Capable staff and offers a large selection of art books. In fact, they had copies of an otherwise sold out edition (not pictured) I was after (museum store, book store, and online were all sold out!). Thank you so much for coming to the rescue :)

An architecturally impressive place with unique charm! The bookstore at Savignyplatz, located in the arches beneath the S-Bahn station, offers a wonderful selection of modern books in various languages. Art, music, fashion, and design calendars, as well as some beautiful children’s illustrated books, complete the assortment. The opening hours from Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM, provide plenty of flexibility for a visit. The shopping experience is truly unique: strolling under the bridge and wandering through the shelves inspires you to discover great works for personal growth. Tip: Make sure to bring enough time to browse and fully enjoy the special atmosphere! An absolute hidden gem for book lovers.

Although this store has one of the greatest book selections and quality I have seen on art, design and other interesting topics, they will never achieve 5 star rating from me because the experience of shopping here is often tarnished by some of the employees who forgot they are working in a bookstore and not for the Berlin police department. As a frequent customer who has bought many books here I have had to leave on several occasions due to employees killing my vibe by coming up to me insisting that it is not allowed to take photos even when I’m not taking photos. Before writing this review I tried to explain to the employee at the time how this accusation while I’m trying to peacefully select a nice book is disruptive, however he seemed to be if the opinion that the ever so slight possibility that I could potentially be using my phone to take a photo was more of a pressing issue than disrupting customers. Sure maybe there is a copywrite concern about photos of the book but life is short, let people shop in peace and don’t accuse before you know. I left without my wanted book because was really the vibe kill of a wonderful book exploration session :(

Great art books. Nice architecture.

One of my favorite bookstores in the world. Good curated selection of architecture books (also film, graphic design, fashion etc) and an interesting location under the S-bahn tracks. I visit this establishment everytime I’m in Berlin and always find something to buy. The staff help out and give tips + recommendations based on what I’m looking. Highly recommend.

Huge bookstore with a great selection of film, architecture, and culture books. Some books in English scattered about. Each area has its own theme. Can easily spend an hour browsing here.

I loved the store, I found all graphic design related books, which I've never seen in Berlin with that many options before. I highly recommend exploring the whole store since it's full of architecture and design books inside. My favorite store in Berlin from now on <3
