parm Bread) for a birthday celebration and was not disappointed! There was PLENTY of food for 5 adults! A GREAT bargain! Thank you, Kevin, Todd, Whitney, Courtney, and the rest of the staff at Buca di Beppo for making all of my dining experiences pleasant and memorable!
google avatar

Monica K.

Yelp
So my boyfriend invited me out to Buca di Beppo for dinner. As always, I jumped on Yelp to check the reviews out. At first, I was hesitant about going. We went on a Saturday night around 9pm. The restaurant wasn't packed. We was seated within 5 mins. We was greeted by our waiter Zack. Zack was amazing!! He went over and beyond to make sure we had at a great experience. We enjoyed the trio appetizer. We opted for the calamari, fried mozzarella, and spicy shrimp. We also ordered the Chopped Antipasti. It's now Monday and I've been dreaming of that salad since. We ordered the stuffed shells for our main course. The stuff shells were sooooo good. The spicy sausage had just enough spice to it. I'll be back soon and I hope Zack can wait on us!
google avatar

Scot K.

Yelp
The portions were family style - so extra large. I had the chicken parm and my date had the chicken pasta carbonara. Both was really good and we both got leftovers for a second meal!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Really bad food and service. The waiter made us wait very long and the food was very expensive for what you get. 34 dollars for a bowl of spaghetti.
google avatar

Brian J.

Yelp
Decent Italian food...service was great. Back private room was nice to have. Kinda just what you'd expect. Stay solid!

Mathew D.

Yelp
The new addition is fantastic!! And there are some other additions to the menus also. The chicken saltimboca is back.

Eric P.

Yelp
We have eaten at this Buca many times before, and even introduced others to Buca's generous Italian-style family dining. We've also ordered from Buca a lot since the start of COVID. Our go-to favorite is their calamari appetizer. We usually order two large portions, that's how much we LOVE this dish. Today I ordered our usual two large calamari and two pastas, and shocked to receive SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER PORTIONS. The restaurant insisted this is the correct portion, but how can this small tub of calamari be an appetizer that "feeds 5"? Two of today's large calamari is barely more than one of the old large order tubs. So buyer beware!

Meghin D.

Yelp
Went this past week for our annual ICE trip dinner, food service was very slow. The cooks and chefs must have had an off night, but the customer service definitely made up for it. They originally burnt the mozzarella garlic bread, but it was fixed and comped. We ordered the spicy chicken rigatoni (large) chicken carbonara (large) a small spicy sausage bolognese and a side of spaghetti marinara. We ended up (7 adults eating) having about half the carbonara left, with wine and bees for 3 adults, and soft drinks for the younger ones, the total including tax and tip was $170.00 so we averaged around $25 per person. It definitely isn't a go out to eat every week type restaurant, but for traditions and special occasions, you can't beat the service and food. Be sure to ask for extra sauce on the spicy chicken rigatoni, also if you enjoy the heat, ask for it Nero (extra spicy) it's delightful! They also package up your leftovers in metal containers that are great for rehearing in the oven. PSA: we saw a large lasagna pass by on its way to a different table, no lie it was the size of a newborn baby. Looked absolutely delicious!

Yelp
I'd like to start by thanking whomever made our bruschetta. I don't know who you are, sir or madam, but you're going to have an extra jewel in your crown in heaven. This was a pretty good dining experience. Everything I ate was tasty and fresh. I love that you can order a pasta dish and then get fettuccini alfredo as a side. Pasta upon pasta? Yuuuuup! The bruschetta was....anyway, it's still too soon to talk about it. Let's just say the taste as well as the presentation were impressive. They grill the garlic bread, y'all! With actual garlic, not powder! My breath was humming for an entire 24 hours afterward, and it was WORTH IT. The baked ziti was good. The pasta sauce/ricotta/cheese ratio was well balanced. The fettuccini alfredo sauce was creamy, not watery. It could have used a tablespoon or two more sauce, but I'm greedy. That apple Gorgonzola salad is good, too! The spices on the walnuts wasn't amazing, but it didn't take away from the salad, either. I think it just had Italian dressing on it but that dressing is seasoned RIGHT. The restaurant itself was a little....rundown. It can be a maze getting to your table, depending on where it's located. The decor was classy, funny, inappropriate and confusing all at the same time. Take a minute and look at all the pictures to get what I mean. Some highlights for me were an Italian couple making out under the crotch of a black statue, a little boy elbow-deep in his nose, and a naked woman (understood nudity, not visible nudity) grimacing in bed next to a man's feet right by her head. It certainly made for good dinner conversation. The women's bathroom situation was not at all acceptable. Two of the three stalls had broken locks, and there was no soap in the dispenser for the entire 1-1.5 hrs I was in the restaurant, despite the fact the staff had been alerted that there was no soap. Some areas of the floor felt sunken in when I walked on them, and I think they're using old rugs (dirty and dingy) to cover up some flooring flaws. But the bruschetta though....
