Buccaneer Golf Course

Doris are waitress is the ambassador of smiles for the buccaneer hotel. Not only is she very sophisticated, she is an outstanding example of how to provide world-class services I recommend that sir in her section and you will be amazed at her ability to make you smile Great job Doris!!! Family our family!!!

Super friendly staff. The course is very hilly. Fairways and sand traps are in kinda bad shape.

Very nice course with UH-Mazing views! I'm sure it's hard to keep the fairways green. They were pretty dead/dry. Clubhouse staff was great! 18 holes, 2 sets of clubs & a cart was $210. Not terrible :) Always perfect weather to play.

9 on a beautiful end of Feb afternoon. Everyone was pleasant. After 2 days of good rain, I found the course very playable. It drains quickly (or the ground was very thirsty), some breath taking views, nicely designed imo... I'm a casual (for fun) golfer so I don't have the desires or needs of those who are serious. Yes, some of the sand traps are now grassy & I've seen nicer fairways/greens. But I don't know what = normal in the Caribbean. And I've been on very similar feeling courses in Florida. A great time was had. $147/ 1/2 round + clubs/cart/9 used balls/ 5 plastic tees. Oh! I Parred #5. 😎

This course has much to be desired but the views are second to none. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the fairways and greens are far from the high price of admission. I understand the drought is rough but to tout the presidents visit here over Christmas break and hold the carts on the path is an understatement to the quality that is lacking here. Not sure what it would damage other than help with the weed control.. it did look like they were adding sprinklers so maybe next year it will be better.

Nice layout but slow greens and relatively short course although lots of elevation change. Hire clubs are TM Stealth but no balls provided with the hire. Rough hard to find your ball because of the type of grass used. Cost is expensive for the standard of course. Water coolers dotted around the course which is good.

Recommend carambola golf course over this place if you’re looking to play. Simulator is broken. Driving range doesn’t open until 3pm. It’s cart path only all the time (not due to rain). They wouldn’t allow my 3 year old son to play with me even though I’ve golfed with him every Thursday for the past 19 months. The fairways looks nice, but again, you’ll be walking on then as it is cart path only.

A fine track, about 5600 yds from the tips, not much difference to the whites. Greens in good shape , though could be rolled more often. Nice elevation changes and great views. The few traps could use some sand, couldn't be that hard to find. I will play the course again.
