"I saw that Bucktown Pub will host a 10-day Wayne’s Basement pop-up starting April 20 and running through April 29, transforming the space into a '90s suburban Aurora, Illinois basement complete with a couch, chair and guitar. They’ll have Wayne’s World–themed Around the Bend beers on tap and a ridiculous Garth drink — described as a large-format, tiki-like beverage — and GM Autumn Giltner said there will be about four signature cocktails; she’s even toying with making the Garth drink pricey and donating proceeds to a charity, perhaps one that donates music instruments to underprivileged kids. The pop-up is a collaboration with Around the Bend, which will rename six of its beers with playful titles like “A Sphincter Says What?,” staff will dress up, and customers are encouraged to wear costumes.
