I went for the world famous zydeco breakfast I Loved the atmosphere my waitress was super nice. My ettoufee topped grits were hot and my biscuit was warm but the eggs and the bacon were cold. They did deduct it from my check so I'm super grateful they were understanding. I'm willing to give it another chance another day. 🙂

Dinner for two. Service was spectacular, ambiance and decor was amazing, great nostalgic atmosphere.
Swamp sticks, there version of cheese bread was great. The Breaux Bridge pasta was decent, lot of spice seemed to be missing something. Pork Ribeye steak was decent, thin but well flavored, the vegetable meddle was not very good, odd boiled color and many broccoli stalks were hard and fibrous chew, bland in flavor.
Cheesecake-Banana Fosters to go was very good, crust just right and very flavorful.
Will be back to catch the breakfast when traveling back through. Solid 4.4.

This appears to be a local favorite. We stopped for a Monday lunch after a swamp tour. Looks like their big weekly event is the Saturday lunch. I had the crayfish etoufee, which was served over rice. It was spicy, but not hot. Even the potato salad was good. My wife had the daily special fried pork chop, which disappointed her. Service was friendly, and I'd certainly go back.

Holy pizza! The carnivore Pizza is really loaded down with great meat! We enjoyed the 10" with side salads, house and cesar. Make sure to get the pizza crispy/ well done, because the crust is thin. Got a few of the dressings to try and wow! The cane syrup, honey mustard and ranch are made in house and really yummy. They have some super delicious items but a tummy can only take so much. Ha!

Made a quick stop before the game and the artichoke dip was wonderful. Unfortunately the fried fish had a questionable skin that made it impossible to eat.
Great atmosphere! Great drinks!
It’s worth the drive (just avoid the fish).

Nice place with good service. The food was quick and delicious! I had the seafood pasta, it was very good but if you don't like spice it might not be for you. The ceasar salad was great as well. I also bought the Bayou Blast pizza to take home. Haven't tried it yet but looking forward to a good lunch tomorrow. A little pricey but the portions make up for it. Give it a try!

Great Atmosphere with plenty of seating for our group of 9. Fast very friendly service from staff who knows their menu. I had the seafood gumbo and potato salad. Loved the dark roux's flavor. The temperature could have been a little warmer for my taste. Overall good. Not the best but I was not disappointed either. Friends with me had pizza and wrap dishes that they enjoyed that also looked delicious except for 1 who had fried fish (nuggets not fillets) and shrimp) that she didn't like.
I'm looking forward to returning for Zydeco breakfast on a Saturday!

Grab a Bayou Blast pizza and hang out on Saturday nights — always something fun going on. LSU games on in the bar. Great menu with lots of options. Customer service rocks! Live bands on wknd with zydeco dancing. Saturday Zydeco Breakfast.
My husband and I enjoy the Pasta Cecilia and the Seafood Pasta. Stuffed seafood mushrooms are great appetizers. My fave beverage is the garden martini.
