Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Our dinner visit wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Our server was attentive once we had his full attention. He seemed to be running around a lot when we first sat down but was attentive after taking our orders. Expect large family style portions, we ordered basic dishes (chicken Alfredo) which was a bit dry and not as flavorful or creamy as it should be. The salad was delicious and fresh. We paid around $120 for all dishes below plus 4 soda beverages.

So happy that a year later, I have David as my server again! Dude is totally amazing! I come here because the food is always so delicious, my fav being the eggplant parmigiana, & the amazing cannoii’s!!! If you want good Italian for a craving, Bucca’s is the place!

First time here and was seated in the bar area (older, dingy, but had charm). Both of our menus were dirty inside; one was oily, and one was sticky. ;( We (two of us) had the house bread, brussel sprouts and chicken carbonara. The house bread was ok, but would have been better if warm. The chicken carbonara was fine, but had very minimal chicken. The brussel sprouts were very dry and not as flavorful as we're used too (I asked for some balsamic glaze and told no, but offered vinegar). The meal was ok, service to this point was fine as well. However, we went to use a $25 gift card (bill was like $63) and was told they could only give us $15 off because they didn't take those gift cards anymore. To be clear, it was a gift card, not some promotional thing and had Buca di Beppo named on the physical plastic card. Odd, because I thought there were even legalities around gift cards and businesses accepting, etc. I checked the gift card balance using the website on the card and it showed $25. We showed her the balance and that it showed $25. She would still not honor it and made it sound like they were doing us a favor by honoring $15 because "they didnt have too". She did offer us the card back (if we didn't want to accept $15). I expressed my disappointment and said the website should not tell people they have funds if they don't, and there should be disclaimers on the gift card website- something! Even if they stopped taking them for some reason, she could have at least taken off the side dish instead at almost $19, or even offered a piece of cake or dessert to go. Net, net feel cheated and like she didn't care that only $15 of the $25 could be used. Honestly, don't see how shorting us $10 was really worth it, aside from putting a bad taste in our mouth. We still tipped, which we kind of regretted once we thought about it more and how she could have done more to try and make it right. :( Even a piece of cake, really?! I know this is only $15, but it's the principle of not honoring it and the way it was handled. She would have made more money tip wise, if she'd have went out of her way to mot make use feel cheated (because we would have been appreciative). Oh, when we were walking out we heard an argument in the kitchen area. Right before that the female server rushed to the kitchen after hearing there were problems. People were getting loud....very awkward. We couldn't get out fast enough between that and not honoring our gift card. Disappointing!!

Restaurant atmosphere was fun … food was alright. Family size portions for sure . To much food for me

I was impressed with my first visit to Buca di Beppo. I was there on a weekday for lunch right at opening time. The hostess and server were both pleasant, courteous and professional. There were other guests enjoying an afternoon meal but the restaurant was not crowded. I enjoyed viewing the different rooms and could imagine the scene of a crowded restaurant in years past. I had the spaghetti with large meatball. Delicious and priced right. I'll definitely be back.

It was incredible how big the dishes were. Although the menu specifically explains that they are meant to be shared, everyone in my party ordered a different dish, so in the end we had so much leftovers. In any case, the food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was great too.

We decided to have Italian on new year's eve! Ordered at 5pm thru Slice bc we knew it'll be busy. Shocked Order was ready in 22 min. Told hubby to make sure we get all the orders. Dish was labeled but inside the tray was a diff dish🤣 plus we were missing an order! Hubby went back to fetch missing dishes, they were waiting on the counter. I guess it's expected bc they had lots of orders🤔 🤔 Disappointed on their Alfredo noodles. It was very bland so had to fix it! I'm a foodie, chef and caterer! I'm being generous for the 3 stars! Lol My fave was the Antipasti.

Came in to celebrate my buddy’s birthday. I’ve never been here, but have heard a lot about their great service and family style dining. They were understaffed but Mandie helped entertain us. We weren’t in a rush so we enjoyed the spacing. She was great at checking on us, asking about cocktail refills, and even clearing plates between courses. The food was great, big portions, and the service was very warm. I think Mandie can cheer up the grumpiest person in the world. I’m glad we chose this place to celebrate the birthday.

I'm not Italian, but I understand good food, great service, and awesome vibes! When you come to this location, come find David! Best server in the Summerlin area. Capiche? GRATSI !!!

Late review - we stopped in for dinner after a school function. We were greeted with an Italian greeting and seated right away. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer. I really loved that the meatballs were extremely tasty and enjoyed the whipped ricotta cheese. The apple Gorgonzola salad is a must have every visit. The bread was fresh and the chicken Alfredo was a bit overcooked. Only bad thing was that the dishes could have been cleaned better. Will be back

We brought in a party of 18 to celebrate our son's college graduation and another son's birthday. The reservation had been made over a week in advance, so they knew we were coming. The food was very good, with lots of choices. Our issue was with the service. We felt bad that the bartender was also having to be our server. There were 3 other large parties at the same time and it just seemed like the restaurant wasn't prepared staff-wise. As a result, food came out very slowly, drinks took forever to be refilled, and the dirty dishes weren't cleared - we stacked them to try and help but they did sit. One of our party offered to go to the bar and bring back pitchers of soda to do refills...and the server/bartender declined that offer - so people had to wait for him to have time to do refills. The 2 stars are for the food (except the one tiramisu that had a hair on it and had to be replaced) and because I felt sorry for the bartender who got stuck working way out of his comfort zone. Whoever writes the schedule and adjusts staffing gets 0 stars - you definitely failed on this one.

Walking in ... this place didn't smell that great . Sitting down the smell never went away . The utensils and plate already on the table weren't that clean , asked for another set of plates ... also not that clean . Cocktails terrible but made better the second round . Our waitress was very sweet and very pretty . The Caesar salad was soggy and bland. Chickenparm sauce taste like jarred sauce and the penne all vodka was over peppered and the noodles over done as well . Hadn't been in years and wouldn't come back after today .

Service was definitely outstanding during this visit. I was greeted almost immediately after being seated, ordered my beverage and it was dropped off promptly along with some hot and fresh bread. I ordered a Caesar salad and Chicken Limon. The salad was brought about 5 minutes later, as I was finishing my salad my food was being dropped off at the table. I was completely surprised how fast the service was and it was a little before noon when I decided to dine in. The chicken limon was hot and fresh and tasted great I definitely recommend and will order again the next time I come to visit and dine in. As always when you dine in at Buca Di Beppo you feel at home and are treated like you are part of the family. From the decor to the service this was a good place to go for a good home style meal.

Honestly it was so so slow because there was no staff. The hostess ended up being our server to a party of 16 (which we had made a reservation for a week in advance). So drinks took forever, appetizers weren't that hot when they came out. Salad dressing was swapped from the one we really liked. This place was also $500+ for the meal... which is SUPER expensive for just pasta and some chicken dishes. Salad was $42 and $40 for calamari which was a very small portion. Children's $8 mac and cheese was delicious but not worth going here for.

Usually, we come here only for the Gorgonzola apple salad and the dressing, the shallot dressing *drool* so we called ordered for pick up the salad. Got home and it had ZERO GORGONZOLA and lime Italian dressing. So we did not get what we paid for which was not cool, considering this is one of our favorite salads, and Gorgonzola is right in the title. Either the person made it intentionally wrong because like I said, it says Gorgonzola in the title or the person was new if they didn't know what Gorgonzola was they could've asked either way that was a big part of the salad that was missing and that's not cool. I didn't end up eating the salad because like I said a big piece is missing the part that actually made it and the dressing the dressing they gave us look like some bottle Italian like craft so it's still sitting in the fridge right now we're not gonna eat it. I give it 3 stars bec the rest of the salad was correct again minus the dressing and no Gorgonzola

*Holiday Catering Order* Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was given the last minute task of hosting 10 people at my house for Thanksgiving dinner. After an online search for Traditional Thanksgiving meals, I found Buca di Beppo's catering package. Luckily, it wasn't too late to place my order (less than 2 days before Thanksgiving). For $250, this is what was included: * Sliced White Meat Turkey * Homestyle Gravy * Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes * Spicy Italian Sausage Stuffing * Green beans * Cranberry Sauce * (2) Pumpkin Pies * (2) bags of bread I had baked a Gooey Butter Cake the night before, so no one touched the pumpkin pie. Other than that, everything was delicious. The pick-up process was a little disorganized. No one was at the designated table in the parking lot, so we had to go in and ask for help. One thing they need to think about is proper food storage packaging for items that tend to leak out -- some of the turkey broth spilled in my car. Overall: 4-stars. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely consider using their catering service again. My husband and I typically cook from scratch for Thanksgiving, but what started as an unexpected inconvenience turned into a blessing in disguise. It was actually really nice to relax and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner without the stress of cooking an entire meal.

Food was good and they have a family special right now. Feeds 3-4 people for $49.99. Service was fast and friendly as well.

The food was WONDERFUL!! Our waiter, David, was outstanding! The atmosphere was nice and quiet! It looks like you're in Italy! I do recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty Italian meal! Be aware, the portions are very LARGE! Prepare to get a to-go bag!!! Ask for David, the waiter!!

We went in on a Saturday about 2:OO PM. The server came over and said you can't order from the back of the menu. That coupon you have isn't a good deal We ordered a pizza and were told by the server it would be enough for 2-3 people. It was like a personal pan pizza. We waited for about 30 minutes and the server said we burnt your pizza. Consequently, we had to wait at least another 15 minutes to get the second one. That one was undercooked. We had to keep asking for drink refills. The manager never approached our table the entire time. When we left, there was no one at the desk.

Fantastic menu with even better tastes of Italian cuisine. Meat balls and Brussel sprouts are delicious. Chicken Marsala was mouthwatering. Excellent Italian dinner and the best in Las Vegas. Thank you David for being the perfect server!

I can't believe I've never been to a Buca di Beppo before! I loved all of the fun pictures all over the place, and appreciated the warm welcome from the hostess. We were seated right away, and our server moved another chair over from a different table so we wouldn't be squished, which was thoughtful! It was a very casual, relaxed vibe and the service matched that. The food portions are HUGE, enough to serve a hungry adult family of five with plenty leftover! Everything sounded so good we decided to try a few different dishes, and definitely glad we did. The stuffed mushrooms were my favorite, I think I could have eaten an entire plate-full by myself! Definitely a fun way to spend my mama's birthday. Thanks!

It was going to be my first time trying this place unfortunately I was in a time crunch, but there was only one server. I get that it's really tough on one server when there's a couple parties that come at the same time but he had no communication that he was busy or that he was by himself I asked for my food to go and it was just sitting in the back while there's people in there, chilling and talking they could've easily given it or at least help the dude out if they know they're short staff so I decided to cancel my order even though it was ready I get that's not like the best solution, especially since it's a waste of food, but at this point, I was already frustrated with how long I've waited to order, to get my drinks and then to get my food Hire more people or at least have one more server if it's during a slow shift so that they can cover all bases. And on top of that they also got two of my orders wrong, I asked for the meatballs to be on the side but they didn't do that.

Ordered pickup online through the website. There was a discount code posted online but it didn't work for some reason. It was ready and doing pickup was very easy. The spicy rigatoni was great, 5 s but the garlic bread was a bit under toasted and the Gorgonzola apple salad had a strong onion flavor which was odd because there was no onion. Luckily, the strong Gorgonzola cheese overshadowed the onion in some bites. Overall, decent food, somewhere between 3-4 s.

The food quality, amount, and taste is absolutely outstanding. The service is prompt and nice , especially our server David. No complaints. Excellent family restaurant. No pictures we ate it all to fast

We were served by Robert last night, 8/13, for a birthday dinner for a party of seven adults and three children (almost 6, just turned 4, and almost 2). Robert was an excellent server! Thorough, personal, friendly, professional, and hard working for our table in addition to another small party and a large party next to us. All the food was delicious! I particularly really enjoyed the bruschetta, and my kids looooved the fried mozzarella! Not one complaint for the other dishes from the group either - we also ordered chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, fried calamari, chicken marsala, buttered noodles, garlic bread, kids cheese pizza, and marinara noodles. My youngest also has egg, all nuts, and sesame allergies, so we were glad that there were enough kids entree choices to choose from that she would enjoy. I also ordered a Pom Martini (I can't remember the exact name) but it was refreshing and perfectly strong in terms of alcohol amount, and my mom ordered some kind of spritz cocktail. The bar was out of one of the ingredients for her drink but the bartender replaced it with a higher end choice, and did well with that choice because my mom enjoyed her drink! I only took away a star because I found some pictures around the restaurant and even in the bathroom to be a little inappropriate for young eyes to see. Not the worst, but still...not an all around G rating for pictures. Despite that, I would still return even if there is no special occasion! The drinks, food and all the staff here are equally wonderful and still is giving me a "happy family" feeling. My kids enjoyed speaking with one of the chefs as well. My father in law was with them walking around the restaurant while waiting for food so I unfortunately don't know this chefs name, but he was wearing a bright, blue shirt. So thank you everyone at Buca di Beppo, who made our dinner celebration so enjoyable!

Ordered for pickup last night. Even though it was the fourth of July holiday, the service and food were terrific. The small portions are enough for 2-3 people to share. I always love their chopped salad. Tried a new dish which was the Quattro Al Forno and enjoyed that too.

What a great all around experience!! First we had a very large group and was finding it difficult to find a restaurant to accommodate us but Buca Di Beppo on Lake Mead in Las Vegas welcomed us and took awesome care of us right away even with how busy their were. Best service!!! Staff are so helpful and nice!! Super attentive! Love the feel in the restaurant so cozy. And the food OMG so delicious. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff so much for making our family night out so awesome!

Decided to have lunch here today and tried both the linguine alfredo (added shrimp) and spaghetti and meatball off the lunch menu. We also added side salads. Everython was great including the bread which is always addicting. Our server Anthony was great, attentive, friendly and probably one of rhe best we have had at this resturant. Overall, we had a very great experience.

The inside of this place has so much to view! It is very eclectic with lots of nostalgic photographs and memorabilia. The dishes are served in large portions so you can share them with your family. We had the lasagna and ravioli with cheese. I didn't care for the raviolis, the cheese tasted kind of sour to me, but the lasagna was good. We also enjoyed a salad with house dressing. before our meal, and the warm bread was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was happy and quick to tale care of us. We had a great time here.

After a ten year hiatus, I found myself having lunch here! My officemate suggested the Eggplant Parmigiana and it t was delicious. Just right amount of crispy coating, tangy sauce, and cheese. At 1:00pm with hardly anyone in the store, the service was slow. Nice enough server, but pretty much absent. Lost a star.

David was an exceptional waiter! His attentiveness and courteous attitude made my first experience at Buca superb! Thank you for making my experience worthwhile. I will return!

Food was great. The service was not that good. Asked for drinks and 30 minutes passed and ni drinks! Not even water! Got the food and no drinks at all. Ambiance was good. Something you can expect from a franchise restaurant. It's the same all over the place. I'll see how long it takes to get the drinks.

$26.99 for calamari and burnt bread--definitely overpriced! It's clear they didn't put any effort into my order. Totally not worth it!

The servers were excellent, the garlic bread was delicious, the chicken Parm and Marsala was tender. The calamari was a bit spicy but good. I'll go there again.

My wife and I dine here for lunch once or twice a month on the weekends and always have great experience. The service is good and the food is great. Definitely recommend coming here, especially in a big group, but we like that we can bring leftovers and have a couple meals later. We feel it's a great value this way. Especially today, our server David ensured we had a great experience.

My sister's birthday dinner had a huge order, and they all took great care. She definitely misses the linguini and claims but she was still very happy. We will be back.

I came to Buca Di Beppo for lunch as my group and I were craving Italian food. We started off with their house bread, which was delicious itself. My group and I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and the Baked Rigatoni. Both entrees were HUGE and enough to keep us full with leftovers for later. David was an amazing host and server and provided us with great service with a smile. He was very attentive to our table and made sure that we had a great experience. 10/10 would recommend to my friends and would come back for the great hospitality this restaurant has to offer!

Enjoyed a great family style meal here for my Mother-In-Laws birthday this past week. Service was decent, our server was Johnathan (I'm pretty sure that was his name) nice, straight to the point but maybe a little too casual for my in-laws liking. He reached over the ledges a lot to hand us food and condiments, he took our order over the same wall too, it was kinda funny that he didn't want to just walk around and talk to us at the table. Haha wasn't too quick on refills until we asked but I think we are pretty low maintenance where we won't make a big deal of things like this. The food- AMAZING! Stuffed mushrooms were so flavorful! I can be picky and I loved them! The stuffed shells were sooooo good, maybe a new fav! The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious, piping hot and saucy! Just how I like it! Comfortable environment, wasn't busy on a Thursday evening so the food came out quickly and was more than enough. What a good experience for my second time here! It's all about the food quality & quantity here! Yum!

We went in for lunch at 2:00pm. We had a wonderful lunch. The food was plentiful and really good! I loved the pictures on the walls! They added a historic feel to the restaurant. The only thing lacking was the service. It took a while to get the waiter to pay attention to us. It was a if the restaurant was packed and he was the only waiter. There weee 4 tables in the restaurant with people in them! I think if they work out there waiter problem, I would go back!!

Dave gave my kids and myself excellent service. I love the family style dining! Having 6 kids, is made easy because of this. My children enjoyed the spaghetti a lot.

Most of the parking in front of the restaurant is handicapped spaces (about six). For regular parking, it is to the far right of the restaurant. Many of the locations are decorated the same way: many framed pictures on the wall space, many of them celebrities, many of them are fun depictions. It's been a while since we've been here (for dining in), but came here yesterday, sunday, for a takeout order: a free double dark chocolate cake slice (an anniversary freebie that expired today, free with a purchase) and a kid's meal, $7.99, chicken parmesan, which came with pasta, a bread loaf side and a drink, lemonade, not bad, considering everything that came with it. (Our stringbean's able to eat an adult size meal, at times, when it comes to pizza or chicken.) The takeout window is to the far right side, while the hostess is at the left side, when you enter. The clerk was nice. There were a couple of takeout orders besides ours. It seemed to be ready within minutes. The bread was good, I sliced it short ways. It was plain, no herbs. (But I love bread.) The double dark chocolate cake, a very generous size, ideal for sharing, was very good. It wasn't heavy and overly sweet. There was a richness to it but it had a light quality to it, if that makes any sense. I don't like heavy and I don't like super-sweet either (for most baked goods). I love baking so I think that I am a good judge on baked goods.

This place is crazy! For dinner, you can't order a single entree. They only serve entrees that feed 3 or 5 people!! So ridiculous! We had to figure out who wants to share with 2 others! Food was ok. Won't be back!!!

David did an amazing job of providing us with the best possible service, he truly elevated our experience of eating the consistently perfect Italian food here at Buca. The food truly speaks for itself.
