Buck Wild

You can’t talk about Buck Wild without mentioning the mechanical bull. It’s the centerpiece of the bar and the best way to determine who in your group has the most "Texas" in them. Even if you don’t ride, watching the inevitable wipeouts is top-tier entertainment.

This is my most favorite place to come to in Austin!! I really enjoyed how they had different drinks and the prices was on the wall. The menu was not too expensive. Highly recommend amazing customer service.

It’s not the bartenders fault so I’m not complaining about anyone who works there. BUT. The menu prices don’t match. I was charged $14 for something the menu says is $8 and when I complained they told me there was a sign on the door that said the menu prices were only happy hour so I went outside to look for the sign and there was no sign and I couldn’t return the drink.

Mid/young 20s bar. Paid about $35 for 2 drinks. One tasted like apple juice straight up with a popsicle then one just absolutely not balanced at all just straight bourbon. Def a younger vibe at this bar. Better places on 6th st. Mid spot..

it’s usually empty even on saturday nights. it’s only packed during holidays or events and there’s a really clear reason why. the women bartenders are extremely rude. i paid for my drinks last night (after she made them wrong bc they’re too lazy to make the drinks with all the ingredients that they’re supposed to have) and after i paid and tried to grab my drinks she moved my hand from grabbing them. so i asked for my money back and left. it’s funny bc we brought in so many people with us and we all left after that. this bar was so much better 2 years ago, now it’s flopping and i know it’s simply bc of the women that work there. they are the most unfriendly and DRUNK bartenders you will ever meet. they stand behind the bar, drink and gossip and completely ignore you half the time.

I rode the bull here for $10 and the guy was nice and let me try 3 times at different speeds. The drinks were unique and super delicious. Their adult milkshakes are definately more of a drink consistency and small but tasty. We tried shots as well and they were super delicious.

Drinks were yummy but not very boozy. You pay for the experience and the juice/mixers they use. Two drinks and one shot was $33. It's a fun place for sure though...bull riding machine and all. And definitely the biggest selection of booze that I've seen apart from a liquor store. Lol

Awkward atmosphere with a cold environment. Bartender was very rude when I questioned why a drink listed at $8 rang up as $13. Bull is another taxed gimmick
