Massive Fire Destroys Nightlife Spot and Sports Bar Buckhead Saloon on Roswell Road | Eater Atlanta

"An early-morning two-alarm blaze broke out around 8 a.m., growing so intense that firefighters had to battle it from outside and the roof collapsed; the fire was mostly under control by 11:30 a.m., no injuries were reported, and crews remained on scene extinguishing hot spots. The fire appears to have originated in the back of the building, required more than 50 firefighters to battle, and prompted the closure of Roswell Road from Peachtree Road to East Andrews Drive while authorities continue an active investigation into the cause." - Beth McKibben

We stopped in for a bestie date. The security and front door staff was very kind. Ladies admission was $20.00 upon entry we noticed napkins all over the floor but apparently that's what they do, throw napkins all over the floor (as if it were money). It was strange and girls were having difficulty walking thru the napkins. We witnessed 2 females actually fall. Dj was good and bartenders were promptly assisting customers. Bathroom was clean and well lit. Parking decks or street parking available but Uber may be best option. Not sure if they serve food. Wasn't offered and didn't see anyone eating. The whole napkin thing was the only thing that was off. Seemed wasteful and weird. Got a sponsor and didn't have to buy any drinks so that was an added bonus!

DO NOT GO TO THE SALOON AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE EXPECTING A GOOD NIGHT OUT IN BUCKHEAD ATLANTA “SALOON “, IS NOT THE PLACE. THIS SPACE LACKS THE RESPECT FOR PEOPLE THAT COME TO ENJOY THEIRSELVES AND SPEND GOOD MONEY. THEY HAVE EVENTS WHERE PEOPLE PURCHASE WHITE SQUARE NAPKINS TO THROWWWW, DIRTY NAPKINS OFF OF THE FLOOR AT GUEST THAT PAY TO ENTER THEIR SPACE OF ENTERTAINMENT. PEOPLE ARE BEING DISRESPECTED WITH THE FILTHINESS AND DISRESPECT. AS FOR THE SERVICE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL BE DISREGARDED AND DISMISSED BY SECURITY. ITS SAD AND NOT A GOOD MARKETING OF ATLANTA ENTERTAINMENT. WHEN ASKED FOR THE RETURN OF PAYMENT AFTER SEEING THE APPEARANCE AND HAVING DIRTY NAPKINS BEING THROWN AT ME, THE CARELESSNESS WAS EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTING. THIS ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED BY THE CITY BEFORE THEY BURN DOWN, AGAIN!!! FOR THE HAZZARD OF NAPKINS COVERING THE FLOOR AMD MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WALK. THANK YOU

First time eating here. I like the vibe. Got here around 930p and it wasn't too busy. I can see the crowd growing! All the staff members seems pretty cool. Bartenders are definitely awesome! Aly has been the best so far! I had the burger...it was good! A cool chill spot!

Went on a Wednesday around 9pm as crowds were thinning out. We saw our waitress a grand total of 3 times even after we tried to flag her down. Zero refills on drinks despite asking. The wings were tasteless and pretty slimy, without the traditional breading coating so they had the appearance of being undercooked. The fries were just ok. And to cap all of that off, I gave the waitress 20 dollars and exact change for a 14 dollar bill. We waited almost half an hour for her to come back before we had to chase her down to get change. She had “assumed” that she’d gotten a 40% tip, despite not asking or any indication from myself, and had to get her manager to get my money back. Then had the audacity to bring my change back in all ones. If I could give 0 stars, I honestly would. Definitely won’t be coming back here.

I went on a Sunday night. This place used to be a dance club, now it's a hookah lounge money suck. Cover was $30 for guys and $20 for girls. The entire floor was a roped off VIP section and if you weren't a part of it there was no reason to be there. Anywhere we tried to stand or hang out they told us to move, like 6 times. We couldn't just exist in the place. The music was great, drinks were reasonable and didn't take forever. Their napkin throwing gimmick is and always has been trashy. Imagine paying $750 for a section and you lose your drinks under a mountain of napkins.

It was cool. The lady at the bar forgot my food, but my drink was mixed really well and it wasn't overly crowded or too long of a wait.

Nice place, great bartenders! Especially Izabella. She’s very caring and outgoing. A fun person to talk to after a long week. Veggie Quesadillas were delicious too!

Was a tissue throwing party with people on their hands and knees searching through the paper tissues on the floor.
