The shop’s grand arches and wide windows make it a true icon and pairs gritty Berlin with a classic European park vibe. It opened in 1980 by the visionary Ruthild Spangenberg, a passionate book lover and wife of an inspiring architect. It's no question that the two had a vision with the space as it (and the books) encompass all things art, architecture and design.
