Overall average experience. The place was fairly empty but the service was spotty. Drinks went empty and waited awhile for check, rcpt, etc. The house bread was ok and the house salad was good. The portions are very large but the spaghetti marinara lacked flavor even after adding salt and pepper flakes. The pizza dough and pepperoni were good but the sauce had too much spice or something so just had a weird tangy taste and I wasn't a fan.

One of the last authentic Italian cuisine restaurants in this area.... Quality ingredients great drinks in an atmosphere that put you in Italy. This entree was fantastic... Stuffed with pepperoni meatballs spinach ricotta cheese and mozzarella with perfect crust.

Nighthawk is an amazing server and an asset to your establishment. He is one of the best servers I have ever encounted, he made my Mothers Day special & wonderful. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, due to how busy it was because of the holiday, he actually brought out our food. It is so amazing to see a hands on manager that isn't afraid to get right in there and work along side their employees. And of course the food was delicious. Especially the chocolate cake. Thank you for a great experience.

So welcoming, the food is so authentic, DELICIOUS Ms.Renee so sweet....she made sure we had everything we needed... we will be back! Totally coming back. Family oriented for sure. The food portioned to full families of 4+....shareable sizes.

I am low-carb, so I normally don't eat at Italian restaurants. I was craving an antipast salad and found out they had one. The salad was nicely chopped with pepperoni, salami, feta, provolone, red onions and olives. It was very fresh and their dressing is great. I will have to make it back when I have a carb day and eat like normal people to try the other dishes. Very good.

Amazing dinner! Never had an empty drink, the food was delish!! Mia was spot on with service and a smile. The manager Chris came by and checked on us twice, shared some good stories and laughs. It’s been a while since we have been to Buca. Glad we came back!

We had three different pastas. Chicken Carbonara, Spaghetti Meatsauce, and a Build Your Own. All of them were flavorful and delicious. The garlic cheesy bread was my favorite. It was very garlicky and crunchy and soft at the same time. The waiter was very attentive.

Our server “Mia” was great; very attentive and friendly. Pleasant and I would ask for her again. Met the manager “ Christopher”, very friendly and made us feel welcomed and part of the family. I would definitely dine here again and recommend to friends and family. Food portions are huge. My family enjoyed the Caesar salad, the bread and the Chicken parm, the only thing I didn’t care for was the Ravioli, I felt it lacked taste, kinda blah. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Good food and friendly service. Cheesecake is a good dessert option although I hear the Tiramisu is excellent I'm not a fan so I didn't try it. The house salad dressing is really good. I'll be back.

The food and drinks were great, but not being warned that they had no AC upon entering the building is unacceptable. I saw portable units as I was walked through the restaurant, and started to worry. No mention was made by hostess or waiter. I wish I had gotten up and left, but my out of town guests were excited for the experience. We didn't eat most of our meal from sheer discomfort. Many tables were sat in our area and then moved, not sure if they left or moved to another area, but it seemed all rooms were running on those not effective portable units. For what I spent I am supremely disappointed in this experience. Call to see if AC is repaired before going. Sneaky for them not to have a sign or warn us. Probably will move them far down my list on this experience alone.

The prices have not changed and are now reasonable! Again we ordered takeout: eggplant parmigiana and a meatball about $30 with tip and a $10 coupon. Pickup was fast and friendly. I've waited longer at McDonald's. Food was delicious. Very savory sauce, with a definite basil flavor. So why a missing star? Presentation. For some impossibly stupid reason, instead of layering six servings in three stacks, the kitchen layered two (2) stacks of three (3) servings. The top serving looks perfect, and the container had room, so why not make three stacks!!? Mother's Day rules demanded I eat from the soggy bottom layer, which was still delicious.

Fried calamari is one to rival! The interior is a blast from the past in a surprising and pleasing way. The service is always great and the food, well the food is delicious! The portions are family sized, which means we always have leftovers because typically we each get our own entree. My parents used to come here for date night, now I enjoy visiting as an adult. This place is a gem, and hope they stay in business for a very very long time! I absolutely recommend visiting for any occasion.

This is an Italian restaurant for families and groups! Every entrée is served family style and I'll serve at least two people, maybe three. Today, we tried a new entree. The meatball rollato, which was listed as a pizza, but certainly is not. It was an interesting dish, calzone-like with ricotta cheese with marinara sauce on the side. see picture. Service was excellent, ambience is cool. Not for singles alone.

We ordered takeout. They charged us $115 for 2 plates of stuffed shells, one order of cannolis, and one order of garlic bread. When we opened the shells, most were rock hard. Please see the video. The shells that were not rock hard were filled with spicy sausage rather than ricotta. Overall, terrible experience and will not return.

We've dined in at BDP in the past, and enjoyed the food. This review is for our Togo order from today. I forgot to add pasta to my online order, so I called BDP - the employee who picked up shared that they can't modify online orders, but she wanted to check with the manager. Now, note that most employees would you volunteer to do so themselves without being asked. This employee did. After a few minutes, I was connected to Bernie - the manager. I was getting terribly reception so we got disconnected. Bernie called me back twice - two times! I've never had a manager call me back twice in order to get back in touch. He was extremely helpful and quickly resolved my issue. It's rare to come across managers that truly care about their customer's experience!

I loved this restaurant!!! My whole family did actually. Service was fast and the waiter was very helpful with his suggestions. He was recommending the food and let us know about our portions. It was a nice experience having to order just 2-3 items for the family. I do like smaller portions so we can try a variety but I guess we just have to come more often. So the food was excellent--quality and hot! I even had enough to take some home and it was a family of 6 eating. The food is a little pricey but not to the point of it ruining your experience. I think it's worth it bc you can tell that they use quality products. The environment was relaxed, good AC and was told the restroom was a bit dirty. It was Easter so maybe it was just busy. That being said, after we paid, wishing 3-4 minutes we were told that soon they had another reservation...um OK! That was a bit annoying so not coming back when it's busy bc I hate to be rushed off. I may have ordered dessert for our family if we had been allowed a few minutes. Anyways just not coming when it's busy and hopefully having an even better time.

Food was very good! Everything came to the table in a very reasonable time frame. Service was excellent and our waiter even divided up the check for 13 of us. The restaurant needs to refresh its floors and carpet.

I know a lot of people are concerned about pricing. Given that I'm a frugal diner,I understand pocketbook watching quite well. Let me explain to you why you should try this place. First of all, if you get Eddy as your server, you will understand what customer service is supposed to be about. He is never bothersome and anticipates what you may possibly need. He isn't afraid to make suggestions and always is descriptive with the options. Secondly, this establishment design their meals to have big portions. The price you are seeing is designed to have 2 or meal people eat off the dish most times. You have to take a look at the variety offered as well on your deciding factor. I actually like many of their salads. Give the apple gorgangaza salad a try... you will be glad you did. Frugal suggestion time: sign up for the email club. This place sends deals ALL THE TIME! You can get freebies and 50% off deals just for being part of the club. You'll eat big portions, and have your frugal side tamed. Also opt to go for lunch because they have big personal portions at decent pricing. You can enjoy this place without wallet crying. Come give them a try.

We have been here two times to celebrate birthdays with big party group. Both times the servers have been excellent and they don't give you a hard time splitting the bill per family. Food is good and service too!

Best place to eat pizza and pasta. Huge servings. I love the sams club discounted gift cards. Best deal around. Even though the location has moved from the Buffalo speedway this is still so good pizza

Great old school Italian very fun. Very kind staff. I enjoyed takeout. Parking was easy and the service was great I really recommend this place.

Much better experience this time. Most of that due to Luke our server. He was attentive and efficient. Food was well prepared and time was taken on the presentation.

Food is always good but the quantities are extreme lol, any first time goers should know that when it says it will feed two, it really means 4 and I'm a big guy, the service is always good and they're attentive, they have to be when they cater to parties that are at least 20 people (in my particular experience) every time we have gone they have been on point, not one missed order or empty glass... the ambiance is a little much though and it's a bit crowded that being said the waits aren't too long and parking is not an issue.

I was honored to host and celebrate my very, very new girlfriend MAS for her birthday at the Buca di Beppo location The Woodlands TX on Sun 7/16/23 mid-afternoon. We started with wine at the bar so she could open her birthday gifts and it was suggested by Buca we try a newly created mushroom appetizer that was absolutely delicious! Subsequently, we were offered to sit at a private, single table in the kitchen area that was very exclusive; so, we had the full attention of all the Buca chefs, waiters and management team as they all helped MAS feel very special on her birthday. While we sipped our wine each server presented to us what the chef had created for a restaurant guest. It was an opportunity to see the special attention the chefs gave to each order and how the server helped make it special. However, it was Alec, our server, who made us feel so exceptional as he attended to our every request and need with our drinks, entrees, and an awesome chocolate desert just for MAS. Alec even decorated our table with two beautiful, ornate candle sticks and candles lit ready for her private birthday wish. Alec and all his co-workers also helped with pictures to help us memorialize MAS's birthday party. It was epic occasion as I am pretty sure MAS had a wonderful time! I wanted to share our wonderful Buca experience and recommend your next party be at Buca and be sure to ask for Alec! TY, RRL

Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was also pretty good. Felt very "good fellas" or "godfather ish,. All in all , I would go back. Portions were huge and good quality. We had 17 in our party and everyone was happy. Loved the set up, table in the kitchen, walking through the kitchen to get to our table. Pretty cool

The food was so oily .This was my first time and ordered the food to go. Started to not even post since the family was so upset over the appearance. The eggplant parmesan was packed in a plastic bag ~ which was full of oil when I unpacked it. The edge of the eggplant wasn't tender and hard to even cut with a fork and knife. The side order of noodles with sauce didn't taste as if it was made fresh. The young lady putting in the order said the salad was large and I commented ~ great enough for lunch tomorrow. NOT ~ lettuce was awful and I tried picking out a few pieces but tossed It. Bread was just so-so. Unfortunately I only have the 2 picks. I'll hopefully find my receipt so I can post the meal ordered. We saw a few cars pull up outside for Togo orders so figured it was good. But evidently there are people that love it. Just not for me. Food 2stars Staff 4 stars ~ very nice. Spent $63 ~

This place is everything I love about Italian food. I truly don't know why this place has only three stars. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant's interior is designed like a traditional Italian restaurant. The only negative thing I have to say is that the wait time for the food can sometimes be long and may not be ideal for large groups. But if you have the time the food is certainly worth the wait. Buca di Beppo is definitely worth checking out!

Usually we have a great experience. And I'm solely writing this review so management can do something about this issue. We celebrated a birthday party of 11 in the Roman emperor room. We brought it to our waitresses attention as soon as we sat down that the area was hot. But nothing was done about it. Even the other guests around us mentioned how warm it was in this area compared to the rest of the restaurant. We also ordered 2 large orders of chicken Alfredo along with 3 other large orders. And both chicken Alfredo's were undercooked the noodles were hard. Half of the part had never been here before so they did not have a good first experience.

First, I need to state that we went on Christmas Day (with a reservation), so our experience may not be the norm. Ok, this was our first time at Buca, so we didn't know exactly how to 'do this right'. As we were leaving, we saw how to properly order at Buca haha. That is, order a bowl of pasta and the entrees (We didn't realize pasta didn't come with the entrees). We really did appreciate the staff for being there on the holiday. We ordered salads and appetizers. We got salads after our entrees showed up and never got the apps. The reason we were given was that a large party had shown up, without reservations, and it bogged down the kitchen, causing things to come out whenever. I can understand the overwhelm, just felt a little like an excuse for a mess up. Food was good. We had the bruschetta chicken, chicken Marsala, chicken limone, and stuffed shells. And salad. Next time we go, we'll know to get pasta, too, haha.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Allec. I had such a great experience. His service was on point and the conversation was even better. He noticed that my wife and I were both wearing Alabama gear and we instantly had something in common. ROLL TIDE Allec thank you for the great service.

Amazing service and great food! Kaylie, Steven, and Alec were absolutely awesome! They made sure our experience was unforgettable. The decor is so cute and fun to look at. Looking forward to coming back very very soon. Absolutely superb.

A group of 8 visited this location for lunch on Monday. Our server Eddy took great care in providing us with top notch guest service throughout our dining experience. We were seated at the Pope's table which gave us privacy. Our orders were all served correctly and the food was savory and delicious. The desserts were especially tasty. Because of this experience, we will definitely return.

Favorite of mine! My family and I come here so many times and every single time they impress! We order so many different foods and dessert, but my ultimate favorite is the chocolate fudge sundae! The first time we came to Buca we were unaware of what was going to happen and we were shocked by the size of the dessert! Everyone in the room laughed with us about this humongous sundae but it was so good we finished it all! I also came here on my birthday and they have quite a fun celebration for that too! I totally recommend coming here!

The food is great. We order the meatballs and the pizza and they are the best. Eddy is super kind and a great waiter. The restaurant has the most bizarre decorations including the head of the catholic pope in one of the tables.

I have always loved Buca i have celebrated my bday once and might think of celebrating it in the next year to come;)) They are generous with their servings though sometimes if the restaurant is full some server do forget some of our condiments but thta is ok;)) Overall the Pasta is my favorite and their fried calamari;))

Decided to stop by and eat pasta. We're from California and the times I've had it it was delicious. Upon arrival I noticed they never vacuum the floors the bar area smelled so disgusting and was dirty as could be. We got sat and I instantly started getting bit by bugs under the table! Once we got our menus they were filthy and had gum on them!! Unacceptable we waited about 10 minutes and no one came back we decided to get up and leave !! Don't waste your time it's disgusting. Imagine the kitchen!!

Kaylie, Steven, and Alek we're absolutely amazing! Made my birthday experience one to remember. The aesthetic is perfect and food was delicious.

Service (Alec), food quality and overall experience was excellent. Alec placed our order, offered some excellent recommendations (chicken carbonara, Brussels sprouts app, meatballs, all of it was excellent). My family and I sat in the kitchen and were very pleased! Well done kitchen staff and well done Alec!

Lilly was great and very professional. The food was great and atmosphere is one of a kind.

The shrimp penne pasta was amazing! As well as the lasagna. Judy was our server and she was absolutely lovely she got refills right on time every time and we had a question about the cheese on the pizza and she brought out the cheeses that came on the pizza. Manager was very nice as well oh oh not to mention the lemon cannoli was the best cannoli I've had in a long time.

$81 for 2 ITEMS!! I ordered a pasta with shrimp and chicken and camimari just those two items!! (3 waters and a dr pep) The place is expensive and MEDIOCRE!!!! Honestly Olive Garden is 100% better and has more flavor for less money too! The food was BELOW mediocre and lacked flavor! The restaurant didnt feel the cleanest, and the seats were sticky. The maximalist (lots of )decorations and small area made me and my family feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Also they have photos EVERYWHERE and some are very inappropriate showing almost all exposed people and in the bathroom pictures of laddies in their undergarments. Please head my warning and spend your money somewhere else. This is my first time going and I'm most definitely never coming back.

This is the second time in as many weeks that I have been here... I came in search of meat and found these half pound meatballs that were phenomenal! My server, EDDY, was absolutely fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable about all dishes; he described everything in great detail and was spot on! His recommendations were perfect! The atmosphere is family oriented as well as friendly. The service was so fast you felt as though you had just given him the order, and he turned around and had it in his hands! I have enjoyed these last two visits and will continue to come for meatballs and cocktails! Definitely request, Eddy!!!!

Read several reviews saying it was family friendly and that the food was good. We were excited to try their bogo entree deal, but sadly, we never made it past the entry way. Half dressed people in photos all over the walls as well as a few naked people in pictures posed in ways just enough to cover certain parts. When we walked into the waiting area, there was a photo right at our childrens eye level of a naked man crouched down. You could see his entire side profile. His bits were concealed by his knees. My husband peeked his head into the eating area and it wasn't any better. We politely told the waitress that we wouldn't be dining in after all and went elsewhere. This is NOT a place for children or even adults who are mindful of images being put into your mind. Not interested in looking at soft porn while I enjoy a meal with the family.

I celebrated my birthday with a friend at Buca. We were seated in the kitchen - so that was a fun & unique experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautifully done. Our waiter was named Eddie and he was so personable and so friendly and did everything he could to help our experience to be the best and one I won't ever forget! I traveled an hour to get there; my friend traveled an hour and a half - and it was worth all our trouble. Be sure you get the dessert the big Sunday that you see pictured blow it was absolutely fantastic!

This place smells like a High School Gym as you walk to get seated, The service is awful and the food is even worse. The Garlic Bread is complete crap disgusting. The 3 family style meals we ordered were all disgusting The 2 salads we got were disgusting Do not go here the food is worse than any I have had in a long time. So to recap service awful-food even worse. I would rather kill myself then eat here again.

Came here for dinner with my cousins. The servers seemed to be new, nice but didn't know the answers to many questions we asked. I'm allergic to pork so the server was nice enough to go ask the kitchen if certain dishes were safe to eat. We enjoyed the calamari and mozzarella sticks. Our food came out quickly and the portions are huge! Everything is meant to be family size and shared. Overall the food was good and we'd like to go back.

It was our first time here, and we were looking for a place for our family of 6 after a long drive in the rain. We had chicken parmigiana, ravioli pomodoro, Lasagna and as I am GF, the chicken limone. A few cocktails... the Roman tiki, bramble lemonade and elder flower punch (without bubbles) were all fantastic! Pinar did a fantastic job taking care of us, considering we arrived at 8pm with two under 10 year olds. It is hard to find good GF options, so the Limone chicken - was so close to a chicken francais - just exceeded my expectations, even if the 3 pieces if chicken on the small order were noticeably smaller than the chicken Parmigiana.

If I could give zero stars I would. It used to be a good place to go, however now it is going downhill. The restaurant smells musty, that should have been our first sign. The antipasto salad was wilted and warm, that should have been enough. It was my husband's birthday and that is where he wanted to go so we stayed. We ordered Chicken Carbonara, Pesto chicken, and Baked Ziti. We had four different households all end up with a bad case of food poisoning over the weekend. We were able to isolate it down to the Chicken Carbonara, that is what we all ate. I would not recommend going back, it has definitely gotten worse. Waiting to hear back from them to see what they are going to do about the cases of food poisoning.

I wish I could give 0 stars, they will however get 1 star because the tool some food off our bill. The place isn't managers well at all!! I had to wait 15 minutes for the hostess to come and seat us. When she did arrive she had a blank look in her face. She was dressed poorly. Had no idea she was an employee. She was rude and they had overbooked our bday reservation. There was a waiter named Steve. Very very rude. My poor mothers bday experience was ruined!! I food was not good! Very bland. Will never go here again. Looking back should never have paid anything.

Small Chicken Parmesan- with an extra side of garlic bread. Chicken Parm was great. Garlic bread was a little bit heavy on the garlic side.

Heads up, it's family style. So the portions are huge. 2 dishes to a family of 4. I got the lasagna and trust me, I've had better. Much better. Food had no taste to it what so ever. The marinara sauce was straight from a can. And it wasn't marinara sauce, it was just diced tomatoes. Pathetic. Service was ok. Am I going back? Nope.

Authentic Italian restaurant... Plates are big so we tend to share!!! The place deco is a bit strange but loved to see the sense of humor in it!!
